I had no idea how beautiful the cinematography would be, or how much I'd fall in love with the characters, how captivating this entire new world would be for me.I mean, this show has EVERYTHING I love. Strong, beautiful women? Check. Swords? Check. Fantasy genre? Check. A villain turned anti-hero seeking redemption? Check. Complex relationships? Check. And most importantly, the most wonderful father/daughter relationship I've yet seen on TV!If you know me well, you also know I love these kinds of relationships in media, let it be in a book, movie, or a TV show. I had a feeling there was something more to those two since episode one and when I finally realized... you should've seen the look on my face. At that point I just prayed for them to have a nice, somewhat healthy relationship. And I got so much more than that! The final scene where Nimue calls Merlin "father" right before falling? I remember watching so many Thor and Loki fanvids in 2k14 before actually getting into Marvel properly; and being very dissappointed upon finding out there were little to none videos for just Thor and Thor only. Something about the concept of Thor's (and Loki's) storyline and about norse mythology in itself was just... so ethereal. I knew Thor would be my fave even before I watched a single film with him in it.And when I first watched the MCU movies, oh boy! I was so taken by him and everything him and his movies stood for and was so damn CONFUSED when I realized that there weren't many people interested in his character.And then in 2k17 Ragnarok happened and my child finally got the recognition he deserved all along!!! That was exciting as hell, and Ragnarok is to this day my favourite Marvel movie (with Iron Man close behind).
