BTD6 Race #350: Tactics and Spell Casting in 1:56.31 Lawrence Zhou 2025-09-02 | ***shove op***this time with pretty much fully with my own strat, thanks leo for suggesting front merm and pointing out that it's dumb to have a whole merm in the back just for two moabs, turns out i could get t4 merm before shove if i tried which made money very fast and even popped some moabs***this is not the best strat as suplierz got 1:54 by skipping lota but at least i figured out a good midgame but i wasn't gonna spend more time figuring that out smh***i put reactor on land for funny but i think it stole the alch buff from lota oops, also so that i could sell both towers at once by selling lota but then i ended up selling reactor first anyway smh***lost a few frames cause plord wasn't perfectly positioned at the entrance and i didn't spam the ability button with mouse too smh***very lucky lota slap when buying it that vaporized several moabs at once but i had other runs that weren't as close to dying where i trolled clean on, i couldn't push much lower anyway as i had to hook r60 to afford lota, and i also failed clean in dumb ways 3 times before getting this run smh (i was nervous and it was really showing with how often i failed the alch micro last day but thankfully only spent an hour on monday)***about 90% of the rng was from the start, you could put boat in the same spot and it would give different results each time and sometimes the left side just didnt' shoot for one shot while a bunch of blues went past and then you get no eors, also needed to do good damage to the r50 moab to not get overwhelmed in the back too soon and sometimes i even got the ink on it but luckily it wasn't always needed, i couldn't delay r50 too much though or else i don't afford shove for r40, but it was satisfying seeing merm and boat pop moabs in the 50s at the front though even when they were 5x strengthif you want to support me you can use code sgb in the game shopMusic:EQRIC & Joanna - Can't Handle My Loveyoutu.be/JbmnL7yvr28

[BTD6] How to Optimize Hard Boss Runs - 2500% Speed Elite Bloonarius #61 (Cubism) in 84 Tiers (DNF) Lawrence Zhou 2025-08-19 | if you want to support me you can use code sgb in the game shop***no more speeding up parts to 10x for this one, also will prob do another one of these with the 33 tiers phayze cause it was much harder than 34/35 and i also ended up not the t3 there so idc as much about speeding up "boring" parts as i would for a t3 vid, i put the notes here instead of captions to not cover up the gameplay as much but don't expect this if you want more detailed guides cause can't fit them all in the description then, main thing people can't keep up with on 10x speed is how much i deposit into imf but there's other things you might have never noticed in all my runs that are much more noticeable here***without easy price and ben you don't get imf without collecting but it's fine, it's rare you get brf and oc this early but it's fun when you do***ideally i wouldn't back out on 35 but forgot to sell ben so rip city buff on that one trap, i backed out on a lot of other rounds if i retargeted trap to stall but that's fine cause it had barely anything in it so less money lost compared to the gain from stalling for crates/nomics***stalling leads for chinook crates on 37 and 38***since i can't get ub on 49 i can get the extra brf first and still get ub on 51***delaying oc on 49 to time it to get an extra crate***i tried to finish each round by using ub on brf and then end the round when ub back up to use on central so that it would be active on both at the same time during the round, and stalled moabs to do this every round***tier 2 was much tougher with only one stack on mad and no glord cause of the bfbs, i beat it a few times nll but ended 61 as well those attempts so couldn't take them***phoenix on 67 was accident good thing it can't hit camos***messed up on 70 and 73 stall (70 doesn't stall cause it's regrow whites xd and 73 i targeted trap poorly and it could reach a bfb early...) and lost some crates on 71 and 74 oops but couldn't go back to 62 cause event was close to ending and i had to try to get as far as i can before entry disabled and no retries, too bad tier 4 ended up being super annoying with the ddts***prob could've saved a few thousand on cash slider for engi cause didn't calculate exact amount needed for d42***didn't get many attempts on tier 4 but it definitely works with d42 engi, the damage was there if i sold the last turret sooner to hit the skull earlier so that i didn't die to ddts, or if i had started placing turrets on 97 so that they wouldn't still be on cooldown start of 100 oops (not sure you get an extra turret in time tho i think it comes up right after the boss exits)***min wiz degree for tier 5 was 73 which i think my eco was on pace to get, wiz spots were placed so that all of them would receive town buff and oc aura when i used power glove on central and there's no boomer to steal pops although engi might steal some if the rounds are strong enough idk***minscore was prob 82 or 83 by cutting dart and maybe marine too was possible but idk, i tried to cut opolis and felt like i was a good 50k or more behind on eco already by tier 4 but with opolis d75 was possible so idk

[BTD6] Boss Rush #33 - crazy things happen to Dreadbloon when you have these towers Lawrence Zhou 2025-08-14 | ***total time was under 41 minutes which is very fast given we didn't have 15 people***i love when i get to abuse edef bug***i'm so out of form and didn't prep for this cause i was focused on elite bloonarius but at least we had tack ice and spact on every island and boomer for ai, maybe i should've skipped to work on my boss run but vc with others is fun too so i decided to do it***scores look inflated cause we had 13 people for first three islands and 14 for last two, f in the chat for team leader garr who couldn't make it to the run, we have 3 people with 1000+ cause i5 dread moment where you need the most pops to beat the island but dread is super easy to quickly reach high scores on compared to any other boss so stuff like 90 pops per run happen often (last time we had dread i5 like three people all got 400+ pops over four runs on it and the island went down very fast for the number of pops needed, that time there were three 1100+ scores, remember the average score if there's 15 people is 671)***i1 i shouldn't have died so soon, there was plenty of time left after my second run but definitely not enough for a third one***i2 i lost a run and having primary rocks get around the map and then block the tacks midrun cost me some time too...***i3 pretty shitty map and combined with blast...even with clash only the first 15 or so were super free then boss goes out of range of everything and i had no idea what i was doing here***i4 i died early on accident a couple times oops...didn't have a good idea of what to do late but should've gotten 4 runs over 70 if i didn't die early on some of them***i5 i died at 40 twice cause i overspent instead of saving money to not have to sell to afford shredder for 41-50, and support rocks from 80 ran through my smines while primary ones blocked everything else and caused me to die there no matter what, i went for tackgon for fun once but fell short of 120 (i had 166k unspent cause tack was popping stuff so fast) on that run and there wasn't enough time to go that far in all runs nor did i have enough lives, the one run i did get it i was able to buy it during death animation (how did smines die in the 90s) to not die during the paragon animation and it got 20 more pops pretty fast, don't ask why i had two tier 4 ices cause i couldn't see under the boss cause i had big bosses to be able to see elite bloonarius better when it was moving so fastif you want to support me you can use code sgb in the game shop

[BTD6] Boss Rush #26 but we beat all islands in an hour (ft. spirit of the forest) Lawrence Zhou 2025-05-08 | if you want to support me you can use code sgb in the game shop***finally was available to participate in a br speedrun again***mad op***i think people struggled a lot with the last two islands and it was hard to get to the needed pops once everyone was out of tickets so we went barely over an hour (i2 was about 5 minutes or so?)***i1 was horrible, boss got way too far before i got a decent setup and i also didn't get ai defense sooner (recurring theme throughout all islands tbh...), and of course the delay at the start really hurt me especially with it being on the fastest island, def could've finished that one a bit sooner if many of us knew about the pending thing sooner***i2 recording is missing but it went terribly as well, i did 302 spacts and used pontoons and moved them around the map and they did pretty bad cause ai ate them up even after i bought spiked mines on them, i tried to use a wof for ai defense but it got deleted by magic rocks, so by the time i had 25 boss was halfway through the map (i forgot moar existed oops) and i gave up and sold for edef and it somehow got to 40 twice cause map (spa pits) was so long it takes years to die...***i3 felt the worst of all, early so slow i kept dying to bleed bloons...turns out trying to saveup to 032 spact with a single 022 is super slow and inefficient (getting a 102 and selling for 032 is much faster), and i forgot about pontoon so i couldn't hit anything in the middle at all and took four short runs instead with edef to quickly snipe like 10 pops by itself due to how weak the boss is that early...given that each person needs an average of 124 on this island for us to move on somehow this was still good enough to not be completely throwing or slowing the team down too much and even i2 i somehow got around the needed amount of pops)***i4 and i5 i made a full recovery on, these islands needed longer runs to get to the needed pops (48 per run on i4 and 56 on i5 assuming everyone does 4 runs), the short map also means the boss moves slower so it stays in spact range and you don't have to move them as much***getting an oc or mad ability up on blast was basically impossible lmao, also really hard to die when you can't sell smines...at least spact held the exit well enough to not die early, tried spirit on i4 but not sure if it was worth there or needed since only one exit, i also forgot to get glues to tank meteors on the first two runs oops***i5 i really enjoyed, somehow we had enough time that i did six runs cause the first run i was too greedy and died early which caused the skull spawns at 40 to come out too far ahead and kill me, the key was to be able to survive to spirit decently cheap and get it asap with a couple spacts kept, then you were safe from dying and the rest was free, could've tried to chain mad to go faster but my micro not very good for that, the spacts at the exit were a pretty effective safety net too to never die to ai, three druids for early was risky but i was able to maintain about 20 lives consistently after the spawns on 10 pops each time so i stuck to it, could've gotten spirit faster if my spikes didn't keep getting eaten by leads though...i also had enough time that the fifth run could've gone to a full 90 pop run again but i panicked and sold for mad too early thinking we needed to get done faster (and then got another 50 done after that still), for the average person this island would be hard to get to 56 especially on fast forward due to the multilane, but once you got spirit you were invincible for a while :) the three full runs i got that didn't suck all had the boss make it to the exit without early deaths (only one dash from the bads at 90 pops) so def pushable given how slow our ending was once most people were out of tickets...if you have a team with 15 people each doing 4 runs that add up to less than 3350 total you would have to swap alts into the team (each of which has 10 minute delay) to finish for speedrun purposes or wait until the next day to be able to get more points and unlock the rewards for beating the islands...or everyone does more runs and improves on them but at that point it's faster to swap alts for fresh runs***definitely should've been able to get close to 380 on i5 with how much time we needed to beat it, i streamed the island to the team in the vc right after we finished and got 98 on full fast forward with no optimizations, forgot to set sauda to strong on run 3 and smines to close on the end of run 4 and the 98 after too (so on fast forward you should easily get 100 then you prob die to fbads and boss dashes past exit)
