Back in the day, in 2007, Buffy&Spike were the couple that got me into vidding in the first place. Almost 15 years later, I still love them so much that they inspired me to vid again. First, I have to say that this song is, IMO, perfect for Spuffy, and I have no idea how no one vidded it with them before. Second, I know this video has many problems, especially the pacing. But I went with what felt right. The video is entirely from Spike's POV, basically about the mind-f*ck that being in love with Buffy is for him - how he knew it was impossible really, but her hot and cold attitude, mixed signals confused and hurt him. And despite all that, he kept loving her. Though no one can convince me that Buffy didn't love him (she did, she was just too stubborn, afraid, and messed up to admit it to herself), and while admitting Spike is far far from perfect and made some huge mistakes (and not talking about the AR), I think it really fits the way the relationship went for him. I won't rant about Spuffy now, maybe in the next video that I have planned for them if I manage to make it. Olivia&Fitz - We seemed like a good idea [5x09] NightlyEvilTM 2015-12-03 | Watch in HD!Ok, I finally finished it. It was pretty much making itself, actually. The song is just so them. As I said on the preview, my feelings for "Scandal" are pretty mixed. It's good, but I don't find it as amazing as most people do, and I think some plot stuff are pretty naive. But it has perfect actors, directors and the writing of the characters is brilliant. I gotta say that most of the time I don't like Olivia or Fitz as individuals. And I also like Olake, even though I feel the same way about Jake that I do about Fitz and Liv. But that is what I find brilliant about the writing - that even if most of the time I don't like who the characters are, I feel for them and I understand them. As for these two, they are both so messed up, so broken and so raw - that is what draws me to them. They have done horrible things for and to each other Sometimes they make each other better, sometimes they make each other worse. And even though in my own life I agree with Eddison that love isn't supposed to be painful, the pain is what make those two epic and amazing. The way they love each other is so much bigger than themselves. In real life, if any of them were my friend, I'd tell them 'To hell with him/her, you shouldn't be with someone whose love hurts you and you loving them hurts you'. But they are just so powerfully written and so amazingly played by Kelly and Tom that I can't help it. Their last scene was so raw and emotional it made me shiver and inspired me to vid them. Still, I didn't plan to edit Scandal, cause my feelings are pretty mixed, but then 5x09 happened with this scene and here we are...I am not sure if I even like Fitz or Olivia as individuals. They can both be selfish, vindictive, manipulative, stubborn. All of them have done unforgivable stuff to many people. And I gotta say I like Olake very much, even though just the same I am not really sure I like Jake as a person. (Hah, honestly - the only ones I truly liked as individuals, as people, were Harrison and James). But these two... All the angst, the passion. That is what draws me to them. The pain. Rhaegar, Lyanna, Robert&Cersei - A sadder story [ASOIAF/GOT] NightlyEvilTM 2015-06-21 | Watch in HD, please!So, I know I posted the Elena and Delena previews ages ago, but the muse wants what the muse wants! And last night I got this idea which i just HAD to execute (though I did a terrible job). Yeah, I am a Game of thrones and A song of ice and fire. And I am a huge believer in R+L=J (and btw, I think the key to how Jon survives/comes back lays exactly in this), and I think Jon was conceived with love, rather than a product of rape. In this video, I tried to show the story of Lyanna, Rhaegar and Robert, and even Cersei, they way I feel it, imagine it and see it. For those who don't find it clear enough - here is a summary. Robert Baratheron and Lyanna Stark were betrothed. But Lyanna wasn't quite happy about it since she felt nothing for him. She and prince Rhaegar Targarien met, there was obviously a spark. On the tournament of Harrenhall, when Rhaegar won and had to name the queen of love and beauty, everyone expected him to pick his wife, Elia Martell, but he gave the roses to Lyanna. According to most people, after that he kidnapped her (aka the voiceover of Bran telling Osha about it), but the truth was she left with him willingly. Robert was hurt and believed Lyanna was kidnapped, miserable, etc. While she was happy and she and Rhaegar were in love. Robert decided to start the rebllion to get her back. When he and Rhaegar though, the prince died, which broke Lyanna. Her brother Ned found her in the Tower of Joy dying, and with her last words, she made him give her a promise (NOTE, I am not showing her pregnant or having had Jon on purpose, I want the focus to be on other stuff). Robert was heartbroken. As the new king, he had to marry and he married Cersei Lannister, who at the time worshipped him. But Roberth never forgot Lyanna, even almost 20 years later. I hope I managed to do well with this video. At first, I was gonna use Liv Tyler (Arwen) and Orlando Blum (Legolas) ot Thranduil (Lee Pace) as Lyanna and Rhaegar, and I decided against it. Sorry for the bad quality of the Rhaegar clips, but it was the only version of The Witcher that my Sony Vegas opened. Because lte's face it - some pretty cool couple are hardly ever vidded. So here it is!WHAT THIS MEANSThis means couples like Damon&Elena, Hayley&Elijah, Mary&Francis, Chuck&Blair, Hazel&Gus, Katniss and Peeta are no go! Instead, I want to see couples like Matt&Caroline, or Rebekah&Marcel, Nate&Vanessa, Katniss&Gale, Kenna&Henry, etc... THESE ARE ONLY EXAMPLES, I AM NOT PRESSURING ANYONE TO USE THIS COUPLES! Also, I am used in the example couples from shows and movies I do know. But you can audition any under vidded couple you like. But I think that Forwood can never be the same as too much had happened and Tyler changed too much, and Katherine is gone, I've accepted it. And tbh, even if that hadn't happened, I still would've probably shipped those two, cause I think this is the healphiest and most sweet relationship on this show. These two have this amazing connection, a beautiful friendship, and now a spark that is really so adorable. And I do think and hope they will be endgame. God knows, they deserve it! This was originally planned to be a 6x14 video, but I had issues with my laptop, and I didn't have it for several days, so I couldn't finish it before 6x15 aired, and after Stefan's look while Caroline singed, and his conversation with Damon, I couldn't NOT include the new episode. And this season has been amazing for Damon and Elena, probably the best one imo. And that scene in 6x13 was pure epicness and it just SCREAMED 'Make a journey video'. Though this is not the exact thing you imagine when you think of this type of vids. Firstly, it's like (almost?) all in Elena's point of view. And I tried to do sth - I separated the scene from 6x13, and after every part, I tried to tell a little story or to show something, a memory or memories linked to that part of Elena's speech.
