I'm working with Golden Fluid Acrylics, metallic paint, and lots of water to build layers of rich, expressive color and texture. The wet strength tissue holds up beautifully—even with all that moisture—and the metallic resist reveals dramatic, swirling patterns that echo Van Gogh’s iconic style.Luckily, it’s summer, and the hot sun helps dry these saturated, water-heavy papers in no time. Once dry, the results are luminous, bold, and packed with texture—perfect for collage, journal pages, mixed media, or standalone art. Instead of dealing with traditional spray paint, Barb and I took Golden’s High Flow Acrylic and put it into a spray bottle. The result?
