Miku Matsuri Fan EVENT! OtterParade 2021-08-13 | What do I do when I'm not attending cons or events? I ugh host them!Miku Matsuri was a for fans by fans created event, Hatsune Miku is the property of Crypton Future Media and this was a glorified cosplay gathering. No money was charged for the fan concert or to attend the event. Everything was funded out of pocket via the council or a sponsor. Our city originally had a mask mandate that was later lifted AFTER the event was underway leading to us being unable to completely enforce the mask policy due to being an outdoor event. We did however highly encourage everyone to be masked regardless of vaccination.Not feeling too ready to go back to conventions just yet, but I await the day I can and feel safe enough in doing so.

Thank You, How To Train Your Dragon OtterParade 2019-03-04 | I really can't put into words all that this franchise means to me. I have such a history and have devoted so many emotions to Httyd. All I can say is Thank You.To say good bye we teamed up with Alamo Draft House for a movie party. I held trivia, we brought Hiccup to a meet and greet and had activities. For almost 10 years I have been passionate about Dragons and this felt like my way of passing the torch to these kids who can now binge and enjoy all 3.
