NX71 2023-03-28 | Incredible, the star 1 of this level in less than 4 minutes, I never thought it would be possible.
I made the 0:36 HSWK shortcut to skip some parts of the beginning like the slipery slope kicks, but this strategy doesn't work for the red coins because we skipped some and there is no way to go back.

It was a somewhat annoying star, It really took me 2 days to make this TAS, difficult angles and above all I did not know what strategies to use at the end in the lava zone, at least star 2 has the same inputs until the lava zone (3:37) so I won't have to do all that again.

NX71 2023-03-22 | I was doing this TAS since December of 2022 but I discontinued it because I had no mood, Now in March I continued it again and I found shortcuts to skip reclimbs, the most notable is 15:51.
The video has a red coin counter in case you lose the count because there are many red coins.

The route was based on @focus_sr3416 video of the theory TAS youtu.be/AFTAVrTkKfQ and I studied it to find shortcuts and new strategies to cut path and time.

And this is the 2nd time that I get the red coin star with the 120 coins in this course, the first time was in 2020 playing with savestates in project64.

Really a level with exhausting difficulty, many jumps and most of them accurate and also alternating angles, really an interesting and inspiring level for several.

SM64 Return of Wrath v0.5.0 Trailer (Release & Download)

NX71 2023-03-17 | After more than 3 years, I finish a version of SM64 Return of Wrath, I started developing in January 2020 but in 2021 I didn't do as much work because I wanted to do SM64 Lost Worlds Remake.

Later, I had the motivation to continue with this game, I still have to do the Courses 10 to 15 and Bowser's 3 Course to finish this, but at least there is enough content in this version and also the most difficult levels are finished to play and TASing.
I will complete the game with updates as a DLC.

I made the levels inspired by TWDE and Djonk, while I took as a reference to improve SM76 NE and SM64 Black Virus levels concepts to make it much less tedious, although all the maps in SM64 RoW were made from 0, patience and work, days and weeks would go by up to months on the more difficult levels as I developed, the most difficult level (only TAS) took me 4 months to do, while the level humanly possible it took me ~2 months (Course 9).

I hope you know how to value my work this time, SM76 Nightmare and Black Virus they were pretty bad concepts with a poor level design and with little time invested, over time one is becoming more aware and maturing, learning more and more from their mistakes while the past is left behind.

The music was a work of patience and search, I did not know and doubted what music would have this level or the other, but in the end I found good music for the levels.

In this video you gonna see a Very Powerful Red Orange Laser that I buy from Aliexpress a few weeks ago and I promise that I will make a video of this product.

The laser is called: 638T-500-F-W, is a Class IV (4) 700mW with a wavelength (nm) of 638nm (red-orange) color that is much more visible than the 650nm red lasers.
The laser is from China and it took 22 days to arrive in Chile, the package and its contents are intact, it was a good service.

The laser is very Bright! (recommended to use safety glasses), and is very good to burn, the only bad thing is the dot divergence that is not the best but not very bad, with a good fit it can be used over long-short distances or to burn.

Personal Opinion:
The laser is very awesome and good, incredible visibility but a not good divergence, its visibility is so much for a red laser that can be compared with a 100mW 532nm green laser or a 1500mW 450nm blue laser that I will show later in the video.

My rating:
Design: 9.5/10, (is much better and a better finish than the model 900 laser.
it's a not a very big laser, is 16cm long, but high power.
Power: 9.5/10 (is very close to the Wicked Lasers Inferno of ~820mW)
Visibility: 9.2/10 (for a red laser is incredibly visible but if it weren't for the slightly bad divergence, this would be better)
Dot Divergence: 4.9/10 (rectangular at long distances)
My Final Rating: 8.5/10

Battery Required and Direction:
Required 1x18650 (no flat top)
Direction: Positive '+' to tail top and the Negative '-' to spring.
I recommend using a +2500mAh 18650 battery to have more duration and power time.

Working Time: ~45 seconds on, ~15 seconds off

SM64 Return of Wrath Eternal Lethality Star 1 (Preview) [TAS]

NX71 2023-01-01 | My hardest and best level that I make in this game, 4 months of developing and a concept that I have been studying and thinking about since 2020, the level is based in the most difficulty maps of TWDE like Final Tragedy (C15) and Everlasting Encore, also based on Djonk's Junk Strange Sands and the hardest levels in SM64 The Black Virus.

during this time after finishing SM64 The Black Virus in January of 2020 and make various TASes of very hard levels like in TWDE, I have reflected enough, how the terrible and bad design big and bored maps has Black Virus, I have learned a lot about measurements in Sketchup, strategies, obstacles to put in the levels, the variety of things to not do something so monotone.

And I apologize if I ever get mad at someone insulting Black Virus, he really is right because is a bad game, but don't be so toxic please, value the effort that someone puts into something, reflect please, and be a good person.

And something else not mentioned, This level is designed only for TASers,this is not humanly possible.

Note: This TAS is not very optimized, this star can be beaten possibly under 9 minutes, I make this TAS only to have a preview of the level and the star.

This is the Star 1 of this level called Eternal Lethality, the last level in the game, you need 120 stars to access and have the 3 caps unlocked, this is the preview only for Star 1, the level has much more over there, more strategies, obstacles that you will probably see in a DEMO release in a near future, (THE LEVEL IS COMPLETELY FINISHED, so there will be no more changes in this, so if I release a DEMO you can make a TAS of the Stars in this level without a problem.)

I forgot to mention that this level is at the limit of polygons and vertices, I really couldn't export anymore because SM64 Editor it gives me a limit error.

Also this level has the hardest Star in the game, the red coins Star who has 31 red coins distributed throughout the level with some reclimbs, with an estimated duration of 1 hour and 5 minutes in a optimized TAS.

My experience as a creator:
I really feel proud of myself, my mom is surprised at this level, my cousins, totally is a great creation, finally i make a good thing after the bad games that i do in the past, I really have self esteem in good shape, my mental health has improved, editing and making complex custom levels in Super Mario 64 It has taken away my thoughts of death, it's a good distraction, but there are weeks of demotivation and inactivity.

Notes and description as a creator in some parts of the level:
0:10 the level start, you need a perfect frame jump to avoid the quicksand to start the level, is hard to do but is more easy if you down the fps of the game.
1:36 hard wallkick angles, about 50~ rerecords
2:12 firsties
2:28 very hard and precice slope kicks, about 170 rerecords
3:28 more perfect frame wallkicks ~80 rerecords
4:49 one of the most complex sections, is required around more than ~51 firsties to cross the zone of the walls and make +70 SPD to climb up
~180 rerecords
6:29 totally hard hexagons slopes to make a very precise wallkicks to pass the area, you have to keep more than ~59 SPD about 320~ rerecords
8:30 Lava Boost VSC (Vertical Speed Conservation)
9:13 Super thiny and precise wallkicks, for me the hardest part of this star, about ~400 rerecords, Mario gets bugged and sometimes it doesn't jump as if it hit a invisible ceiling glitch, it was really annoying to beat that part.

A level with a high difficulty, although I managed to avoid quite jumps, metal cap lava bounces and qlsg using hswks and wing cap shortucts and strats that I discovered studying the level in about 2-3 days.

on this day, i dont like the level design, is black virus in a nutshell, a big level with only firsties, big platforms associated with that, quicksand jumps, shell ride and some lava bounces that are not hard because there is enough lava to bounce and not a path so short to hinder the player with an extreme position to find the bounce.

NX71 2022-08-04 | update: this laser pointer was death today 7 oct 2022, i buy this laser on january of 2022, i never tamper with it, I didn't use it more than 25~ seconds in a row, really a low quality diode apparently.

new phone, its a motorola g50, cheap and quality, in this vid i recorded one of my favorite lasers pointers in my collection, a ~+300mW 650nm red laser.

I am surprised since in the video the light beam appears to be quite visible in the camera but in real life it's not like that.
