Mousewhisker and Hazeltail Echoflower 2023-06-30 | Sorry I haven’t been too active on this channel lately. School is finally out so I have more time to work on things and such. This is a drawing of Mousewhisker and Hazeltail because they’re two of the most underrated characters. Mouse has gotten a bit more attention because of Daisys novella and I really like to believe that he and Hazeltail were sort of mis-matched twins, and that a part of him felt hollow after he lost his sister. Berrynose can stay to the side for now, he’s not very relevant (sorry man). But yeah, I’m back, and hopefully I can pop some more art into this channel because I really want to get back into the swing of things.

Trying a new style! Echoflower 2023-03-08 | I actually really love this for some reason. Rodents and small animals always have a spot in my heart. Yes, rats too. Everyone depicts them as cruel creatures and honestly, it’s just nature giving them a bad rep. Wish rodents were given more love. Hamsters too. Underestimated. Getting another hamster soon so updates on that! This style was supposed to be more messy? If anyone has read the Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse (I think that’s the order) you’ll see it kind of looks similar— I wasn’t copying though trust me. It’s very pretty though. Highly recommend reading that book. Sorry I haven’t been posting frequently. Something hasn’t been sitting right with me lately and I feel really unmotivated.

Whitetail and Smoke Echoflower 2023-02-17 | I feel like Smoke is talked about quite decently but Whitetail isn’t always the main center of attention. Warning! Spoilers to Arc 5 (I think, the one with Darktail) and Onestars Confession!First of all, she’s mother to Heathertail and mate to Onestar. We kind of always look through her and see a minor character but she’s more then that. I really don’t think Onestars Confession (Onestars stand alone super edition) did her any more justice. She forgave him too easily, and didn’t have much of a discernible personality. It didn’t feel right when the Erin’s molded her into a very forgiving character so it seemed like Onestar did absolutely nothing wrong.That drives me bonkers that she didnt really care about Onestars side fling 💀Enough of my tangent. //Shared Blood// (Speedpaint) Echoflower 2023-02-15 | Darktail and Heathertail. Two characters nobody ever really realizes are siblings. Half siblings but same difference. Shared blood between their father, Onestar. I have to say that even though Heathertail is mentioned decently throughout the books she is not really overrated or underrated. It’s also not spoken a lot about that she is Onestars daughter often except that they do confirm it in Onestars new super edition. Darktail is a whole different story but I’ll probably make a speedpaint by himself another time since I can go on and on about him. Like jeez, Goldenflower is the freakin wife of Tigerstar 0.1 and mother of Bramblestar and Tawnypelt who both had kids who would turn out to be very important. Like, give her some love! And Tawnypelt is also awesome, I feel like we give her less credit then she actual deserves and I really would’ve liked her relationship with Rowanstar/claw. Hawkfrost is kinda really cool and the way he dies is kinda really cool? Idk but I always imagined the epic battle scene between him and Brambleclaw. His design is also awesome, the contrast of dark and light is fantastic 👌🏼BUT THIS DRAWING WAS SO OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE— I cannot draw edgy or things with blood and gore for a reason because it always turns out terrible or it makes me want to pass out/hj I showed this drawing to my sister and she kinda put her hand over her mouth and let out a half gasp because she was not expecting this. My style is usually cutesty and chibi-ish so I think she was horrified at the sudden blood. 😅

Hollyleaf Echoflower 2023-01-06 | If I were being honest, Hollyleaf was never my favourite character and I just find her overrated lol. Not saying I don’t like any overrated characters, Jayfeather and Alderheart are my literal children but aside from that fact, Hollyleaf was kinda just of a meh character for me. She’s fun to draw though and I tried to give her fur a little bit of a green tint. I’m obsessed with like giving characters accessories or features based off of their names so I had to give Hollyleaf the holly at her ear, and gave her a holly leaf looking tail.
