Friday Night Funkin': Corruption, also known simply as Corruption or alternatively as Evil Mod, is a Friday Night Funkin' mod created by Phantom Fear. Inspired by the Christmas tree decoration in Week 5's Winter Horrorland of the original game, the mod imagines a disease outbreak that turns the infected into dark, shadowy monsters. Updates on the mod's ongoing development are released as a video series on YouTube; as of June 2024, the series spans 29 episodes.
Currently, three playable demos have been released for the mod: the Spooky Kids Demo that covers Week 2, the Senpai Demo that covers Week 4, and the Null Demo that covers Week 9.
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player controls a character called Boyfriend, who must defeat a series of opponents to continue dating his significant other, Girlfriend. The player must pass multiple levels, referred to as "Weeks" in-game, containing three songs each. Each week, the player faces a different opponent, though some deviate in structure from this via the inclusion of multiple opponents. During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes represented as arrows, which the player must then mirror by using their set keybinds, by default the arrow keys (↑, ↓, ←, →) and W, A, S, and D keys on a keyboard. Some songs introduce more complicated patterns, with the player's pattern sometimes varying from the opponent's or both singers engaging in a duet. CHILLER FNF

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on itch.io.
Mickey Mouse is an American cartoon character co-created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. The longtime icon and mascot of the Walt Disney Company, Mickey is an anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large shoes, and white gloves. He is often depicted with a cast of characters including his girlfriend Minnie Mouse, his pet dog Pluto, his best friends Donald Duck and Goofy, and his nemesis Pete.
Donald Fauntleroy Duck is a cartoon character created by the Walt Disney Company. Donald is an anthropomorphic white duck with a yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet. He typically wears a sailor shirt and cap with a bow tie. Donald is known for his semi-intelligible speech and his mischievous, temperamental, and pompous personality. Along with his friend Mickey Mouse, Donald was included in TV Guide's list of the 50 greatest cartoon characters of all time in 2002, and has earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Goofy is a cartoon character created by the Walt Disney Company. He is a tall, anthropomorphic dog who typically wears a turtle neck and vest, with pants, shoes, white gloves, and a tall hat originally designed as a rumpled fedora. Goofy is a close friend of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, and is Max Goof's father. He is normally characterized as hopelessly clumsy and dim-witted, yet this interpretation is not always definitive; occasionally, Goofy is shown as intuitive and clever, albeit in his own unique, eccentric way.
Vs. Mouse: Ultimate is an unofficial Vs. Mouse mod created by the VMU Team, and is directed by Saster and Olimac31.

Let me know if yall enjoy this kind of content :)
Scrolling past Autopause for a while in the Pibby Apocalypse section of the Options menu will reveal a secret option called "PIBBY CORRUPTED SHAKE!?", which adds an infamous effect from older versions of the titular mod that makes the camera tilt to the beat.
It's been confirmed to be collaborating with The Grieving Day in Funkin', Helluva Boss Funkin', Cartoon Corruption, and Pibby Oggy with their own respective songs.
The mod was originally made by Dayybloom/Forteni as a gift to Jakeneutron.
The mod had two previous names before the current one, being "Pibby's Plague" and "Funkin' With Pibby" (not be confused with Funkin' with Pibby! or FNF Pibby Corrupted).
The alpha update of the mod released abruptly due to a leaked build that was found a few hours before.
The mod's demo was in development for a year.
The art of the original gameplay for the mod was made by SereBeat, that later left due to not being interesting in Pibby anymore.
If the player lags enough, Finn's third alt in Come Along With Me will not appear for a while, usually resulting in an instant death due to the immense lag. This was fixed in the warmfix of the mod.
Girlfriend is not corrupted by the Darkness, but is rather watching afar and reviving boyfriend if he dies, as shown in the Game Overs.
The reason why all the death screens involve the opponents killing Boyfriend brutally was because he is completely immune to the corruption due to not being a cartoon character, so the opponents decide to kill him.
This mod is the second mod to show corrupted characters expressing other emotions outside of happiness. The first mod to do this was Battle for Corrupted Island.
One of the songs in Corruption Time, Mindless, shares its name with a song in Darkness Takeover.
This is the first mod to have more than one timer rewind in a single song, with Child's Play taking that honor, having two.

The twiddlefinger community is super talented and cool and I've only recently started to appreciate it as much as I should. I wanted to make something for the whole concept.
This song takes place after the Bad Ending from the original Twiddlefinger Mod. It's also following the interpretation of Ode to a friend by Greggreg, where Max is consumed by love so much that he takes a bite out of his friend.
Max is in grief after his conscience comes back to him slightly. His friend is gone and it's all his fault.
Inspirations
• TWIDDLEFINGER
• An Ode To A Friend
TWIDDLEFINGER is a one-shot, Aethos-inspired mod created by Gibz, who was under the alias of MAXPROLOVER988. It is based entirely on the YouTube channel Max Design Pro. The mod has two endings, the good ending and the bad ending. Both endings are available to get, determined by the player clicking the help button or not during the song.

Friday Night Funkin' is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020.[4] The game is developed by a small group consisting primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source.[a] It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[5] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.[6][7][8]
The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.[9][10] The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020.[11] An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development.[12]
