This is my new song, that i will be releasing soon under my music persona Moogie D.

This is the first time I've made the video for a song using AI that i will release for sale. This one is about the message so please share it to your friends. Hope you enjoy it.
If you are suffering, please don't suffer in silence.
Just talk to someone, anyone.
I got you my friend
The world needs you.
This one is a quick breakdown of a pond pump to see how much copper it contains.
A simple scrap out but still got a surprise taking it apart.
Hope you like this one.

This is a big heavy car battery charger and a first for me to scrap. I've done smaller chargers before but nothing this big.
I would really appreciate it if you could watch the video to the end.

Scrappers come from all corners of the world, keeping electronics and metal out of landfill sites and helping save the planet's depletion of its precious resources.
some of my favourite scrappers are mentioned in the song.
If I subscribe to your channel and I didn't mention you, then I apologise, but I could only fit so many in.
I would like to make this a charity single if possible. would you buy it?

This method uses a set of wire snips. This makes the cut without any real need to apply force.
Using side cutters also works but is far more tedious and using a saw is too much work and makes too much mess.
This is the preferred Scrapping Scotland method.
I bought the wire cutters off Temu. Nice and cheap and good quality. (This is not a paid promotion)

Gaming consoles are either a hit or a miss when it comes to micro scrapping.
The older the console the more likely it will have the kind of components is electronic scrappers are looking for.
This console is the slim version which means smaller heat sinks and small hard drives.
Let's get it open and see what's inside.

All of this wire comes from electronics power cables. It has been stripped down to singles wires in order to run it through my manual stripper.
I bought this stripper about 5 years ago from Wish but you can also buy it on Temu and it doesn't cost a fortune. You can also buy replacement blades separately. It's simple but effective.
(This is not a paid promotion)
There will always be a debate on whether it's worth stripping the wire or not. Personally, I always strip power cables to add to the copper hoard. That's not for everyone though and that's absolutely fine. You can sell it without stripping it.

I may be wrong, but I have never come across one within an amplifier that was aluminium.
Yes, you still have to deal with the horrible tape. Not just yellow tape, either. These two transformers had the dreaded yellow, blue, and black tape to peel off that lovely copper.
I was, however, very pleased with the amount of copper I pulled out of these.
The boards, on the other hand, could have been a lot better.

For every time you find great stuff to scrap, you also find some stuff that just wasn't worth it. This is one of those things and I thought it's important to show that you can't pull great metals everyv time.
However, what we do is stop this from going to landfill and we recycle the metal so although it wasn't a win, it's also never a loss.

I was lucky enough to find this, but luckier still to have all the additional copper and brass fittings still with it.
It took some time to complete the teardown, and I did get the bench quite wet with all the water still in the tank, pump, and pipes, but it was absolutely worth it.

This video is all about scrapping copper from circuit boards and power boards.
Copper is still the king of conductivity and is considered a semi-precious metal.
All scrappers are looking for that Copper and electronics are a great way to add to your Copper hoard.

Then I began to pick up the old flatscreen tv's that seemed to weigh a ton. Like the old crt tv's, these early flatscreens were so heavy due to the amount of glass they contain. The great thing about the old heavy flatscreen, though, is that they sometimes contain up to 4 nice boards, full of components and lots of aluminium struts with a full aluminium back plate.
These things are so worth scrapping, but would you scrap it all the way down to the bare aluminium back plate?

was watching some tennis after getting home from work and was astonished to see that one cameraman couldn't concentrate on the tennis for some reason.
Not my typical kind of video to post but thought it was quite funny.
There are a couple of different ways to scrap these but this is my preferred method as it means you don't need to separate the fins.
So whatever you use to chop motors or transformers in half, I'd say it's the quickest method to extract the copper goodness.

scrapping motors is something you will see all scrappers do. it's a great way to get a bunch of copper for not too much effort.
big motors that contain large stators can be difficult to remove the copper without cutting off the crown and wasting a little of that copper.
my preferred method is to cut the motor in half using a meat cleaver or an axe.
I had this motor lying around so I thought it would be rude to take it apart and not film it for your viewing pleasure.

Even when I'm relaxing in the garden, I can't help myself! I still have that need to take something apart and add to the copper stack.
Scrapping armatures can be quite tough and often you need to cut the copper out. I've been quite lucky recently with ones I can unwind by hand and pair of side cutters.
