Win & Team | Wishes [+1x05 Between Us] Lacrima 2022-12-08 | Every week I can just repeat how much I adore the show and I already had high expectations since Until we meet Again is in my Top 5 All time BLs but watching this show feels like the writers maybe listened to some critism regarding other BLs before making the show - the continued consent, them just napping together without actually having sex because Win knows that's not what Team needs in that vulnerable state, them constantly communicating and ACTUALLY talking about what they want and how they both aren't ready for a relationship and need time but both knowing it will eventually lead to a serious relationship... idk the communication part is my favorite and I almost teared up when I watched that scene in Ep 5 when they talked to each other on the bed and the whole speech Win made about not having anyone else until Team doesn't want or need him anymore???:,( Made me both happy (since it was honest, reassuring and romantic) but also sad since it seems like that's a reacurring theme with Win actually being insecure, and being scared to catch feelings, get too close and eventually get left and hurt because he's not enough. :( In the preview for the next episode that seems to be the case as well. Looks like almost losing Team by drowning will freak out Win because he'll realize how much he actually loves Team already and he'll be terrified to be in that vulnerable position where he could lose Team and get hurt. What I also really like is that at least so far, there wasn't really big miscommunication or unnessecary misunderstandings which was sooo refreshing to watch. The Preview for Ep 4 made us think that Team will overhear Win talking to his friends, misunderstand and feel hurt since he didn't listen to the entire conversation which will lead to conflict and a fight but NO: 'Between Us the Series' decided to throw away that cliche and that plotpoint(?) that literally 95% of BL's do ALL the time just to have more "Plot" and be able to make more "interesting" Episodes and that can get quiet annoying and frustrating because as a viewer you're always just like "goddamnit Characters plss just TALK to each other!")Instead, Team overhearing that Conversation made him think about their relationship himself and actually question and reflect on what they ARE and what he's feeling. I don't know- I really liked that the show decided to go with this. I adore both Win and Team so much and both are such green flags and I honestly could watch the whole show with just fluffy, happy and cute moments haha, I just enjoy seeing Boun and Prem on Screen together. I want to see even more of soft Win (Honestly, the Horror Movie Scene was my favorite so far), and I want to see more of Team showing Win that he actually likes him and is not just annoyed by him lol. Win and Team as a couple is like "When Home is another person" and I think that's beautiful. :,)I hope that besides that upcoming conflict in Ep 6 there won't be anymore between both characters because so far the show did an incredible job showing that conflicts or fights between the characters isn't necessary, instead one or both characters can have problems/trauma etc. that have nothing to do with their partner, and try to heal from that WITH the help and support from their partner. I prefer this over, for example, one character catching the other cheating and then it comes out they didn't actually cheat, (or they did which is worse; I absolutely despise the Cheating Trope) and we get like 3 unecessary episodes of them fighting, being distant from each other etc. until the "truth" comes out and they get together again. (I hope I won't eat my words when future episodes come out haha)Am I the only one that felt like the show is such a breath of fresh air in comparism to many other BLs so far? :)Hope you liked this edit! I guess : "explosive" main part if that makes sense? But I do adore Calumn Scott's Music)plus, I was scared because of copyright and getting a strike, since someone back then warned me about Semantic Error Edits getting deleted because of copyright (if I remember correctly) on my community tab, but I wanna know if people might still be interested in a 'Semantic Error' Edit and if I should finish this or not? Because for example with Kinnporsche, which I am still very much obsessed with, it seems like a lot of people that watched the show lost interest in watching edits of it since it finished months ago, and I know views aren't everything, but in the end, I upload my edits to get comments to feel happy about haha, so it's obviously more nice if an edit gets more views and therefore more comments. :D So question is: are you guys still interested in seeing edits of the show or not?
Win & Team | Holy [+1x03 Between Us] Lacrima 2022-11-21 | I fell in love with this song as soon as I've watched the 2nd Season of Young Royals so I really wanted to use it for an edit because it gives me goosebumps. :,)I absolutely adored the 3rd episode of Between Us, I think it's my favorite so far. And I fell in love even more with Win after, because we got to see soft, cuddly sleepy Win, it honestly almost made me cry to see him like that- I love him so much and he deserves all the HUGS AND CUDDLES. :,)Just 3 episodes are out and I am already very much obsessed with Win&Team and the chemistry between them. They just belong together. And I know it sounds corny and cringy and I even feel uncomfortable saying that, but their "one night stand" or their "first"/"second" time with "no strings attached" literally looks like 'making love' - like I said, I cringe using that term but it is true. It really seems like they are already in love, and like they need to breath each other in or touch each other to SURVIVE it's UNREAL and intense. Win & Team | Lips on You [+1x02 Between Us] Lacrima 2022-11-20 | Yay, I managed to upload this before Episode 3 dropped today lol. Otherwise it would've been weird to upload it after when it doesn't include any scenes from the newest episode. Let's just say I hate this edit and I feel like as a viewer you might even sense it? but idk maybe I am just reaching. I honestly LOVED the last episode and the last scene where they're making out in the lockerroom - people who have been following this channel for a while, know how much of a fan I am of heavy breathing in Kiss/NC Scenes, when the background music doesn't cover up all the sounds, makes it more intense and realistic. I absolutely adore how Team and Win always talk between kisses, making sure it's what they both want, the consent and them basically breathing each other in when they're not kissing as if it physically hurts them to NOT touch or kiss each other. :,) Their Chemistry is fantastic.Now why I hate this edit: First, the background sounds??? Episode 2 was way more horrible in that regards than episode 1, everytime their characters talked, there was also loud background sounds or music which sucks as an editor because you can't remove the annoying background sounds without having to cut out them talking as well and it IS REALLY FRUSTRATING. Some shows I have with 5 Channels(?) where all the different sounds are divided in different audio files which is really helpful, but for Between us, I only have the screenrecording I did. Second reason why I hate this edit is that it's hard to work with coloring since more than half of winteams scenes are super dark and the other half are super bright, so either half the video looks way too white, or the other half is so dark you can't see anything. I know I could adjust every clip individually with the liqhting but I don't have time for that lol.Third of all...idk I just don't like the edit in general, I thought that from the start when I edited it and maybe I made the edit worse since my mindset was just "I hate this, I just need to finish this and then never look at this again" so I didn't put that much care into it especially in the end, I feel like. :(Since the song has again a lot of beats, while watching it seems like I didn't edit to match the beats/rhythm of the song, even though I did. (But I was also drunk like half of the time I was editing to force myself to finish it, so maybe that's why it seems off at some moments) I also got covid days ago, so that's also a reason I was struggling to finish this edit haha.Yeah... glad I finished it still, and in my experience oftentimes when I really despise an edit of mine, viewers don't feel the same way, so I'll upload it anyways. :) There is a glitch at the 1:59 mark, I am sorry about that but I had trouble rendering the edit and I don't want to do it again just to fix that small mistake. Win & Team | Brividi [+1x01 Between Us] Lacrima 2022-11-08 | I still have some Kinnporsche/VegasPete & even YoungRoyals Edit started but I felt like it would be lowkey weird if I didnt upload a Between Us Edit first, since Win/Boun has been my Profile Picture for almost 3 years and "Until We meet Again was my all time 2nd BL Drama/Thai Show I've watched. :,)I am too tired to write a lot tbh, this edit really sucks haha since they don't have that many scenes yet and like 2/3 of their scenes in Ep 1 is the NC/Kiss Scene which was great by the way, the sexual tension was really evident between the characters and I loved it a lot. But as an editor I really wanted to make an edit of the first episode but if you just end up basically posting the scene with music in the background it's not really editing if that makes sense? LMAO, so I tried to switch between scenes before but basically during the last minute I had no choice other than to just focus the edit on the hooking up scene since it's just the first episode and they barely have any interactions before that. :,)I can say that I absolutely adored the "consent" scene where Win makes sure that Team isn't drunk and asks him many questions, I know it IS the BARE MINIMUM but I am used to other stuff in Thai BL so I am so freaking glad it seemed like people listened to us and made sure to make it obvious there is/was consent before NC Scenes. :,) Makes it way more hot and sexy btw. Because "Between Us" finally came out, I ended up watching lots of "Until We meet Again" Edits again and made myself sad haha. :,)I missed the friendship between Team, Manaow and Pharm and I am super happy to see them together on screen again. :D
Vegas Theerapanyakul | Houndin [Kinnporsche] Lacrima 2022-10-26 | Little Disclaimer: Obviously TW because it's my problematic son Vegas, and also, this edit literally just shows his bad and villain side, and no soft moments or backstory on why he acts the way he does. (Prime example of "the Abused turns into the Abuser")But I do find it really fun to watch edits about Villains or Psychopaths so I lowkey felt like making such an edit about Vegas. Plus, Bible is such an amazing and outstanding actor and it's fun to see him as Vegas in contrast on how calm and soft spoken he is in real life. As always, it's rather simple - I planned to use effects and sudden zoom in's etc. because this particular song has a lot of beats(?) and it's almost impossible to fit the clips in a way where it matches the beat because if I would do that, the clips would be wayyy too short haha, but I ended up AGAIN not using effects because I just wanted the edit to be finished already. So... as usual I have already like 10 different Kinnporsche edits started but then I decided to start ANOTHER one which I actually managed to finish lol. Thing is, during lockdown I had the time to edit for 10+ hours straight and because of work I obviously don't have the time to spend more than 2 hours editing at a time, and I usually only end up finishing the edit projects when I finish it in one go. :,) But I have two edits that are at least halfway finished, one Porsche edit (Humor + Fight Scenes) and one edit about the show in general. (Also mainly action scenes haha) I really do want to make at least 1 Kinn & Porsche edit BUT selecting and cutting out scenes is the thing that takes the longest and is the least fun, and it already took so long with VegasPete even though they obviously don't have as many scenes as Kinn&Porsche. :( I also really crave to make an edit about Pete as a character because he is my Number 1 Character in the show and I have been obsessed with him since he grinned at Vegas during the Torture Scene to mock him. He deserves an edit just about HIM. :,)You all probably already moved on from the show, but I started watching it just when Episode 12 came out so it hasn't been as long for me yet lol. And if you know me, you also know I rarely move on quickly from a show I like, and I also don't want to. I do still watch other BL's and kdramas on the side, but still nothing comes close to Kinnporsche & I also really like the whole cast and catching up on what they're doing. I am just praying to get new projects from the KP Actors soon, especially a new BibleBuild Project, give me the serial killer Boyfriends storyline lmao, I need more dark concept queer shows like Kinnporsche and Killing Eve. :DObviously I also hope for as Season 2, I am just worried about the cast since how gross the Novel Writers treated them and harassed them on the daily, I hope there will be a way of preventing them from being with them up close every day, but I've heard the chances are low since... well, they own the rights of the novel. (Which I am not a fan of btw, read the VegasPete Story and NOPE, not a fan. Too many explicit r*pe scenes and I know people say 'just skip those' but it's literally AT least a third of their story. And even after I am not a big fan of their interactions. It's literally just Pete trying to act like Tankhun to annoy Vegas so he would free him, and them talking about food - I know it's their thing okay, but I just wasn't a big fan of the novel. I must say I've only read until Pete escaped so I don't know what happens after.)
Vegas & Pete | Killing Butterflies [TW] Lacrima 2022-08-25 | Trigger Warning: Self Harm, Suicide Attempt, Torture, Unconsentual Touching"I'll hopefully will be able to finish this edit in 2 days" ... LOL yeah that didn't happen. *insert clown emoji here* And AGAIN I am still not able to make short edits and they always end up being so long, that barely anyone will even watch the whole thing haha. But this Edit is kind of 3 Edits in One, with 3 different songs, it kind of also shows the 3 stages of their relationship and it's Growth a little bit?I also found it kind of hard to make an edit with just one song where I add the torture scenes but also the cute scenes just a few seconds apart - seemed a bit weird. But I also don't want to pretend this relationship is unproblematic and not abusive. However I don't think Pete has Stockholm Syndrome, since the whole time he knew what Vegas was doing was wrong and tried to and eventually did escape. It did feel very therapeutic to see Pete beating up and shooting Vegas (I know it was to protect him) in the final episode though. I don't like people judging or hating people that like this couple though, as long as you're aware it's not a healthy couple & don't romanticize what Vegas did - it's fine. I just found their story really interesting and the cinematography and colours in their scenes was so addictive and pretty + Bible's and Build's acting was outstanding. Also, People have to stop looking at their storyline as if they are 'normal' people and it's a basic : victim falls in love with kidnapper storyline. It's a Mafia Show - they are from the Mafia, both have killed & tortured people and are not good humans (like Pete said, there are no Villains nor Heroes), even Pete who was mostly adorable during the show is the Head Bodyguard of the Major Family, he has killed & tortured people & when he went into Vegas place to find information & expose him he was aware and knew that he would get tortured and killed if he gets found out. Most characters in the show are problematic & did horrible things - and I don't like it when people pretend just Vegas is this "big bad wolf" and people are gross for liking this couple. But in the end everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, just look at the stuff happening in the show with the understanding that it is a Mafia Show. I am so grateful that their love scene was entirely consentual& that Pete was the one handing Vegas the rope & then how surprisingly gentle it was with Vegas kissing his tied up hands & the soft kisses. :,) I did read parts of the book, didn't like it btw, & am just glad they didn't decide to include the r*pe stuff, because with that, I don't think I would've been able to like those two. Also for people planning to read the translated version of the Book: Be warned, the r*pe scenes are written in an really explicit way & can obviously be super triggering & even if not, it just makes you uncomfortable reading it. I do adore this couple, & I also adore Kinnporsche (both Porsche&Pete are my fave Characters), but since the last few episodes were VegasPete focused, I am currently more obsessing over them. One of my favorite lines is still "If I'll die today, can it be you who kills me?", I am obsessed with it haha. I did cringe however at the "You're no longer my pet" thing BIG TIME, but I decided to include it anyways for the sake of parallels. One thing I also wanna talk about is the first torture scene which I adore (sounds weird I know) and I do really enjoy watching edits of it simply because I am obsessed with Pete grinning and mocking Vegas and not giving him the satisfaction of him being scared. I disagree with people that say Pete was grinning because he is canonally a masochist & that he enjoyed the torture.For me personally it was very clear that Pete was indeed scared but just grinned to mock Vegas, knowing his plan failed& that he, Pete, suceeded in exposing him so therefore Vegas would have to hide to not get killed. Even a masochist wouldnt enjoy unconsentual torture, the body might react, yes, but psychologally there would have to be consent for masochists to actually enjoy it. Plus, Pete never showed signs of enjoying the unconsentual torture so I don't know where people got that from. I really find the scenes before Pete was captured interesting though, where Vegas was torturing someone& Pete was the only one not looking away& didnt even flinch. What I really like about their relationship is how similar their past is and that they both share the same trauma about having an abusive dad - I think Pete might've thought about how he himself could've ended up like Vegas if he didnt have his loving grandma and therefore a support system. :,)I have a lot of other kinnporsche edits planned, I also already started a Porsche Edit & hopefully will be back with editing more frequently& not just once every few months. I'm alive?:D And back with a super healthy domestic cute unproblematic fluffy couple. :D (π§ββοΈ) sooo.... hating myself for not having started watching Kinnporsche sooner because I thought I was done with Thai BLs but then some girl on Tinder I messaged recommended it to me & I wanted to have smth to talk about with her and now I am here and obsessed. :) This is just a preview, I feel like I owe you guys this after not having uploaded for such a long time, and tbh this particular edit is already finished and 3 min long but it's gonna be 7 min long, with 2 different songs- the first part being with this song with everything problematic about them + It's just fun to make psycho-vibe edits I guess? but the second part will be angsty with them talking, getting to know each other Pete's trauma, them kind of trauma-bonding etc. it just is hard to have finished this first part and then find a way to completely switch up to a 'couple' edit if that makes sense? but I also didnt want to just make an edit not including the stuff Vegas did to Pete because it happened and we all shouldnt act like it didnt. BUT, it's a mafia show and we have to watch it through that lense, they all torture and kill people - Pete expected that to happen in case he gets caught exposing Vegas so it's different from a story about a sadistic kidnapper torturing someone they like until they develop stockholm syndrome. Which is not the case here, even after Pete started liking Vegas (and btw I am sooo thankful they changed the novel and made the sex scene 100% consensual), he still tried and did escape and never thought what Vegas did to him was good. but he did see the vulnerable human side of him and could relate with his own experiences. :,) this relationship as problematic as it is, Bible's and Build's great acting MAKES it so good and intriguing and interesting. I dont want to say too much since this is just a Preview & I have to finish the second part of the edit first. π I already started like 5 other Kinnporsche Edits I desperately want to finish and hopefully will, I just barely have time because of my fulltime job. I was the most active on youtube while being in Lockdown lmao. Missing those times tbh. π€
Isi & Sascha | Start Again [+7x10] Lacrima 2022-01-03 | I've only started & caught up with Season 7 a few days ago but I still read reactions and opinions on tumblr while new clips would come out and I saw a lot of negative opinions on it which surprised me as soon as I caught up and watched it. Then again, I was able to watch the first 9 Episodes in One Go that way and didn't have to wait several days, being all frustrated, for a new clip, so I guess that's why I personally don't have any negative feelings towards this season. Plus, I actually felt like there was a reason why Isi was so infatuated(?) with Lou, considering they always felt so different and like she didn't fit in anywhere and were actually really insecure, so meeting someone like Lou with a "IDGAF Attitude" who is super confident, made Isi feel really good probably. In the end I also really adored their friendship. I'm glad that Isi decided to distance himself from Konstantin but I also hope Konstantin gets some therapy and works on his own mental health. I think this Season was the first that did the Childhood Friends to Lovers Trope in the whole SkamVerse if I am not mistaken? And they did an excellent job, since it felt just super natural between Sascha & Isi and it didn't feel like anything really changed between them as soon as they got together except that they now kissed, and that's realistic and how it's supposed to be. They are already comfortable around each other and know everything about each other, they don't need time to get to know each other first haha. Sascha is the human version of a golden retriever and if I had to describe what a comfort character feels like, I would show them Sascha because he just radiates comfort. I also really love Isi and what a complex character she is. They aren't perfect, he made many mistakes, but I still adore them because after all, we all make mistakes and learn from them. Like most people, I enjoyed the second half of the Season the most, because it focused more on Isi's journey on figuring out their gender identity and with which pronouns he feels the most comfortable with. (Still wish they would've focused on that a bit more, maybe Isi talking more about her body dysphoria considering they heard that word for the first time from David and after, it just didn't get mentioned again. It obviously got portrayed in scenes where they had trouble breathing or he took off his earrings etc. but I wish Isi would've talked about that with another non-binary / trans person to make sense of things and feel understood. I'm guessing he will continue joining that queer youth group and talk about it with others but only off screen, which is unfortunate. )The scene between her and her little brother on the football field made me cry and I can just applaud that brother's actor, because he's so young and still did an incredible and convincing job acting. Can I just say I rewatched all of the scenes Isi was dancing in several times? Those were just really feel-good scenes that made you smile because they were so freeing, and Isi was finally themself.(Also can we talk about that final scene and the tension between Isi & Nora, and Isi & Yara??? I thought they were gonna kiss, it was so intense and they had great chemistry. I'm sorry Sascha, you're my number 1 I swear and you deserve the whole world and an incredible partner, but for a few seconds I was distracted by the chemistry between Isi and the Girls haha)Both Paul and Eren are incredibly beautiful but the amount of gender envy I felt while watching Eren was unreal haha. :,)I hope you liked this edit! I managed to finish this more than 1 month after lmao. Simon Eriksson | STARBOY [Young Royals] Lacrima 2021-08-05 | Since I've finished the show about a month ago I wanted to make an edit simply about Simon because he quickly became one of my all time favorite characters + one of my comfort characters. :,)While he obviously is our friendly sunshine boy; I also adore that he doesn't take shit from no one and is sassy at times. Plus, I actually really liked how he chose himself for once in the end even though he knew it would hurt himself and Wilhelm. I could write whole Essays about why I adore this character so much but I am way too lazy to do that right now lmao.I actually started this edit about 2 weeks ago but literally couldn't finish it BECAUSE I hyperfixated on Young Royals AND especially Omar Rudberg, who portrayed this beautiful character. So I obviously had the motivation to make an edit but I was way too busy to dive deeper into what I could find about the actors involved + watch edits from others of the show + rewatch it like 20+ times AND refresh twitter every 20 seconds so I wouldn't miss any updates lol. While I knew I wanted to make an edit simply for Simon, I got the idea to use the song "Starboy" from the Wilhelm edit by KINOwoman. In the past I already planned to make an edit with this song, but watching that edit reminded me of it again, so I feel like it's appropiate to give credit. :)If anyone of you all haven't watch the show yet: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR? It's a realistic portrayal of lgtbqa+ with a couple that actually communicates, that isn't fetishized or sexualized + the show has an awesome soundtrack. They let the actors have acne and have actors the same or similar age the characters they play are which is super refreshing. :,) They reuse clothes and outfits and they don't let the girls backstab each other over a boy. I can't really formulate or put into words what the show started to mean to me the past few weeks, especially the main actors Omar and Edvin. Wilhelm & Simon | Silhouette [Young Royals] Lacrima 2021-07-20 | Okay this show is my new obsession. :,) Watched it last week, but because I had struggles with my pc and Sony Vegas + work full time now, it took me a bit longer to finish this edit. I adore the soundtrack of the show and that they leave in the breathing sounds because it makes their scenes way more intense. And DAMN THOSE TWO have chemistry, havent seen that strong tension and chemistry in a while. Young Royals also casted actors that are similar to the age of their characters + let them wear the same outfits several times and didnt put make up on their 'imperfections' like acne, which is a detail I really adore. (I already loved that with SKAM years ago)Wilhelm's anxiety and panic attacks are really realistic and well portrayed, in general all the actors did such an incredible job, especially the main actor Edvin.I am kind of Simon biased though. I adore him so much. I love his sassy moments and that he knows his self worth, but also that he is friendly and nice. And both Simon and Wilhelm did the first move several times so it wasnt just one chasing the other. The football field scene is my favorite scene from the show- it's a masterpiece and the fact that it's written and improvised by Edvin astounds me. I adore shows that give their actors creative freedom, because as a result we always receive literal ART. Sadly, I can't really see them have a happy ending, considering Wilhelm has to have biological children and idk if the monarchy and public would accept him to just pay a woman to carry his babies. And I dont think the show will go as far as ending the whole monarchy. I am pretty confident we get a season 2 (AND I DESPERATELY NEED IT) considering the show's success.Because of the show I found Omar Rudberg, who plays Simon, that is literally the most gorgeous man I've ever seen. (Especially with his long curls and tan skin, plsss let Simon have longer hair in the second season Writers!!!) Vagabond | Who will save Us Lacrima 2021-07-06 | This edit only includes the first 3 episodes because I am only on Ep 10 right now + every episode has so many great scenes (Especially Actions Scenes) so I already had trouble choosing the ones I used from the first 3 episodes. (Originally I had 25 min worth of scenes from those episodes)It would be too hard to make an edit about all 16 episodes without leaving out important stuff. :,) I'll probably make 2 more Vagabond Edits which include scenes from the episodes after. ^-^Originally I started watching this show which aired back in 2019, because Lee Seunggi plays the main character, since he became my favorite actor after his performance in 'Mouse' - and I absolutely LOVE the show so far.I remember thinking 'This looks awesome' when I watched the trailer but I told myself not to be dissapointed later on and that the trailer probably included all the cool actions scenes there are in the show and that watching would be probably way more boring - BOIIIII was I wrong haha. 99% of the Scenes in the Trailer are just from Episode 1 haha. I needed some time until I was ready to watch the first Episode, because I found out his nephew that he raised like his own son would die... and the airplane crash scene itself was really hard to watch too, because it was really long and they showed the kids being afraid. :( I am still in blissful ignorance that Hoon somehow survived lmao AS IF the plane didnt fucking explode. I also really like the couple so far, I am in love with the Character Suzy plays and also with Lily. ;-) The show is also really frustrating to watch because LITERALLY 98% of the characters that get introduced are freaking involved in the terrorism attack. Sometimes I found myself screaming at my screen at the main characters to back up their proof more !!! Like DAMN at least take a picture of the Co-Pilot being alive and spread it every where on the internet. :/I guess it's debatable how realistic it is that the main character survives everything and is seemingly fine afterwards haha. Dude survived 3 car crashes and has like one scar on his face haha + can apparently take out a team full of trained NIS. xD I know it makes scenes that he's super skilled because of his job but THAT skilled?Anyways, I LOVE it though. It's funny to watch the bad guys being confident in having killed him and then he is still alive and they just get frustrated and annoyed haha.I recommend this show to everybody! Carla & Samuel | Not afraid anymore [Elite 18+] Lacrima 2021-06-19 | This edit just includes scenes from season 2 and from the short film that came out a few days ago. :) I originally also wanted to include scenes from season 3 but I didn't want this edit to turn out longer than 4 minutes. Anyways... I am so glad we finally good more scenes of my favorite Elite Couple. :,) I still have hope that we at least get one last scene in Season 5, showing us they are endgame. I am pretty hopeful about that since the Elite Writers know that they are a loved pairing. (Didn't stop them to break up other loved pairings though lol)Samuel just really has to sort out his insecurities first, and become more confident. Both need to mature and then in a few days they can get back together, and finally be able to communicate better.As you can see this edit is kind of sexy, but also angsty: which is basically them. They have like one happy scene haha, and mostly just sexy or angsty scenes. (And I love it kinda???) Ba Reum | Train Wreck [Mouse + 1x20] Lacrima 2021-06-07 | Since my last Mouse Edit was about Evil! Ba Reum, I wanted to make a sad edit about Ba Reum after the surgery and memory loss and his journey from that moment on until his death. Prepare for a lot of suffering. :,( I can't help that my heart hurts so much for him. I don't really see him as the same person as before the surgery + in the end he did everything right and he still suffered for months, isolated and alone. (Can't blame Moo Chi and Bong Yi obviously)I just wanna give this version of Ba Reum a big hug. I lowkey wished that the series would've adressed more that Psychopaths/Sociopaths can be made and not just born. Yes, Ba Reum was born with antisocial personality disorder, but he never would've actually ended up as a serial killer if 1. nobody called him a monster since birth, 2. he wouldn't have been abused by his stepfather, 3. his "mums" wouldn't have tried to kill him TWICE (or three times, if you count when he was a baby), 4. if his family wasn't murdered in front of his eyes and 5. if the OZ wouldn't have given him a trigger to make him start killing people. (Pleaseeee, I don't have ASPD but even I would kill that bastard that killed my family)I kinda wanted to include a bit of that in this edit, some stuff from his childhood. His younger self literally selfharmed because he had the urge to hurt other kids when they annoyed him, but to stop himself, he hurt himself instead. This kid was wronged and should've just been given a few more hugs and love (literally the only hug he got was when his mum was dying in his arms lol) + if the parent's would've put him into therapy like the teacher suggested!All this doesn't mean that I don't blame evil! Ba Reum for his own actions, a LOT of people experience trauma and don't turn into a serial killer - I am just saying that a lot of other people "helped" in making him that way. And even after the surgery, the OZ basically drugged him without consent by giving him pills to help him lash out more often & to lose control so he would kill more people, while making him believe it's just normal painkillers for his headaches. :/I DO love the ending. Yes, I was incredibly sad to see Ba Reum go through so much pain but during that last scene he finally found peace and was able to rest. The way his face just looked so exhausted and tired, and the way his younger self's lips quivered, almost crying, broke my heart. :( And FINALLY old Bareum gave young Ba Reum a hug they both despiritely needed. :(It's beautifully made and poetic in a way? Ba Reum prayed to God so he could be normal, and not end up as a monster. And the priest's lasts words were "May God save your soul" and he DID. In a way that seemed cruel, but he granted Ba Reum emotions. And Ba Reum himself realised that in his last moments, that now, in the eye of death, he finally wasn't a monster anymore. I am an atheist but even for me that felt beautiful, and my best friend who believes in god, felt even more in awe and told her sister which made her cry. I don't know... I just really love and adore that last scene. Also I was so surprised when I saw nobody feeling sorry about Ba Reum (after the surgery), I get why people that haven't watched the show would question your moral compass if they hear you feel sorry about a serial killer, but he was literally the main character. We were supposed to feel sorry for him AND question our morals while doing so. While he killed innocent people before the surgery, he protected the innocent after, and killed the evil people, preventing many more gruesome crimes from happening. I read a review, and they did go as far as call him an Anti-Hero. I feel like I am actually not the only person feeling sorry or bad for him, but maybe that other viewers were a bit scared to admit that? Because they didn't want people to think they are romanticizing a serial killer? IDK.Plus, it seems like more people are in love with Yo Han. Which, I totally get. He deserved SO MUCH better. But I can't say I care about him as much as about Ba Reum, because Yo Han barely had scenes? There are maybe 10 seconds of content of him actually showing emotions, and during the other scenes he just was expressionless. (Which was the point since we were supposed to think he was the serial killer) My heart hurts for Yo Han but I don't care as much for him as other people it seems like. We have about 10 min of scenes with him, while we have about 20 hours of Ba Reum Scenes, a way to get attached to the character&feel with him. I always find myself drawn to the characters that suffer the most for some reason. I am a fan of Angst, & also a fan of seeing my favorite character suffer (but I also hate it lol)& usually I would need a happy ending but LET's be honest: We all knew how it would end. With Ba Reum in Prison and/or dead. So we were prepared& that last scene with him finally being able to rest gave me enough satisfaction.It was the perfect ending.Colouring: Samz Delight
Ba Reum | Sick Thoughts [Mouse +1x20] Lacrima 2021-06-04 | (SPOILERS)So I recently watched "Mouse" and my mind got blown away. I did go into watching it without any expectations and just thought it would be a simple crime drama but Nope lol. Just during the first 3 episodes I already wrote 100 Tweets about my theories, every episode gave me headaches(in the best way possible) because most of the stuff I thought to be true turned out to be false. It blew my mind how literally every character was connected, and how there's literally much more about Ba Reum and his upbringing than I initially thought.I DID spoil myself with like the biggest plot twist- aka Ba Reum being the killer, because during watching ep 2 I searched up Ba Reum and Bong Yi, just wanting to know if they'll end up together, and the first suggestion was a compilation video of Ba Reum's duality and his creepy smiles lol.Still, there was much more to find out about than just that reveal, plus during the course of the show there were several moments where you thought to yourself "wait is he the killer? Or is he not?", so I couldn't even be 100% sure that was the case because the show is a fan of tricking the viewer into believing something happened, when it actually didnt.While I expected the last episode to have more of a climax and smth "big" happening, I still felt good about the ending. All the characters got closure and all the bad characters got what they deserved. (Karma)I must say that I DO feel incredibly sad about Ba Reum (him after the brain surgery) because he felt like an entirely different character. I personally believe that we as people and our personality is shaped by all the life experiences we had, so for Ba Reum to not have any memories for over a year (and basically building a new personality with the experiences he had during that year after the surgery) + to be able to have empathy and emotions because of Yo Han's part of the brain : he's just an entirely different person. He didn't even feel like it was his own memories when he started to remember, so I just felt really sad for him. (Not for Ba Reum before the surgery though)It sucks, that in the end he did everything right and turned himself in, gave his money to the victims and killed his father for Moo Chi, just to suffer for many months, all alone, with just his self hatred and guilt left. At the same time it's kind of beautiful in a way? "Old Ba Reum" got exactly what he deserved, and the perfect punishment. And "New Ba Reum" was able to finally rest, and be at peace during his death. They showed Moo Chi looking at Ba Reum's grave at the end, showing how he forgave him, because he realised because of his brother and one of the victim's mum's, that you do not forgive for the sinner, you do forgive for yourself so you can finally move on and be able to sleep better at night.It's kind of crazy to think about the fact that the only reason Ba Reum turned into a serial killer is because the OZ wanted him to become one. If his family wouldn't have gotten murdered + the OZ wouldn't have send him the adress of the one responsible for the death of his family, knowing that he would kill that guy and will start to murder more people after - he would have just lived a normal life probably. His teacher told his parents that he needs therapy + they already had the diagnosis of Antisocial Personality Disorder, so Therapy would've been perfect to help him adapt better and deal and live with that Disorder in a healthy way from an early age on. My heart hurts for Yo Han. :,( He deserved so much better. I just hope that he died thinking that he managed to kill "evil" Ba Reum, and that him dying wasn't for nothing. Despite having had such a hard life because of everyone thinking he's the headhunter's son, he still managed to be a kind soul. I am lowkey glad the show didn't give us more scenes (especially sad ones) with him, because that would've absolutely shattered my heart. :(NOW, the acting in the show was incredible. Tbh I never heard of Lee Seunggi before but I totally became a fan and watched many clips of him from youtube since then! I am planning to watch "Vagabond" and "Korean Odyssey" because of him. :) For "Mouse" he literally had to play 3 characters, the real psychopathic killer Ba Reum, old Ba Reum pretending to be kind and adorable + Ba Reum after surgery. (which is basically just him suffering)It was really sexy of Ba Reum to kill all those bad people in the way they killed their victims. Teh & Oh-Aew | When we were 18 Lacrima 2021-05-22 | Who's ready for 'I promised you the moon'???:DThat short film of them on their last day in phuket really took me by surprised and gave me enough motivation to finish the edit I started after the trailer for Part 2 dropped. ;-) They're so beautiful. I expected it to be a big part of the storyline in Part 2 that Teh still is too shy to express their love in public but I was pleasantly surprised that he and Oh Aew had no problems at all to hold hands in public. :,)Plus, we got the first "I love you" and it was perfect! There wasn't a big built up to it which fits them perfectly. It's realistic. I will miss their places in Phuket and the whole cinematography of it so so much and I am super glad that by this short film Nadao gave us the chance to say goodbye to those places just like Teh and Oh Aew were able to. :,)Through the trailer for Part 2 we already know that even though they'll live in Bangkok now, the cinematography will be just as amazing. They already put so much thought into the use of certain colours in Part 1, where Red represents Oh Aew and Blue represents Teh, so I find it quiet interesting how Part 1 was full of warm tones, while Part 2 has more cold tones, and looks more blueish.I already feel so sorry for Oh Aew, because it sucks to live your life in a way to reach your goal or dream, just to realise later on that it isn't what you actually want. I'm curious on what career path Oh Aew will choose instead. Teh will be sad and worried after Oh Aew tells him that he doesnt want to be an actor anymore because that was THEIR thing. Both wanting to become an actor and being on that journey together. Teh will probably worry to loose Oh Aew due to that. Plus, it looks like Oh Aew will have a big loving friendgroup, while Teh seems to focus more on his studies and his future career without any stabile support system. It's gonna be hard for him to see Oh Aew spending time with his friendgroup instead of hanging out with him (he already had problems with that in Part 1) and I'm guessing he's gonna feel a bit alone, seeing Oh Aew with all his friends. :(Despite the believes of many, I don't think that one guy in the trailer that tells Teh to forget Oh Aew is a bad guy. I think he told him that sentence during acting class, so Teh would be able to focus more and get into character.I'm 100% sure there won't be any storyline with one of them being suddenly interested in someone else. I think Nadao wanted to scare us a bit with the trailer. They will end up together, I am sure of it. Nanno and Yuri | Yes & No [Girl from Nowhere] Lacrima 2021-05-10 | A few days ago Season 2 of "Girl from Nowhere" came out finally, and I binge-watched it in a day :DWhen I said I want Nanno to have a girlfriend to make people suffer the consequences of their actions together, this is not what I meant lol. Nanno seems to be the representation of Karma, while Yuri represents Revenge.Yuri is stupid to think that it would be that easy to kill Nanno. I feel like this is a Test from Nanno, she wanted to see what Yuri decides to do, and now she knows she's the enemy. :P I loved Season 2 just as much as Season 1, and I will make another edit about the show in general for sure. :-) Anyone else got gay vibes between Nanno and Yuri + Nanno and Jenny? :PI either wanted Nanno to get a girlfriend in Season 1 or for TK to come back, because he was the only person that got Nanno to laugh for real and that actually understood why his actions had consequences instead of blaming her for it. :,) But I read somewhere on Twitter that it's actually a good thing that TK didn't appear this season because Yuri would've used him as Nanno's weakness and probably would've killed him. What did you think about this season? I always catch myself feeling bad for the people that suffer because of Nanno but then I always remember what they did and that most of them deserve it. (Although I must say oftentimes their punishment is harsher than what they did.)I really like how the show mixes the element of important topics and critism to today's society with a bit of horror. Do Hyun Soo | His Story [Flower of Evil] Lacrima 2021-05-04 | I love him so much. :,) I am very much aware that probably nobody will watch this super long edit but I made it mainly for myself to kind of make a character tribute for one of my all time favorite characters. :) - that I didn't even know existed like 2 weeks ago. I'm lowkey starting to hyperfixate on the show because I love it so much so I also started 3 other edits about it. I really need to start making more edits about ongoing dramas and not the ones that already ended months ago lmao.To be honest I had no idea and no plan on how this edit would turn out and I actually was planning to just make it 2 min long lol. Apparently I didn't think about exactly HOW MUCH Hyun Soo suffered. I know I wrote below my other Flower of Evil edit that I think he actually has Antisocial Personality Disorder, considering he has all the symptoms towards everyone BUT his wife, daughter and Sister. But since then I watched the show another 2 times and I think it was just wishful thinking from my part, because I finally wanted to have a character with ASPD that isn't a serial killer. (Because that's the bad stigma around the disorder)The show hinted that he got wrongly diagnosed with it because he lied about having killed a dog even though it was his dad who killed it, and because he showed aggressive behavior. (that just happened when someone touched his cassette tape player that his dead mum gifted him)I read something about him probably having Alexithymia instead, which is a pretty good theory. When Ji Won is saying that he must've loved his mother a lot, his response is that he got the diagnosis of ASPD and that they told him, he couldn't feel emotions like love. Then Ji Won proceeds to ask him why he held on his mum's cassette player so long and he seems confused and says that he doesn't understand either and that nobody ever explained to him why he acted that way. I'm sorry that the part where he loses his memory seems rushed and pretty short but at that point I just really wanted to wrap up this edit since it was already wayyyy too long haha.He deserves the world and more. :,) Show: Flower of Evil
Hyun Soo & Ji Won | Make This Go on Forever [Flower of Evil] Lacrima 2021-04-29 | I binge watched "Flower of Evil" a few days ago and it quickly became my all time number one Kdrama. :DI can't praise this drama enough. The acting is incredible. I praised a lot of actors before but this time I was TRULY astounded by the main leads talent. Especially Joongi's acting. I am still not over the second half of Episode 15 - that should go down in television history. I had goosebumps and I cried buckets of water and had to rewatch that soooo many times.Joongi and Chaewon have incredible chemistry on screen and I was almost overwhelmed by their love for each other. This on screen pairing became quickly one of my all time OTP's. :,)I usually am not a fan of watching an already established couple (and in this case they've known each other for 14 years already, have a kid and are married!) but it was such a pleasure to watch them.I am not exaggerating when I say that I was on the edge of my seat every episode. Some scenes I felt tense in a way where I felt like I had to look away. (For example all the times Hyun Soo almost gets caught by Ji Won in the earlier episodes.)I think it's debatable if Hyun Soo actually has Antisocial Personality Disorder or has been wrongly diagnosed. (Considering his therapist back then interpreted him getting aggressive because of his camcorder wrongly)He has all the symptoms, and he doesn't care about anyone else besides his wife and sister which is pretty common for people with antisocial personality disorder. I did some research and read about some of the experiences of people with that disorder, and some say that they are able to care for certain people and are able to experience love, just not in a way people with a neurotypical brain would. What is questionable is that Hyun Soo cries a lot in the second half of the season. I also read that while it's rare, people with ASPD can experience sadness but I don't know if it's realistic to experience it in such an intense way. Hyun Soo told Ji Won that he doesnt remember anything before the age of 10, so we don't really know if he was born with the disorder because of genetic reasons because of his dad. (His dad told others that his son is like him but during another scene he said that he tried to mold his son into a person like him, but failed. Obviously he was talking about his tendency to kill people lol, but still)I personally think Hyun Soo actually has ASPD, and I am super grateful that a show has a character with that diagnosis for once, that doesn't feel the urge to kill people because that's such a toxic stigma in the media. (Hyun Soo certainly wouldn't really feel empathy if he killed someone, considering he almost did a few times, but he would only do it, if he would gain something from it. He doesn't feel the urge to.)The times he saved people wasnt because of empathy but because he knew what would make Ji Won happy. I'm glad that in the end the show didn't pretend that Ji Won "fixed" him, and that he still has his manipulitive tendencies. Because that's not how it works. It's so funny to watch edits from the show when just the first few episodes were out, and they all make edits about Hyun Soo being a psychopathic serial killer. (that's what the show wanted us and his wife to believe at first) And you can see from the comments, who watched the show and who didnt lol. There was someone below an edit being mad and saying "why the fuck are you guys romanticizing a serial killer???" - watch the show. :,)Hyun Soo quickly became one of my all time favorite characters, and I feel a weird fondness thinking about him. He's been through so much trauma, and he managed to be a great human being, and being the greatest father and husband, while everyone hated him and his father literally "tried" to make him like him. He's such a strong character. I will for sure make an edit just about his character in the future!And Ji Won! Such a strong character as well. I adore her so much, and I actually liked that she "believed" what she saw. She tries to find proof first.I feel so incredibly bad for her. Her husband almost died many times and she had to hear him say that he never loved her after years of being together. And then, he lost his memory but she still remained strong and hopeful. :,)Honestly speaking, I knew what would happen in the end before finishing the show because I spoiled myself. And I felt so mad about his memory loss to the point I was considering not watching the final episode. But I am glad I did. I actually feel content with the ending? This is what Hyun Soo needed. He lived a lie for years and now he can finally have a fresh start and live as himself. :,) I can recommend this kdrama to everyone. Vincenzo | Skyfall [+1x16] Lacrima 2021-04-21 | Originally my first Vincenzo edit was supposed to be a Jun Woo Edit because I am in love with him but I am a bit mad at him right now for getting Vincenzo's mum killed. :D I obviously saw that coming but I still cried during all those final interactions with Vincenzo and his mum. :,) And it pains me that he'll never find out that she knew he was her son. I am looking forward to Vincenzo making them all suffer next episode. :)Especially Ms Choi; I dislike that character the most. I'm gonna riot if anyone lays another finger on my precious Baby Han Seo; I hope he survives and will be able to live an abuse free life. In my eyes he redeemed himself for his past actions considering it was all because of Jun Woo, plus he saved Vincenzo's and Cha Young's life. The acting in this show is incredible. I am especially blown away by Taecyeon's acting; I hate myself a little bit for spoiling myself before the show, so I already knew the villain and wasn't shocked by that plot twist. I must say though that I miss innocent and cute Jun Woo A LOT. He is such an entertaining Villain. Pretty sure he'll die in the end considering he could get out of jail with money probably. I lowkey want Cha Young to be the one to kill him, since he has a soft spot for her. Or his brother, as revenge for what he's been through over the years.He's one of my all time favorite villains but I definitely want him to die in the end lol. During the ending scene of Episode 16 I got CHILLS. The Madness and Rage in Vincenzo's eyes while he was beating that guy up and then the absolute emptiness in them while he was following him and then shooting him in front of the Villains... I had to rewatch that scene many many times. I must confess that before I started this show I was a bit skeptical because Joong-Ki has such an innocent cute face and I wasn't sure if he fits the role but HOLY Hell he delivered and I think seeing his character doing the stuff he does while having such an "innocent" face is even more terrifying.I adore Cha Young so much for not trying to stop Vincenzo for getting revenge for his mother, she understands him completely and knew that that was what he needed in that moment. :,)I have a bad feeling that in the final episode Vincenzo will sacrifice himself for Cha Young but I HOPE I am wrong. Because then she would be all alone in this world. She already lost her mum, dad and best friend so Vincenzo is the only one she has left. (And Mr Nam; I saw a theory on twitter that he might be secretly evil as well and PLS NO, I need him, Cha Young and Vincenzo to stay the adorable Trio they are:3)This edit turned out wayyy too long again even though I just used 1/5 of the scenes I cut. Seo Joon & Ji Woo | Were not Friends [To My Star] Lacrima 2021-04-12 | Making a short edit? Mission failed for the 1000th time. π For anyone wondering why I make an edit about those two now even though the show ended back in the beginning of february: After I finished watching "You make me Dance" I decided to watch some of the korean BL's I missed and haven't watched so far. :) So I watched this one about 3 days ago and really wanted to make an edit. I must say for some reason I actually enjoyed watching this one more than "You make me Dance"? But a large reason for that is probably that for this one I watched the movie version and watched everything in one Go, while for YMMD I had to wait a week just to watch a few minutes since the episodes in korean BLs are always so damn short. In terms of chemistry I would still say that the couple in YMMD has a bit more but that doesn't mean that Seo Joon and Ji Woo don't have any. :DWhat I adored was how they were both basically the human form of Puppy and Cat. I mean... Ji Woo literally told Seo Joon that he's like a dog + they showed a scene where Seo Joon was cutely waiting for Ji Woo in front of the door to come home, like a dog would wait for it's owner haha. It was pretty endearing and adorable. :)In YMMD I fell in love with the main character Shi On, just like I fell in love with Seo Joon here. :)I am not really into Tsundere Characters that are pretty expressionless tbh, I'm more into the expressive cute characters, that, despite them being adorable, are pretty confident, not shy and know what they want. (It's usually characters that most definitely would get sorted into Hufflepuff. I'm a Hufflepuff myself so maybe that's why haha)And both Seo Joon and Shi on fit that so they both got added to the list of my comfort characters. :,) I adore both so much.Korea really needs to make more lengthy BL's because ??? Where was Ji Woo's backstory? I mean... it was pretty obvious he got hurt in a past relationship but I wished fot it to be more adressed and talked about + did something happen to his parents? I know he has a pictureframe of what looks like his parents besides his bed but they don't appear or get talked about at all. I adore that purple/blue/white/gray sweater during Ep 5-6 so so much.And I also really loved his outfit in Ep 1 in combination with him still wearing his motorbike helmet. Shi On & Hong Seok | Fall on Me [+1x08] Lacrima 2021-04-07 | Wanted to edit those two soulmates again. :)I just found out that both actors are rookie actors and considering they didn't have much experience beforehand, I am super impressed with their acting. Also I feel old? When did it happen that the actors from the shows I watch are younger than me?:,) Young Woo, Shi On's Actor, is just 21! Okay technically I am just 1 year - 3 days older than him, so not that much haha. I really enjoyed this drama. While it doesn't have much plot, it makes up with their chemistry and all those parallels. (I am a sucker for parallels!)Also I was pleasantly surprised because we got an actual kiss? And with that I mean that we got one, where it's not just Lips slightly touching with both of them having their eyes open, which I always find super uncomfortable to watch lmao. (They also had those, but I think those soft kisses kind of fit to that scene in Ep 8 where a tear rolled down Hong Seok's face. It fits the soft and romantic atmosphere)A bit more backstory to the characters, especially for Hong Seok would've been nice but then again, the show just had 8 really short episodes so there's not much time for that. Also? HOW DARE THEY not show us the pained Bully's face when he realised and found out that Shi On won the audition instead of him? I was looking forward to that scene haha.Anyways I added Shi On to the List of my Comfort Characters. I just adore characters that are soft and goofballs but are also not shy in any way. I was like DAMN??? when Shi On was so smooth before their first kiss? Through the podcast he basically gave Hong Seok the time to realise they were gonna kiss and time to back out in case he doesn't want that. I LOVE that Shi On isn't shy about his feelings and straightforward. When Hong Seok smiled big and brightly for the first time, warmth and love written all over his face, I melted. Who knew how in love he could look considering he had a neutral facial expression most of the time. :D But I loved that through that we could witness his feelings for Shi On grow over the few episodes. Dong Sik & In Woo | The Purge [Psychopath Diary] Lacrima 2021-03-26 | They love each other so much. (ββΏβ) π€‘LMAO. Sorry to anyone that clicked on this edit not knowing the show and thinking In Woo proposed to Dong Sik in the thumbnail. :,)I just used scenes from about a third of all 16 episodes since I didn't want the edit to end up over 5 minutes long like the last one. It saddens me that because of this I didnt include many great scenes but I forced myself to not follow the urge to include EVERYTHING haha. 'Psychopath Diary is still one of my all time favorite Kdramas and I recommend it to everyone. Dong Sik is my Baby and I'll protect that little adorable bean with my life but I just really like him in 'Psychopath' Mode and it was always super satisfying to see when he scared people that treated him like shit before or when he had the upper hand against In Woo. :)It's actually funny because I always say 'Dong Sik is Baby. He can't even hurt a fly' ... not taking into account that while he didn't kill anyone... he still kidnapped someone, fled out of Prison, etc. In Woo just wanted a serial killer boyfriend:( While he obviously didn't love him in a way normal people would 'love' since he's a psychopath: He still was intrigued a lot by him and since he felt lonely all his life with no one being able to understand him or enjoy that 'hobby' of his - he finally thought he found someone just like him. Shi De & Shu Yi | Make Up your Mind [+2x03] Lacrima 2021-03-22 | Okay I'm drunk so I don't really know what to say lol. But I am proud of myself that for once I was able to make a WBL edit just days after the new episode aired. :)Sam's and Yu's acting gets better and better and I am sure they have a bright future ahead of them. :)My mutuals on Twitter are confused why Shi De not getting the approval of Shu Yi's father isn't enough reason for what happened and I understand... but then again: we all live in diffeent cultures. And the approval from asian parents is pretty important in Taiwan. PLUS, I really don't think that's all. I don't think Ep 3 explains everything. There is more. Someone pointed out there were hospital bills in the background of Shi De in the earlier episodes of Season 2 so... I'm pretty sure he Actually has a reason for not messaging Shu Yi for 6 months. Like I said I am kinda drunk right now so I don't think I am able to talk alot about the new episode in general but I am still proud of myself that I managed to make one that 'fast'. Shi De & Shu Yi | Over You [+2x02] Lacrima 2021-03-19 | Sorry that I've only finished this now, just hours before the new episode airs lol.My mental health wasn't the best this week so I felt really unmotivated and I really had to force myself to finish this yesterday. It goes without saying that I hate the end result but I at least wanted to upload 'Something' after Sam's and Yu's incredible acting performance and seeing the behind the scene Video for the ending scene in Episode 2. (It broke my heart how empty inside both looked because the scene was so heavy and emotionally draining. I'm glad they were able to lean on and comfort each other. Being an actor must be really dangerous for your own mental health.)While Season 2's Vibe has an almost entirely different Vibe than Season 1 I still love it a lot. Who knows me knows that I adore Angst. While I really hated the minute where Shi De kisses Shu Yi without consent (I felt really uncomfortable watching) - I guess it kind of makes sense? Shi De was incredibly drunk and missed Shu Yi a lot + he really tried to avoid answering Shu Yi's question about what happened in the US so him and his drunken mind tried to "shut him up" and avoid answering his question. It kind of helped for me to feel kind of okay with the scene because it felt more like Shu Yi being shocked about how emotional Shi De was and that the realization hit him that something must've happened and that everything that happened wasn't just about Shi De ignoring him because he moved on or found someone else. So for me it didn't feel like Shu Yi was scared or disgusted by being kissed but more like he wanted Shi De to talk and tell him everything and not avoid the topic and distract him. Still, I didn't really include clips from that part of the scene (just when he kisses his forehead and Shu Yi starts to kiss him back). Shi De & Shu Yi | Moral of the Story [+2x01] Lacrima 2021-03-10 | I am actually pleasantly surprised that I don't dislike the endresult of the edit because for some reason I was 100% sure I would while editing it because everything just felt wrong for some reason? (I sometimes feel that during editing and sometimes I give up because of that but I'm glad I didnt this time)So uuuhm... Episode 1 of Part 2 was... intense lol. But I'm honestly living for it. This show served us Childhood Friends to Rivals to Friends to Boyfriends to Ex-Boyfriends/Enemies Excellence and I am all here for the Angst. :,)And that last scene... I had to hold my breath because the tension was so, well, ... intense. Something about hating each other (while still loving each other) just creates an enormous amount of sexual tension. And I was so living for Shu Yi taking control and startling Shi De a bit - I felt so satisfied seeing that - but also when Shi De shocked him by agreeing and Shu Yi was SHOOK because he didn't expect that. Loved that a lot, almost laughed because of his startled expression. I am definitely NOT ready for the next episode. Drunken angsty sex? Hell yeah I want it. (And in the preview you could literally see so many tears drop down Shi De's face. Give them all the acting awards!) Plus, Sam said, that before filming that scene, he drank 3 glasses of whiskey to be as much in character as possible and that filming it was super emotional. Can't wait. I just hope, there won't be any problem with consent and that both are completely on board with it.Maybe I'm evil but I like Shu Yi wanting to have some kind of revenge and pretend to get back together just to break Shi De's heart. :,)Both deserve absolutely everything and of course I want a happy ending-which we will get- I am sure of it!I can't wait to find out what happend in those 5 years. Moon Young & Gang Tae | Exile Lacrima 2021-03-05 | Uhmmm... this was supposed to be 4 min long lol. Ooops. Yeah so a few days ago I finally finished watching 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay' on Netflix, after having taken a break from it for a few months because of my mental health - and OH BOY I cried a lot. (Then again I cried during every episode so not really a surprise haha) The finale was everything I could wish for, I feel super content and satisfied with it and I got chills when they were reading their book out loud and you could see the side characters that inspired some of the book characters. :,)I can't praise this show enough. It has some of the best acting I've seen in my lifetime and literally all three main actors are sooo talented that I couldn't even say one of them is better in acting than the others. All three's performance was outstanding. I absolutely LOVED all the fairytale metaphors and how it was a theme during the whole show. Sang-Tae, Moon-Young and Gang-Tae mean so much to me at this point and I can't believe we got to witness them starting to heal and finding a family in each other. We watched them grow. :,) Sang-Tae ended up doing something on his own and being independent, Gang-Tae finally learned to put himself first and Moon-Young got to learn what warmth and love feels like. The show managed to portray a lot of the mental illnesses realistically (and that is SO great since in Korea it's not exactly normalized to talk freely about your mental health) and the soundtrack was incredible as well. My favorite relationship in the show was the whole family dynamic between the three main characters + Sang-Tae and Moon-Young bickering like actual siblings but I decided to make an edit about Moon Young and Gang Tae first since I thought it would be done faster lmao. Yeahhhh... After 3 days of non shop editing. I really need to learn how to make short edits. It's fine when I edit an on-going show because then I can built the edit around the newest episode and around a quote or conversation in it but here I had 16 episodes, each 80 min long, and not a concept or a clue on how to edit them so I just selected all the scenes that I wanted to inlcude from every episode (and I just ended up using 20% of those and it still ended up being 9 min long) and made this. There are still some scenes that are important, missing (like Gang-Tae softly telling her that he loves her and then they kiss and a tear rolls down Moon Young's face:,) ), but I unfortunetely I only realised this after rendering it. :/ I WILL make another edit of the show about them (all three) finding a family in each other + some of the side characters because I think the show has beautiful quotes that need to be heard and all those scenes are just beautiful shot and emotional. (I'll make it in a month or so though since I still have some other edits on my list)AND I'll also make a sexy edit of those two because I absolutely LOVED their dynamic and how Moon Young was so confident and dominant while Gang Tae got easily flustured lol. It was so refreshing to see and I adored every part of it. (Plus their sexual tension and Chemistry is INSANE)I doubt anyone read this all and watched the whole edit, but in the end I really needed to make the edit this long to feel content with the scenes I used and to feel like I did them justice. Suho & Seojun | Love Me Wrong [+1x16] Lacrima 2021-02-18 | Does every editor sell their soul to satan to get HD Episodes of True Beauty and this is why I'm the only one who has terrible quality in my edits? Lmao. No for real, this frustrates me so much and makes me feel lots of self hatred because I hate it when something isn't in HD. :/ And I don't know where everyone gets True Beauty in such good Quality? Because I have Viki, and I pay for it (so I have a premium/VIP Membership) but even if I screenrecord, the quality still is way worse than from what I've seen in other edits. :(I actually made a Jugyeong and Seojun Edit after Episode 15, was almost finished and then Episode 16 came out and I felt depressed for a while because the show ended with Seojun still not having moved on and still suffering so I haven't finished that edit until now... after 2 weeks lol. But I really felt the need to edit Suho and Seojun again because of that scene in Episode 16 where Seojun sings Se Yeon's song that Suho produced and Suho looks at him all proud and sad- and Seojun is crying. :,) This was the moment they finally started to heal from the loss of their close friend and it was somewhat closure. The edit ended up way more as a BL edit than I intended it to be (since I didn't include many scenes that were about Jugyeong in here like in my last Suho&Seojun edit) but I can't help that they have such amazing chemistry. And they DO love each other. Platonic Love exists too. You can see it in their eyes.For me personally their relationship was the most important part of the show and probably the reason why I loved the show so much. They both went through so so much, way too much than a normal person could handle but in the end they still found to each other again. :,)Also please don't take too much meanings from the songs I choose lol. I adore Isak Danielson and discovered this song yesterday, got goosebumps and decided to edit with it. I rarely think about the lyrics when I edit. Seojun & Jugyeong | Somebody [+1x14] Lacrima 2021-01-30 | I've been trying to render this the whole day and now I feel super frustrated because after it finally worked the quality went down and I hate it. :/Okay yes, I am totally Team Seojun. I love and adore this man/character so much. I think he kind of became my comfort character because every time I see him, even if it's just a picture, I feel warm and happy inside. :,) And LOOK... I also like Suho a lot and he deserves Jugyeong and has been nothing but a perfect boyfriend the last few episodes so I actually feel super bad for being Team Seojun? Then again I don't really have to feel bad since we all know Suho and Jugyeong are endgame so I can enjoy the Seojun and Jugyeong crumbs while it lasts. :,)OMG the last EPISODE was soooo good. I adore Angst and I loved how Seojun asked Suho for permission to confess to Jugyeong. Seojun = Best Boy.I screamed when that part after the 2 year timeskip came up (and at the way he looked at her!!! He's so fucking in love) since I recently read the webtoon and that scene was exactly like that in the webtoon which means that we possibly get a kiss in the next episode. (Seojun takes her home and kisses her.) And it would make sense since in the preview his friend is telling him "You loved her for years and now you lost your temper" and Seojun looks kind of worried. I can just PRAY for a season 2 because otherwise the showmakers following the webtoon route wouldn't make any sense at all. They showed Seojun trying to move on 2 years ago, so it would be extra painful to just have that timeskip and make Suho and Jugyeong get back together in the next episode already. That would crush Seojun and also dissapoint me, since Seojun has been there for her as a good friend for the past 2 years and he deserves some love too. My hope is that we'll get a season 2 and a few episodes of Seojun and Jugyeong being a couple. I am fine when they don't end up with each other since I know they won't. Also I'm a bit evil since I want to see that breakup from the webtoon on screen where Seojun begs her on his knees, crying, to not break up with him. Because I enjoy suffering apparently. I actually think there is a big chance that we'll get a season 2. I think they had 2 different endings in mind for season 1 and it depended on how popular and successfull this drama would be on which they would choose. Suho & Seojun | Dynasty [+1x12] Lacrima 2021-01-22 | Sorry to everyone who hasn't watched "True Beauty" yet and thought this would be some cute romantic bl couple edit and instead got an angsty Bromance Edit. Haha. Even though I would say that it's lowkey queerbating at this point, but I can't really complain since we all know the show got made after the webtoon and that Suho and Jukyung will be endgame to 99,9%. I must say that I really didn't expect to enjoy this show so much? Because it actually has almost everything I disliked in kdramas so far... like the female lead always falling and getting caught by one of the guys lmao. I hate that. But this show did it so much that I got used to it. It actually could be made into a drinking game: Drink every time she falls or stumbles. No but like 3 episodes in I was hooked? I don't understand what it is but I can't be the only one since literally 70% of my Twitter Mutuals, the ones that usually just watch BL Dramas, started watching this drama. It's super funny at times and it has so many characters you'll love. I actually was Team Seojun and still am, because *cough* second Lead Syndrome *cough* and he's just such an incredible character, every episode I find myself loving and appreciating him even more. :,)But I don't have anything against her being with Suho. They're happy together now and I started growing fond of them recently too. They are so soft and wholesome. (I actually also loved them in their early days, when they would be nerds and talk about comics) What I didn't like was when Suho told her to quit her job because seojun would be there, despite her needing the money (thank god she didn't and did not let him decide about her life) + when he followed her into the cinema when she had a blind date??? (I don't think that was in the webtoon, so the show just decided to portray him 'stalkerish' for no reason? I must admit that scene was quiet funny and emberassing but if you think about it, it's super problematic)But the main reason why I enjoy watching the show nowdays is Suho's and Seojun's friendship and I am just so glad that they're back to being friends again. I adore to see them being goofy together + to mention it AGAIN : they have Chemistry. Eunwoo and In Yeop should get casted in a future BL Drama. Periodt.I really hope the show won't take the direction as it looks like right now... that her whole new school will bully her for her no-make up face? That's not a message that a show should give their young audience? And it's not realistic to get bullied by literally everyone. But at least the preview shows us how Suho and Seojun will help her and be there for her.Also DAMN how hot was it when Seojun threw that bully's phone against the wall??? And how he threatened her? Zhou Shu Yi & Gao Shi De | Hypnotic [+1x02] Lacrima 2021-01-12 | Found a new show to watch:D Everybody that knows me knows that I am a sucker for the Enemies to Lovers trope because of the TENSION but you know what's even better? Enemies to Lovers where one of them has been actually in love with the other all along! Because of the YEARNING. And this show has it. The storyline isn't anything new but they make it up with their chemistry. Plus both characters are confident which I really like in couples. I actually like both of them a lot already. When I saw the main character, Zhou Shu Yi, the first time, I thought he would be my favorite because somehow I really like men with moles below their eyes or on their nose? Plus I like his competativeness and his kind of tsundere persona? His annoyed face actually reminds me a lot of Type from Tharntype haha.And Gao Shi De! His puppy eyes and the yearning and the love in them is almost too much to handle to look at. He has to listen to the person that he loves how he loves someone else WHILE also being hated by him. :,( (not for long though)The show is not unentirely unproblematic since Gao Shi De is basically blackmailing the main character into spending time with him but I think I am already so used to seeing problematic stuff happening in thai/taiwanese etc. shows that I'm kind of used to it. :/ Also from what I can tell Gao Shi De wouldn't actually force him to continue spending time with him if he would actually feel like Zhou Shu Yi feels uncomfortable. I'm glad that I started the show yesterday, since there are 4 episodes left so that I can feel excitement every week which I haven't felt since ITSAY ended. Teh & Oh-Aew | Our Last Summer Lacrima 2021-01-08 | Okay so I saw an ITSAY edit on instagram with this song and since Mamma Mia! is one of my all time favorite movies since it's such a 'feel good' movie that I watch with my family once a year to drunkenly sing the songs together, I decided to make an edit with it. :,)However, I really dislike the result for some reason. My reasoning is that the edit is so simple but that doesn't really make sense since all my edits are simple and I don't really use effects and stuff? Idk maybe it's because that instagram edit used an edited version of the song which now seems to fit way better. :/Right now I almost don't want to upload it since I am so unhappy with it. I want to be able to like my edits enough to wanna rewatch it over and over again and that's a feeling I just don't have with this one. :(Anyways: I miss 'I told sunset about you' and am super curious if Part 2 will be just as good. Psychopath Diary | Play with Fire Lacrima 2021-01-07 | This edit turned out way longer than it was intended to be lmao.So I watched this drama like 2 weeks ago and fell in love with it. Dong Sik deserves everything and more and he kind of became a comfort character for me? It's super satisfying to see him scaring people that treated him like shit before. I can't help but ship Dong Sik and In Woo lmao. It's clear that In Woo had some deep fascination with Dong Sik back when he thought they are the same kind of people. And for some reason characters that try to kill each other all the time DO have lots of sexual tension haha. I don't know if it's just me, but I don't ship Dong Sik with Bo Kyung at all. I adore their bond but for some reason I don't feel anything romantic between them and just see them as great friends. Bo Kyung is super awesome though. During the first episode I thought I would end up hating her and I thought she was a bit annoying but that quickly changed and I really started to appreciate her character. Also can we talk about In Woo's laugh? I am so conflicted because it sounds super cute but then again it's also a bit creepy because he's a serial killer haha. I love it so much.I can't imagine anyone else acting as those two characters, the actors fit perfectly. I recommend everyone to watch this Drama! You might be surprised if you watch it after this edit, since the show is actually pretty funny and often times pretty lighthearted. It's hilarious! Fatou & Kieu My | Tiny Dancer [+6x02] Lacrima 2020-12-28 | I watched "Rocketman" with my family yesterday, so I really wanted to use an Elton John Song for them. :,)I stopped watching "DRUCK" after Season 4 and then yesterday I found out that Season 6 is about a poc lead with a w/w storyline so I quickly caught up and watched Season 5 (since they already have scenes in there) and the episodes that are out so far from Season 6 and I AM IN LOVE. Okay first of all- I didn't expect that Season would be so good? And I actually fell in love with Nora and Josh so I might make an edit about them soon too haha. :D Plus I cried a lot since that season is about the main character having an alcoholic mother, and having problems with dissociation. In real life I am the alcoholic and this is what I put my sister through (not to that extend, I usually am just quietly watching a show when I drink but my sister can see it in my eyes) and I personally struggle from frequent dissociation so that hit close to home. :,)And OH MY GOD I Adore Fatou so much. I already loved her in Season 5 so I am so incredibly happy that she is the main character in this season. The way she looks at Kieu My makes my knee go weak and her voice sounds so soft and like velvet. She and Kieu My are so fucking pretty HELP.During Season 5 I didn't see any sign from Kieu My that she likes her back so I was skeptical but then that last scene in Ep 2 of Season 6 happened where they both watch a zombie film and Fatou gives her tips on how to talk to girls and I SQUEALED. It was so hard not to close my eyes because the tension was too much. I think DRUCK showed perfectly how dense Sapphics are on when a girl is flirting with them and how awkward they are in real life most of the time. And I totally relate to Kieu My because I have no trouble doing stuff with boys or flirting with them but ... girls. I am as scared as she is lol. I can't wait for wednesday when they will hang out again NOW that they KNOW they are into each other through tinder. Tan & Bun | Million [+1x01 - Manner Of Death] Lacrima 2020-12-02 | Watched episode 1 yesterday and it was awesome. I am so grateful that we'll finally get lgbtqa+ series with a plot that is not just about coming out and accepting yourself. (Which is also great obviously! But it's refreshing to see one with a different plot)We all know Max and Tul have lots of chemistry and this show proved it once again. Max's eyes are so intense and expressive OH MY GOD. This edit includes scenes from Episode 1 + scenes from the trailer to have more content to work with. I loved the first episode so much that I signed up on WE TV for money to watch the second episode already which I will do now. (Didn't want to before editing this because then I would've been sad to not be able to include the new scenes yet)While Tan is obviously involved somehow... right now I think either the innocent intern of Bun is the killer or that Inspector. Max acting as a killer would be super hot though lol. I watched some episodes of "Together with me" in the past and while I could see their chemistry: it just wasnt enough to keep on watching but I know Max and Tul and from what I've seen of them online so far; I love them a lot already. And it helps to know that they are super close in real life and are just really comfortable with each other and love to work with each other. :,)I am so excited for this show; have been for a while. Which is obviously the tutoring and the fact that both were enemies (/rivals) for a while. BUT what drew me to them both was their intense sexual tension and chemistry so I decided to make a short edit which focuses on the "YEARNING".
