[K/ICs] Home [IC Results!] Kisetsu Studios 2014-03-24 | The videos are not presented in any particular order. I'm sorry for not making the results video more pretty, it's sort of a late night for me, and I'm sitting in the dark because Allie abandoned me to go sleep. The judging is really hard because there are so many aspects to look at (I'm happy someone else had to suffer over it instead XD Thank you, Tamirrei!)Allie and I decided to choose a 'best theme' as well this time because it was the most important aspect for me. I was hesitant about the theme at first, but I'm glad I went through with it anyways because the AMVs you guys turned out are gems.Some of the videos left me seriously impressed in terms of technical skill (looking at you VizAMV). Mayu [CrazedMemories] did a fantastic job inspite of using a sports anime, her editing is gorgeous. Minh's [keks503] video is just as brilliant, you can see the effort she put into forming the story. I woke up this morning and nearly teared up because the ICs were actually just really great, I wasn't expecting it to be this good.I accused myself of nepotism before anyone else could, so I drew up a proper scoring chart and my dumb sister still came first. A couple of you were behind by just one point, so it was really close. [If you want your scores, just let me know. I thought about including them in the video but I wasn't sure if that was ok, so...]Next time, I'll get atleast one other judge, so the results seem more balanced. Also, I'm going to put in a rule: Winners of one IC will not be included in the judging of the next IC. Thank you all so much for joining us, it's always a lot of fun =)
[季節] Kisetsu Studios Kisetsu Studios 2014-02-07 | [Auditions Closed!]Riri: I've wanted to open an IC group for a while now, but Allie and I also wanted to work on a MEP group which focused on animes per season release and in the end we decided to open two groups under the same studio name.The first one is Kisetsu MEPs, the main part of this studio: 1. Kisetsu MEPs will focus on putting out one MEP at least every anime season. [about 4 per year] Other specials like Christmas or Halloween can be made if members are willing. 2. The animes used will be limited to only the ones released that season. We're not doing 'weather' themes, just focusing on a certain group of animes per MEP. 3. We have about 10 spots open for the MEP group. This goes up or down according to how many people audition.4. To audition, leave a comment/PM, and we'll take a look at your videos. If you want to specify a certain video you'd like us to watch, you can do so.5. Even though we enjoy watching "candy" editing, we prefer more of a raw style ourselves, so if you're the kind that likes capturing emotions and atmospheres, don't hesitate to join. 6. Please have atleast one method of contact, either Skype or tumblr or YT mail. 7.
