The park’s iconic rides, like the Wonder Wheel, Tilt-A-Whirl, Bumper Cars and Carousel, were all “stranger-fied,”The “Upside-Down World” carnival took place at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park from Friday, July 5 to Sunday, July 7.Carnival-goers enjoyed a “stranger-fied” night, with fun twists based on the television show on rides such as the NYC Landmark Wonder Wheel, Tilt-A-Whirl, Bumper Cars, the Carousel and more. The carnival also featured Hawkins Scoop’s Ahoy ice cream and other themed surprises.The show is set in 1985 in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, and elements from the Netflix series were used to create the experience.Stranger Things also held a retro fair at Santa Monica Pier, Los Angeles, during 29-30 June.
