Took me maybe 4 months to finally feel okay again.Like a month later, my tablet broke and that took another 3 to 4 months to send in and fix.Late 2022 my kitty that I've had for at least 13 years passed away. Took a while to climb out of that pit of depression.There were also plenty of weeks I was just consumed by stress and depression from not working for most of the year in between all of that. And it ironically caused me to not feel motivated to do anything.2022 was a miserable time for me lol.Some actual fun facts:The scene around 1:00 was the first scene I animated for this.There's about 4500 frames.I tried my best to do all the voice sounds myself.The reporter is voiced by the first friend I ever made in the MLP fandom @DeonRMitchellWe've been friends for like 10 years now. :)He also enjoys voice acting, if you're looking to hire someone.One of my top favorite things I did for this was that stupid looking waddle walk cycle for pony Fluffle at the end.I also hope you like my knock-off, hopefully copyright avoiding, bug horse.I think she's pretty. :)I'm still sorry these are taking so long.It really eats at me most nights.But these characters still mean the absolute world to me, and I never plan to stop.I know how much they mean to you, too.I still get so much love and praise for them, even after all these years.I even turned a whole wall in my home to hang all the personal notes and art people have given me in person.I still don't feel okay with who I am as a person, but I've at least felt like I'm on a good path now.And knowing all of you still support me this much despite how slow I've become genuinely fills me with energy that's been really helping me push through.Thank you for sticking around and being the brightest light in my life.

I wanted to introduce a new character. But I hit a wall trying to design her. That art style just didn't seem to work for what I wanted to do. After a while, I gave up and decided to try something. I started over trying to add more details to that style and ended up with something more original looking. A few months later, about halfway through, I realized how much I was enjoying working with something more original and detailed. I also realized how unhappy I was copying art styles for years and years, and how much I wanted to do something more my own.The EG series was a meaningful story I wanted to tell, but I rushed a lot of it, took shortcuts, or just flat out didn't know how to do things. As much as those videos mean to me, they feel tainted by how immature and crappy of a person I was at the time. So I wanted to restart that story to tell a more personal story. And as early as just writing out the basic ideas, it ended up turning into something bigger and more meaningful to me.I completely started over from nothing. I learned new ways to animate and new programs I've never used so I could add more details and effects. Even went back to the basics to relearn how to draw in general again.That about sums up why this took so long. Also didn't help that I became more depressed and anxious, working through some things in my life. Also developed a problem finalizing things and ended up redoing a lot, countless times. Also plague. Also I'm just one person, doing a team's worth of work lol.But now that I have a basic library of assets pretty much done, hopefully it shouldn't take as long for future things.I know this probably isn't what you were expecting and you probably miss the old Fluffle Puff. I miss her too. But this is something I've been wanting to do for years. I hope you'll join me on this new ride. But if not, know that I will always appreciate you for being a fan and helping me get on this path to making something that means a lot to me.

So August, I think. Was going to have the Balloonicorn as a regular character, but then murr. Had to put this on hold to wait for the voice actor to do the voices, but they completely disappeared on me. So I pretty much just threw it out. But I've recently came across it again and, since I ran out of ideas for Dan Vs FiM, I decided to rewrite it without voices and slap it together. It's about 20 seconds shorter, but I think it still works. And I didn't have exporting problems this time, so there's that too.
