Those in regions which have received the European release on PS4/PS5 (regions including the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia) can now enjoy the game using their preferred version. Did the PS Store version of Crash Bandicoot 2 really lack analog support? This seems to introduce some issues with the distance you can reach from certain jumps.This showcases the issue from a standing start using the Duckstation emulator on the Mach Schnell course. This is just accelerating, with no boost applied.To enable this on Duckstation for the NTSC version, in the Cheat Manager - Memory Scanner add manual address 0x801e098c and set the value to 0x001E. You will want to overclock the CPU to enable it to hit this target consistently. I used 150% for this video. Infected Mode PSP on PS4 (CFW) - Resistance: Retribution andshrew 2024-03-27 | When Resistance Retribution launched as a PSP classic on PS4 and PS5 it included the option to use the Dual Shock 3 controller scheme, but it lacked the bonus "infected mode" content.Poking around with a CFW PS4, it seems that the developers of this release were testing including the infected mode. The emulator includes specific commands to enable it at run time, although there is - unsurprisingly - no way to toggle it from the user menu. It is unclear how feature complete it is, or what issues it may have.
