The man contacted us on Jan 3rd 2020 after increasingly intense nightmares restarted. After seeing what he, and we, believe to be the Lanternman in 2019, he reportedly suffered from nightmares. In October, after finding out about our channel, he relayed to us his experience, and described the encounter. After bringing the traumatic event back into the forefront of his mind, the man has been suffering nightmares again, with a greater intensity. He didn’t provide us with a lot of information, which is entirely understandable. What he did tell us is that through his dreams, he believes he has a better understanding of what he saw on the mountain. His drawings resemble a rotting corpse, which aligns with other sighting descriptions. His second drawing he sent us shows a giant bird like creature. The man says this is a representation of the entity’s hatred. The man claims that the dreams convey information in a non visual fashion, where he can feel strong emotions surrounding the Lanternman. He describes hate, sorrow, and rage. We are unsure if the entity has some way manifested these dreams in this man, or it they are just a result of the effects on the man’s psyche from the event. From established ghost theories, we know that it is believed that strong emotions can trap a spirit in our corporal plane. These emotions are all described by the man from his dreams. This lends credibility to the circulating theory that the Lanternman is the Ghost of a man who went missing and was presumed dead at the Quemahoning dam.The Lanternman of the Quemahoning Dam is an entity that is said to lurk in and around the reservoir. Reportedly, the spot was a “good ways” into the thicket, along the bank of the Que that is accessible via Birdman Road. According to the man, he had set up his spot during the daylight, and had remained in the same general area for several hours. He first noticed the light around 10 PM, when he was moving from his spot to “relieve himself.” The light was on the far side of the mountain located behind his position. According to the witness, he thought little of it, as he knew certain outdoorsmen were partial to using red tinted light sources at night. Assuming it was a hunter preparing his hunting spot, he payed little mind. Reportedly, around midnight, a storm rolled in, causing the fishing trip to abruptly end. After gathering his supplies in the pouring rain, the man began his exit of the forest, noting that the red glow was still muddling about on the mountain. Upon returning to his vehicle, he saw that he was the only person parked in the lot, which he considered unusual. The only other access a person would have to that side of the lake would make for a long hike. Now curious as to why a person would hike way out of their way, up a mountain, in the middle of a cold November night, during a rainstorm, the man decided to investigate. He assumed “The only business someone would have in a situation like this would be if they were hiding something.” As silently and carefully as possible, the man slunk up through the trees to get a closer view of what this person was up to. He managed to get within feet without being detected by hiding behind a tree, and was horrified by what he saw. What he saw looming in front of him was not human. He first described to us a “smell that could kill,” saying it closely resembled “rotten fish, but a different kind of stink.” Behind the light, the man claimed to see a dark figure, that he says looked like a shadow. He said he couldn’t bare to look, once he finally understood what he was looking at. He also described an uncontrollable sense of dread, like “if you got a phone call that your mother had passed.” After this experience, he fled straight to his car, and left as quickly as possible. The town was founded thanks to the coal mining industry, and has dropped in prosperity since the closing of WWII.In the fall of 2016, multiple Boswell residents began seeing a humanoid quadruped roaming the streets of town late at night. The sightings lasted for a few months, and the creature seemingly vanished before winter. Some witnesses claim it to have glowing white eyes, be pale in color, and very thin. The creature wound up with the nickname "The Rake," due to its resemblance to the infamous creepypasta monster. The name Brushcrawler only arose relatively recently. The creature still remains unidentified. There are rumors that the Brushcrawler never left Boswell, and is instead hiding out in the forests and thick brush around the town.On this crisp autumn night in particular, a local high school student had been walking home from her friend's house in town. According to her testimony, she had been hearing leaves rustling and gravel on the road shifting behind her for approximately two blocks. She claimed that she decided to confront whoever was following her, assuming it was most likely some of her other friends messing with her. In the event that it wasn't her friends, she thought it best to record the event on SnapChat, in case it was a mugger or bear, so there would be evidence of what happened. Many who take residence in the housing complex report poltergeist activity.On this night in particular, a relatively new hire decided to explore the estate after his shift, and record the tour to inform his friends and significant other of the beauty of the location. The original video clip has been drastically reduced in size, as the rest of the tour is insignificant in our context. According to the submitter, he was the only employee left on the premises, and did not harm any property during his travels. The field referenced in this clip expanded for a ways out from around the statue, and there was clearly no other person there. There was reportedly no way for anyone to get near the statue without being seen by the employee. This in mind, a black shape, which resembles a hand is clearly shown encroaching in on the light colored statue. Any significance of the statue is not known by us or the employee.
