0:17 Team 1
Much easier than special armor insane, thanks to Dress Hina. The difficulty, for my personal case, actually came from outside of the game, which I'll talk more in the team 2 recap.
I believe you can finish team 1 before Wakamo starts moving.
The first time I tried, I couldn't get HP low enough, so I ended up just finishing phase 1 with team 1. Then I couldn't get 2 team clear.
I got lucky this time, and improved the score quite a bit.

So, it looks like there's some sort of a glitch with Hina where she just freezes after the third EX shot. It existed for Toki in Hieronymus, and for Dress Hina in Gregorius, but I haven't really had a problem then. With Toki, I've never seen it myself, and with Hina, it happened a couple times, and I could just restart the run, and it would be fine.
This time, it was much bigger problem. After numerous restarts, it kept happening. On top of that, it was lagging like crazy. This costed me a ticket or two.
I hope it gets fixed for the global version. I don't have enough data points, but here are some things I did that helped in case anyone else also gets into this situation.
1. Going back to the lobby instead of restarting. This helped sometimes, but after another restart, I got the glitch again. And it didn't even help in other times.
2. Changing Hina's position. Someone online mentioned the problem could be related how close Hina was to Hoshino, and they didn't see it after moving her to 1 or 4 position instead of 2 or 3. This did help for me, but Hina was often outside of Hoshino's buff range, which kinda defeats the purpose of having Swimsuit Hoshino.
3. Team 1 didn't finish off phase 1. This was the run in the video. For some reason, there were less lagging, and I didn't have any problems when team 2 didn't start in phase 2. So maybe performance is also related? Maybe I should have tried reducing the quality.
Like I said, those are not enough data points to corelate anything. Either way, I was able to get 2 team clear, and I was very happy with that. I thought I had to give up on it due to a bug, and that felt terrible.

By far the easiest of the 3. Maybe I should have waited for Maki's debuff before using Mika. Also, I think if I could get the missile guidance faster, maybe Miyu's basic skill would line up better. Either way, I was happy with the score, especially considering how little effort it was.

You know the drill. How much hair are you willing to sacrifice?
You need to basically hit all crits from Maid Aris. And I think you can get through the phase 1 with 1 less EX skill?
Then Utaha kept dying from damage, so even phase 2 was RNG.
I couldn't get phase 1 and ended up clearing with 3 teams previously, so I really wanted to get 2 team clear. It wasn't much of an improvement ranking-wise, which was somewhat disappointing. But it still felt pretty good.
You may have noticed that I have already cleared Lunar with Druid before (because I didn't unlock the palette in this video), and that's part of the reason why I went with Lunar this time. I've done once, so I should be able to do it again, right?
Few comments on the run itself. I still don't know how to properly fight Mink. And I can't believe I got away with that one dodge in Orn fight. The power of small hitbox loot is real.
If I remember correctly, you could re-apply emerald secondary's decay before it wore off in the demo. I remember it this way because I thought it was strange that none of the other debuffs worked like that. But it doesn't look like that's the case anymore, and I only noticed it on the last boss fight, so there may be times where I completely miss the activation.
I think emerald special is really strong for Druid. While it's not affected by loots that change cooldown, skills can affect it as you can see in the video with opal primary. And loots that reset cooldown also work, and it gets really strong as you summon more than 1 at a time. It's definitely my favorite upgrade for Druid.
And lastly, I had to go do something in the middle of the run, which is why there is a pause right after the Red Darkhouse starts, and why the clear time is over an hour. I'm glad I didn't just restart because I was able to clear this run.
0:17 Team 1
There is a 1 team clear strat, which I tried, but I thought it was going to be too much for me, so I chose to run a much easier 2 team strat. It replaces New Year Mutsuki with Swimsuit Izuna, so it's similar to insane strat.
I don't think there's much to look at. Clear adds with Mutsuki, and cycle Wakamo.
I guess one notable thing is the start of phase 2. If the boss is on the left (from player's perspective), it's still possible to clear my using Yuuka's EX more times, but the score will be much less. It is much easier if the boss is on the right. If you don't need a clear, you can reset here. If you are going for a clear, it won't be too bad to continue even with a bad pattern.
2:24 I didn't think Wakamo could survive, so I thought I'd try getting out of the AOE (even though I'm pretty sure it's not really feasible), and was going to reset. But Wakamo survived, so I just went with it.
3:21 I was hoping to get another Wakamo EX activation, but it was too close to the end. If you are optimizing score, I don't know what's best, but don't spend too much time with team 1. At some point, it would be better to retreat and finish with team 2.
3:43 Team 2 stats
3:58 Team 2
Again, not much to look at. Keep Wakamo's EX skills up, and it should be easy to finish if you are already here.
0:15 team 1
A quick insane clear. I tried to figure out the strat myself after looking at clear teams at first, but then I ended up looking up a video. It was simple, and I'm surprised I didn't think of that. Basically, you ignore the adds in phase 1 with Swimsuit Izuna's focus fire debuff.
In phase 2, I probably didn't need to use so many Yuuka's EX skills. If I didn't waste EX meter on that, the clear time would have been much faster.
I cleared hard a few times now, but I actually had not realized the last boss was on her own stage until I noticed my life was at 5. I should have known with the stage name flashing and all that, but it never occurred to me.
Anyway, I think I have most mechanics down, and I get hit because I make mistakes, and not because I didn't know what to do except maybe Pale Keep and the final boss. I think I know most, but I need to figure out some more.
My DPS felt a little low going into the last phase, so I wasn't 100% sure I was going to get it this time or now. And when my life got to last 1, and the boss started enrage sequence, I thought I was done for, but I barely cleared it.
And the adapt palette is pink! I always wished she had a pink palette, and I guess it was behind a hard clear.

Most notable bit about this strat is using Ako's basic skill to heal the relic while it has healing debuff. Around 46 second mark, I use Ako's EX skill, and that delays her basic skill just enough. If you use EX skill too early, then it doesn't delay the basic skill, and if you use it too late, then it cancels her basic skill (which wasn't going to work anyway), so the timing is important. But it's not super tight, so you should be able to get it in few tries.
Another thing is using Kokona's basic skill and EX skill back to back for the heal while . I have UE50 Kokona, but I don't know the minimum required to pull that off. At level 90, I'd assume it's not that tight, but I remember in previous seasons, it would not activate the relic by hair if you didn't meet the required stats.
At the end, maybe I should have used Nonomi's EX skill to finish it off. I knew Hoshino's buff falls off around there, so I thought I'd just refill it, but looking at the video now, I think the bosses HP was low enough I wouldn't need her buff anymore.
1:56 Heavy armor stats
2:14 Heavy armor
I don't think I had to consciously delay Ako's basic skill in this run. It did, however, involve curse RNG. I got lucky that Maki got it, then Kokona immediately healed her, but I had to restart quite a few times. I believe you need it on Kokona, or it's a reset (unless you get lucky like I did).
I'm guessing the fight is over with Kazusa's last EX skill if you get good RNG. I didn't want to waste the luck I had because I had been resetting so many times up to this point, so I just went with it.
Oh, and I really thought Mika was going to be picked here even though her stats aren't ideal for this fight. She gets picked in whole lot of other fights where her stats aren't ideal, so I thought it was going to be the same case, bust I guess I was wrong. Kazusa still strong.
4:40 Special armor team 1 stats
4:58 Special armor team 1
I basically gave up on good RNG, and just started healing the curse off in this run. I don't think it was that far off from a good RNG run considering that. I think I found another example of less RNG dependent strat, so I might try that to improve my score.

Gym uniform Mari fans, rejoice! She was popular pick the first season of Hieronymus after she was available, but then she was dethroned by Kokona pretty fast after that in the top ranks, so in global version, I'd assume Kokona was picked more than Mari.
Well, I guess the torment after, both characters had their turns.
Anyway, this strat is fairly simple. And ideally, you'd finish the fight here. I didn't. Likely I didn't do very well with team 1.
Maybe I could have timed the ult and groggy, but I don't think that's necessary.
11:02 Special armor team 3 stats
11:19 Special armor team 3
I had to improvise a team here. I thought I'd just go in with whatever and still clear, but it turned out, Hieronymus is quite durable without specialized team.
At first, I went with Atsuko, but she'd move out and no one could get her heals.
Umika was picked because why not. I wasn't in my team in Fury of Set fight, but I always thought her rocket carts were fun skills.
Speaking of Fury of Set, I did clear 100th floor just before uploading this video, but I didn't have a recording of it. And I had to constantly pause and check my notes, so I need to practice little more to be able to play well enough to record it. But it's ending soon, so hopefully I can get it quick.
I thought I'd main Sniper when the game comes out, but I've been liking Ancient Rabbit so much, so I think it's going to be my new main (until I change my mind again)
I haven't mastered hard, but I thought I'd upload something while I keep working on lunar, and you can see that here. Also I felt like I kinda cheated at the end because of my sapphire special upgrade, giving me 6 seconds cooldown on defensive.
I kinda got unlucky with the stage rolls because Red Darkhouse is my least practiced stage, and King's Arsenal is my second least practiced stage. But I did get Scholar's Nest, which I should be good from all the demo playthroughs, but I still got hit anyway.
I'm having so much fun with this game. Got some friends and we beat 4p Scholar's Nest on lunar. Then I cleared it solo and now working on Emerald Lakeside.
I do plan upload at least the area bosses and the ones previous to that for mechanics reviews once I get good enough to present myself.
What do I mean by that? Dancer does a lot of things. She has random procs, special is pretty strong single hit, while the other abilities are multi hit. Secondary is not that far off of primary, so it's easy to switch to secondary build if you pick up a decent loot.
And this means she has a lot of option when picking loot. Only thing she is missing is debuffs, but no one has the out of the box in the demo.
This run was particularly good. I got really good loot/upgrade combo. I wonder if it's going to be harder to find a good combo like this with more loot in the full version.
0:17 Team 1
Here's a better insane clear. The answer was ignoring the towers, which is exactly what I did in grand assault, so I'm not entirely sure why I didn't think of this sooner.
Possibly it's because when I first tried it, Kazusa couldn't hit the boss. The solution was surprisingly swapping Chise and regular Ui. It felt kinda weird because Kazusa didn't even move.
Anyway, I didn't go for the the best possible time because I'm like an embodiment of "good enough", and this is good enough to demonstrate this particular strat. Maybe one thing to note is around 0:49. Using Kazusa's EX skill as soon as possible there actually got me faster time to get to phase 2 in average. This one, I was just testing it out, but then I got a clear.
So the best possible outcome is ending the fight with Kazusa's EX around 1:18 with better crit and stability, and if you are going for platinum with insane clear, I'd assume you have to do so. For example, the score I got is not good enough for platinum. Of course it depends on the server, but keep that in mind.
And that's pretty much why I play torment because it's much easier to get platinum by just doing "good enough" in torment difficulty.
She is also pretty simple, but in a different way from Heavyblade. While Heavyblade is simple in how you play, Druid is simple in how you move around.
You want to use the secondary and special abilities in between primary, but since she doesn't have any resets, you have a pretty static rotation. And other than secondary, the attacks aren't going to miss unless the boss moves really fast.
This means there's not much reaction involved with Druid gameplay, so you can focus on movement and positioning for mechanics. Her defensive also helps a lot in that sense. So I guess I'd recommend Druid for people who have hard time dodging bullets and mechanics.

I ended up upgrading Kotama for a couple reasons. Most obviously, I wanted to try out the new strat. I think it's possible to rent her, but it turned out, no one had her up in my club or friends. And that's actually the second reason. I wanted for the people in the club to be able to rent her.
This strat might actually involve the team 1 retreating after the first tower, but I haven't tried that yet.
I know I'm doing something wrong when my team 2 does a bout a million or 2 less damage. I should probably go look up other videos to figure out what I'm doing wrong. And I think it can help more than just the missing damage because then I might be able to have more freedom picking team 3, and get better DPS overall.
I need to get a better insane clear, and I need to actually finish the limit break. And Rabbit and Steel is coming out. It's going to be really busy for me.
The simplicity comes from her abilities. Optimal play would obviously be much more involved, but just spamming primary can get you pretty far with this character, more than others. It also hits in a circle, so you don't have to worry much about horizontal positioning like Assassin.
On top of that, her defensive doesn't have buffs associated with it, so you can save it for true defensive purposes.
Like I mentioned above, for a character with such a simple kit, her damage is not low at all. My fastest last boss clear was with Druid, and fastest overall was with Dancer, but all runs combined, I'm pretty sure Heavyblade has the fastest in average. Other characters vary more with loot and upgrades.
Judging only from the demo, I'd definitely recommend Heavyblade for new players, but the full version might have a better choice.
Another thing that feels hard to me is her speed. I often feel like she moves too fast. I actually take speed reducing loot which I never do with other characters.
In this game (at least in the demo), you can't reset debuffs on enemies until they fall off. I actually wasted poison ticks after I got the special upgrade. With Assassin, I really couldn't pay attention to it over other things, but normally, I would delay special for better efficiency depending on the situation.
It took me 7 or so attempts, which is in line with my expectation. I took both vitality and regen potion at the shop, and as you can see, without either of them, I wouldn't have cleared it.
0:18 team 1
Just a quick one as usual. I don't know how the strat is supposed to go, but I do know it's not this. It's likely already out of platinum range, and if not, it's not going to survive until the end. I'll probably post a better one later.
I haven't tried torment yet, but I'm gonna guess you need UE40 Camping Kotama for the optimal strat, and I don't think I have enough resources to get there.
I thought I already uploaded clear videos other than Dancer, but I guess I hadn't. The full game is coming out in a week, so I thought I'd upload clears with other characters while I wait.
The thing is, apparently the single player game is going to be way different between the demo and the official release, so these won't matter much in the long run, but I still wanted to upload them.
First up is Wizard, mostly because she is the first character in the list.
In my personal opinion, Wizard was hardest to play. I'd say that's because of her primary basically stopping her. You know, a caster problem. It took me something like 4 attempts to clear, which is way shorter than I expected. I really thought it would take at least 10 attempts.
Another thing is her defensive. It puts a field that gives you haste, so ley lines from FF14 if you played that game, and has the same problem of needing to be strategic where you put it down.
What I think of Wizard's characteristics are high damage special, and percentage chance to reset it.
Maybe I should have picked kosode for my last loot, but I really can't turn down special burn when playing Wizard or Dancer.
0:18 Team 1
This is pretty much 1 team clear strat, so should be good enough for a reference. That said, this strat was overthrown by something else on the last day, so keep that in mind.
The hardest part for me was getting the groggy. The range was quite big, so a lot of time, I didn't get it.
Big mistake was at 3:00. Should have been Reisa instead of Koharu. But I did need Koharu to keep Mine alive long enough for her basic skill. Once I cleaned up the mistakes, I was able to get a 1 team clear.
3:55 Team 2 stats
4:14 Team 2
I was surprised how much damage Saya did. I was actually hoping someone would come up with Saya strat. Maybe I'll start caring less about the highest score I can get (as long as I can still get platinum), and just try suboptimal strats myself.
0:18 Light armor team 1
Just like the last time, I got caught with other things. And also just like the last time, I don't have insane clear for the heavy armor.
The most popular strat I found for insane difficulties all involved Mine dying at the end, so you can spam the damage EX skill. It involves Mine with lower stat, and I kinda didn't want to rent a lower stat Mine. I didn't like that aspect of Princess Connect. Hopefully Blue Archive doesn't follow that path and reducing start ranks becomes the norm.
What I did is similar to the top rank strat, and I think it is possible to hit Hina's all 3 EX skills whit 5 debuffs at the end because that's what I did later to improve my scorfe, so you might not need 3 star Mine for this strat.
1:58 Light armor team 2 stats
2:16 Light armor team 2
Like I mentioned, I have no idea what I was doing. Just needed a clear. In hindsight, I don't think you need Mina at all here. Maybe not even Minori. Well, if you get 1 team clear, you don't need any of them anyway.
3:35 Special armor team 1 stats
3:54 Special armor team 1
I think I followed the start pretty well until 5:06. Mine needs to be delayed quite a bit there. When this works, you don't even go to the last phase, and even though I needed a team 2, my eventual best score was also retreating there and finish with team 2.
The reason this run is especially bad is because I was still practicing, and I just missed the window to retry when I got wiped. Basically everything went wrong at the end.
6:49 Special armor team 2 stats
7:07 Special armor team 2
Again, I don't think Mina was necessary here, and I don't think Iroha was needed, either. Summer Koharu should be enough.
0:14 Team 1
The cool thing about this strat is timing Iroha's EX skill. When timed right, the laser will target Ibuki, then she gets on the tank. Apparently the character is still there as far as the game sees, so she takes the laser while being safe.
There were few more timing related EX skills. It looks like Iroha's basic skill timing is dependent on Ibuki's EX skill. I couldn't get it to hit the first set of Peroros until I watched someone else's video. In this strat, using Ibuki's EX skill around when the EX meter is at 7 worked.
2:55 Team 2 stats
3:12 Team 2
to be honest, I'm not sure if I was doing it right. But I did get 2 team clear, which was way better than my previous run, so I'm taking it for now. I think there are couple more days, so I'll see if I can get better score.
So I went right back to mock battle to get a footage, I couldn't get it at all. I even had to change skill timings, too. I don't even remember what I did the first time anymore. But I was able to get this run, finally.
Anyway, you can try different timings. This is just what worked for me. The important bit is to get Iroha's basic skill to hit twice during the dps phase with the buffs active, and get good crits leading upto that.
Now, time to grind torment difficulty...
I always wanted a single party content with longer time limit with bunch of mechanics. I was actually even more extreme than what we got and wanted a 7~10 minutes content. So basically an MMO raid.
This is pretty much closest we have to an MMO raid, with constant AOE damage and healing, multiple mechanics, and fixed enemy skills.
So, let's talk about how it works. The most obvious thing is the team size. There are 6 strikers and 4 specials, and the max EX meter is 20 instead of 10.
In this mode, you have 5 groups of 25 floors, except the first group, which only has 24. I'm guessing they wanted to group them in nicer numbers, but then I think they should have just started from floor 0.
Anyway, you don't have to clear all 25 floors to advance to the next group, but will need to clear the highest floor in a group to unlock the next one. And each group enhances the boss in some way.
At the moment, floor 104 is the highest floor anyone ever cleared legitimately. I haven't gotten past floor 100, but this mode runs for about a month, so I'll keep trying to clear floor 104.
And as for the boss, there are few important bits to note. First, EX skill damage is reduced by 80%, meaning most of your damage is coming from auto attacks and basic skills. That's why every one uses Sakurako here.
Second, the lightening that hits the obelisks will reduce damage output by 70%. The lightening hits an obelisk with highest HP remaining unless overcharged, and you can remove overcharge by healing it to max HP. This is very important. Every time an obelisk gets hit by the lightening, make sure to top it off before the next lightening.
Third, the boss periodically summons a red orb in floors 25 and above. This will only take damage from EX skills, and when it breaks, it buffs near by students' damage output by 30%. Swimsuit Izuna is really good for this since her EX skill can one shot it with some buffs, and her EX skill is cheap.
Little more minor thing to note is that when the bar below his HP gets to 0%, he summons a blue orb and takes more damage, but I feel like this is something that happens rather than something you control since there isn't really burst DPS with stacked up EX skills in this fight.
Now onto the strat. Offensively, you want to keep throwing AOE buffs, and keep breaking the red orb. New Year Akari, Dress Ako, and Kotama's buff, and Swimsuit Shiroko's debuffs are all 30 seconds, so it's easy to time them.
New Year Kayoko's is 40 seconds, and can be even longer with UE40, so that one doesn't line up quite well with others. I usually use it when I see it.
Defensively, you want to make sure to remove overcharge from the left obelisk. It gets hit first when 2 are at the same HP level, and you don't need to change which one gets hit. Of course, make sure you have non-damage dealers on the left side because of this.
Everything the boss does is an AOE, and they hit pretty hard, so you need a good AOE healer. Most people use Hot Springs Shigure and Atsuko, so I followed the suit, but I've seen Hanako instead of Shigure. For me, the biggest reset point was around 4:17. Since both Atsuko and Shigure's healings are HOTs, it is important when to use them. Sometimes, you need to delay the healing so they can overlap with the next mechanic.
When the boss's ATG fills up, he throws a big AOE and gets stunned. While he is stunned, your meter gain is buffed, and deal damage with 100% stability. This is basically home stretch.
I really liked this mode. I personally wouldn't have minded another phase after the big AOE, but that might have been too much for a mobile game.
Glad I was able to clear floor 100 because that gives you a title. I think the title mentions armor type, which means there's probably going to be other armor types in the future. I'm looking forward to them.
0:11 Team 1
I wanna say it wasn't terrible, but I do wish I had more time to get some of the timing down.
There were some talks about how Wakamo's EX skill worked. I don't know if it got big enough to call it a controversy, but it's got some (likely) unintended behavior.
Normally, you can't stack the EX, but it looks like there is a small window where you can put the debuff as the previous one's explosion happens, so that damage goes straight to the next explosion. I believe this strat has 2 instances of that happening, and the first one is at 1:34, and the second one at
While I'm not sure if I got either one, the first one seems pretty close, but the second one is way off. In my opinion, the window to do so is small enough that I think it should be either removed, or made way easier to perform. Unless, of course, this becomes irrelevant. That it doesn't really matter.
Anyway, enough about that. The important part of this strat is making sure to time Wakamo's EX skill. You want to get he basic skill while the boss is under the effect of EX skill. and you want to time it for the technique I explained above. This can be done through many ways including EX meter, watching the timer, or Wakamo's animation. Use what you feel right for you.
Oh, and you want to use Maki's EX skill at the end. I didn't use it, and it shows the lack of practice on my side.
3:05 Team 1.5 stats
3:17 Team 1.5
So I'm calling this team 1.5 because the "correct" version of this strat wouldn't need this team, and it would make more sense to call the next team team 2. At the end of team 1, you are supposed to get to the last phase. Could be that I missed the timing on Wakamo's EX skill, which is why I wish I had more time to practice that timing.
All this team needed to do was to get to phase 3. Didn't know who to put. Maybe I should have put swimsuit Izuna for the theme.
4:13 Team 2 stats
4:24 Team 2
Not much to say here. If you are here, you are in the clear. Shouldn't take many attempts to get the clear. I probably should have delayed Wakamo's second EX skill for her basic skills. I almost restarted out of habit after the sand storm. I had plenty of time, so it wouldn't have been that bad, but still.
In conclusion, similar to insane difficulties, I'd recommend start this fight early. Less so for RNG, but more so for practicing the timing. Hopefully the devs don't change that for the global server as an early bug fix (because they sometimes do that) and make this strat impossible or something.
And one last thing. The top rank strat uses Maid Aris with New Year Kayoko as rental. I saw that in the rankings, and I didn't even look up the strat because I didn't have time to go through Maid Aris crit RNG grind. But if you want, it's got higher score potential, I believe.

I don't think there's much to say about. It went really well, especially since I didn't try it much. I don't know if it's just me, but grinding for Aru RNG is much better than others, IMO.
1:14 Heavy armor stats
1:22 Heavy armor
So, I don't have Dress Kayoko geared up, and there was only 1 in my friend/club who had her. If anyone else is in this situation, here's a tip for you if you didn't already know.
Instead of giving up the fight right away, you can go back to the lobby, then give up from there. Since you didn't technically selected a rental, you can still rent that character in your next attempt.
This one didn't go as well. You can probably guess what's supposed to happen. At 2:04, Kayoko is supposed to finish the fight there.
One thing to note is how Dress Kayoko works. She gains a buff if she is not hit for 10 seconds, so beware of that when running this strat.
I also tried Kazusa strat, but didn't get higher score. The idea is similar, but the details are obviously different, but I can't find where I saw it, so if you don't have Dress Kayoko ready (like me), look that strat up. I think you can get similar time. (Don't know which one has higher potential)
In conclusion, if anyone is going for a high score in global, I'd recommend start it early even though grand assault can be done on the last day. While I haven't done the special armor fight, I can't imagine it being anything other than Maid Aris spam, which means grinding for good RNG.
Worst case scenario, you will need to run it for 7 hours per fight if you wait until the last day, and that's gonna wear you out so much.
Make sure to get some score before going for the high score runs. It's much worse to not even rank than to get a terrible score. For 6 remaining tickets, expect to burn some if you want the high score.

Finally it's Makoto's time to shine. It was really fun to use her EX skill. It is really strong. My Makoto is only 3 star, yet she still sweeps enemies.
Other than that, I don't think I have phase 1 quite down yet. I was basically winging it. I don't think I ever really had a solid plan in Chesed phase 1, to be honest, but maybe that's what makes it fun.
At 1:32, I used Makoto EX because I was anticipating more enemy spawns, but I was way early. Another example of me not having it down.

At 3:45, I tried delaying Mika's second EX for Cherino's debuff. I don't know if that worked, but I got pretty good damage. Don't know if it's the debuff, or if it's just good stability.
At 4:02, I was expecting the next wave much later. I think Ui usually died here when this happened in my practice, but Cherino was just in time to clear out the wave.
I think what happened around 4:55 was perfect for me. I mean, I don't think Ui needed to fall there, so not that part, but the enemies left, and the amount of duration between Cherino's last EX and DPS phase and such.
I'm very glad I got the 2 DPS phase clear. Took me much shorter than I thought it would. Since I haven't tried more yet, I can't tell if I got lucky, or if it's not that hard, but I was happy regardless.
The popular strat may change, but having Nonomi around was also a plus for me. It's always nice to see characters who aren't really popular and meta.
I think it is possible to use Mika EX once and be done with it, and I feel like I did it in the practice, but I didn't get it in this run.
I didn't have Makoto ready for this, but you will see her in the torment video. Haven't cleared torment yet, but got pretty close. Mika missed her last shot of EX. Boss HP felt low enough, so even if it wouldn't have killed, it would have been very close, so I quit out of the practice because at that point, I knew I could do it, so I thought I'd do the rest on the actual run.
0:19 Team 1
I believe this is very similar to 1 team clear strat. I wasn't really going for it because I was already tired of phase 1 resets. I wasn't going to reset phase 2 because I didn't get a 1 team clear, but I was following close to the 1 team clear strat, at least in phase 1.
First thing to note is around 0:44 when Tsubaki uses taunt. That timing is important. It delays yellow kaitenger's skill activation just enough that she doesn't move for the new formation, and you can hit both pink and yellow afterwards. The timing isn't too tight. It works well if you activate taunt right around when red strikes the pose.
Around 0:55, I tried to delay Hina's skill so I can get Hare's buff before it.
Around 1:00, you can time the EX shot to hit both green and yellow. It's around when green's right foot is halfway to the next step.
I don't know if 1 team clear strat all does it, but the one I saw delays Hoshino EX to around when the in-game timer has 1:40 left. And also you can take red's taunt without canceling it with Tsubaki's. To do so, use Fuuka on Hina, and use Hare on Hina after she's out of taunt, or around when EX meter is at 8 if she didn't get hit by the taunt.
This way, you get into phase 2 slower, but you stack more meters, so you can spam more EXs in phase 2. I tried doing it the next attempt, and got a better score, which finally got me above 1000th place. I felt kinda sad that I couldn't even get top 1000 anymore, but at least I kept it this time.
1:37 Phase 2 is pretty sloppy. I think I just wanted to be done with it. Once you get there, I think it's pretty easy and straight forward, so I pretty much did whatever. For example, using Hoshino at 2:20 was absolutely unnecessary.
Getting a part break before the big slash is how you get the 1 team clear, along with good damage through out the fight. As I mentioned above, I wasn't too worried about it because I fully expected 2 team clear for me.
2:50 Team 2 stats

I think if you get the boss low enough, it's faster to use Aru instead of Hina because her EX skill is cheaper. But since I needed multiple EX hits, I think Hina was better for me. Anyway, it's pretty simple. Just keep cycling though EX skills.
In conclusion, I think this was better than heavy armor insane, but it was still really tiring for me. And I'm the kind of person who had fun even when a lot of people show discontent with grand assault in general.
Well, it can't be all good and fun, I guess. And it's not like now I don't like the game as a whole or anything. It's just this one particular season of raid I felt kinda bad.
0:17 Light armor
Here's my run of season 7 of grand assault way late. In fact, it's already over. The reason is that I was trying to get a better score to the last hour. Some I did, and some I didn't.
For light armor, not much to say. I don't know if it's faster to split the teams in 2 like other fights, but I easily got 26M, so I think it's pretty good.
1:22 Heavy armor team 1 stats
1:46 Heavy armor team 1
Probably the least fun I had playing this game since the last field Hod grand assault. And the biggest reason is trying to hit the black kaitenger. She has higher evasion compared to others, and you might be wondering why target her at all. Mika's EX skill deals more damage the more HP a target has (I believe it's % based), so you want to hit enemies with max HP.
Ideally, you finish phase 1 after the second shot. I actually never got it the entire time. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just bad luck, but I honestly wouldn't recommend this strat.
After the second shot, I tried to rotate EX skills as fast as I can back to Mika, but with that little HP left on the boss, it would have been actually better to use Shiroko on the red kaitenger for the defense debuff. I did do that in another run, and phase 1 was faster in other ways, too, but phase 2 was terrible in that run. I didn't do the score calculation, but that might have been 26M.
2:52 Heavy armor team 2 stats
3:13 Heavy armor team 2
Not much to say here. It's the standard "use Mika twice while she has buff" kind of strat that you are probably familiar with. Satisfying thing about this strat is when you get the part break on red, the timing works out so well that it doesn't stay in green aura for long.
4:15 Special armor team 1
This actually wasn't what I wanted to upload. I had 5 minutes left, so I thought I'd just clear it. I was sure I recorded the run right after this where I got 26M points, but apparently I didn't. At least it was the same strat, so let's talk about what I actually did. There aren't that many differences.
First difference is when I use Hare's buff. You can actually use it after Mutsuki's EX. This makes the second shot 2 or so EX meters faster (not exactly 2 because there's a delay between first and second), and I think this can save you about 5 seconds.
Similar to heavy armor phase 1, you can finish phase 1 with 2 Mutsuki EXs. I got it something like 5 times total in my entire attempts, so it was better than Mika's, at least.
5:00 Special armor team 2
As you might have guessed, you can in fact finish the fight with 2 Hinata EX shots, and that's what I did in my final run. It's the same skill order and all, so while this video doesn't show that, it should be good enough reference for the strat.
And because this run wasn't as good as I hoped, and I didn't even beat my previous score, I didn't record the stats, and I don't even bother opening up the damage chart. My bad on that.
Overall, this was my least favorite raid so far. Trying to not miss/trying to get good crit was too RNG heavy for my taste. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if my stats are too low, or if it's just bad luck, but I restarted phase 1 so many times, and I got so burned out. Hopefully, whatever is next isn't too bad.
0:16 fight starts
I barely got 39.9 million points, but it's 39.9 million nonetheless, and I'm happy with that. But I did get a higher points in practice (what a surprise), so I'm going to give it more tries. Thankfully, I have exactly 3 friends/clubmates with UE50 Nagisa, so I don't lose any attempts. And I heard someone saying UE40 Nagisa works, too? When I tried it, it didn't work, but I'll try that again.
I still needed the curse at 1:00 to go to Kokona. My Hoshino kept dying. Maybe I should just delay the heal like in my mock battle video if I want the curse on Kokona anyway.
At 2:17, I'm healing Azusa because otherwise she would die. Maybe the trick is to delay some of of Hina's EX hits (in this particular video, only the last hit), so that they can build up the groggy meter and get groggy before the AOE. Not sure if that's going to work or not.
I had fun this time. Using skills at specific timing was fun. I also kinda liked running most of the fight in 1x speed, and above all else, I like Hieronymus. I like the design, and I like the music.
Next was, what, Kaiten Grand Assault? I feel like I see Kaiten more often than others these days, but I guess Hieronymus was kinda like that in the past.
0:13 fight starts
Finally got a torment 1 team clear. Basically took Suya-sensei's strats youtu.be/gAzLbYfukH0, but as the fight goes on, I diverge more and more from the strat.
This strat requires UE50 on both Kokona and Nagisa (need to be able to activate the relic with Nagisa's basic skill, and Kokona's EX skill around 1:05), and apparently, will require them even at level 90. I didn't run the calculations myself, but I'll trust others who have run them. I couldn't upgrade both characters, so I upgraded Kokona and rented Nagisa.
TBH, I kinda regret doing so because now I'm completely out of eligma. I guess I was still under the influence of anniversary mood. But, what's done is done, and I think strats involving basic skill timing are really cool.
Now, onto some specifics of this run.
At 1:05, I had to get the curse on Kokona so she could heal herself while healing the relic. Suya-sensei just takes the curse. Things weren't working quite well for me when I tried that.
I also delayed the healing just a little bit so Fuuka's shield is put on Hoshino. Looking at Suya-sensei's strat again, he times Kokona's basic skill at the beginning so that it heals Hoshino before the purple relic activates.
At 2:02, Nagisa's heal goes to Azusa. I need to time skills better, so that goes to the relic.
At 2:57, I hesitate using Hina's EX because the transition is close. I don't know how it's going to work in this case, so I just tried to play safe.
I think first half was, while not being optimal, not terrible. But the second half everything falls apart. I think what happened was that I tried to get this out quick, so I got impatient. My previous run went little better and got 39.84M points. Well, the actual torment didn't even start, so I'm not worried.
I tried to power level, but EXP required going from 89 to 90 was way higher than I expected. I think I needed to spend about 1500 more AP per day if I wanted to be 90 now, and I just didn't have that much pyro.
But I do think I can get to 90 before the raid is over, so I'll probably upload an actual clea after I hit 90. And hopefully I can get some more practice in, so it's not as hectic as this one.
0:22 fight starts
Just a quick run. No optimizations at all, just did what I felt like it.
I brought what would be torment team, thinking I'd be used to the team, then I realized, if I'm just doing what I feel like, it's not really going to be a practice. And the strat is likely going to be completely different anyway. Well, I got used to Hina's EX skill timing, I guess.
Dress Hina is very strong, and people are clearing torment with 1 team. There's no surprise considering level cap increase and type/terrain matching anniversary character. Hopefully I can get a clear soon, too.

I think Shiro fight was actually decent. I saw starts with Eimi instead of Izumi, and it looked easier, but for some reason, when I actually tried it, it felt more awkward. Maybe it's because I was more familiar with the strat I tried.
My favorite part of this Shiro fight was definitely swimsuit Nonomi. I don't think she was really a big part of raid strats since Hieronymus, so it was cool to see her again. It is just so fun to watch her attacks after EX.
Kuro fight on the other hand, I felt like I had no idea what I was doing. I'm probably moving too much, and I didn't even notice Hoshino's EX was off when I used Aru's EX at 5:28.
Oh, yeah, and Serika was there for emotional support because when else could I take her to a raid, right?
I'm probably gonna try it once more and just sweep after that.
Next up is Hieronymus, after about 11 months. Current grand assault being light armor, Hina and Ako dress versions being explosive type (although Ako is more of a support, but still), and Misaki getting unique item all made me feel like a light armor raid was coming, and I'm pretty excited to see Hieronymus again. Maybe they will do multiple light armor raids like how it has been so many heavy armor raids. I'd rather have variety of armor type raids, so hopefully not.
This will also be the first torment at recommended level of 90, and I think Hieronymus was already on the easier side in terms of torment, so I'm guessing it will be pretty fierce to get platinum. I think I'm gonna do some power leveling before the raid. I believe T9 equipment comes after the raid, so at least I don't have to worry about that.

Can't say I tried hard on the light armor fight, mostly because I was just going to do torment anyway. It felt easy enough, but I don't know if I just got lucky with crits from Aru. I should have probably cycled EX skills better, but even then, the strat was easy, and the score is not bad.

If I redo any of these fights, it's probably this one. It looks like 2 team clear is better for scores, unless it's changed since I checked last. Nothing special about the strat. I just used Mika's EX skill 8 times, and the fight was over. I think there were some parts where I could just take the hit instead of moving with Yuuka.

It looks like Maid Aris is the high score strat, but when I tried it, it felt like I wasn't getting crits, so I just went with the old favorite, Izuna. This wasn't as bad as heavy armor fight compared to the high score, so I don't think I will redo this one.
2:38 team 2
5:35 team 3
On the last day of raid, I got almost a 2 team clear run. No stats this time because nothing changed except I swap Kokona out for Shun, but Shun is there for the meter boost.
I saw a slightly different team 1 strat, so I tried it here. It was definitely faster than my previous attempt, but I don't know how much of it is from the new strat vs getting the 3rd panic shot.
The skill order is different and you don't use Eimi's skill until far into the fight, which means you will need to upgrade her enough to survive.
As I mentioned above, the video I saw had all 3 panic shots proc. I think if 3rd misses, and if it's taking too long to get the perfect scenario, and you just want a clear, I think you can pivot to the strat I used in my previous video as long as the 4th shot procs.
The video I saw had Mika use her basic skill before moving to the next area, but I couldn't get the timing down for some reason. That skill does quite a bit of damage, so make sure to not clip it.
At 2:04, you can see me sitting at the pause menu. I was thinking I could get lower remaining HP, but it took me about 30 minutes to get there. If I went too far, I'll have to do the whole thing again. I ended up deciding to get few more hits, and it payed off because my goal was around 18K in the first place. All that said, I don't know how much difference it would have made, and I'm pretty sure 20K would have been fine.
Not much to say about team 2, but one key difference is delaying Mika EX at 4:22. It was very obvious in hindsight, so I was surprised when I didn't see that the first time. That way, you can build up the vulnerability up stack with Utaha's turrets, and quickly destroy the missile guidance unit.
It was very close to 2 team clear, and other than general RNG, I can think of few things to get 2 team clear.
1. Get Meru to UE40. Mine was UE30, and that's straight forward more damage.
On a side note, I've been calling it UE 2 because I'm used to calling it by its star rank, but few videos from English speaking communities I've seen call it UE30, 40, and 50, so I guess I'll follow that convention even though I'm not really part of any of the communities.
2. Get Camping Hare to UE40. You might have noticed I'm using Hare's buffs pretty late, and that is because I'm too afraid of missing the window to use Mika EX. If I was playing smart, I'd just look at the timer, and I'm pretty sure I can get Mika's basic skills with the buffs, but I guess I play too safe.
Now, was I going to spend 600 (for Meru) or 1500 (for Hare) eligma on the last day of raid to get 2 team clear when I'm perfectly happy with my score? The answer is no. Just as I play safe in actual gameplay, I also don't like to take risks and play safe when it comes to resources.
3. Clean up mistakes. This one, I could have tried without spending additional resources other than time, but team 1 took me 30 minutes, so I didn't really want to try another run.
This includes playing with buff timings I mentioned in previous point, but there are gameplay mistakes, too. One notable one is at 3:57. I not only clip Mika's basic skill with her EX, it was used before Maki's debuff. Granted, my EX meter was max, so maybe it was better to not wait for Maki's debuff, but in that case, I think I should have used it even earlier so I don't clip Mika's basic skill. Most of her EX damage is at the end, so as long as that's under Maki's debuff, should have been fine.
Next up is Shiro & Kuro grand assault with light armor torment. It's been a while since we got a light armor raid with torment difficulty. Not sure what happened there, but hopefully we see them more often. There just have been too many heavy armor types for a long time now.

So it does look like Camping Kotama has a place in this fight, but I wanted to save my resources, and Kayoko works fine... as long as you are okay trying your luck with panic shots. But you should be familiar with that already :D
Summer Chise might work, too, since her EX costs 6, and I believe it's enough to fill Wakamo's CC meter for the first 2 cycles. Third cycle, you need her normal skill. I might try this later.
Few notes about the Kayoko strat I tried. Kayoko EX needs to be used pretty much as soon as the meter hit 6, which is why I turn the auto on. That way, the first panic shot hits right when Wakamo wakes up from the stun.
Speaking of panic shots, the first 2 needs to proc. Third at 0:55 can miss, as in my strat. Then the next one should proc, and if that also misses, then it's a restart.
If the thrid procs, the start changes, but should be able to continue. In this case, before moving to the next area, Tsukuyo retreats, and Mika can get 1 more EX.
I didn't finish Wakamo phase with team 1. This was to build EX meters for team 2 before starting Hovercraft phase to get a full cycle of EX skills before the missile phase. Not sure if that's what the top rank strat does, tho. And even if it is correct, I think leaving with 100K remaining HP might be too early. I'll probably try something like 50K next time.
Nothing special in Hovercraft phase. Just keep cycling EX skills. I use Utaha EX here and there to not waste meter, but maybe Maki would be better.
I couldn't get 2 team clear. Maybe it's how I'm using the skills, or it could be Camping Hare being 3 star. I'll need to find some examples.

Last total assault, I uploaded insane difficulty because it was a new fight, but I figured I'd start uploading insane difficulties in general, at least until I get bored, so here is hovercraft insane.
I'll be honest. I'm quite surprised hovercraft came back so fast.
I don't think much has changed from the last time. Personally, my biggest question was "will camping Kotama be used?" and, unfortunately, it doesn't look like it. At least in insane difficulty, at the moment.
Maybe she needs UE2? But my Kotama is only a 3 star, and I don't have that much eligma to spend. Plus, it's hard to beat Kayoko's "free" CC. Maybe she will be useful in Hod, but that's a question for future me.
I haven't tried torment yet, but I'll probably start by doing what I did last time. Upgrade some equipment, too.

I tried the team all the top places were using, and I obviously don't know the actual strat, but it felt like it was going to be really hard and stressful, so I went down a little and found other teams. It was still very RNG heavy, but I didn't want to look up a safer strat, so I just went with it. In hindsight, I probably should have gone for a safer strat.
What makes it hard is that it's hard to maneuver with Summer Shizuko in Goz fight in general, Ui can die really fast from missiles from rabbits (which is why I target them first with Iori), and Mika just wants to move in front of the tank for some reason. But all I wanted from team 1 was to get the boss's HP low enough, and 4 Mika EX was enough for me.
Team 2 felt definitely easier than team 1. Phase 1 was pretty quick, but there were still few spots where things go wrong depending on RNG. Phase 2 also has RNG factors, but it didn't feel as bad as phase 1 for me. I think the biggest reset point was when the safe spot for the hat pattern is opposite side of the boss. It's okay when the safe spot is in the middle, and the boss is on the side, because you have enough time to move (at least for the first hat), and most damage is coming from Mika's EX skill anyway, so you don't have to be on the correct side all the time.
I got lucky because I just moved to center, and the coin happened to be on the center. And speaking of hats, it can actually be determined where the coin is after the first shuffle. In torment, coin always starts from the center, and it will either swap with left or right hat, or it's gonna stay there and left and right hats will swap positions themselves. It doesn't matter where the hats move after that, they will end up in the same position, so you can pre-position your team.
For the bombs, if Mika has the shield from Yuuka, and she gets targeted by fake Goz, she will be fine. The real one can damage her even with the shield. I forgot how much damage it does, but it was definitely going to be too much at 4:11, so I didn't bother putting up the shield because it was going to be a reset if she doesn't dodge the bomb, and she did, thankfully.
Cherino dying was not part of the strat. Should be doable with her alive.
Last thing I want to mention about this strat is Yuuka EX at 4:37. I don't know how consistent it is, but dropping the EX where I did makes Mika to move far to the right that she gets out of the hat range, so that's what I've been doing.
This strat felt very awkward. I guess that's what I get for using light armor type characters against explosive damage type. At least I was ready for it. The raid season is almost over. I wonder what kind of wacky strats are going to emerge this time.

First thing first, his cards now glow blue/red in phase 2 now so it's easier to distinguish which one is real.
This was just quick clears. When I attempted this, no one even cleared all 3 in higher difficulties, so I had no references to go off of, but wanted to get it done first so I have more time practicing torment. I had no idea what I was doing. It was more of "let's just do this." I'll most likely try better strats.
On top of that, I usually go over the stats after I clear the fights, so I myself was surprised by T7 equipment. I was like, "I went in like this?" I'll make sure to upgrade them for better runs.
1 team clear feels doable with mystic armor, and maybe people have already done it in previous Goz? I haven't been following insane clears in a long time so I don't actually know, but I feel like I heard about it somewhere. I'll probably put Ui in and play it like how I played torment.
Light armor definitely needs more work and thoughts. Mutsuki seems to have potential, but maybe Swimsuit Iori is better. Also Azusa did better than I expected. Maybe Saori is also good. I thought about her, then ultimately didn't put her in the teams because of the terrain. Azusa is also not good in outdoors, but I initially put her in for the debuff. Goz's defense is quite low, so it's not really worth it, tho.
These runs are more of safety net so that I don't have to worry about them if things comes to the worst. Torment is heavy armor, which means it's probably going to feature Mika, and I'm still traumatized when Mika was in Goz fight, so I wanted to have as much time practicing torment as possible. At least it will be over faster compared to the first Goz torment.

You can tell some characters are quite different compared to my previous videos. I wanted to get the 2 team clear, and I wasn't sure who was really needed, so I upgraded where I could. I think the actual upgrade that got me the clear was maxing out Summer Hanako's skills. She was still UE 2 when I got my 2 team clear, but I upgraded her to UE 3 because why not.
After I started the fight, I realized I was going to check other videos for team 2 because I hadn't quite got it down yet. I only had watched first 15 EX meters worth of strat before this, and I wasn't sure if I had enough time to check a video while attempting the fight, so I just tried to wing it after that point. On hindsight, I totally had a time to check and refine the strats. It feels like I wasted Hanako EX to manage stun meter.
On top of that, what I did with team 2 is probably out of fashion by now. I think I saw Yukari in team 2 in the rankings. I haven't even tried it so I have no idea how that strat runs, but maybe I'll try it.
(Edit: I watched team 2 Yukari strat. Apparently if you get a stun as the phase would transition, it doesn't? I don't know the exact condition, but you just keep dealing damage while the boss is stunned to finish the fight. Tried it couple times, and as expected, I wasn't even close)
I got team 1 done within 5 minutes, which is incredibly fast for me. You can see I'm considering restarting or not because I know I can get it lower, but I knew team 2 was going to be annoying, and I wasn't sure how long it was going to take to get a decent team 1 run, so I decided to proceed, and I think it was the right choice.
One thing to note is that I've never had characters moved in such a way that Atsuko got out of Kikyou's buff. IIRC, the buff amount increases as more characters are in the area, so that felt little bad.
If anyone else is also short on resources like I was and need to get to the minimum spec, I think Hanako is the highest priorities. I've seen 2 team clears with 3 star Kikyou, so for her, skills are more important than star rating/UE. I did get her to UE 2 before I realized it, but in the end, Hanako does all the damage, so as long as she can provide the buff and debuff, 3 star seems okay. It did make getting to phase 2 easier for me, so it wasn't a complete waste.
I didn't look at the details of intimidation mechanics myself, but iirc, it's percentage based and you don't need to heal tanks more because they have more HP. (I think I read somewhere more HP makes it harder before people really studied the mechanic).

This fight involves a lot of lining up the skills, and I had fun figuring out the timing. I watched others' videos when I couldn't quite understand when to use skills, but I wanted to figure things out myself this time, so most of are from me running it on practice mode.
Most notable one is the DPS phase. Because a huge portion of damage is coming from that, you want to have enough EX meter and Hanako's stack to spam her EX.
Atsuko can't survive the exploding clones, so you need to line up Hanako's EX to clear them.
Then the phase transitions are gated, so you line up your EX skills.
Speaking of which, I mentioned in previous video that some strats might not be possible to mimic because of how phase transitions work, but I didn't think of the other way around.
This particular strat is based on Suya-sensei's video, in which the phase transition happens with Swimsuit Hanako's last EX. This means you have a lot of leeway here in terms of damage. If you are familiar with Super Mario Bros speedrun, think of the frame rule. The journey doesn't matter too much as long as you can get to the end within a certain window.
I think my team 1 went pretty well. Atsuko got confused at the end, but since it was mostly over, I thought I'd continue (And I had failed too many times at the time, so I wanted to be done with it). I hoped to get the stun before I had to use Kikyou's EX, and since I had to use it anyway, I should have used it before the boss spawned the clones. Or maybe it worked out because otherwise Atsuko was gonna attack other students, and if Hanako was down, that would have made me really sad.
Team 2 needs more work. I know I could get a lot more damage, not to mention the stun was basically wasted. I did take 20+ million HP once, but I have no idea what I did there.
Team 3 was bad, but hopefully I don't even need to get there. I was getting impatient because I had 15 minutes left, and it was my last ticket of the day. I missed a whole lot of self buffs on EX skills. I tried to adjust as the fight went on, but Momiji basically never got to take advantage of her self buff.
Now that I know I can clear it, I'm gonna start upgrading more characters. You might have noticed bunch of my students weren't maxed out. That is because I was running low on resources. I wanted to make sure I didn't waste any, so I was upgrading them one at a time whenever I felt I couldn't get past specific points.
I also wanted to try Swimsuit Hoshino in team 1. Things weren't quite working well for me, so I switched to Cherino. Now I'm not really pressured to get a clear, I can take more risks and try different strats.

The long anticipated elastic armor type raid. Since it's new, I thought I'd post insane difficulty (even though I didn't do it for other fights).
It's based on Suyasuya-sensei's team, but I didn't watch his video, so the skill time line are likely different.
I want to talk about the boss first since it's a new boss.
The core mechanic is a new mechanic called pressure or intimidation. I like intimidation because the word pressure kinda sounds like a mechanic involving physical pressure. Anyway, it reduces students' max HP, and if the intimidation gets past 50%, the student gets confused. Note that this doesn't trigger when the remaining HP gets below 50%, but when the intimidation itself gets past 50%.
Once they get confused, as far as I know, the only way to cleanse is to remove intimidation stack, so it is important to prevent it from happening in the first place.
And to remove intimidation, you just need to overheal. However, the amount removed is reduced as the difficulty increases, and the internet says in insane difficulty, the ratio is 1/6 and in torment, 1/9, so compared to normal, you'd need to heal 9 times more in torment to remove intimidation.
Confusion is really bad. The affected students not only attack other students, you can't use their EX skills while they are confused. In insane and below, Atsuko's EX was enough to cover it, but I did see confusion with bad RNG, so I'd assume it's not going to be enough in torment just with Atsuko.
Another important thing to note is that the boss's attack goes through shields. First the devs makes healing almost impossible in some fights, and now it comes full circle and they ban shields.
I do like healing mechanics in general, but the problem with it is that healing is usually the first thing players try to reduce as they get overgeared, and things get more RNG dependent as healers get removed. I wonder how this is gonna go.
And the third new mechanic it brought is becoming invincible during phase transition. It's not instant, so you can see differences in different attempts, but it happens fast enough that they are not gonna differ much. It's an interesting idea, but it really sucks when you are not close enough to finish with auto attacks, but using another EX skill would be kind of a waste. And since different players have different stats, some strats might just not work for other people at all.
Main way to damage the boss is using AOE attacks. There are spirits around the boss which transfer damage to the boss, similar to Perorodzilla, but they are only visible when using EX skills. I haven't tested it, so I don't know if Iroha's NS works on them or not, but at least they are affected by ground AOE like Swimsuit Hanako's NS.
It only builds stun meter during phase 2, but when it does get stunned, it splits into 4 spirits (while the original spirits are still there), and the students' crit rate maxes out. I do see some non-crit numbers in this video, so unless it's a graphical glitch, or I just saw it wrong, max crit rate doesn't mean guaranteed crit. I'm guessing it still substracts the bosses crit resist from it, so it dips below 100%.
Either way, it feels so good to see so many crit numbers at once, and boss takes a ton of damage during stun.
Timing the stun is very important. I dealt over 40% of the damage of the entire fight in that 5 seconds, so missing it is going to cost a lot, and maybe even cost a clear depending on the difficulty.
I only tried torment briefly. At first I was worried because I don't have enough resources to gear up all the new sonic type characters, but I don't think it's impossible for me to clear.
Oh, and lastly, it's mock battle because I already used my ticket for the day.

As a big fan of Rhythm Heaven series, I was immediately hooked, and the first thing I thought of was recreating Touhou Rhythm Carnival minigames.
Touhou Rhythm Carnival is a parody game of both Rhythm Heaven series and Touhou, and it's kinda going back to my roots because my first video uploaded to this channel was about it. I stopped after 4 videos because I was (and still am) lazy. I don't even know if I still have the videos I recorded back then, but that's besides the point.
Some of Touhou RC minigames can be translated to the original Rhythm Heaven minigame 1 to 1, and Close Call Meiling is one of them. My favorite song in the game is actually Frost K, but as of 11/24, Heaven Studio build doesn't seem to have Showtime, the minigame with penguins jumping, from GBA available yet, which is what Frost K is based on, so I picked another game/song I liked.
I didn't realize when I picked the song, but Close Call Meiling happens to be what would have been my 5th video (because I was going off of the order in game). Maybe it was in my subconscious. The difference is that this is normal mode, and my previous videos were hard mode, so it's not a true continuation from a decade ago.
I recorded myself playing the game again for reference when copying the patterns, then I thought it would be nice to have it as a reference in this video, too, so I included it in the corner. Don't worry about my performance.
I really liked Touhou RC, and considering how it's subtitled as Scarlet, representing Touhou 6, I was expecting more, but the devs don't seem to be around for a long time now, so it's likely not happening.

Sorry for the late upload. I was really busy last week, and I myself got the clears basically on the last day (a day before upload). Good thing it was elimination raid and not total assault, I guess.
I could not get a 3 team clear. I think I had enough spec, but just didn't have right strategy. I think I could have figured something out if I had time, but I'm just relieved I was able to clear and maintain "all torment cleared" status (which isn't tracked by anyone but myself, but hey, it's important to me). TBH, I'm not super happy with the score I got. I think I can get more. Oh, well. You can't have everything in life.
Kazusa and Kanna deal a ton of damage together, but I just couldn't figure out skill order to keep them alive.
Enough of top rank strats, and let's talk about my strat. After I found out I just don't have time to figure out Kazusa and Kanna strat, I tried to look for other strats, and most I could find was 2 swimsuit Wakamo strat. Cool, easy enough, I thought. Then I realized none of my clubmates had her as helper. My club isn't competitive at all, which is why I joined in the first place, so I'm not complaining. It did make me really worried, tho.
Then I found a video from MilkTea-sensei, and plenty of people have Mika as helpers, so I gravitated towards this.
youtu.be/hD5MGKg6WGE
Team 1, I don't follow exactly the same. Just need to take care of the pillars. I couldn't bring any of the heavy hitters like Mika or Chihiro, so it's really slow. I probably could have brought Kazusa here, but I was saving her for potential team 5. I still don't know when I can retreat, so I was being extra careful because I couldn't lose any more tickets at this point.
Team 2, I thought my strat was similar to other strats, but I was about 1M damage short compared to another clear video, and the difference was not using Mika EX on the second pillar. Maybe more, but I haven't checked the whole thing yet.
Team 2 is most of your reset point is going to be through Kayoko's panic shot procs, and I'll explain some of them. The first one is right after the start, panic shot on the first pillar. If it doesn't proc, it's a reset.
With my strat, it doesn't matter much whether you get a proc on the second pillar, but some of the skill orders are going to be different. I do get a proc in my video. Without the proc, you use Kayoko EX to debuff the pillar instead. With the other (better) strat, I do believe you need to get a proc so you can kill it fast.
After that, if you did get a proc on the second pillar, you need the next 2 shots proc. And for both not getting a proc on the second pillar, or the other strat, you need to miss a proc for 1 of next 2. The order doesn't matter.
Another thing to note, I waste some meter before the stun. The boss can use a skill in a weird time, and that delays the next pillar spawn. Worst, it can use the "ultimate" because of the delay, in which case, I think it's just a reset. If you get the same pattern as me, you can either reset, or pre-buff Mika. I just wasted some meter because I wanted to stick to the strat I knew and not risk a ticket.
After this stun, I think the strats more or less converge, and I want to say you can miss 1 proc. Missing 2 procs, I'm pretty sure it's a reset. I don't know if not missing any is also a reset or not, but you will probably miss more than hit all procs. Doing the strat isn't really bad, but getting the procs is the hard part.
Team 3, I'm trying to use as much Mika EX as possible, while ending the fight with 50% stun meter. I know 4.5M remaining is good enough from practice, but I went way lower in my actual run, so I just kept going.
Once I think I can't maintain the debuff anymore, I just kept spamming Hoshino to get the stun meter up. I barely made it to 50% before the fight was over. In hindsight, cutting it short was probably faster overall.
Team 4, I just keep using CC to keep resetting the ATG meter, and when HPs get low, I use Koharu to top them up. It's basically home stretch at this point. It's pretty simple.
One thing to note is not to fill up the CC meter while the boss is stunned because that won't fill the stun meter. I do that exact thing because I thought I was about to clear anyway, so I just went for it. I probably could have gotten another stun, but I don't think that would have sped up the clear, so it wasn't really a loss anyway.
Like I said, I wasn't too happy with the results. In other fights, even though I'm nowhere close to the top, I at least feel that I did my best. I don't think this was my best. But I shouldn't be haunted by this. I need to move on...
...because next up is the dreaded new elastic armor raid. Brand new boss, and brand new armor type (in terms of raid). I'm actually quite excited. I hope it's not too bad and I don't need all sonic type characters maxed out.

Sorry for the late upload. I was really busy last week, and I myself got the clears basically on the last day (a day before upload). Good thing it was elimination raid and not total assault, I guess.
You know I'll gladly take any opportunities to take either kinds of Chise along, so I was happy in that sense. Finally, it's her time to shine.
You may have noticed I'm retreating after clearing the first pillar for both fights. I read online that the fight resumes at the second pillar, and it would save some time walking up to it (provided that your team 2 can clear second pillar as fast), so I tried it out. I didn't have enough time to test different retreat points, but when your party gets the movement speed buff, you get the credit for sure.
I don't know if I was doing it right, but I got scores I was happy with, so I'll call it good. You will find the actual top score strats since it's over, as is tradition with elimination raids, so be sure to look for them if you are interested and want to try in your global servers. I wanted to go over what I did, what I think can be possible.
Let's start with VS light armor. There isn't much to talk about with team 1. For both fights, in fact. Bring Shun and swimsuit Shiroko for EX meter boost/cost reduction, and swimsuit Chise for the debuff. I used Nagisa before Azusa because I couldn't get the pillar with just Azusa few times, and I needed a clear fast. Now, I wonder if Toki would have been better because her EX is cheaper. Once you get the first pillar, team 1's job is done.
Team 2 starts with the second pillar. I tried few different skill orders, but I don't think it matters too much as long as you clear the pillar with Aru's NS. The earlier you use Hoshino's EX, the more meter you can stock up, so there could be a time save there. The crit RNG will take few tries, but it's not that bad. The real game starts with the boss.
Because of how my team's formation, the circle AOE will push Aru back too far away to hit the boss with EX. And for some reason, it likes to use that more than anything else. Not sure if that's true or if it's just anecdotal, but that's how my run went.
And after you survive that, it's crit RNG time. I don't think it is possible to finish the fight with 1 Aru EX. But as you can see, I got the boss HP down to 20K with her second EX before the explosion, and 1 more crit on Aru's NS would have been enough for that, I'd assume. If you want the high score, go for it, but I'd recommend getting a decent clear before that. A lot of times, you can get the boss down to a couple hundred thousands after the second EX, and if you haven't cleared yet, just go for the clear at that point.
This RNG fishing took me about 3~4 tickets, which means 3~4 helper Chises with it. I still had few more helpers, and I wanted to bring my own Chise in team 2, so I kept going, but if it got too low, what you could do (and what I would have done) is bringing your Chise in team 1, and in team 2, instead of full retreating, go back to lobby, and then give up on the fight. I think this counts as not using helper, so you can keep trying.
Now onto the special armor. Team 1 is pretty much the same. Clear the pillar as fast as you can, then retreat.
I thought it was really cool to clear the second pillar with Wakamo's NS. I believe it needs buffs from new year Kayoko and Ako to do so. You need to cycle EXs anyway, so no reason not to use them. I think it is important to clear the pillar with Wakamo NS so that Cherino's focus fire is put on the boss the next phase. You can probably be a little late, but if it's put on the pillar, that's a reset point. With the focus fire on the boss, Wakamo's next NS hits the boss, which not only does a significant amount of damage, it's under the effect of Wakamo's EX, so even more damage afterwards.
Speaking of Wakamo EX, the boss is at about 200K HP remaining after the EX explosion. Maybe it's possible to clear with just 1 EX. It's something you might wanna consider if you are going for high score. Again, go for the clear first. One of the worst thing that can happen in this game is to not get a clear because you are going for high score.
At 4:35, I gambled and lost. I thought Wakamo EX could finish it off, so I used it immediately. If you use it when the remaining time is about 2 minutes and 45 seconds (spelling out to avoid timestamping), it delays her NS after Cherino's, meaning it fires at the boss, and I could have saved few seconds there. If boss is at much higher HP, the EX explosion can finish it off.
That said, I believe the top score strat uses maid Aris as the main damage source. What you do is probably easier since you don't need to time the focus fire stuff, but I believe the cirt RNG is harder.
Don't have the full video. Started recording right before Saya. I thought that would be enough, and floof ball is the proof. For those who don't know, all it does is that it gets ruffled when you take damage. I guess I don't know if effects preventing damage would also prevent it to get ruffled, but I don't have any loot that does that.
2:57
I don't know why, but I thought I was skipping this pattern (likely because I've done so many attempts where I skipped this mechanic before this run), so I was late on positioning. Glad it went well.
4:15
Doing the safer strat of moving away from the boss to avoid smaller bullets.
4:43
I knew this mechanic always gave me trouble, so I kept my defensive, going frame by frame, the laser barely touches my hitbox. I don't actually know if that was a hit or not, but better safe than sorry. It would have been better if I went down after using the defensive, but I panicked and didn't think of that at the moment.
5:34
Doing another safer strat. I could probably get close enough to hit my primaries, but it was so close to the end, and I really didn't want to lose this run there.
Oh, and last thing. You might have noticed my last loot is the revive loot. Only reason I took it was because the other 2 were also not good.
One of them was a spear that, IIRC, either slows you down or slows your GCD (or both. Never took it before, so don't remember), either of which I don't want. The other was avoiding damage with 25% chance or something, which I didn't want for the no damage run. I thought it would be funny to take a revive loot for a no damage run, so I took it instead of skipping the loot all together.
3:42 Team 2
I tried the top ranker team, and got a better score. However, it's not my best score. I actually got it with the same team from the previous video.
The reason for using Miyako (I think) is her sub skill that boosts her meter gain. That said, I'm not sure if I'm taking advantage of that correctly. The transition to phase 2 seemed fast for me, so maybe it's working. There were some time losses in phase 2. I was too fixated on the phase 1 time, so I continued, but looking at it now, I probably should have reset the run. Saya EX not lasting through the last wave was probably the worst. Or maybe I just used it too early due to faster meter gain.
Phase 2, the damage seemed pretty good, but I must have lost time somewhere. I don't have a video, but I do have a screenshot, and compared to my best run, I lost about 4 seconds in team 2.
My Miyako was 3 star when I first tried this, and she could not take the damage at all. 4 star didn't seem viable either. UE 1 might work, but I couldn't get it. So I upgraded her to UE 2. Even then, I played in 1x speed to make sure she survives. Consider that in mind if you want to try bringing her, or wait for the proper strat.
I'm hitting character limit trying to describe the whole thing, so I'll try to skip the "dodge the bullets" kind of mechanics.
0:11
Multiple circle AOEs in clockwise rotation. I think the circle AOEs don't hit the dead center, but I'm not sure if staying there is worth it. It would look super cool.
0:30
While you are stopped, Twili shows a preview of mechanics to come, and when they actually activate, the indicators are very short, so you can't really react to them. So let's start reducing the mechanics down.
1 - 2 circle AOEs with spinning lasers on them. You are looking for the circle where staying either directly above or below won't make you get hit by the laser. And to do so, you only need to check one spot.
Let's say I'm checking right above the left circle. The arrows are moving away from the laser, meaning it's not safe there. By the process of elimination, I know right circle is safe.
2 - 3 large bullets traveling downwards. Doesn't really tell you much.
3 - Circle AOE, larger expanding circle, and 4 way spinning laser all centered around on the center. You want to stay on the quadrant where you can move along with the spinning laser. To do so, you check the safe side from 1, right side in this case. Arrows are pointing down, so I know up is safe. Combining all that, my safe spot is right and up.
When you are out of timestop, you can a vertical bind. Move towards your safe spot. The lasers will despawn before they hit you, but the circle will last longer than the lasers, so don't move too quick.
0:50
I usually bait them up and away from the center (whichever side I ended up in previous mechanic). I don't get out of the indicator all the way out to stack as many AOEs close to each other, to not make moving around hard.
1:15
1 - You see a vertical bind and a teleport. The teleport will point either left or right. I have left teleport. Remember the direction.
2 - You see 2 expanding circles, and 4 way spinning lasers. You want to teleport with the same direction as the rotation. I look at top and bottom side of the circle, and look for the arrow pointing to the same direction as previous teleport. I have up here.
3 - You get another teleport. It's always opposite direction of the first one, but the length can be long or short. I have long teleport, and that means I'm going directly up or down. If you get a short teleport, you need to be off center. I have short teleport pattern at the end of the video. All that combined, my safe spot is directly up.
In the long teleport pattern, your first teleport will put you right at the edge of the outer expanding circle. Move with the spinning laser. Then your second teleport will put you inside the inner circle. Keep moving with the laser.
1:55
1 - You see 2 expanding circles, but it doesn't have info you need.
2 - You get a teleport. You are moving to the opposite side of the teleport later. I have left teleport, so I'm going right.
3 - 3 large bullets and vertical bind. Again, no info.
When time starts moving again, you see 2 circle AOEs and 2 spinning lasers. One horizontal, and one vertical.
Look for the horizontal laser, and look for the inner side of the circle. The arrow is moving up, so I know I need to go below the laser. But you are not necessarily going to that circle. From step 2, I know I need to move to the right side.
Then teleport the the center, safe from the expanding circles. Then immediately start moving towards the circle that started with vertical laser. The laser will look more horizontal by the time you need to move.
2:35
1 - 2 circles with spinning lasers. The spin is either in same direction, or opposite direction. I got same direction first, and I find this pattern harder to do. I have opposite direction first at the end of the video.
Look at the inner sides of the circles to determine if they are going same direction or not. They are not in this video, so I remember the arrows. Left down, and right up.
2 - A long teleport and binds on both directions. You are going to the opposite direction of the teleport. Combining with the previous info, I'm going left down.
3 - 2 circles with spinning lasers, the one you didn't get in step 1. Both inner sides are pointing up, so down is safe.
When the time starts moving, you want to go all the way out to your safe spot, left and down for me.
Next is enrage, and now you have seen all the mechanics.
3:46
When you get short teleport in timestop 2, move towards that teleport around where the boss HP bar is. This time, you are staying inside the inner circle the whole time.
4:15
Last timestop, opposite rotation first. Stay closer to the center this time, then teleport all the way out.
Mechanics keep coming one after another. It might be hard to handle them without being ready before they start.
0:05
I use defensive here, because about 15 seconds later, I use it again. And since Dancer's defensive is a party wide buff, I usually use it on cool down, and this is to show that it will be ready by the time I need it. Most other characters' defensives also have 15 seconds cooldown, so it should work even if you need to keep using it on cooldown. Assassin's defensive has shorter cooldown, and it can be reset, so you will likely have it.
Bunch of things happen here, so I'll skip the "dodge the bullets" part, and explain what I think are the important bits. You get gravity, and Twili starts creating AOEs around you, and 3 expanding circles.
I usually let gravity take care of the baited AOEs. Bait 3 AOEs, and start moving inside the center circle.
Bait 2 more circles, then move inside the intersection of the 2 remaining circles. This is where I use defensive to make positioning easier. Stay towards the bottom, and there will be another baited AOE. Move to the top side to avoid it.
0:24
You get horizontal bind, and bullets come from above. If you stay right below where the small bullets are intersecting, they will move past you. Eventually, you get a vertical bind, so get to the center before that to dodge the large bullet.
0:38
4 expanding circles appear, 3 large bullets spawns from the top, small bullets starts raining from the top, and you get 3 teleports.
Look for the blue teleport, and move the opposite side it's pointing to. Your goal is to teleport inside one of the expanding circles, while not getting hit by the raining bullets. I find it kinda hard, but feels easier to stay close to the top side of the large bullet before the teleport.
After that, keep crossing the bullets with purple and red teleports.
0:57
Expanding line and circle appear, and similar to previous mechanic, 3 large bullets and many small bullets start rain down from the top. You get a 3 way teleport again.
Stand right below the boss. The directions of the teleports don't really matter. Just make sure to teleport to center with red teleport, low enough to not get hit by the large bullet.
1:14
You get a vertical bind and gravity. Small bullets will start traveling from either left or right side in group of 3. A large bullet will also spawn from the same side, on the same height where you are.
I move away from the side where the bullets are spawning, and move towards top. I bait 3 large bullets top, and start moving downwards.
1:32
This is the the mechanic I don't really know how to deal with. A row of medium sized bullets spawns from the top, and one set of smaller bullets come from the top, and another set come from both left and right.
Then you get upwards teleport, and the goal is to teleport across the medium size bullets, while not getting hit by other bullets. For me, the horizontal bullets are the hardest to notice.
After that is enrage. I think the transition is around when Twili has something like 25% HP remaining. It doesn't look like the phase transitions as soon as you pass the threshold. Sometimes you can get her lower, and phase 2 starts with less HP when that happens.
1:56
This is another take of the last mechanic. I still got hit, but I did much better. Instead of following the diagonal line, it felt easier to stay put.
0:22 team 1
3:10 team 2
Important aspect of team 1 is to get to phase 2, and as long as you get there, it doesn't matter how. And I would say "that's why I brought Casual Saya because I like her" here, but the current top rankers all brought Saya, so it's nothing special. Team 1 is pretty much what I was going to bring before I checked the rankings, so I was surprised that I was correct for once. But, there were some wasted time in phase 1. I was still trying out few things. Maybe I'll get it polished later. This is day 1 of torment, so I got plenty of time.
Going on a tangent, I do like Saya, both normal and casual. I know the normal version has a reputation of being an unwanted 3 star, but voiced by Tamura Yukari, how can I resist? I don't think Casual Saya was ever memed like the normal version, but maybe there are replacements I didn't know about. I guess she is still good.
I got 1 more kill than I wanted at the end of team 1. But thankfully, it worked out in the end. And it's not like I wiped the wave or something. Who would make such mistake? Oh, and apparently I forgot to open the damage chart. I guess my mind was on something else.
Having Kokona in team 2 made things so much easier. I'd recommend that. Well, I probably don't need to recommend it because bunch of people bringing her anyway. Unless, of course, a secret strat appears out of nowhere on the last day.
Mika is very strong, and so is Cherino. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Can't forget about the original outdoors Chesed queen. I don't think torment is easy enough to warrant a new difficulty, but things have definitely gotten easier.
Next up is elimination raid Hod, IIRC? I just wanna say one thing, why heavy armor? Here I thought we were going to get all the different armor types for torment difficulty. Oh, well. It's gonna be pretty easy, then, right?
0:06
Saya creates 2 expanding circles around her. You then get 3 teleports. The 3 teleports pattern will appear multiple times, but the order will always be blue - purple - red. If there are only 2 teleports, it will skip blue and the order will be purple - red.
You are looking for blue and purple. Red doesn't really matter because it will be opposite of blue. Move to the opposite quadrant of blue and purple line while staying close to the outer circle. I have right and downwards teleports, so I move top left.
Or this is how I usually look at it. The 2 teleport lines kinda make an arrow without the shaft. You could also imagine a line bisecting the angle 2 teleport lines and make more of a complete arrow. Move to where the arrow is pointing to, and I will refer similar teleport lines as "arrows" from here on.
Blue and purple teleports will activate one after another, then the outer circle starts expanding. Then position yourself so that the red teleport will move you inside the inner circle.
0:20
Similar to the previous mechanic, you get 3 way teleports, and 2 expanding circles. This time, the blue will be much longer than purple, but again, look for blue and purple lines, move to where the arrow is pointing to.
The inner circle starts expanding, and Saya creates 4 way laser indicator, pointing either cardinal or intercardinal directions, dividing the expanding circle by 4. She will also create 2 circle AOE indicators on 2 of the quadrants, creating 2 safe spots.
Wait for the blue teleport to move you inside the expanding circle. Move away from the boss if you would get hit by the expanding circle otherwise. If the lasers are intercardinal, the purple teleport doesn't really do much. If the lasers are cardinal, you want to cross the laser with the purple teleport.
Then point the red teleport to 1 of the 2 safe quadrants. Note that the circle AOEs will not activate until the red teleport does, so you can be in them as long as you are not getting hit by the lasers.
0:35
Yet another 3 way teleport with 5 expanding circles, and 5 large bullets, 3 on one side, and 2 on the other. This time, you are looking for blue and red teleports, and get inside the expanding circle where the arrow is pointing to. Purple will be opposite of blue.
In this video, I move top right, and there is a large bullet coming from the bottom. If you get bottom side as your starting zone, then the large bullet will come from the top. Position your blue teleport to move across the large bullet.
Then move away from the boss, and use purple teleport to go across the bullets coming towards you. Wait there until your red teleport moves you to safety while dodging other bullets.

You get 3 teleports, but they are all horizontal this time. There are line AOEs vertically, dividing the field into few columns, and restricting your movement. Then there are large bullets, moving down on some of these columns.
You want to stay in the column where a large bullet indicator is currently displayed, while pointing blue teleport to a column without large bullet indicator. If your blue teleport is long, it's pretty easy. There's going to be just one spot.
If the blue teleport is short, then you'd also need to look at the purple line, and make sure it will put you in the safe column. For example, looking at the pattern I got in the video, if I had short blue and long purple, I'd move to column 4 (counting from left).
I get hit here, but the bullets are spaced pretty much the same amount every time, so you can position yourself better. If the first set of bullets are hitting your character sprite's head, I think that's good amount of spacing. I included a recording from a different run at the end.
Otherwise, it's not a complicated mechanic. Just remember to teleport above the large bullet, so you don't get hit by it.

Saya creates a circle AOE around her, 4 way laser that spins, and a larger expanding circle. You get a teleport to a cardinal direction, and you want to teleport across the spinning laser, while staying inside the expanding circle, and dodging bullets.

Saya creates a large circle AOE around her, and starts spawning bullets moving diagonally. You get multiple teleports. You want to find blue and purple, and move to the quadrant the arrow is pointing to. Stay inside the expanding circle, and point the teleports accordingly. I included an alternate way of resolving this mechanic at the end.

Exactly same as the 3rd mechanic we saw. After that is enrage, so you will lose if you can't beat her in time.
I really liked the last 2 bosses. It is overwhelming at first with bullets and indicators everywhere, but it is really fun to start reducing the information, so that you can figure out how to resolve the mechanic quickly.
0:01 Pattern 1
The tell is Azel moves away from the center.
Azel puts a vertical bind on you, and also a gravity pointed downwards. This one is much stronger than what Menna puts on you, and you basically have to hold up the whole time. Even then, depending on your character, you can't even attack because the slowdown is so much, you can't avoid the laser at the bottom.
There are lasers around the edges of the screen, so avoid them. Right after you get the gravity, Azel puts down a horizontal laser where you are. Bait this towards up because you have gravity.
Then you get another baited laser. Put this on the bottom so you have room to move around for the next laser. While all these are happening, there are small bullets spawning from either sides of the screen, moving diagonally. I actually thought it was easier to dodge one set after another, avoiding the column they cross, but looking at this video now, the middle column actually looks pretty safe, so I'd recommend that.
This pattern was actually really hard for me at first, then I noticed the lasers are baited, not random. I felt kinda bad not noticing that earlier. After I noticed that, it was much easier than the other pattern.
0:39 Pattern 2
The tell is Azel moving to the center.
You get a vertical bind, and Azel starts a cross shaped, or more like plus sigh laser that spins either clockwise, or counter clockwise.
I could say move to the quadrant where the laser would hit you if it started spinning, but I'm not fast enough to think in terms of rotation, so whenever I see spinning lasers, I usually just imagine the circle indicator is a square and look at 4 sides of it.
The first bind in this video, I'm on the left side of the boss, so I look at the left side of the circle. The arrow is pointing down, so I move down. Of course, that's just what I do, and you can do whatever you want, as long as you move to the correct quadrant.
When the laser starts spinning, you get horizontal bind, which is why you need to move to the quadrant where the laser would hit you with vertical bind. Move along with the laser, and repeat.
While you move around the laser, there will be small bullets spawning from right side of screen (don't remember if it's random or always right side). This is actually a pattern hardest for me before the last 2 bosses, and even in this video, I would have died if it wasn't for the sapphire violin.
Next up is Saya, where the real fun begins. For me, anyway. To be honest, it's not too far from truth that I started posting individual boss videos because of the last 2 bosses. I'm pretty excited.
