wie das leben einem bestimmten kette-mitglied jüngst so spielte macht jetzt nochmal ein ganz neues feld auf. eines das wir nicht unkommentiert lassen wollen.
hier ein persönlicher blickwinkel zum song von michael:
beim ersten hören mag 'roter BMW (frontal)' wie eine erzählung über eine zerstörerische beziehung wirken. doch für mich entfaltet sich darin auch ein anderes bild - eins, das sich mir vor kurzem eingebrannt hat nach einem realen autounfall, der mehr war als ein moment aus knallendem metall auf metall. der song öffnet eine tür zu einem abgrund, der sich oft hinter einem funktionierenden alltag versteckt – dort, wo erschöpfung nicht mehrdurch ruhe heilt und das bloße weiterleben zur anstrengung wird, die innerlich aushöhlt.
diese fahrt, von der gesungen wird, fühlt sich für mich an wie eine schwarze pest: lautlos, plötzlich, überwältigend. in seiner kryptischen sprache spiegelt der song für mich auch suizidale gedanken wider - nicht direkt, aber scharf genug, dass sie wieder anklopfen.
wer mit themen wie psychischer krankheit, depression oder suizidgedanken kämpft, sollte sich bewusst sein: das dazugehörige video und der song können trigger auslösen, die sich leise und plötzlich aus vertrauten szenen entfalten und tiefer schneiden können, als es zuerst erscheint.

Da waren überall Strahler, Scheinwerfer und sogar ne Nebelmaschine am Start. Als wir so vor dieser Kirmes-Szenerie standen, dachten wir, dass der Aufwand für die paar Szenen ja fast schon zu schade wäre, weshalb wir kurzerhand noch eine kleine live Session zu dem Song gefilmt hatten.
