YJFanVids 2013-04-11 | I'm freeee!!haha, well then, I'm free from school, and I've had this thing in the backburner for centuries, and now that I'm done school for this year, I finally had time to finish this! I know this song has been done before, but it was waaaay early into the show, and the song fits them so much!!So this video has 2 purposes, both of them milestones! First of all, I'm nearly reaching 500 subscribers on here, something that still makes me gape, because wow! It's been nearly 2 years in less than a month, and that's a lot of people, so thank you!! I hope my earlier videos didn't freak anyone out, since I think I have improved a whole bunch!The second milestone is on the YJFV tumblr. I've reached and surpassed 2,000 followers on there [yeah you read right, TWO THOUSAND!!] and am right now with 2,467 followers, and if the youtube subscribers make me gape, the amount of tumblr followers basically make me faint.I'm beyond amazed and surprised at how popular the blog became, and how much it expanded to become a sort of general YJ blog, and that the youtube channel was so successful and that people liked it so much!So really, thank you each and every single one of you, you're all amazing, and I'm not just saying that, I honestly really do think so. MEP Collection 1 YJFanVids 2012-05-10 | A fancier name for MEP dump! XDAnyway! I wanted to post this for various reasons, so, one by one!First, these parts were waaaaay overdue, like last month :P But now I only have 2 more parts to do [not overdue] so woo!For RebellaShadow's MEP we just had to showcase one character, Robin in this case, and use one voiceover, and try to match the beats and/or lyrics. Ahhhhh yeah, I seriously couldn't even tell what was being said at one point, so I just went along with it! :D Though I am kinda proud of how the beginning got synced :)For AznDramaQueen's part, I tried my best to tell a story of Artemis just reflecting on her breaking up with Roy. Hopefully the plot line is somewhat clear? It's pretty much that, Artemis and Roy had an argument because he was kissed by Cheshire, and she's just wondering what would've happened if she'd stopped him from leaving!And lastly, Macrauchenia's part is a funny story. I picked Roy on a whim, because the other characters I did want to use were gone. But then lo and behold! Roy was the mole! So that fit in nicely, and that's what this part's about! Artemis Can Do It On Her Own YJFanVids 2011-10-14 | Hey Guys!So, I'm very much still alive, trying to survive another year of University, but I'm still going.Anyway! I've been trying to get this video done for hmm, about a week and a half or so? Yeah, that's about it.Got this song after watching a very age-appropriate movie: Hoodwinked Too. [clears throat] What! I like animated movies, it can sometimes be better than half the 'masterpieces' they release for my age group.So yeah, I thought since I haven't done a video in.....a month? More? I don't know, case in point, I got struck by inspiration to do this video, and here we are!Anywho, I thought this fit Artemis, since it seems that she's had to survive through a lot, and well, she seems to be the type of person who can be really independent and doesn't need to be told what to do. Plus she's badass and is just awesome like that.So, some Repository stuff.For those that aren't aware, VotM is gone, so that's that! I'm going to finish the prizes for June and July, I'm done the art pieces from June, and need to do the videos for June, and art pieces for July. As for August and September's contest, sorry but they'll be left like that! So no prizes for those months.I'm also going to finish some MEP parts, and yeah!Now, I've been brainstorming with YJCrew, and we're trying to see about anything we could do instead of VotM. We've got a few ideas, but we're still thinking. Big Repository News + YJCrew! YJFanVids 2011-09-11 | Alright! So, I've got 15 minutes of uploading, therefore, I might ramble :/Anyway! This video doesn't do big things on effects or anything, so it might be a bit blech to people, but I think it works in my opinion.So! Yes, it's true! The Repository officially has over 1,000 videos!The actual number in 1,016, but everyone gets the idea :D I really do believe that this is an enormous accomplishment, because this means that the Repository's going strong! And the Repository's 4 months old! Incredible to look at all that was accomplished in such a short time right?Now, here's where things might get boring. I'm truly sorry that I've been neglecting getting things done....I have two MEP parts to finish, and prizes to do, and did nearly nothing this week.[Apart from going to classes]Why am I pushing it back? Because I've been feeling uninspired, not to mention unsure.I was seriously considering closing Video Of The Month, due to the relative lack of participation. Young Justices Hellbent Part 13 YJFanVids 2011-08-25 | For Zewy's MEP! And the day that I decide 'hey, let's do that MEP part' what happens? A freaking storm of Homeric proportions decides to open up, with rain, thunder, and the weather people also claim there was hail....but it wasn't that lightning that just looks like a spotlight in the sky, no I'm talking about the lightning that you can SEE actually parting the sky! Anyway! Really big storm, computer obviously has to crash, and I'm obviously the type of person that can make a whole project without saving it once......and I've regretted it quite often, but I can never will myself to save it periodically. YJCrew Information Video- Audtions: Closed! YJFanVids 2011-08-03 | Hey Guys! So, long story short, for those that don't know, I'm a uni student, and once September arrives, I'll be going back to enjoy the sweet life of uni, with all the books and assignments. Therefore, because it might be a teensy bit hard for me to juggle both things at once, I was thinking about creating a group that would help out making advertising videos! So, case in point is that I'm going to start auditions for YJCrew! And if the roleplaying-group of the same name has any issues with this, sorry!! I couldn't think of anything else, and I don't want to risk a lawsuit by the JCrew people [which is actually an established clothing trademark] For now, I don't know how many people I will add, it depends on how many applications I get. But I'm thinking on the roundabout of 10 people. I don't think I'll get many, but if I for some crazy. miraculous reason, get tons of audition videos, I'll think about increasing the number. So, criteria I'm looking for right now for the group: -I only want ONE [1] Video per person. I want you to make a video that best showcases your skills. If you submit more than one video, I will only look at the one you submitted first. -The video must be AT LEAST ONE [1] minute long. This is because the videos I need are of that length. -It has to be new, no recycling old videos. -Try to showcase everything you're capable of doing....I'm not asking for sparkles and fireworks, just try to wow me.....and keep in mind that I'm easily entertained, so you don't have to make something complex. -The Video MUST be of Young Justice! Character Appreciation Weeks YJFanVids 2011-07-18 | Hey Guys! So, here marks the start of Character Appreciation Weeks! What is it? Basically, each week, one character is showcased, and there are 5 prompts for each of them, and you can create a video based on that prompt! It's basically the like Shipping Weeks/ Months, except it's for one character. You can create one for each, and all these prompts, and you can submit it at any time....it doesn't have to be ON that day...I just put it there as a guide, but you can create videos before, during or after the specific week, I won't reproach anyone for doing so :D Yes, I'm quite aware I skipped an entire week, but I won't be here for that whole week and since I'm hosting it, I should be here for it! While I did decide that I wasn't going to add more admins to the channel, and that decision still stands, I would need people to help with making videos in the future. What am I talking about? Well, when school starts again, I'm going to be very busy at uni, sometimes too busy to make, for example, a video advertising Video Of The Month, and that's where you guys come in. I'm going to be holding auditions....nothing too fancy, for help with making videos. Of course, when you guys make videos, you'd still get full credits for it, so don't worry about authorship. I have yet to decide a name for the group..... I had thought up of Justice Crew.....but the short form would be J. Crew....and that's already a patented trademark :S And as for YJ Crew....it's apparently a roplaying group, or so google informs me. So, that's going to be appearing very soon. Anyway, the video. Yeah.....I know, not my best work.....I had a hell of a time doing the overlays.....mostly it was Roy's overlay, since the dude doesn't have a symbol, so I had to make do. Yes, I made the overlays myself...using good old Illustrator and Photoshop. And true to my word, I have to thank these people very kindly for their help: AvatarAnimeFreak and PGxScribbles. They helped me out a lot with the overlays, so I'm indebted to them. Young Justice Fan Video Repositorys June Video Of The Month Contest YJFanVids 2011-06-18 | Contest Stuff's at the end of the video, so enjoy the first part! Alright! So after the repository's been up for more than a month, and is established as such, I thought it'd be interesting to introduce something new. Video Of The Month I'm sure the concept is familiar to everyone, but just in case, let me explain how this one works: Basically, it's a contest where your fellow editors/viewers vote on the best video done this past month. So! The Videos of this 'month' consist of videos published from May 16-June 16. If you put up a video later on, worry not, they'll go for July's contest, if this contest is a success. How This Is Going To Work: First, everyone goes to the following playlist, where all eligible videos have been put up: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?p=PL87DDEC90EC10CED8 Yes, there are nearly 90 Videos here, but they're all very well done, so I don't think it'll be a torture to see them. But I'm easily amused, so I might be wrong. Dangerous Cheshire YJFanVids 2011-06-15 | EDIT: The other version wasn't that great, and plus, I didn't want to take this one down, so it shall stay up, and the other one's taken down. And I'm really terrible with that quality exporter.....Premiere: You are COMPLETELY unfriendly! :( And yes, I'm totally obsessed with the new ep, and yes, I just made a RoyxChes video.......so sue me, it's better than me having to finda sappy love song for Supermartian ;) Anyway.....I'm really getting the hang of these effects! Though I didn't do many here, it was mostly just at the beginning and the various text effects. And I'm totally in love with visualizing the beats, I have way too much fun with this :/ Hmm, nothing much more to say....battling a heavy migraine with this one :/ And I just noticed, Kaldur was wearing SHOES! Young Justice Repository Ad Video...The Preview! YJFanVids 2011-06-01 | So, here's what I've been working on! I realize that the quality borders on the bad side.....I'm still trying to figure that part out myself. Anywho! This is just a little preview, so you guys can start looking at it, and tell me how craptastic it is! I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to making vids, but I'm getting there! Enough about my pitiful excuses! About the channel: So I think it has happened to everyone that you want to see videos on your favorite YJ character, and maybe your favorite pairing, but can't find it, for some reason or another, or you don't have the patience to go through 10 pages to find a video. Or you made a video, and want people to see it, but have no way of advertising it... Well, that's what this channel is for!
