If your Christmas was blue, hopefully you can get a bit of joy from this mini remake!
I actually have multiple ideas for holiday-themed animations, but this year I've been very behind schedule, so I had to stick with something small. Hopefully the coming year(s) will give me the opportunity to see those videos come to fruition.

But where did they go wrong? With Ark taking on such a crappy game, while Leon reaped all the glory, it's understandable there'd be some underlying jealousy... but perhaps there's more to it.
This animation is a reinterpretation of my segment from an old collaboration video, simply titled Resident Evil: Successful. Like with some of my other recent animations, this idea dates all the way back to 2007, so I'm very happy to finally make this REMusical fully realized. And hey, it's nice that Ark's finally getting work besides RE: Survivor! After more than a decade, I'd say he's earned it.
Guys, I don't know wtf I was thinking, but the first version of this video is ATROCIOUS. Absolutely atrocious. I genuinely don't remember if I thought that squashed resolution was somehow acceptable, or if YouTube screwed it up at some point during a past update. Fortunately, I still have the entire project saved so that I could fix it up properly.
Despite being a remaster, the last thing I wanted to do was go full Star Wars Special Edition on it, so most everything is left untouched other than the video quality itself. One exception was the credits, which desperately needed to be optimized and shortened. Also cleaned up some of the sound effects, as I recall the majority of feedback saying that they were overbearing, but they're otherwise left the same.
I hope you enjoy this version of the video, and thanks everyone who actually put up with that previous sad excuse of an upload. Y'all deserve better. 🙏
You guys enjoyed the drawing, so I figured why not spend a day's worth of effort into stepping it up? Now I can say it's the dumbest thing I've animated, too.
Author's Note: Wesker quacks because he sounds like a duck.
⭐ You want Shooting S.T.A.R.S.? I'll give you Shooting S.T.A.R.S.!
Though there are a handful of Resident Evil themed versions of the Shooting Stars meme, they're all made strictly with game footage, and none of them actually feature a S.T.A.R.S. member. So this needed to be done.
I dig this song, and just wanted to make something fun and stupid, regardless of the relevance of the meme, or lack thereof. So consider this a high quality shitpost, but hopefully you enjoy it anyway!
Despite the light-hearted nature of this video, I really do think they butchered Chief Irons' character (among others) in RE2make. But hey, at least there's a lot to make fun of as a result.
This is a short freebie to make up for my prolonged leave of absence. It was originally going to be part of a bigger RE2make animation, but I had the issue of both wanting to include all of my ideas for this segment, but also not wanting it to drag on in the final video. So it seemed like a perfect little filler to have as a quick one-off instead.
Hope you enjoy the animation, and thanks for watching!
This skit is a concept by indeimaus, who generously asked me to collaborate with him on his SUPER RESIDENT EVIL II project! The final video is nothing short of amazing, so go check that out if you haven't yet, not to mention all his other work!
So you still wanna hear what I think about RE2make?
Okay, you asked for it...
HOLY CRAP! IT ACTUALLY DIDN'T SUCK!
The game still has its share of flaws, but considering the awful reputation the previous OTS games have as a whole, this is definitely did a good job regardless. It's impossible to cover every detail in this animation, so please take a moment to read the review I made to accompany the video:
Keep in mind, this doesn't negate the fact that I was disappointed in Capcom's decision to ignore the concept of original REmake. I still firmly believe that this was a lost opportunity to give an amazing final hurrah to the classic style. That being said, if the modern games and remakes have to be done in OTS, RE2make's style is the way to go. None of the previous OTS/FPS Resident Evil games hold a candle to it.
As always, please be respectful towards the opinions of others. (As long as they're not being a dickhead about their own, that is)
Ever since its official reveal at E3 2018, many people have been asking for my opinions on the Resident Evil 2 Remake... so here it is, in animated form!
It's sad but true... I am personally very disappointed with how the RE2 Remake is turning out to be. I've tried very hard to push my bias aside, and simply be excited for the fact that it's going to exist. But it just doesn't work that way, I'm afraid. With such missed potential and an ultimately broken promise, it's difficult for me to feel anything but betrayed by the whole situation, at least with what's been shown so far.
This animation alone couldn't possibly cover all of my exact reasoning for feeling the way I do, so if you have any questions or are further interested in my thoughts on the RE2 Remake, please take a moment to read this opinion piece I made to accompany the video:
Please also keep in mind that I don't think the RE2 Remake will be a ”bad” game by any means. If you're hyped for the RE2 Remake, there's no reason to take this video personally. My opinions are simply my own, and I don't intend to offend, discredit, or sway the opinions of anyone who may feel otherwise. Videos of this nature are always gonna have a touch of comedic anger, and that little jab at ”TrueREfan98” is satire that's only intended towards the fanatical types who lose their shit at even the most innocuous of criticisms.
Whether disappointed or hyped, your opinion is valid. (As long as you're not being a complete dick to other people in the process, that is)
To compensate for missing the deadline on the RE2 Remake Reaction, I give you a remake of Devil May Cry (In a Nutshell)! It was actually a surprise to me to see that the original video is in my top 10 most viewed animations, so I hope you'll enjoy this in the meantime.
As soon as I finished everything possible on the reaction video, I decided to work on this immediately, admittedly prioritizing speed first and foremost. Not only is it convenient to have the original video as a template, but I also opted to utilize a lot of stock images from pixabay.com to help with the creation.
Any feedback on this, whether positive or negative, is appreciated. If the stock images look too jarring or spoil the "mood" of the animation in any way, please don't be afraid to let me know. Quality is otherwise my biggest priority, so it would help to know so that I can make future videos the best they can be.
Welcome to the REMusical Predictions, where truth is stranger than fiction!
In the decade of its existence, there has been an array of similarities between the REMusicals and official Resident Evil releases. While these "predictions" are likely nothing more than crazy coincidences, this was a topic that felt interesting and fun enough to showcase nonetheless.
This style of video will not be replacing regular animations. This is more of a one-off experiment that I've wanted to make for a long time, and wound up being even more fitting to make, what with the announcement of the Resident Evil 2 REmake. So if this type of video doesn't suit you, don't worry, regular animations are already in progress!
This video does not intend to claim that the REMusicals were the first and/or only videos to predict concepts from the Resident Evil franchise. If you've ever created fan content that also wound up "predicting" something from Resident Evil, feel free to share your story in a comment.
Thanks for watching!

If it was creepy for Claire, it's creepy for anyone!
Even playing RE2 as a kid, I always thought it was both funny and creepy how Kendo addressed Claire specifically. This was long before even dreaming I could animate, so instead I'd imagine the scenario where that dialogue was instead used on Leon. Now it's finally a reality!
But actually, this idea has been done before on a few occasions. The other videos generally have edited audio over in-game footage, but I even managed to track down an old Flash animation that predates YouTube itself.
So while I didn't know of this video's existence beforehand, I still can't claim this to be a terribly original idea. If you wanna check it out, here's Baron-Fredrico's own rendition of the Kendo encounter:
I apologize for how long it took to release this video despite its short length. This was due to some Patreon issues that I didn't properly plan ahead for, but from this I've learned how to better manage my terms and conditions to prevent any other such delays.
Thank you all for your support and patience!

The Left 4 Dead franchise may be past its peak of popularity, but this is another idea I've had planned from as early as 2009. I've loved the L4D games since I first played them, though a few things held me back from making this video right then and there.
Not long after getting the ideas for this crossover, Oney's Left 4 Speed animations were released. Having been hassled in the past for my Devil May Cry video being too similar to Egoraptor's, I decided to hold off and work on other content instead. Not to mention, I'd only just recently released Montage Rumble 3.5 which also hadn't gone over terribly well.
After that, the rest was history. I ended up going on hiatus, and lost all of my REMusicals data in the process. But now all that waiting is finally over! The bright side is having all the latest equipment to fully realize what I had pictured in my head, and thinking up a bunch of new skits to include as well.
For all intents and purposes however, this is basically the last planned Montage Rumble style video. As of now I don't have a very large collection of short ideas like this, so consider this a send off of sorts. Thank you all to everyone who's enjoyed the Montage Rumble series over all these years! And don't worry, there's still plenty more regular REMusicals lined up to be worked on.
On Halloween of 2008, Ashley Graham hosted a party. The Halloween Special: youtu.be/3CVw4XlCYGI
For her costume, she dressed as "The REAL Ada Wong" in hopes of seducing the object of her desires, Leon S. Kennedy. Little did Ashley realize, but she inadvertently predicted the horrific and laughable events of Resident Evil 6... an actual Ada Wong clone.
This after-party doesn't really seem to be turning out as Ashley was hoping... and what other terrifyingly terrible realities could possibly be awaiting her?
Don't let yourself be fooled by her innocent demeanor...
This video has been a long time coming. Even more so than all the delays I met over the past few months. This video was actually intended to be made and uploaded some time in 2011.
Once I finished Survivor Episode 5, I had planned on making a full comeback with REMusicals since I'd been on a lengthy hiatus. I had animated up until the part where Ashley grabbed the golden egg from the snake, and then... total harddrive failure. Not just that animation, but all of my base artwork, backgrounds, everything; my entire computer was essentially wiped clean. Among other things, that basically put me over the edge into remaining on hiatus for another three years, opting to focus on school instead.
As crazy as it is, a similar scenario almost played out again, literally at the same snake scene I was animating. My computer's power source blew out, and I was without a computer for a good while, which delayed this video quite a bit. Thankfully, I've since learned to keep numerous backups of my content! And let me just say, I'm happy as heck to finally have this animation out of my head, and onto the screen!
Technically a REmake, but also a weird-ass continuation of sorts?!
The original video, oddly named "Loituma" had so many embarrassing errors, namely in the actual title and credits. I've been wanting to do a fun new version for a while, but constantly working on longer REMusicals and Twizted Tale didn't leave much time for it.
I've actually been working on a bigger REMusical for a while now, but I ran into some technical difficulties that put the video on hold for nearly two months. Now that I've got my computer up and running better than ever, I wanted to give the new hardware a try and make a little something in between. It's already been months since my last REMusical upload, I don't want people thinkin' I went and died again.
Old memes are old but I still love them. And Chris finally got his revenge!
I joined YouTube on August 8th, 2006. The first REMusical was uploaded November 4th, 2006.
This animation is a REmake of the original trilogy of REMusicals that were first featured on this channel over 10 years ago. I know the date of the anniversary has already passed, but I wanted to do something special for the channel regardless, even if it had to be quite late.
A lot has changed over all this time. For Resident Evil, for YouTube, for me, and for everyone that's supported my content. 2016 was a rough year for most people in general, but personally, I had a wonderful and fulfilling time here with all of you while making these latest videos. So I hope the coming years will be better for everyone else, too!
Thank you all so much for 10 amazing and crazy years on YouTube. Many of the people I met through here, and the interactions I've had, helped shape who I am as a person today. Both the good and the bad, all had a share in building my identity and confidence in myself. It means the world to me, and I'm glad to still be here animating these silly videos!
Happy 10th Anniversary to the REMusicals, and to all the awesome fans!
Special thanks to Andrew The Emo Wolf for also supporting this video! Due to an error on my part, he was not properly credited at the end of the video.

I got this idea quickly after finishing up Research feat. William Birkin. Despite having started working on it back in June, I unfortunately became extremely ill for a few months and was unable to continue it for quite some time. So I apologize for such a short video after such a long while!
This musical is a bit in the same vein as Welcome to Africa, where some of the events and characters may not be totally accurate. I first started creating ideas for this when Beginning Hour was fairly new and there wasn't much information available. I didn't really want to change anything despite all the new information that was released over time, 'cause that's simply not how I roll.
As for my opinion of Resident Evil 7, it's difficult to say. I'd like to be cautiously optimistic, but I've been burned in the past before. Let's just say I hope it lives up to everything that Capcom has been promising and turns out to feel like a true, classic Resident Evil title. Though in the very least, it would be cool if it could just be a decent, scary, first-person experience.
They tried to come and steal his research, but he said no, no, no!
This video has been a long time in the making; Longer than you may actually think! I've had the idea to feature William using this song since 2010, though back then it was under slightly different circumstances. The original idea showcased William alongside Ellis from the L4D series, both being hopped up on their drug of choice. I'll likely still use this idea someday, in a short snippet.
I wanted to have this video done a lot sooner. 2016 was honestly a really tough year for me though, between finding work, my fluctuating health, and tragedy within my family. I wasn't able to work on this animation nearly as much as I would have liked, but there were long periods of time where it was more or less impossible. So, I really appreciate everyone's support and patience.
Thank you to all the patrons who helped support this video!

PLEASE NOTE: PayPal Donations are discontinued. But support through Patreon and Ko-fi are still available for contribution!
--- This is a small animation to help promote my Patreon account, as well as other forms of support for REMusicals. These services are completely optional and I will continuing animating regardless of the outcome! I love creating REMusicals, despite it taking longer to do these days.
It's unfortunately difficult to find the time to animate nowadays. Between work, frequent hospital appointments, and other daily responsibilities, I generally spend my little remaining free time with loved ones. Drawing and animating is a very solitary hobby. As much as I love it, I also don't want to isolate myself from the people closest to me.
In the small chance that Patreon support reaches a high enough amount to keep me financially secure, then I could think about animating full-time and produce more content for all of you. But unless that happens, I'm afraid animations will remain infrequent. There are too many other priorities for me to take care of, as it stands.
- Pledging is completely optional but very appreciated!
- If you are underage and wish to pledge, please have parental/guardian supervision.
- Comments that attempt to slander or falsify my intentions will be removed immediately.
I've always gotten a kick out of these two since first ever playing Resident Evil 2. Pretty much nobody ever listens to Leon throughout the story, but Ada is by far the worst offender. The sheer amount of times he asks her to wait or desperately calls after her, cracks me the heck up.
I've had this idea for a little while, but was unsure whether to include it in a longer montage or think of more ideas for its own video. I know it ended up a bit short, but in the end I felt it deserved its own upload. Enjoy these two dumbasses!

The sixth installment of the Resident Evil: Survivor series. The director went on another damn hiatus, but the participants don't beat around the bush this time. They want to know the big reveal and they want to know it now.
New faces, rising leaders, separation anxiety, gripping drama, and uttermost stupidity. This is Resident Evil Survivor.
For a while I was debating whether or not to continue RE:Survivor as an animated web series. I was thinking of turning it into a webcomic instead, but ultimately decided against that. I think with Vegas Pro by my side, I can accomplish my original vision with far more ease than in the Windows Movie Maker days.
The next episode is currently being drawn. I cannot say exactly how long it will take, and I can't guarantee that it will be the very next upload. If it starts taking too long to animate, I'll probably release shorter and/or easier to make videos in between.
But I definitely plan on working on it when I have the free time to do so. Please remember, complicated videos can take me upwards of 2 months to complete even if I work on it almost every day of that time span. Your patience is appreciated!
Babysitting can be stressful. Babysitting during a zombie apocalypse might just drive you insane...
In the REMusicals and Survivor series, Claire has always been one of the more normal characters. She tends to be a voice of reason among all the stupidity the other characters showcase. But there was always this one underlying trait she had that I was very well aware of, but never had any ideas to make a main focus of. Until now! As far back as the original "Montage Rumble", I'd joke around in the comments about how Claire was a bad babysitter for losing Sherry so often. That wasn't enough material to span an entire video though, so into the montage it went.
But years later, Claire went on babysit another little girl, Rani from the Degeneration movie. Instead of limiting a video to Sherry and Rani though, I decided to make it a tribute of sorts to all the little girls of the Resident Evil series. So we also have Lily (Gun Survivor) and Lucia (RE Gaiden) thrown into the mix, even though Claire hasn't ever interacted with them before.
I actually got the idea and began drawing this video immediately after "No Hope Left" on April 8th, 2014. However the previous video had me a little burned out, so for a few months I mainly focused on normal artwork and game programming. Operation: Opera and Rekt Evil were animated and uploaded as quick fillers while I worked on Bad Babysitter in the background. So imagine my surprise on September 6th when Claire was announced to be in Revelations 2... babysitting another young girl!
The after-credits bit was originally planned to be a scene where Leon finds a flyer for Claire's "Baby-Sitting Arrangement Association", then grins mischievously at Ashley. He'd then dump her off at the office where Claire gets all creepy on her. But after the REV2 reveal, I decided to instead animate "Rekt Evil" first and end it with a teaser for "Bad Babysitter". I couldn't resist having Moira for the ending instead, since the coincidence was so unbelievably perfect.
--- Congratulations to BLAPstalker03 for winning the REMusicals Cameo Contest! You can catch his zombified cameos at 1:04, 1:46, and 1:50 in the video.
Also congratulations to the two runner-ups, MicMachan121298 and ThePsychoticEnigma!

Yo, Resident Evil just got rekt. But not by Capcom this time around!
I had this idea sitting in my head for a long time actually, but for a few reasons I held off on it. First I was thinking to put it in either a new Montage Rumble or as some sort of Double-Feature video, but in the end I didn't feel it fit into either category. I also didn't wanna seem all cheap using a current popular song while it was still hot news. I genuinely enjoy Wrecking Ball and didn't want it to come off as a trending sorta thing.
I know this is another short video, but I'm thinking this might be something I start to do when it's been a month or two between uploads. I don't really want my channel to run dry again since I've been enjoying the return so much! No worries, I'm still working on that slightly longer and more complicated REMusical.
Maybe that Easter Egg is foreshadowing...

William Birkin may have been Alexia's rival in science... But soon she will find she has new rival in a different field!
This is just a small idea I had that only took 3 days to make. I've been working on a much more complicated REMusical ever since No Hope Left was uploaded, and it's been taking longer than I thought it would. So to let everyone know that I haven't vanished again, I just wanted to share a little filler in the meantime.
Ever since it was only a mere trailer, I've had tons of requests asking for my predictions, opinions, and thoughts on none other than Resident Evil 6. While I did in fact post a few articles regarding all of this, I've continued to receive requests to share my opinion à la my [Resident Evil 5] video.
Okay so clearly these kinda videos aren't actual reviews, but hopefully it's entertaining nonetheless. To sum it up, I didn't like it. However, if you'd like to see a somewhat more proper review of RE6 to understand where I'm coming from, feel free to check out my DeviantArt journals.
"No Hope Left"... Couldn't have said it better myself!
This crack pairing has always been mentioned in passing. Quick scenes in Montage Rumbles or a short Easter Egg tagged on at the end of a video. It's about time they get their own damn feature!
Confused?! This is a running gag that started all the way back with the original Resident Evil Numa. Towards the end of creating that video, I was wondering who to put as the final couple for one of the last beats of the song. Well, there was Carlos... but Jill was already taken by Chris. And Ashley, who was outright denied by Leon in favor of Ada. Well shit son, let's just put these two kids together, slap a WTF over them and call it a day! Many viewers found the 2 second scene to be hilarious, and has since been included in many of the videos following.
Sorry about the credits being half the video... But I did try to at least keep it interesting!
Special thanks to 10ShadowBlaze01 for showing me the song.
Brought to you by popular demand! Jill and Leon are blue and lovin' it. Chris however... And of course, who could forget that sourpuss Ark?
This has a lot of personal nostalgia for me for a lot of reasons. The obvious being the video this originates from, Montage Rumble 2. But yo, story time, even. When I was a young teen and completely infatuated with the Resident Evil 2 commercial, I did eventually get the game for my birthday and accordingly shat my pants. I also was completely diggin' the latest radio-hit: Blue by Eiffel 65. I got their CD, Europop, as a birthday present as well. It just became one of those things where I associate that album in general with Resident Evil 2. It's one of the reasons I picked that song to begin with.
Allow me to present the very best of the REMusicals!
As voted for by the fans, I decided to give an animation makeover to some of the most beloved REMusical scenes, dating back from over 7 years of Youtube memories. While some may be disappointed in another "REmake" of sorts, I can guarantee the next one will be all-new content for sure! Along with wanting to make a fast-paced, upbeat video, I also used this as means of drawing the characters of Resident Evil in my updated art and animation style, preparing myself for future videos.
If some of your favorite scenes weren't included, who knows? If there's ever enough demand for one, I might make a followup with any other favorite parts you guys can think of. I'll be sure to create a poll and post a notice on my Youtube, DeviantART, and Twitter accounts. Until then, enjoy the trip down nostalgia lane! And If you're new around here, take a look through a window to the past! Primitive as they are, I think the older videos still got a certain charm to 'em.
Since I have new artwork, new upcoming videos, and a new style, I think that calls for a new intro, too! I'm actually really happy with how this turned out, I managed to get the effect I was going for with good ol' frame-by-frame like the days of old.
I'm just posting this as a little teaser and reassurance that I am working on some new videos. There has been a little change of plans though. I'm still working on the storyboard for an all new content video, but in the meantime I'm redrawing and reanimating some old favorite scenes of years past. What's YOUR favorite REMusical scene? Let me know with a comment!
Note that this 17 second version is only exclusive to this teaser. The intro for actual REmusicals will be shortened considerably.

Unlike my past videos, the characters and animations in this one were drawn traditionally. Traditional as in pencil, pen, paper and scanning them. I colored the line-art and created the backgrounds on Photoshop. I think the days of MS Paint may be over, I've sort of lost touch with being able to draw with just a mouse, and the conveniences of Photoshop and layering are very welcomed luxuries to make animation easier.
The drawings in this video are slightly outdated, however. I began the line-art for this in November 2012 and periodically worked on it around my full-time job. During the winter, I found out that I have a chronic illness. I've had to keep an eye on it with near-constant hospital visits. So between all of that, animating a video was a little difficult. Despite everything going on, I do still enjoy coming up with REMusicals and plan to keep working on them!
Thank you for everyone's continued support, even after all this time!
The fifth installment of the Resident Evil: Survivor series.
It's been 3 years since the director went on hiatus. The only problem was, she left everyone back on the island. Abandoned as castaways for real, their prayers were answered when the director finally returned to bring them out of limbo... or maybe it wasn't such a good thing after all.
Familiar faces, terrible new monsters, unlikely passion, gripping drama, and uttermost stupidity. This is Resident Evil Survivor.
--- In the year I've been on hiatus, this took about 3 months to make. I've had a very busy life lately, so that's why it took a while to complete. Plus it's also got quite a lot more detail than most previous videos, from character art to backgrounds.
If the subtitles or any text is hard to read, I apologize. Try watching the video in HD. If that isn't available or doesn't help, there are subtitles over the hard to read parts. A lot of the text was along-the-way experiments, and going back to change the it in the beginning of the video would have meant reanimating everything. So again, sorry if it sucks.
"Tune in next week" shouldn't be taken literally.
--- Big thanks to all of the fans who patiently waited not just for a video, but a Survivor video!
And a special thanks to everyone who donated, this video literally wouldn't be possible without it. Since I'm already enrolled and ready to go for college, the remaining funds went to the new computer I have, plus all the little extras. My old computer could hardly even boot up Photoshop. So seriously, thank you everyone who helped me out.
The plot of the original video was just basically Resident Evil characters chilling at home... and falling in love. It was kind of stupid, and at the time was far too similar to the basic line of Resident Evil Numa, only unfunny.
This time I decided to take it to a new level, and for a few different reasons too. One being the obvious; the original idea kinda sucked and had no good material for me to work with. But also, as you may notice, this is strictly RE0 through RE:CV. In a way, this isn't just a video about fictional characters being in love, but my own personal love for what Resident Evil used to be.
My hopes are that this video piques the interest of younger gamers to actually go back into the series timeline and play the originals. Or in the very least, look into the storyline and how it all began.
My apologies who those who already know my feelings on RE5.
But I get so many requests and questions about it every day, despite DeviantArt pictures, journals, and replies... the requests and questions just keep coming. This is my final word on the matter, and anyone else who asks after this is just going to be ignored. I really hope it gets the point across!
I'm not trying to hate on individuals who like RE5 or anything like that. My only beef is with the game itself and CAPCOM, not the people who support it or enjoy it. If you can't understand that, then that's your own problem. If anyone gets stupid about it, I'll just block them. We're all entitled to our own opinions... and this is mine.
The positives about the game is that it's sometimes kinda fun to play, if not for the broken AI partner. The graphics are fine too. The story, which I care about significantly, makes my body and soul ache in unnatural ways. So yeah.
Okay, so it's not technically a musical more than it is a skit of sorts.
For those who don't know, John is a character mentioned in RE1 and RE2. The only picture of him you ever see is in Adas inventory, as a special photo item. He is Ada's old boyfriend who she basically used to get inside information about Umbrella for her mission.
Don't get me wrong here, for some reason I like Ada, even though she is a sneaky little beyotch. I think I like her for that soft side that says: "Hey! You know what? I'm gonna fall in love with this rookie guy over a span of 24 hours!" I love that shit.
But I could never bring myself to get over the fact that in all the missions we see her on, she insists on using her whole real name. Don't spies usually try to like... not do that? And when Annette says she did a "background check" on Ada, I imagined her finding something like her Facebook account. "LAWL hai, I'm Ada Wong and this is mah next mission!"
To those saying that "Ada Wong" isn't her real name based on the RE3 epilogue, I'm pretty sure that was just her being metaphoric and melodramatic.
PRE-GAME RELEASE INFO: Here it is! An RE5 video. I'm sure some of you already know my stand on the upcoming game. For those who don't, here it is:
I think this game is gonna be a cruel joke, just like RE4. Although I must admit I am kind of excited for the possible Sherry thing. But aside from that, meh. CAPCOM is being lazy and too spontaneous. They just make up shit for the characters to do, totally unplanned.
So if this video makes no sense to anyone, it's pretty much how I think the game will play out, in a nutshell. No one REALLY knows why Chris is in Africa, so I assume Chris himself doesn't know. Hell, I don't think CAPCOM even knows why the hell he's there! They were basically like "Lololol afrika iz teh beginnin of lyfe so lets put chris ther."
So I dunno, I guess some Pre-RE5 fans might either love this, hate this, or hate it after they read my opinion. But it's mine and it shall not change. So to anyone out there getting angry, hopefully a few sticks can be removed from a few butts and you can just enjoy a goofy animation.
I decided to make this video because it's short, sweet, effortless, and can be enjoyed by some people. I remember on my Caramelldansen video I got a lot of shit for "losing my talent", "being unoriginal", and "destroying Resident Evil". But if you hate animation memes, mind the title and go elsewhere. And if you like animation memes, I hope you'll enjoy this!
I'd've worked on a better, longer, more original video, but my computer can't really handle big projects anymore. I'll have to wait until I can get a new computer or something. But hey, a video's a video... right?
The account known as MyImmortalBatch, which hosted the dramatic reading of "My Immortal" is now closed, with all videos removed. One of the voice actors went ballistic and closed the account without anyone else's consent. I regret to say that all of the recordings have since been lost to us.
---- This is the trailer of a script reading by some friends of mine. They take a book-on-tape approach, reading of the worst fanfiction ever.
The original story is by Tara Gilesbie. It is unknown whether she was a troll or serious whilst writing this. Whatever the truth may be, the outcome was pure hilarity. The original story plus other information can be found at this link: http://myimmortalrehost.webs.com/chapters122.htm
I do not do any voices in this video. The voices are performed as followed:
mjfan84: Ebony (Enoby) Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way/ Professor McGoogle/ Author's voice/ various others/ Director/ Epic Audio Mixer http://www.youtube.com/user/mjfan84
At the time, the donations I received peaked at about $1,500 which helped me greatly in buying my plane ticket to begin with. Once school and the apartment were paid for, the remaining funds went into fixing my computer. It couldn't have happened without everyone's help, and videos such as Survivor episode 5 wouldn't even exist.
During my time at school, I came to enjoy making original comics as opposed to REMusicals, not to mention I needed to focus on my studies. So, I had to go on a hiatus during that time. But I haven't given up on the REMusicals! I'm back in action as of 2014.
The method behind the donation pool featured in this particular video was closed in 2010, but now there are new ways to support the REMusicals, such as Patreon, Ko-fi, and art commissions.
Yes, Christmas. I didn't feel like being politically correct for this video, so since I don't celebrate 'em, there's no Hanuka, Kwanzaa, Ramadan and whatever else there may be. But happy those, too! I know it's also a little late for Christmas, but I didn't have much time to work on this since like... it was the Holidays and I have family and friends to be with. At least it wasn't as late as last year!
I wouldn't exactly call this a quality video, but given the situations I was in while making it... My computer was slowly dying, WMM barely worked, was constantly freezing, and of course it being the Holidays and all. I didn't have much time or patience to devote to this. I tried my best as always, though. But I think my computer is at its wits end, and I can't exactly afford another one at the moment.
Enough sobstory.
I hope you enjoy the gags and giggling, and that you all had a Happy Holiday. Unless you're Jehovah Witness. Then like... hope you had a nice, uneventful day.
Why is this special? Because it's not like a normal REMusical I guess... and it takes place on Halloween. The best holiday ever!
But yeah, rather than making it a regular REMusical, this is technically more of a skit thingy. It's more similar to that of RE:Survivor, though there is a small musical number at the end.
I was personally little dissatisfied with the over all idea, which is why this video was delayed from last year. In hindsight, I should have put more thought into the background music and sound effects, because in that respect it's a bit on the bland side. But hopefully the silly writing and antics can hold the video over.
Maybe in future Halloween Specials or even random videos, I'll have the costumes put to further use, 'cause a lot of things could have been done, but it would've dragged on too long if I put every possibility in this video alone.
Enjoy!
---- *2017 SJW damage control edit: Carlos' costume was a joke about him being confused over his accent and heritage. The RE3 instruction booklet specifically says he is from South America, but that his nationality is unknown, and that he has "Indian blood" on top of everything else.
Well, I've been working on this for over a month now. I started almost immediately after the Survivor Intro Remake. It took long since as you can see, it's rather repetitive, so I would get bored and take breaks from it. But I tried to stay true to the Caramelldansen spirit.
I saw the one for Brawl and it inspired me! Devil May Cry had one as well, so why not Resident Evil? With that being the case, I decided to make one myself! Granted it's not nearly as smooth an animation as seen in the normal Flash videos. They're way more professional looking than mine, but I tried my best in the end.
The writing behind Luis is supposed to say 'Ballistics!' and then 'Wangpaled'.
This is just to let the people know my Survivor flame has not yet been snuffed. This was a lot of fun to make, seeing as how the original opening was so meh. I'm not working on a new episode just yet, but I definitely haven't forgotten about the series!
I've had this idea for a while now, but between holiday busyness, independent projects, and hanging with my friends, it took a while to make. But I'm pretty happy with the result!
The animation isn't as high quality as Resident Evil Excited REmake, but I tried to make up for it with cool effects thanks to Photoshop! Yes that's right, I finally own Photoshop! Hooray! So I played around with that a little to get some nice backgrounds and effects.
I know it's late but I hope you enjoy it!
Hope you had a Happy Holiday, and a Happy New Year!
This video was going to use the Partridge Family song: I Think I Love You. It featured Chris, Leon, and Steve trying to confess their love to Jill, Ada, and Claire respectively.
This video was abandoned due to repetitive ideas. It hadn't been long since Resident Evil Numa had been released, and fans at the time were complaining about the fact that my videos focused too much on relationships rather than survival and zombies. About a fourth of the way into the video I decided it would be best to just stop.
---- RE4 In a Nutshell Started May 24, 2007 - CANCELLED
This video was going to be similar to RE Movie in a Nutshell. It was going to be done in separate chapters, similarly to the actual game.
This video was abandoned because I didn't want to use my real voice in videos for a certain time. There was an attempt to gather voice actors to help me with the video, but only 3 of the tryouts proved to be good quality. And some entries took so long, I began to lose interest and canceled the project.
I also don't even like RE4 anymore, anyway.
---- RE- Stayin' Alive Started August 20, 2007 - REFERENCED
This video used the song Stayin' Alive by the Beegees. It was a 70's-themed video with no actual point besides killing zombies and disco dancing.
Whenever I tried to continue with the animation, I would get totally stumped for any ideas. I only got a few seconds of the video done in the end. I'm going to try and pick it up again some day. I dunno, I guess we all have our artist's block moments. I'll try to make this work again some day!
---- Resident Evil Outbreak Files Started September 19, 2007 - CANCELED
This video was going to have voice clips from a game called Neverwinter Nights, and featured the characters from Outbreak in various scenarios.
Using the crazy voice acting, it was going to feature Kevin, David, Jim, and Cindy in a random situation, simply trying to fight off zombies and stay alive as they shouted very silly and loud things to each other. I abandoned the idea because I got a little ahead of myself. I thought I had a really good idea, but when I actually started making the video, I realized it really wasn't all that funny so I quit while I was ahead.
