The Outlast Trials - Escalation Therapy (10 Trials Survived)greg2024-11-02 | This was a very fun and unexpected experience, I don't think I've ever played something that made me feel the way I did while playing this.
There'll definitely be more videos of this game to come.

honestly, out of all the deltarune no-hits i wanted to do, this was the one i was most scared of at first. but once i got into it, i realized the boss really isn't that bad. most of the attacks are pretty consistent and straightforward, except for one (yeah, i’m looking at you, star attack). so it actually didn’t take me long to get into it.
with that being said, this is still easily the hardest boss to no-hit in the game. but it’s also kinda fun, so i can definitely see myself revisiting it in the future for some extra challenges.
(btw i did this on the same day as my spamton neo no-hits, which i thought was pretty nice)DELTARUNE - Spamton NEO (Pacifist/Snowgrave No-Hit)greg2025-07-23 | THE POWER OF CGTON NEO!
spamton neo (both pacifist and snowgrave routes) are by far the easiest no-hits in the game, so i decided to spice them up a bit with two challenges. for pacifist spamton neo, i fought him while he’s enraged (i made a small mod that forces him to be enraged at the beginning of the fight and at max damage). and for snowgrave, i did the fight without using x-slash, since it makes the fight super short and honestly kinda lame otherwise.
in terms of difficulty, snowgrave no x-slash was definitely harder than jevil no-hit for me. maybe i just suck at yellow soul, but this shit took me at least twice as long as jevil to pull off.
huge thanks to @Nephryte for helping me a lot with this fight and for making an incredible thumbnail for this videoDELTARUNE - Jevil (No-Hit)greg2025-06-20 | i know this is like not hard AT ALL but this took me like 3 hours and i was lowkey really proud of it so here you go

also thank you @Nephryte for telling me about some strats that massively helped me with this fight
game link: gamejolt.com/games/fnacbetter/729972The Outlast Trials - Distribute the Medicine (Trial Maker / A+)greg2025-04-26 | With the release of Season 3 in The Outlast Trials, we finally got the long-awaited Trial Maker, which allows players to choose any of the available trials in the game and customize them with variators of their choice—albeit with some limitations.
A good friend of mine (@Nephryte) created an absolutely malevolent Stash the Contraband trial, dubbed Distribute the Medicine. It features some truly evil variator combinations, such as Level One and Limited Inventory II, which restricts you to just one inventory slot; Psychosurgery and Enraged Enemies, which make the enemies as brutal as they come; and, of course, Jaeger, meaning the new Jaeger ex-pop will be stalking you for the entire duration of the trial. Honestly, when I saw this monstrosity being created, I was a little scared to even try it—but after realizing I was almost at 500 completed trials, I figured I should just go ahead and do it for my 500th trial.
As for my experience with the trial, it honestly wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. That said, I think I got pretty lucky with some of the barrel spawns on the attempt I beat it—so who am I to judge?
If you're brave enough to give this trial a shot, here's the Trial Code: V0MTTRCHLAYOVLWVUZMC
Incredible thumbnail courtesy of @NephryteThe Outlast Trials - Kill the Snitch (Introductory/Solo) Speedrun in 5:40greg2025-03-24 | Thank you DJ Swamp Izzo for blessing me with good RNG!
Despite what I said in my Kill the Snitch A+ video, I've actually come to really enjoy this trial. My main issue with it back then was that I didn't understand how the key spawning worked, but after figuring it out, the trial became infinitely more fun to play. After achieving a sub 10 minute time on Standard, I decided to see how much lower I could push my time on Introductory. Getting it down to the 6:30 range was light work; however, once I got a sub 6:10 time, I decided it was time to grind for sub 6:00... and oh boy, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. To make a long story short, achieving this time was an absolutely horrendous experience for one main reason: restarting a trial in this game takes an absurd amount of time. The fastest way to do it is by leaving the trial, waiting through a loading screen, starting the trial while sitting through what is essentially an unskippable cutscene, getting into the trial shuttle, waiting through another loading screen, enduring yet another minute-long unskippable cutscene, and then FINALLY you get another attempt at the trial. Absolutely riveting stuff! Especially in a run that is completely reliant on RNG. So yeah, this is about as much Outlast Trials speedrunning content as you're going to get on this channel. I'm not interested in attempting something like this in any other trial, let alone trying to improve my time, so that's it for now.The Outlast Trials - Cleanse the Orphans (Solo/Psychosurgery/A+)greg2025-02-06 | Sorry for the slight delay!

Anyways, here are my thoughts: This was kind of annoying to do, specifically because of the keys. Sometimes you get lucky and find a key you want immediately; other times you have to run around the map like three times over just to realize you glossed over one room where the exact key you wanted was in. The ending of this trial is also brutal; I died there multiple times on runs that were well over 20 minutes long. I also accidentally beat this without recording on my first try, which didn't help with my slight annoyance with this trial.

SPECIAL THANKS: @Nephryte @Karubeften The Outlast SubredditOutlast - No Out of Bounds Speedrun in 39:13.99greg2024-10-21 | I really love this game, and I've never really done a proper speedrun of it, so I decided to do finally one.
This run is not perfect, there are a lot of stupid mistakes (you will see them), but I just wanted to beat the game in under 40 minutes without using out of bounds glitches. This was my 2nd full run and I'm pretty happy with it, so I'm uploading it here.
(If you're wondering why the timer in the video ends earlier than it should, I don't know either. I guess the autosplitter was broken or something)

Jokes aside, this was kind of annoying to do. Not because it's hard or anything, but because of the amount of unskippable cutscenes you're forced to sit through every time you want to start a run. Besides that, this wasn't too bad. I definitely have more of an appreciation for this game now after playing it more, but I still think that Outlast and Outlast: Whistleblower are overall way better games.

really good game. pretty easy, but really fun max mode! i would highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in max modes. hell, i'd recommend this game to anyone who's interested in fangames, it's just a really cool and charming game.

this one was an exception, but mostly due to nuance, with this minigame in particular being ridiculously rng for what it is.
also it's technically no errors, no shutdowns and no spoils but that's too long to fit neatly within the title.

this mode is very good, like very very good, like the best max mode i've ever played type of good, it's the most well balanced mode there is and it's insanely fun and consistent. learning this mode is kind of like a puzzle in a way, at first it can seem overwhelming and confusing, but once you get the hang of it and the pieces fall into place it's actually hard to stop playing.
if you're good enough for it, i definitely recommend trying out this mode and if you're not, just play oblitus casa if you haven't already! seriously, this is the best fnaf fan game there is and i doubt there'll be one as good as this for a loong while.
i'm also the 4th person in the world to beat this mode, so yeah that's cool.
thanks nephryte for the pnm drawing

so yeah, this is probably the hardest night 6 i've played in any fnaf fangame. to beat this you need to not only be pretty fast but know exactly all the paths mickmick can take. however, once you know how mickmick works on this night it becomes very consistent.
as i've said before, this game is probably one of my favorite fnaf fan games that has come out in recent memory and i could not recommend it enough.
game link: gamejolt.com/games/OblitusCasa/356260Oblitus Casa 2.0 - Slender (Hard Mode)greg2023-10-01 | (filler video, but i like the game so whatever) so oblitus casa 2.0 just out and i can definitely say it's probably one of the best fangames i've ever played.
about this specific challenge, though, this mode basically takes slender the eight pages and puts it in the tunnels area of oblitus casa (an insanely impressive feat on clickteam that i honestly don't quite know how they managed to pull off). unlike the eight pages, this slender is actually fair and fun to play compared to the buggy rng mess of the original and i would go as far as to say that it's leagues above the slender in both the eight pages and arrival (although those games weren't very good to begin with, so what do i know).
anyways, i played really badly in this footage, but at least i beat it.

the best way i can describe this mode is that it's really stressful, you have to always be on point and never let your guard down for a second, which makes this a true test of nerves.
the good thing about this mode is that it's basically all skill and there's no luck involved as far as i'm aware. it's definitely harder skill-wise than something like 50/20 however it's definitely not harder than 50/20 to me.Ultimate Custom Night - 50/20 Modegreg2023-06-02 | to me this feels like one of the hardest things i've ever achieved in any game. i know it's been like 5 years since the game came out and this mode is considered easy now but this took me so long and i told myself countless times that this was impossible. i honestly can't believe that i actually pulled through with it.
now, i could say a lot of things about my experience with this and the best way i could describe it is that it's an absolutely frustrating experience that is also very addicting. when i first got to this mode, it genuinely felt impossible and too overwhelming to bear and for the first few days i just bashed against a wall dying at the first 20 seconds for hours on end. eventually, i was able to consistently get to the nerve-wracking part but it can be especially painful when it's completely random whether you actually get through or not. a lot of the times i would get a good start but one or two things simply wouldn't line up properly due to rng and i would have to restart. having that happen so many times genuinely made this feel hopeless to me, just constantly dying and dying and dying to the same things without a sign of any progress.
it didn't help that on one of the first times that i made it to the nerve-wracking part, i nearly fluked the entire night, however i managed to forget the music box on the last 15 seconds. after that, i proceeded to spend 2 more hours endlessly restarting over and over again, it feels really horrible knowing that you're close to achieving something and that you could do it any attempt but still keep endlessly dying for hours on end.
but even with all that, i think this experience was absolutely worth it in the end.
