LYRICS:
Ta
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Wolność jest, mają before potem after według nich
Trzeba żyć bezrefleksyjnie jak tani hit
Ta
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Kto nie szuka prawdy, ten marionetka
Yeah, uh
El poder es el dinero, el político un monigote / Power is the money, the politician a rag doll
El sistema está diseñado para que el rico siga a flote / The system is designed to make the rich stay afloat
To make you get so exhausted that can't notice it
Because who can't see their own bars feel more free
Leyendo a Russeau, a Weber y a Thoreau / Reading Russeau, Weber and Thoreau
Porque sólo nos sirve el rebelde que se inform / Because it is only useful the rebel that gets informed
Nací en el batallón y ahí no vi la solución / I was born in the battalion and I couldn't see there the solution
That is why I use the pen to not use the cannon
Całej historii nie zobaczysz w podręcznikach
Taki hit, gdy ją tworzą walcząc na ulicach
O wolną wolę, lepsze jutro i dzisiaj
Niosą symbole, jak orzeł czy kotwica
Niekiedy wrogiem jest nie tylko obca armia
Ale nienawiść, zawiść i pogarda
Jak karabin, bomby czy kule armat
Może Cię zabić od Armaniego garniak
Mówili do ludu propaganda
Tutsi, Hutu znów tu druga Rwanda
Umiera w ciszy prawda elementarna
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Kto nie szuka prawdy, ten marionetka
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Katarynka historii, w kółko gra ten spektakl
Podręcznikowy HiT, mózgi zmielone jak metka

New instrumental album Rebel Babel Ensemble - Dialog 3 soon.
One of the first hip-hop projects based on samples from the 20s and 30s music.
In partnership with the New Orleans Jazz Museum, Rebel Babel Ensemble has created Dialog 3, a globetrotting video capturing performances by various beat makers and jazz musicians in Europe and the U.S. remixing the music of award-winning Polish composers from 20's and 30's. Look for an international, transatlantic Dialog 3 LP album with many of these artists due out in the first quarter of 2022.
Rebel Babel Ensemble, an international brass band orchestra led by Founder and Conductor Łukasz (aka L.U.C.) Rostkowski, boasts 11,000 (ever growing) international members. Together with New Orleans Jazz Museum, they have brought together over a dozen producers, DJs and musicians who have incorporated important works of selected Polish composers from the interwar period (1918 and 1939). Throughout the video, viewers will hear fragments of songs by Hanka Ordonówna, Marian Demar, Henryk Wars, Mieczysław Fogg, and Emanuel Szlachter in new hip-hop and chill-hop versions. The project was co-produced with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
A traveling concert touching down on different parts of the world beautifully captures each of the musicians in their local environment. Guest artists include DJ Qbert, Alex Hahn, Matthew Ring, Tomas Wischerath (Habitaat), Chase Huna, DJ Eprom, ES.CE, Adam Theis, Kevin Louis, Alf Alpha, DJ Decks, Mateusz Pospieszalski, Estefania Tapia, Geoffrey McManus, and L.U.C. as conductor. Locations in the U.S. included New Orleans, San Francisco, Big Sur, Coachella Valley, and Los Angeles.
L.U.C. explains, “I have an impression of a certain resemblance of the present to the ‘20s of the last century. Not only because of crazy inflation but also due to an overwhelming number of inventions, a change in the perception of reality: then through the new art form of cinema and today through the Internet, bitcoins, and virtual reality. Both eras see huge socio-economic changes, great anxiety, and a burning desire for escape, all in the specter of crisis and wars. At this moment, we want to recall the role of a peaceful dialogue between cultures. With our international concerts, we want to remind people that humanity is one orchestra that plays together in a small, lonely philharmonic hall, which is the Earth. The legendary DJ Q-Bert with amazing jazz musician Alex Hahn in the latest international concert of Rebel Babel Ensemble conducted by Lukas L.U.C. Rostkowski.
This video is just a small preview of the Polish Film Composers series concert that full premiere is scheduled on 20.12 at LUCfilms and NOLA Jazz Museum.
The international, open orchestra Rebel Babel Ensemble has already joined over 11,000 musicians. Parallel to the work on the album with Polish artists, Dialog 2, an international, transatlantic album Dialog 3 with musicians from Europe and the USA is being created. Roaring 20's 2022 is the latest production of L.U.C., which, in cooperation with the Jazz Museum from New Orleans, brought together over a dozen producers, DJs and jazz musicians in a concert referring to the works of the Polish interwar period. We will hear fragments of songs by Hanka Ordonówna, Marian Demar, Henryk Wars, Mieczysław Fogg, Emanuel Szlachter in new hip-hop and chill-hop versions. A traveling concert showing musicians and their environments and landscapes from different parts of the world will be heard and seen on 20.12 on the LUCfilms channel and on the channels of the Jazz Museum in New Orleans. The concert was co-produced with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
L.U.C. - It is said that history rarely repeats itself, but it often rhymes. I have an impression of a certain resemblance of the present to the 20s of the last century not only becouse of the crazy inflation. An overwhelming number of inventions, a change in the perception of reality then through moving images and cinema - today through the Internet, bitcoins and virtual reality. Huge socio-economic changes, escape from freedom and great anxiety in the specter of the crisis and even wars. At that moment, we wanted to recall the role of a peaceful dialogue between cultures. With our international concerts, we want to remind that humanity is one orchestra that plays together in a small, lonely philharmonic hall, which is the Earth, suspended in an empty and cold space. One Planet, One Love, One Ensemble.

Legendarny DJ Qbert ze znakomitym saksofonistą Alexem Hahnem w utworze zapowiadającym niezwykły międzynarodowy koncert DIALOG 3 Rebel Babel Ensemble pod batutą Łukasza L.U.C. Rostkowskiego.
Międzynarodowa, otwarta orkiestra Rebel Babel Ensemble połączyła już ponad 11.000 muzyków. Równolegle z pracą nad albumem z polskimi artystami Dialog 2 powstaje międzynarodowy, transatlantycki album Dialog 3 z muzykami z Europy i USA. Roaring 20's 2022 to najnowsza produkcja L.U.C., który w kooperacji z Muzeum Jazzu z Nowego Orleanu połączył kilkunastu producentów, dj'ów i muzyków jazzowych w koncercie nawiązującym do utworów polskiego dwudziestolecia międzywojennego. Usłyszymy fragmenty piosenek Hanki Ordonówny, Mariana Demara, Henryka Warsa, Mieczysława Fogga, Emanuela Szlachtera w nowych hip-hopowych i chill-hopowych wersjach.
Przytłaczająca ilość wynalazków, zmiana postrzegania rzeczywistości wtedy poprzez ruchomy obraz i kino - dziś poprzez internet, bitcoiny i wirtualną rzeczywistość.

Najnowszy singiel "Więcej" to 3 piosenka z nadchodzącej płyty Dialog 2.

A music video announcing the new single from the long-maturing album Dialog 2 - L.U.C. & Rebel Babel Ensemble.
Patrycja Markowska and Grzegorz Markowski (Perfect) and Bisz in the newest single of the international orchestra Rebel Babel Ensemble. Playing for peace and dialogue between nations and musical genres, the orchestra founded by Łukasz L.U.C. Rostkowski in 2016, joined by over 11,000 musicians from 16 countries.
The latest single "More" is the 3rd song from the upcoming album Dialog 2.
The song draws attention to the increasingly serious problem of global pollution and social problems connected with social media. It refers to the famous words "We want to be ourselves", sung by Grzegorz Markowski in Perfect, adopting them to the hyper-consumerist modernity.
Since the album Homoxymoronomatura recorded in 2006 with Rahim, L.U.C draws attention to ecological problems and the devastation of nature. The newest album of Rebel Babel Ensemble DIALOG 2 will focus heavily on this subject.

Transcontinental eco-acoustic video-performance where brass bands from Polish and American cities perform jazz interpretations of Polish film composers from Hollywood, operating on the border between jazz, classic and film music. We will hear, among others K. Komeda's composition from Polański's Rosemary's Baby performed by the Grammy-winning HOT 8 Brass Band and Tower Trumpeters Tubicinatores Gedanenses. Jazz Mafia from California will interpret the iconic Invitation and Green Dolplhin Street by Bronisław Kaper, performed also by, Johne Coltrane and Miles Davis. Shag Horns interpret Jan A.P. Kaczmarek Finding Neverland Oscar winning composition. Krakow Buskers Band will play a mash-up of Henryk Wars works. The concert will also be attended by musicians from Rebel Babel Ensemble, incl. unique „skrzypotrąby” (stringbrass) and Gdańsk tubicinatores Gedanenses renaissance Carillon. Interestingly, at this concert, all orchestras played acoustically, without massive sound systems and electricity to draw attention to the problem of air quality in our cities. The music will be accompanied by beautiful landscapes of American and European cities. The concert will be available on the website of the NOLA RIVER FEST and Nola Jazz Museum. Performance directed by L.U.C. - Rebel Babel founder and director is co-produced with Jazz Museum in New Orleans and Institute of Adam Mickiewicz.
Rebel Babel Ensemble and it's film music branch - RB Film Orchestra is an international orchestra of orchestras that meets world brass mucisians. Within 5 years almost 11.000 artists from 16 countries played with this unique project created to show the beauty of regional sounds and also to build peace and dialog between the nations and musical genres.
Zdobywcy Grammy HOT 8 Brass Band i gdańska carillonistka Monika Kaźmierczak oraz Tower Trumpeters Tubicinatores Gedanenses w wyjątkowej aranżacji wykonają Dziecko Rosemary Krzysztofa Komedy. Shag Horns zagra nagrodzoną Oscarem kompozycję Jana A.P. Kaczmarka do filmu Marzyciel. Jazz Mafia z Kalifornii zinterpretuje kultowe Invitation i On Green Dolphin Street Bronisława Kapera, które grywał niegdyś sam Miles Davies. Buskers Band prosto z krakowskiego rynku wykonają składankę utworów Henryka Warsa. W koncercie wezmą udział również muzycy Rebel Babel Ensemble wraz z unikatowymi wrocławskimi „Skrzypotrąbami” i zagrają fragment ścieżki dźwiękowej Wojciecha Kilara do filmu Dracula.

This video is an element of Peace Rhapsody - international concert with KRS ONE, Rakim, Chuck D, Kurtis Blow and Rebel Babel Ensemble for New York's Universal Hip Hop Museum and United Nations on the International Day of Peace. We dedicate this part to our neighbors on Belarus.
Since 2016 Rebel Babel Ensemble plays around the World for peace and dialog, meeting musicians, DJ’s and rappers from different countries. The orchestra of orchestras shows the beauty of different languages in musical and lingual meaning.
Outstanding Polish and American DJ’s (Dj Eprom, Dj Decks, Rob Swift, Dj Riz, Dilly Rowe) scratched with original speeches by Nobel Peace Prize winners - among others Martin Luther King and Malal Yousafzai. They are accompanied by orchestras from San Francisco, Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw and, among others, the Grammy Award-winning orchestra - Hot 8 Brass Band from New Orleans. The artists have jointly shot an intercontinental concert based on cult hip-hop fragments from the 90s arranged for the Big Band by L.U.C and Pawel Hulisz.
Rebel Babel Ensemble in 5 years has met over 10836 musicians from 15 countries. The Big Band fulfills the dreams of young musicians, combining them with their idols at festival concerts and ecological and acoustic performances. The touring orchestra always plays with local musicians, showing the beauty of different regions and cultures.
Hip Hop 4 Peace is a project prepared in cooperation with NOLA Jazz Museum, UHHM and Polish partner cities: Krakow, Gdansk, Poznan and Wroclaw.
Prezentujemy fragment Peace Rhapsody - międzynarodowego koncertu m.in. z KRS ONE, Rakimem, Chuck D, Kurtis Blow i Rebel Babel Ensemble dla nowojorskiego Universal Hip Hop Museum i United Nations z okazji międzynarodowego dnia pokoju.
Wybitni polscy i nowojorscy Dj'e (Dj Eprom, Dj Decks, Rob Swift, Dj Riz, Dilly Rowe) zaskreczowali oryginalnymi przemówieniami laureatów pokojowej nagrody Nobla - m.in. Martina Luthera Kinga czy Malala Yousafzai. Towarzyszą im orkiestry z San Francisco, Krakowa, Gdańska, Wrocławia oraz m.in nagrodzona Grammy orkiestra - Hot 8 Brass Band z Nowego Orleanu.
Podróżująca orkiestra gra zawsze z lokalnymi muzykami, ukazując piękno różnych regionów i kultur.
Hip Hop 4 Peace to projekt przygotowany we współpracy z NOLA Jazz Museum, UHHM oraz partnerskimi miastami Polski: Krakowem, Gdańskiem, Poznaniem i Wrocławiem.

39/89 odbiega tematyką od wcześniejszych płyt L.U.C. To przełomowa płyta tworząca swoisty gatunek muzyki dokumentalnej.
Album nagrodzony m.in. Paszportem Polityki i Wrocławską
Nagrodą Muzyczną.

z totalitaryzmami lat 1939-1989. Album nagrodzony m.in. Paszportem Polityki i Wrocławską
Nagrodą Muzyczną.
