Wild Storm Chase!!! Tornadoes at Night!!! Sandhills, Nebraska (April 27, 2025) BMTornadoes 2025-05-10 | Here is a summary of my chase through the Sandhills area of Nebraska on April 27, 2025. I missed the daytime wedge tornado that happened earlier in the day (I originally targeted western Kansas). Regardless, there was still plenty to been seen. This night truly was amazing. It felt like I was able to sneak my phone into my dreams. I even got to see Reed Timmer and the Dominator 3 crew in action. I apologize for wind noise throughout the video. Tornadoes near Arnett, Ok (May 18, 2025) BMTornadoes 2025-05-28 | Here is a video that I made from my chase in Oklahoma on May 18, 2025. This was day four of my chase and the final one for me in Tornado Alley this season. This was my second season chasing in Tornado Alley. This season taught me a lot and I look forward to seeing what happens next. The biggest obstacle that I ran into with this chase was the auto focus on my cameras (iphone and an insta360x4). The amount of dust in the air would cause the focus to spazz out. I had to pull over several times to wipe off the lenses. That being said, these tornadoes were extremely photogenic and mostly stayed over open land. Unfortunately, this is the same storm system that would produce the nighttime tornadoes that hit several towns in Kansas. Luckily, there have been no fatalities reported from the storm. Supercell 15 Feb 25 Tornado Warned Storms West of Memphis, TN BMTornadoes 2025-02-19 | I ran into five tornado warnings with no confirmed touchdowns (out of the storms that I chased). A couple of funnels tried to form, but fizzed out. That wasn’t a bad thing. Two of those storms ended up passing through the Memphis, TN metro area. Here’s a video showing some of the chase. I was also trying out my new 360 camera. The camera struggles a bit in low lighting and with handling images that are further away. We'll figure it out. Tornado - Dry Fork / Chatham VA September 27, 2024 BMTornadoes 2024-09-28 | Video of the Dry Fork / Chatham, VA tornado. Our location was at the corner of Triangle School Rd and Green Pond Rd (Chatham); viewing the tornado from the south. We had a visual of the tornado from 3:02pm to 3:10pmThis tornado was rated an EF-2 by the US National Weather Service (Blacksburg).I have received concerns in regards to my son being in the truck. This tornado occurred about 25 minutes from my house. The storm formed in the trailing bands of Hurricane Helene. When chasing the tornado, we were positioned southwest of the storm as it moved north. There were no trailing storms to catch us off guard. We were far away from any kind of debris. The position of the storm provided a unique opportunity for my son. I would never do anything to put my son's safety at risk. To drive to point home even more, my wife, the BOSS, was in the truck as well (this was also her first in-person tornado). When I chase out west, she helps with navigation and radar interpretation.
