Parkour Dance CompanyExcerpts from a performance piece called Danger Risk of Falling.
In a society where actions are put in place to prevent so-called 'risks' how does this affect the human psyche and interaction with one another and the environment? If risks are not undertaken are chances lost, dreams left undiscovered or dangers avoided? If we don't risk anything do we jeopardise even more?

As part of the Event Horizon project, a range of statues were placed on the rooftops of very prominent buildings, each silently watching over the bustling crowds below. Since they were generally inaccessible, they decided to find the few at ground level and play around with the messages of duality, gaze and ephemeral familiarity expressed by the artist.
The idea was originally conceived when it was reported that half of the world's population was reported to live in cities. The artist's intention was to get the sculptures as visible as possible against the sky, allowing each to be seen as a body against light and space, entering in and out of visibility to those walking the streets.
