INXS - JUST KEEP WALKING
updated 15 years ago
Testo
A pezzi, a pezzi
Amore e speranza e sesso e sogni
Sopravvivono ancora in strada
Guardami sono a brandelli
Sono stato frantumato
A pezzi
Risate gioia e solitudine e sesso e sesso e sesso
E sesso
Guardami sono a brandelli
Sono a pezzi
Frantumato
Tutte queste chiacchiere chiacchiere chiacchiere
Chiacchiere
Sfilacciate sfilacciate sfilacciate
Importa?
Guardami, sono a pezzi
Guardami, sono a pezzi
Orgoglio e gioia e sogni e sesso
Orgoglio e gioia e sogni sporchi
Sopravvivono ancora in strada
Guardami sono a pezzi
Sono a pezzi
Che importa? Importa? Importa?
I miei amici mi vengono intorno adulano adulano adulano
Adulano adulano adulano
Ammucchialo ammassalo in alto sul piatto
Lyrics
Shattered, shattered
Love and hope and sex and dreams are still surviving on the streets
And look at me, I'm in tatters
I'm shattered
Shattered
Friends are so alarming, my lover's never charming
Life's just a cocktail party on the street, Big Apple
People dressed in plastic bags (Shadoobie, shattered)
Directing traffic, some kind of fashion
Shattered
Laughter, joy, and loneliness and sex and sex and sex and sex
And look at me, I'm in tatters
I'm shattered
Shattered
All this chitter-chatter, chitter-chatter, chitter-chatter 'bout
Shmatta, shmatta, shmatta, I can't give it away on 7th Avenue (Shadoobie, shattered)
This town's been wearing tatters, uh-huh
Shadoobie, shattered
Work and work for love and sex
And ain't you hungry for success, success, success, success
Does it matter?
Shattered, does it matter?
Shattered
Ahh look at me, I'm shattered
I'm shattered
Look at me, I'm shattered
Shattered
Pride and joy and greed and sex, that's what makes our town the best
Pride and joy and dirty dreams and still surviving on the street (Tatters)
And look at me, I'm in tatters
I've been battered (Shattered)
What does it matter? (Shattered)
Does it matter? (Shattered)
Uh-huh, does it matter?
Uh-huh, I'm shattered
Mmm, shattered
Shadoobie, shattered
Shadoobie, shattered
Shadoobie, shattered, shattered
Don't you know the crime rate's going up, up, up, up, up (Shadoobie, shattered)
To live in this town, you must be tough, tough, tough, tough, tough, tough, tough (Shadoobie, shattered, shadoobie, shattered, shattered)
You got rats on the west side, bed bugs uptown (Shadoobie, shattered)
What a mess, this town's in tatters, I've been shattered (Shadoobie, shattered)
My brain's been battered, splattered all over Manhattan (Shadoobie, shattered)
Shadoobie, shattered, shattered
Shadoobie, shattered
Shadoobie, shattered
Shadoobie, shattered
Uh-huh, this town's full of money grabbers (Shadoobie, shattered, shattered)
Go ahead, bite the Big Apple, don't mind the maggots, uh-huh (Shadoobie, shattered, shadoobie, shattered)
Shadoobie, my brain's been battered (Shadoobie, shattered, shattered)
My friends they come around they (Shadoobie, shattered)
Flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter (Shadoobie, shattered)
Pile it up, pile it up, pile it high on the platter (Shadoobie, shattered, shattered)
Ooooh, vedo,
non so se c'è qualcos'altro
voglio mandar via tutto a rulli di tamburo
oh, ho detto di no, non so se sono il pugile o il sacco
ah, sì, eeehh...
Li vedete
no
non voglio
oh...sì...oooh...
"Yellow Ledbetter"
Lyrics
Unsealed
On a porch a letter sat
Then you said 'i wanna leave it again'
Once I saw her on a beach of weathered sand
And on the sand I wanna leave it again... yeah
On a weekend I wanna wish it all away yeah...
And they called and I said that I want what I said
And then I call out again
And the reason oughta leave her calm I know
I said 'i don't know whether
I'm the boxer or the bag'
[I don't know whether my brother will be coming home in a box or a bag] (Live at the Garden)
[And my brother...they sent him off to fight for the flag, I just, I don't hope he comes home in a box or a bag"] 7/11/03 - Mansfield, Massachusetts
Ah yeah ehh....
Can you see them
Out on the porch
But they don't wave
I see them round the front way yeah
And I know I don't want to stay...
Make me cry...
Ooooh I see
I don't know there's something else
I wanna drum it all away
Oh I said I don't, I don't know whether I'm a boxer or the bag
Ah yeah ehh....
Can you see them
Out on the porch
But they don't wave
I see them round the front way yeah
And I know I don't want to stay
I don't wanna stay
Don't
Don't wanna
Oh... yeah... oooh...
Lyrics (Testo)
Move,
down the road
I go.
Move,
down the road
I go.
There's mud in the water,
roach in the cellar,
bugs in the sugar,
mortgage on the home,
mortgage on the home.
There's garbage on the sidewalk,
highways in the back yard,
police on the corner,
mortgage on the car,
mortgage on the car.
Move,
down the road
I go.
They're selling independence
actors in the White House,
acid in digestion,
mortgage on my life,
mortgage on my life.
Move,
down the road
I go.
Ramble tamble tamble,
ramble tamble tamble,
ramble tamble tamble.

TIME
The Great Gig in the Sky.
Time / Breathe (Reprise) Lyrics
Ticking away the moments
That make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground
In your home town
Waiting for someone or something
To show you the way
Tired of liyng in the sunshine
Staying home to watch the rain
You are youg and life is long
And there is time to kill today
And then one day you find
ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun,
but it's sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in the relative way,but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to the heart
Every year is getting shorter,
never seem to find the time
plans that either come to naught
or half page of scribbled lines
hanging on in quite desperation is the english way
The time is gone the song is over,
thought i'd something more to say
BREATHE (Reprise)
Home,home again
I like to be here when i can
When i come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire
Far away across the field
The tollling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells
Tangerine (Testo)
One, two...
One, two, three, four, one, two..
Misuro una giornata d'estate
Trovo solo che scivola verso il grigio
Le ore mi portano angoscia.
Tangerine, Tangerine,
Tangerine, Tangerine,
Tangerine (Lyrics)
One, two...
One, two, three, four, one, two...
Measuring a summer's day.
I only find it slips away to grey.
The hours, they bring me pain.
Tangerine, Tangerine,
Living reflections from a dream.
I was her love, she was my queen
And now a thousand years between.
Thinking how it used to be.
Does she still remember times like these?
To think of us again,
And I do.
Tangerine, tangerine,
Living reflections from a dream.
I was her love, she was my queen
And now a thousand years between.
Potete andarvene tutti via
Grande Vecchio Sole (Testo)
Campane lontane
L'odore così dolce dell'erba appena falciata
Presso la riva accosto le mani
Abbracciami tutto e distendimi in terra.
Canta per me
Canta per me
Canta per me
Canta per me
Fat Old Sun Lyrics
When that fat old sun in the sky is falling
Summer evenin' birds are calling
Summer's thunder time of year
The sound of music in my ears
Distant bells
New mown grass smells so sweet
By the river holding hands
Roll me up and lay me down
And if you see
Don't make a sound
Pick your feet up off the ground
And if you hear as the warm night falls
The silver sound from a time so strange
Sing to me
Sing to me
When that fat old sun in the sky is falling
Summer evenin' birds are calling
Children's laughter in my ears
The last sunlight disappears
And if you see
Don't make a sound
Pick your feet up off the ground
And if you hear as the warm night falls
The silver sound from a time so strange
Sing to me
Sing to me
When that fat old sun in the sky is...
Uno strumento a sé, come in "Arc", cantata mettendo in loop vari frammenti vocali.
UNTHOUGHT KNOWN - Conoscenza inconsapevole
Vedder
"Live Is Life" is their second single, released in 1985, and achieved huge success, topping the charts of many countries, including Austria (eight weeks), Germany, France (seven weeks) and Sweden (four weeks). In France, the song is the 149th best-selling single of all time with about 857,000 units sold.
"Live Is Life" Lyrics
Live
live is life
live
live.
When we all give the power
we all give the best.
Every minute of an hour
don't think about a rest.
Then you all get the power
you all get the best.
When everyone gives everything and every song everybody sings.
Then it's live
live is life
live is life
live.
Live is life - when we all feel the power.
Live is life - come on
stand up and dance!
Live is life - when the feeling of the people -
Live is life - is the feeling of the band.
When we all give the power
we all give the best. . . .
Then it's live
live is life
live
live is life
live.
Live
live is life
live
live is life.
And you call when it's over
you call it should last.
Every minute of the future is a memory of the past.
Cause we all gave the power
we all gave the best.
And everyone gave everything and every song everybody sang.
Live is life.
"Grandi Speranze"
Oltre l'orizzonte del luogo
in cui abbiamo vissuto da giovani,
in un mondo di magneti e miracoli,
i nostri pensieri vagavano costantemente e senza confini
i nostri occhi stanchi ancora vagano all'orizzonte
sebbene abbiamo percorso questa strada così tante volte
l'erba era più verde,
la luce era più brillante,
eravamo circondati di amici
la notte era un prodigio
eravamo circondati di amici
l'alba si vaporizzava incandescente
l'acqua scorreva
nel fiume senza fine
per sempre e sempre
"High Hopes" Lyrics
Beyond the horizon of the place
we lived whe were young
In a world of magnetes and miracles
Our thoughts strayed constantly
and without boundary
The ringing of the division bell had begun
Along the long road
and on down the causeway
Do they still meet there by the cut
There was a ragged band
that followed in our footsteps
Running before time took our dreams away
Leaving the myriad small creatures
trying to tie us the ground
To a life consumed by slow decay
The grass was greener
The light was brighter
With friends surround
The nights of wonder
Looking beyond the embers
of bridges glowing behind us
To a glimpse of how green
it was on the other side
Steps taken forwards
but sleepwalking back again
Dragged by force of some inner tide
At a higher altitude with flag unfurled
We reached the dizzy heights
of that dreamed of world
Encumbered forever by desire and ambition
There's a hunger still unsatisfied
Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon
Though down this road
we've been so many times
The grass was greener
The light was brighter
The taste was sweeter
The nights of wonder
With friends surround
The dawn mist glowing
The water flowing
The endless river
Forever and ever
Forever and ever
23rd track on the album 20th Century Boy: The Ultimate Collection by Marc Bolan & T. Rex
I Love To Boogie
(Marc Bolan & T. Rex)
We love to boogie, we love to boogie
Jitterbug boogie, Bolan pretty boogie
We love to boogie on a Saturday night
Belinda Mae Fender's got a Cadillac Bone
Jenny's lost her cherry walking
all the way home
The passions of the Earth blasted it's mind
Now it's neat sweet ready for
the moon based grind
We love to boogie
We love to boogie on a Saturday night
We love to boogie
High school boogie, jitterbug boogie
We love to boogie on a Saturday night
You rattlesnake out with your tailfeathers high
Jitterbug left and smile to the sky
With your black velvet cape
We love to boogie, we love to boogie
Jitterbug boogie, Bolan pretty boogie
We love to boogie on a Saturday night
and your stovepipe hat
Be-bop baby the dance is where it's at
I love to boogie
Yes I love to boogie on a Saturday night
I said I love to boogie, I love to boogie
Jitterbug boogie, I love to boogie

"Guide Me Home" Lyrics
Now the wind has lost my sail
Now the scent has left my trial
Who will find me
Take care and side with me
Guide me back
Safely to my home
Where I belong...
Once more
Where is my star in heaven's bough
WHere is my strength, I need it now
Who can save me
Lead me to my destiny
Guide me home
Safely to my home
Once more
Guide me back
Safely to my home
Once more
But how can I go on?
How can I go on this way...

I've Just Seen A Face
(The Beatles)
I've just seen a face
I can't forget the time or place where we just met
She's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Mm mm mm mm mm mm
Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way
And I'd have never been aware
But as it is I'll dream of her tonight
Da da da da da da
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
I have never known the like of this
I've been alone and I have missed things
And kept out of sight
For other girls were never quite like this
Da da da da da da
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
I've just seen a face
I can't forget the time or place where we just met
She's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Mm mm mm da da da
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
Oh, falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again

I Can't Be Satisfied
(Morganfield, aka Muddy Waters)
Well I'm going away to live
Won't be back no more
Going back down south, child
Lord now don't you worry ma
Woman I'm troubled
Troubled and all worried mind
Well I just can't be satisfied
Just can't keep on crying
Well I feel like snapping
Pistol in your face
Going to let some graveyard
Lord be your resting place
Woman I'm troubled
Troubled and all worried mind
Yeah i just can't be satisfied
Just can't keep on crying
Yeah
Yeah I'm all in my sleep
Hear my doorbell ring
Looking for my baby
Lord seen a doggone thing
Woman I'm troubled
Troubled and all worried mind
Yeah I just can't be satisfied
Just can't keep on crying
Yeah I know my little old babe
She gonna jump and shout
That old train be late man
Lord I come walkin out
Woman I'm troubled
Troubled and all worried mind
Yeah I just can't be satisfied
Just can't keep on crying
Well
In 1964, The Rolling Stones' cover of "Not Fade Away", with its strong emphasis on the Bo Diddley beat, became a major hit in Britain and served as the A-side of the band's first US single.
The Rolling Stones version of "Not Fade Away" was one of their first classic hits. Recorded in late January 1964 and released by Decca on February 21, 1964, with "Little by Little" as the B-side, it was their first Top 5 hit in Great Britain, reaching #3.
"Coming Back to Life" written in 1994 by David Gilmour first appears on the album "The Division Bell".
Where were you when I was burned and broken
While the days slipped by from my window watching
Where were you when I was hurt and helpless
Because the things you say and the things you do surround me
While you were hanging yourself on someone else's words
Dying to believe in what you heard
I was staring straight into the shining sun
Lost in thought and lost in time
While the seeds of life and the seeds of change were planted
Outside the rain fell dark and slow
While I pondered on this dangerous but irresistible pastime
I took a heavenly ride through our silence
I knew the moment had arrived
For killing the past and coming back to life
I took a heavenly ride through our silence
I knew the waiting had begun
And headed straight..into the shining sun
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I'm found.
Was blind, but now I see ....
Ma io l'amavo e lei amava me
Io l'amavo e lei amava me
i sogni, l'anarchia i mie sogni d'anarchia...
