Rayman 2 - Speed boost when jumping out of water
updated
You can download it here:

Note that this doesn't run well on modern Windows (it's a bit of a crapshoot if it works at all). This is running on PCEm, set up using the following guide:

I also copied the game files to the C drive and followed the readme instructions which said to copy the DLL files to the system folder.
This is pretty hard but hopefully this guide helps a bit.

Based on Rayman 2's Globox and Uglette voices - for a mere 20 seconds of data in total to train on I think it turned out pretty well!

It contains a few interesting changes compared to the final version, most notably an area in the sanctuary of Water and Ice that seems completely different.
Upscaling method is a blend of Waifu2x and RealSR.
Sorry for the lack of game audio, I was watching something in the background and didn't record desktop audio.
Note: the video timer at the end says 01:54:23, in which case the 23 means 23 frames (on 60fps, 23/60 = 0.383 seconds)

Here's a quick tutorial for the new wrong grab + airswim in Fairy Glade 1, and a comparison for the Fairy Glade revisit with a first try "old" airswim.
It seems to be important that you're going upwards when activating your hover to get the glide going, so you'll need to start the hover real quickly after jumping.
Tested on PC, probably works on DC, maybe on N64 as well.
Instructions and Download are here:

This mod changes the controls of Rayman 2 to the infamous "tank controls" or "car controls", where pressing a direction will turn the character in that direction, instead of the controls being relative to the camera.

April Fools! 🙃 This video was NOT official, from Gamestar or Ubisoft...
BUT
The gameplay you see in this video is absolutely REAL!
A few people from the community worked very hard to make these awesome levels you see in the video. For more info check this video:

Hopefully you enjoyed! (And are not too mad! 😅)
-- Original prank --
A while back, a Rayman community member tweeted about an unreleased title called "Rayman 2: Back to School" which was listed in some gaming magazines and on IGN.
This piqued my curiosity and I ended up contacting some of these magazines/sites and recently got in touch with GameStar.de
They were nice enough to take a look in their archives and managed to find this unreleased "Video-Special" showing gameplay of (presumably) an N64 build of this game!
The concept of this game seems to have been a mix between the original Rayman 2 (it features lum collectables, cages, purple lum grappling) and the educational Rayman Junior (Rayman Brain Games).
It features environments similar to the ones seen in Rayman 2 but also has throwbacks to Rayman 1/Junior, including school utensils and a Picture City styled world.
Not much else is known about this game, except that it was apparently (also) planned for PS1 and was supposed to release around 2000.

This is a new strat that Coco and I developed where you clip out of bounds after the screen transition in order to be able to use the Infinite Barrel Glitch.
What happens if you don't enter the screen transition before using IBG, the game will softlock as soon as you go out of bounds. By entering the screen transition you remove the little cutscene trigger that normally causes the softlock.
The electric fence luckily allows you to clip out of bounds and grab the purple lum.
In order to grab the purple lum you do need to screenshot to extend the range of your shots.

Hexteria is a casual but challenging Turn-Based Strategy and Puzzle game. The concept is simple: each turn you rotate one hexagonal tile on the board to take over your opponents' tiles.
Here's a quick video showing off how quick and easy it is to publish your own Hexteria maps on the Steam Workshop! Hexteria is releasing this august, so be sure to add the game to your Steam wishlist!
Today I did the first test run of Twitch Plays Hexteria!
I played some matches versus my chat. Chat controls the game by typing a Tile's number, and the most voted tile gets clicked!
In this replay I played yellow and chat was purple. It was way too close, but I managed to win! 🎉

Hexteria is a Puzzle and Strategy game that I've been developing for about half a year now. It's currently in a closed beta, but I'm planning to release it Spring of this year (pretty soon!).

Things I forgot to mention in the video:
- The exit in The Sanctuary of Rock and Lava 2 is also broken but I forgot to record it. 21 Broken exits I guess.
- There's a bunch of "fake" files on the Rayman 2 disc that appear to take up a giant amount of space (multiple gigabytes), which made copying the game to a physical disc impossible.
- According to a developer's profile, the protection took a bit over 10 months to be broken.
, but there's no video of it at the moment.
I'm not sure how hard it is since I TASed this, but it saves a whopping 2 minutes (exactly) so it would definitely be worth going for.
It does seem kinda finnicky though, hopefully there's a setup...
The Fire tile replaces the old Skip tile. When it changes color, it sets all connected tiles ablaze. These tiles have to be extinguished before they can be used again.
The Ice Tile freezes whenever it changes color, and only unfreezes after you have played another turn!

What is Hexteria?
Hexteria's goal is simple: to win, you need to take over all the opponent's tiles. You can do so by rotating your tiles, which in turn will infect all the connected tiles with your color! The game will feature a Single Player campaign, Online and Offline multiplayer, multiple Game Modes and a Level Editor. Ultimately the game will be available for Desktop (Win, Mac, Linux), iOS and Android.

As always special thanks to Droolie, the Rayman God :)
In particular:
- The path between the Fairy Glade and Echoing Caves
- The hidden "Astro_20"/"Monde des pirates"/"Wipe_10" portal under the waterfall
