Raymond was a retired captain from the Hampden Fire Department. Prior to his fire service he worked as a printer at LH Thompson, Brewer. Raymond had many other part-time jobs including airport mall security and was a part-time deputy for Penobscot County Sheriff's Department. Raymond was a lifetime member of Hampden Kiwanis Club and served as lieutenant governor in 1991. He and his wife, Eleanor were foster parents for many years, and was an active member of First Church of the Nazarene, Bangor. Raymond will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
