Draco collects many things and Hot Wheels is one of them. When a strange car comes around Draco usually picks it up for his collection. This time around he's waited until GatorUNbox to open up some of his finds as well as cars that people have given to him as gifts.
Among the cars showcased here are a Thor car with a moving hammer, a Bowser Mario Kart car, a Toy Story Rex car, and a Hot Wheels you can clip a GoPro onto!

Robot Squad Simulator 2017 for the Nintendo Switch was released, as you might imagine, in 2019. Yep. It's a port of a crappy PC game and the developers didn't even bother to lop off the year despite the game releasing on the Switch a full two years later.
This is a simulation game where you drive a bomb disposal robot tasked with, you know, disarming and disposing of bombs. The controls are complicated and make use of everything on the Switch controller. Draco struggles with the tutorial but eventually gets the hang of it. He completes a few missions before things get too samey and eventually finds a copy of the game inside the game as a bonus item.

Meccano is a type of building toy that's been around forever. There are many imitators, or rather there have been many imitators, but Meccano is the oldest brand. The original Meccano sets let you build bridges and skyscrapers but now they sell little packs at Dollar Tree and this race car is one such pack. The parts are tiny, there's a lot of plastic, and Draco struggles to get everything together. But when he does he's let down by a dinky car that pales in comparison to what's on the box.

Coming in hot is another pack of viewer mail packages! A lot of these ones come from AliExpress/Wish since the bags are labeled in Chinese and of course there's another grab bag filled with smaller bags including some straggler lapel pins from the previous viewer mail unbox and a bootleg keychain katana.
There's a Zahando box with some cassette tapes and video games, and community member okayness4 also sends in some adorable stuff and a heartfelt trinket to bring Draco up.

Draco has finally reached the last circuit. One race, a showdown with Rocket Racer himself on Rocket's special track. Can Draco do it? Will he be able to harness the power of the track's instant warp to play dirty just like Rocket? Will Draco say swear words when he loses? The answer is most likely!

With the help of stream chat Draco is able to find the shortcut on the asteroid track. It barely keeps him out of 6th place because the whole "only get super turbos" strategy doesn't seem to work in the later circuits. That won't stop Draco from trying, however.
Still, he brute forces his way through the circuit for second place overall and advances into the final circuit where Rocket Racer awaits in the final showdown race of the game!

We have it on good authority that there actually are shortcuts in these courses, Draco just doesn't know where they are because he sucks at the game. Somehow against all odds he's still able to advance through the circuits with brute force alone as he does in this segment that features another pack of backwards tracks.

By chat request Draco tries to build a Batmobile in Lego Racers. Unfortunately since he hasn't been winning 1st place in any circuits he's not unlocking new frames for cars so the only chassis the rocket engine will fit on is the medieval chariot with big "Oregon Trail" wheels. If you suspend your disbelief it's a great C+ Batmobile.
Circuit #4 is actually the tracks from circuit #1 just reversed, so the second half of this playthrough will be tracks we've already seen just done the other way around. What a way to pad gameplay!

Draco continues to struggle with Lego Racers as he enters the third circuit of the game. Due to Lego Racers' lack of rubberbanding AI the "track champion" of each course winds up pulling way into first place to an unbeatable extent leaving Draco to scrape up, at best, a second place finish in each course.

Draco may have finished first overall in the first circuit but after that Lego Racers amps up the difficulty immediately. This is just the second circuit and Draco is already having to restart after finishing in 6th place on the first race. The track leader for this circuit is King Kahuna, a caricature of tribal natives that we're sure has aged just perfectly well.
This section starts out with Draco building a car that Twitch chat wanted to see, the Red Copper Pan car!

Lego Racers is a kart racing game for the Nintendo 64, PS1, and PC. This particular version is on the N64. Draco picked this one out of his childhood collection because he and Reflex used to play it a whole lot even if neither of them were particularly good at it. That's a gamble because we like to finish games here on Gatorbox and Draco even says he's never beaten this game before. Not a good sign.
Draco completes the first circuit of the game in a custom car he built to look like the A-Team van. More custom cars to be had as well as lots of frustration as Draco faces an old foe in the form of Lego Racers!

Draco is back with another pack of random trading cards to unbox! Up first is a streamer's choice from the Prize-O-Matic so Draco settles on the unfortunately named "Race Cards" which are actually just collectible race car cards. It was a different time back when these were printed.
Also on deck is a pack of Jurassic Park III cards and despite Draco not liking the movie there are some admittedly cool cards in there. And of course the last unbox is an old friend: Nasty Tricks. We've opened plenty of these on the channel in the past and best of all it comes with OLD GUM!

In the conclusion to our Mafa GAME HELL Draco wraps up with yet another pony pregnancy game because these are literally a dime a dozen on the website. There's also a vampire dating game featuring Elsa from Frozen and a copy of the Mulan game with Santa Claus in the operating room instead.
But perhaps the shining jewel of this GAME HELL collection is the brain surgery game. It's everything we remember from Mafa and is the perfect send off as we retire this collection on Gatorbox.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is a re-release of the Xbox 360 title of the same name just with all of its extras and DLC included on the cartridge. It's a lengthy JRPG with over a hundred hours of gameplay if you're set on collecting all of the character titles and other secrets in the game. It's not a bad game, a good story to get invested in and a battle system that's pretty easy to pick up and understand after a few goes.
Draco breaks out the Prismacolors to sketch up a replacement cover for this game and finds inspiration in the strangest of places. WIthout revealing what he draws let's just say it's like a "Before and After" puzzle on Wheel of Fortune.

Look, this upload is way shorter than last years! We cut out a lot of those pesky "WORLD PREMIERES" and saved on time and still had room to include some fun jump cuts. Also not a single award was skipped over in this edit so if you missed The Game Awards and you're just now seeing it in your Gatorbox subscription feed of all places you can get the same information from this video as you would out of the 3 hour marathon of advertisements.
Highlights of this year include Christopher Judge giving a seven minute award speech (which is truncated here of course) and Bill Clinton getting shoutouts from a kid who expertly infiltrated the awards show and embarrassed Geoff Keighley.

We seem to only dust off this playlist for The Game Awards, but it's as good of an excuse as any to get some mileage out of a nearly abandoned section of this channel.
2022 was "a year of gaming" if you want to call it that and like clockwork the 9th annual Game Awards show came and went. Before the show starts Draco pulls up this year's nominees for games and esports and runs through each award critiquing the games and people involved with them. Here's a spoiler: he's not enthused about any of them aside from Shredder's Revenge.

Because this is a Wii game here is yet another collection of daft minigames with motion controls and yeah most of them feel broken or don't work correctly. Six Flags Fun Park is an absolute disaster of a game with some of the ugliest character designs we've ever seen on the show. Even worse you can't even play all the minigames because you have to earn tickets and tokens.
In a weird twist it's kinda like that Universal Studios Theme Park Adventure game, which we also have streamed stay tuned for that, in that rather than collect and throw away garbage for points you have to dig through the garbage to find tokens to play the games with.
But hey at least it came with a free admission ticket to Six Flags.

This is the last part of the Coolbaby 2 GAME HELL (for now) so we're making it last. Up first is a Pinocchio RPG... in Chinese! Draco at least tries to see if he can accomplish anything in the game but thanks to the language barrier he achieves literally nothing. There's also the NES classic "Skinhead Fighter" which definitely isn't a romhack of a Technos Japan title.
The romhacks don't stop with "Male Lover Eon Man" and a Jungle Book romhack that Draco probably shouldn't have started up. There's also a completely broken bootleg Mega Man X game made from hacking an existing bootleg that Draco can't remember the name of. Best of all though there's a slew of Pokemon bootlegs in this part!

$2,647.
That's how much money we raised this year. A phenomental turnout that increased over last year, and last year was a slam dunk! That's a great amount of money and it's all going towards helping sick children in need. Remember, even if you didn't donate directly during the marathon you're still helping out by watching and enjoying our YouTube content; all of the ad revenue from the Extra Life videos is collected and donated to kick off next year's marathon!
Thank you all so much for coming out and rocking these donations hard. Thank you for making this our best Extra Life ever for the third year in a row! And most importantly thank you for contributing to a cause that I am very passionate about. As I always say it is my hope that with the money we raise during these marathons that Driscoll Children's Hospital can do for another family what they did for mine.

It took us a couple of years to find this game but once we did it's become a tradition to end our marathons with a rousing game of Bible Buffet, a religious video game by Wisdom Tree that actually isn't all that bad? It plays out like a game of Candy Land with characters moving around on the game board but each square on the game board is actually a two screen action stage where the objective is to collect the most food for your food pantry.
It's surprisingly playable and now Draco has a PDF of the quiz book so he can play along for real and answer bible trivia questions. How many gold stars will he get this year?

CHALLENGE: Clear adventure 2.
Unwilling to let the marathon challenges end on Black Jack we got a generous donation from MrHadesFlame that gave us one more to draw. It's also an Atari 2600 game, but this one's a good one. It's Adventure, the first, uh, adventure game.
Adventure has three game modes. 1 and 2 feature items in specific layouts while 3 uses the map system of 2 and randomizes all the locations. This challenge is the easier of the two advanced ones and just requires Draco to beat adventure 2. That doesn't stop him from potentially softlocking the game and getting trolled to hell by the bat enemy however.

Black Jack was featured last year as a challenge and the goal was to get $500. Draco failed at that, so lord knows he's going to fail this one which requires getting $1,000 to break the bank and "beat" this game. It's all random chance essentially. Draco gets a few BJ's but the AI in this game cheats. We're convinced of it. Also there's no such thing as a "push" so the computer wins all ties.

Nintendo's popular high speed racing game got its start as a launch title for the Super NES and received installments on each successive console until the Gamecube for North American audiences.

Dig Dug is an arcade classic by Namco. It might not be as popular as Pac-Man but few things can say they are. The goal of Dig Dug is to eliminate all of the enemies on the screen to advance to the next level. Enemies get higher in number as well as faster as levels progress. The key to winning is luring enemies near you and then dropping the rocks on them. Draco has no Dig Dug skills, needless to say.
The challenge is to score 50,000 points and Draco is able to get a little less than half of that. Not enough for even consolation awards.

CHALLENGE: Beat level 2.
Don't let the box art fool you, Kendo Rage is VERY anime. It's so anime-esque that we're genuinely surprised it was even localized for a North American release; normally this stuff was locked to Japan only. Maybe the publisher saw something in it that we didn't? This is an action platformer where you can charge up your weapon power by holding back on the button mashing. This allows for some advanced strategies for dealing more damage to enemies and bosses.
Draco breezes through the first level but the difficulty turns up quite a bit for level 2. It takes a few tries but he eventually gets the hang of the way of the kendo and nails another win.

CHALLENGE: Clear the Mushroom Cup.
The long-running Mario Kart game series all started with this little excursion on the Super NES, Super Mario Kart. It introduced so many of the mechanics that are still present in the game today such as the items, characters, and actions such as hopping and drifting. It's a bit rough around the edges due to its age but the kart racer is still a solid play even 30 years after its release.
The goal of this challenge is to complete the Mushroom Cup in first place. After a bad start Draco resets and manages to tough out a win overall. Sure he stops the timer early but that's because he forgot there are five tracks in a cup instead of just four. Darn Mario Kart 8 mechanics!

CHALLENGE: Reunite with an "old friend" in 2029.
Draco has been on a roll with these challenges, viewers believed the hot chip from the MC Kids run gave him supergamer powers from his near death experience. But this is the game where it all comes crashing down, a messy platformer by the name of The Terminator. Draco takes the reins of John Connor and fights off the T-800 menace (or rather, he fights off the ones who don't just jump into pits themselves).
The goal here is to reach a certain point in the game where an "old friend" awaits, the old friend being the SUPER TRUCK from the T2 arcade game. It's a minor in-joke on this channel. Draco fails to reach the truck because he is defeated by machine guns laying on the ground firing on their own.

Snow White is a public domain thing so it's fair game for whoever wants to take a swing at it. Filmation weren't as successful as Disney, but at least they got a game deal out of it.
This game is a visual mess. It's incredibly loud. It's also a platforming game with fall damage. The level exit doesn't open until you collect enough coins and this isn't conveyed to the player so Draco spends time jumping around trying to figure out what the hell is going on with this game.

It's become tradition around here for Draco to do some sort of "challenge" while playing M.C. Kids. It started with eating cheeseburgers on every death, then it became a round robin of different dipping sauces for McNuggets. It eventually ballooned into Draco eating spicy things and now it's come to this: the One Chip Challenge.
The idea was for Draco to eat something extremely spicy to see how it affects his gameplay (and then eat cheeseburgers whenever he died) but around 30 minutes into the run Draco starts to really regret what he's done...

It was also developed by the same company that produced the Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures series.

The reason why we haven't featured this adorable gator game more often on a channel called "Gatorbox" is because some of the bosses are tricky and losing to them is a massive time loss in the run. It makes doing speedruns of this game rather tricky because you can easily sink 5-10 minutes into a zone only to be sent all the way back to the beginning!
But Draco practiced this game and came into it with strategies he developed with the help of the community, like finding an easy strat for the final boss and a strat for the bird boss that doesn't appear to work as intended because Draco almost dies. In any case enjoy the adventures of Charly the cute gator!

Dynamite Headdy is one of the longer games of the marathon taking about an hour to beat. Longer, actually, because Draco can't help but screw up the final boss and burn up all of his continues and risk ruining the run. He practiced this game too if you can believe it.
Normally the Japanese version of this game is played with an English translation patch because the North American localization team gutted the story of Dynamite Headdy. However this time the NA version is played for one major reason: Twin Freaks. Most of the bosses in the NA version have more health than their Japanese counterparts with only one exception. Twin Freaks' level is a nightmare and due to some adjustments to the hitbox of the boss in the NA version it actually has substantially less health in this version of the game.

The last time we saw this Barney game on stream it was a game challenge with the objective to "beat the game with no input". More or less a pushover challenge but one that was included for the memes because yes, you can "beat" this game without pressing a single button. It's a baby game for babies. It's BARNEY.
Draco demonstrates his ability to beat this game using only the powers of his mind and completes it in a few minutes.
