Last year I was approached by the folks at Open Realms (makers of the game Forge Quest) about a unique project. Together we set out to make a fantasy power metal/ballad album wherein four heroic chickens must gather together to save their world from the Astral Beast. It's a 9 track album featuring an amazing cast of singers and musicians, with Joachim "Torzelan" Sandberg on guitars, and vocals by Stu Block (Iced Earth/ex-Into Eternity), Shayne Hawken (Room 333), Chalsey Noelle (ex-The Rabid Whole), and Eileen "EileMonty" Montgomery as the voice of the Astral Beast.

I know this project is different from the type of music you're used to hearing on this channel, but I'm really proud of it and I hope some of you check it out.

I'm impressed by Loudr for finally providing a pain-free way to administer distribution of covers. DistroKid are also an amazing service and I still use them to distribute all my originals. In order to remap the Maschine I used a program called ControllerMate by OrderedBytes. It's a pretty useful little program and there's a free trial d that lets you map out up to 10 buttons/commands if you want to play around with it.
