Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers - Restoration Comparison SpaceHunterM⚧ 2022-09-21 | While the moodier, darker color grading of the 1996 master of Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers is usually seen as indicative of the film's intended look (after all, this is how the film has been presented for 26 years), the warmer, brighter grade on Warner's new restoration seems to reflect the original 1987 broadcast master telecine and Hanna-Barbera's original intent.

While the colors are a lot fucking better than the 1999 telecine (perhaps at the consequence of a moodier, dimmer color grade), a lot of the grain seems to be sheared away. It's hard to tell just how much from the WEB-DL compression, but it does look noticeably softer than Warner's 2019 restoration of Zombie Island.
