Vurtego’s previous pogo sticks require low air pressures to jump. In order to create a pogo stick for kids we had to figure out a way to increase the air pressures used in them, and after lots of tinkering, tons of tears, and a lot of money down the drain, we’ve finally cracked the riddle. One of the coolest things about the Slingshot is that you can add or remove air in a matter of seconds and completely change how it bounces. The more air you pump into the pogo stick, the stiffer the spring becomes and the higher you can potentially jump. Pump it up too much, and the spring gets so stiff that you can’t jump on it anymore. If you accidentally add to much air, you just let some air out until the spring is just right for you.

Adding Spacers to Your V4 vurtegopogo 2018-01-12 | If you find that the V4 is just a little too extreme for you, we've got an option to tone it down a bit. This effectively turns the V4 into a fitness device.The V4 has a shock absorber on the shaft that is one inch tall. By stacking up shock absorbers on top of one another you can reduce the stroke and thus lower the height of the pegs in increments of 1.25 inches. For example. adding three shock absorbers would lower the peg height by just under 4 inches. This video shows how to add the spacers. It takes about 5-10 minutes to complete the entire process.

Adding Lube to Your V4 vurtegopogo 2016-12-21 | Over time your pogo stick will start to slow down and require more effort to jump high. When that happens, it's time to add more lubricant to the cylinder.If you use your pogo stick 3x a week or more, we recommend adding lube about once a month. If you only jump on weekends, you should add lube once every 2-3 months.To do an oil change you'll need lubricant and a valve core tool. Skip to the bottom for links to the stuff you'll need. Vurtego Pogo Stick Maintenance - Oil Change vurtegopogo 2015-08-26 | Your Vurtego pogo stick is a finely tuned machine, and just like every other high performance piece of equipment out there, you'll need to perform some routine maintenance from time to time. Over time, your pogo stick will suck in dirt, and the lubricant will turn into a sticky grease. When that happens, it will slow down and take more effort to bounce. Before that happens, you should perform an oil change.We recommend oil changes every 4-5 times that you add lubricant, or around 1-2 months if you use your pogo stick on a frequent basis. Luckily it only takes about 10 minutes, and when you finish, you'll be surprised to find that your pogo stick bounces better than brand new.
