Disqualify that Judge ! Susan Bassi 2023-01-06 | This video is about the process of disqualifying a judge who failed to make disclosures about his connection to a secret club with lawyers, cops and reporters. Taxpayers paid for the dinners of judges, lawyers, cops and reporters from mostly San Jose Metro and San Jose Mercury. For thirty years they met in secret. The meetings were not publicaly noticed and most Sheriffs , Lawyers and reporters did not get an invite. The judges say it is permitted. The law says it is not. Police and Excessive Private Bathroom Use Susan Bassi 2022-06-20 | Five Campbell police officers were called to a downtown Starbucks location after customers complained about someone using the bathroom for over 20 minuetes. The response seemed excessive and heard them using words that indicated they might try a 5150 hold on the man. Private law firms and private businesses are taking arbitration, mediation and private judge cases in record numbers. Modesto: The Courthouse Where We Can Still Record the Police Susan Bassi 2021-05-21 | This project was produced over a two day period and is part of a rolling investigation of California's courts, law enforcement agencies and domestic violence. These two counties are connected by one court boss, Rebecca Fleming, who moved from Stanislaus to Santa Clara in 2017. She is in charge of the operation of the courthouses and is known as the court CEO. Judge Lucas is the judge who issued the order prohibiting protesting on the sidewalk and courthouse property. The video was not planned or scripted. The interview shows a mom who is currently involved in a custody case with Modesto Police Officer Mario Lopez before Judge Cassidy. We are working to obtain Officer Lopez based on California's police transparency laws related to SB1421. We also invite the lawyers, police officers and judges to comment on custody cases they see involving police officers, which are presently secreted from the public if the police officer is not married to their children's other parent. Sheriff Rey Arrest Shut Down- Walk of Shame 1 of 3 Susan Bassi 2021-05-19 | This protest was announced for the same location where Sheriffs deputies arrested a sole protestor on May 1, 2018. In 2017 the court's presiding judge issued an unconstitutional order that prohibited folks from protesting on state court property in the heart of Silicon Valley. The order was sent to the ACLU, they were too busy to help. The order was given to the local government who had the order reviewed and in November 2018 the order was changed to remove the word " sidewalk". Other unconstitutional aspects of the fake order remain. Today protestors tested that order. 2 walks of shame happened because of the power of the protestors. I live streamed most in 2 parts. Gypsy Cop Investigation -Los Gatos Susan Bassi 2021-04-23 | Officer Johnathon Silva is the reason @SJVT came to town and the reason I became a cop watcher and First Amendment Auditor. Period. First Silva beat a man nearly to death in the @sjsu library . The mayor of San Jose , Sam Liccardo did nothing. The local DA, Jeff Rosen, did nothing. And as usual the DA protected bad cops. Internal Affairs cleared Silva and despite a federal lawsuit that cost taxpayers , Silva got an "in" and was hired in @losgatos-monteserenopolice9904 So after taxpayers paid once, Los Gatos elected officials thought it would be a good idea to hire Silva, and in 2019 he did it again. Police Chief Cena did some heavy copsplaining on that after SB1421 resulted in him having to release bodycams to the public. Here is the Chief who thought it was a good idea to hire Silva: Sadly , local news @Mercurynews and @NBCNews reported Silva resigned. Turns out in a lawsuit Silva filed in federal court , he was fired because of public pressure. Union lawyers are now representing him in a lawsuit against the town where rotten attorney Robert Schultz may subject the town to more costs by secreting public records during this time. So we are investigating these cops who go from department to department to conceal their misconduct. We will investigate the costs to taxpayers, and society and we are going to demand the public records we have a right to access and inspect.
