Testing the Power saving mode I implemented in GammaOS by toggling via R3+L1+R1.
This sets all clocks to the minimum frequency, not possible normally.
Tested various games and emulators at the lowest brightness. This screen is still much brighter than the RG405M at lowest brightness, completely playable.
This was at 40% brightness with GammaOS power saving mode on. (R3+L1+R1)
The RG405M is the winner, faster eMMC it seems
I am the developer, and I am indeed running GammaOS. This cable will work regardless of the operating system. Some caveats with this cable:
Frame pacing is an issue
Audio is not passed through
You are limited to the resolution of the device LCD itself

Software is this

I am not responsible if this contains malware, it is what is in the manufacturer instructions.
GammaOS lite is unreleased, it is a super slimmed down build of LineageOS with no Google services or Play store at all. All optional components have been removed where possible.
Testing with the experimental Retroid Pocket 3+ drivers on the Anbernic RG405M
Pretty much 99% 60fps.
Runs full speed, with very minor dips during intense scenes.
Runs fairly well, with some slowdown in the Olga battle (my PC struggles with this too though)
