Canon 600D Audio Test (External Mic) Michael Gray 2012-09-22 | Finally bought myself a DSLR! This is a quick video I did within an hour or so of it arriving to see how the external mic performance was. I didn't think the noise level was too bad considering I haven't yet installed magic lantern to disable AGC, so here it is for everyone to hear. The song is a loose version of the intro to "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd. The guitar is a Diastone W-700, and if you own, or know someone that owns a Diastone guitar please please message me! The microphone is a RED5 Audio RV6 and it's going through a Roland Micro-Cube to the camera. No post-recording audio editing at all.
