Doctor Who Stock Footage: Clock | DWReVFXDWReVFX2015-11-19 | This video is based on the clock spiral from Billy Hanshaw's brilliant Doctor Who title sequence, used in Series 8, 9, and presumably 10.

Sorry I didn't add any instructional voice over or captions, and sorry it's rough in the editing department. I'm very limited on time these days, and I'm not comfortable putting my voice out there.

All rights belong to the BBC.Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Rewind Title Sequence Concept (V2) | DWReVFXDWReVFX2023-11-18 | Only one more week to go!
There were a lot of ideas in the comments of the previous version that I thought were really good, so I incorporated some of them here: - A lot of people wanted to see some classic title sequences - A couple of people suggested that David Tennant's name should momentarily glitch into Ncuti's - No-one wanted the 60th anniversary diamond logo, but I wanted to see it lol

All rights belong to the BBC.Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Rewind Title Sequence Concept | DWReVFXDWReVFX2023-10-22 | This is something a little different than what I usually do since I didn't render anything from scratch for this one besides the logo. To summarize my thought process for this title sequence, I thought it would be cool to sort of revisit all of the new who title sequences, to symbolize how The Doctor himself is revisiting an old face (and I secretly hope he'll revisit his others in the 60th, too).

I rendered this on my PC this time (I usually use my mac laptop) and I think there's some setting I need to change in After Effects because this looks very compressed from what it's supposed to be.

All rights belong to the BBC.Doctor Who 60th Anniversary TARDIS Concept *SPOILER WARNING* | DWReVFXDWReVFX2023-09-08 | *POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW* . . . Having seen the alleged leaked video of the TARDIS set under construction, along with the concept render and fan-made renders based on it, I've been super excited and impatient to see how the TARDIS is going to look in motion, with all of the TARDIS-y sounds. How are they going to light it? How is the time rotor going to move?
So, here's my concept. A couple of things. I'm almost certain that the top part above the time rotor will spin kind of like in this concept. I'm guessing that's why it's a separate piece from the rest of the ceiling. The lighting is totally speculative (although RTD himself teased "Purple and teal and topsy-turvy", and I'm guessing the roundels will change colors semi-frequently), and so is the time rotor. The time rotor shown in the leaked concept render looks super placeholder-y and it's very hard to see in the construction video, so I highly doubt it'll look anything like what I have in this concept.
A few things I may improve on in the future, keeping in mind that I'm super new to 3D modeling: - The console needs work overall. The controls are literally all made of basic cubes, triangles, cones and cylinders and look bad, and I don't like how dimly lit the console is. - All of the cool, spirally ramps shown in the leaks are missing, so I'd like to add those. - All of the lights should be recessed into the walls and ceiling, but out of laziness, I just slapped them on top of the walls instead, so maybe I'll fix that. - Unlike in the leaks, the walls in my concept are entirely flat, and so is the lower-level floor. Same reasoning as above, just laziness on my part. - I definitely don't like the lighting of the time rotor, and I'm unsure if I like how it moves and looks in general. So I might redo it altogether. - The whole thing is kinda squished down, and as a result, I think the ceiling is too low. I don't think I'll be fixing this, as I'll have to redo a lot of other work and I don't really have time for that.

All rights belong to the BBC.Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Title Sequence Concept | DWReVFXDWReVFX2023-07-25 | Here I am again for my once-every-few-years upload (we don't count that last one, which I've now unlisted as I wasn't very proud of it).
I've been very, very excited for Doctor Who lately, something I haven't felt for at least a few years, so I thought I might dust off After Effects and make something I'm a little more proud of. This time, since we're celebrating the 60th anniversary this year, I took several cues from classic who. There's a bit of the 3rd, 4th, 5th/6th, and 7th doctor's title sequences mixed in, along with a loosely accurate version of the 1st/2nd doctor's TARDIS (I have very little experience with 3D modeling and textures, so it's the best I could do). On top of that, I styled the time vortexes based on the Eccleston/Tennant title sequence, which based on marketing so far, might be what RTD ends up doing for the 60th/beyond, and I made a transition between the Doctor Who logo and the TARDIS near the end akin to Matt Smith's first title sequence.
--------------------
Everything I used to make this title sequence: - After Effects CC - Trapcode Particular w/Fractal Noise (vortexes and stars) - Red Giant Real Lens Flares (80's lens flares) - Element 3D w/custom models (TARDIS exterior & interior, Doctor Who logo, and episode title)

All rights belong to the BBC.Doctor Who Title Sequence: Twice Upon a Time | DWReVFXDWReVFX2017-07-25 | Because this episode is gonna be about both the 1st doctor and the 12th, I thought it would be cool for the title sequence to be in the style of the 12th doctor's, but with the quality, color, special effects, etc. of the 1st doctor's era in the 60's.
PS I know I haven't uploaded for a while, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's another long break between this video and the next video...sorry guys.
