If you have seen another city with thousands of macaques walking by, please let me know !Another great discovery today in that city not far from Bangkok. Seeing the monkeys living their life as citizens of Lopburi among the population was an unforgettable show ! You may approach them but don't disturb them and don't get too close. They will not hesitate to attack !The city itself is also very charming with its nature and old temples. It used to be a Capital of Thailand about 4 centuries ago. It's clearly a must visit place if you are near Ayutthaya or if you are interested in Thailand history.The highlight of this day trip was to be the there during King Narai Festival where thousands of people wear Thai traditional costumes in the former palace, among wonderful lights and music.
