The male (foreground) had teased the female from her burrow. He initiates physical contact with the female, pushing her upward with his front legs while performing insemination with his pedipalps. After mating, he makes a hasty retreat while she returns to her burrow.This was the first video I ever shot with my new DSLR, so please excuse the poor execution (shaking, jumping focus, etc.).
