I don't draw much and getting sizing right can be hard. So altering stamps that I have makes it a bit easier and a lot less stressful. Watch how I create some superheroes with selective inking and stamping. This one took some time, but will be well worth it when it lands in the little guy's hand. Sometimes, sending smiles is worth the extra!

Baby Chick Die-cut Infinity Shaker Card w/ @inkyandscrappy Finding new uses for die-cut shapes.

I love finding new ways to use single purpose die-cuts. It's might be meant for one thing, but if we look at the shape and let creativity take over sometimes we can find new ways to use what we have. I've been playing with the Lawn Fawn Inside/Out Stitched Strawberry Die lately. I've used it as a carrot house and now the body of my little chick. I have another one coming up that I've been meaning to do since Halloween...hint hint...but the point is sometimes just thinking out of the box gets us more use out of stuff we already have. I also pulled out the Build-A-Succulent Dies for this one as well as the strawberry back piece from the Built-a-Cupcake set. And I was not disappointed with the end result! That chick is adorable. Plus it was super easy to put together and adding the infinity shaker just gives it that something extra I love!

Hello, this is Jaime, from InkyAndScrappy. I had planned on showing you 1 card design with 2 different color schemes and well you know what they say about plans.

So that first card is all about childhood Valentine boxes made with all the hearts imaginable that you could squeeze onto that shoe box/ cereal box. And the second card kind of got flipped on it's head quiet literally. As I was putting the second shaker element together it was upside down on my desk and I was like, huh, kinda looks like a tree top. Welp, I wasn't committed to two identical cards, so I let my imagination have reign on the second one and it is probably my favorite of the two. Which is your favorite? Why? I'd love to know!

I was so happy to get back into the crafty space and be actually inspired. So it might have been the Halloween card that did it, but I'm happy to semi have my MOJO back. There were bumps along the way, but I rolled with them. I love a good oops that leads to something adorable. Even if I now have glitter everywhere and my boys are finding it all over the house...how am I supposed to prove I'm a magical fairy otherwise?! LOL.
