In this video, I'm talking about why I am against book bans, even when the author is (as in this case) abhorrent. I support everyone's right to decide what they want to read, but it is not right to tell someone what they are allowed to read.
To be very clear: Orson Scott Card's homophobic views are disgusting to me and this is video not an endorsement of him or even of his books. I do not ask anyone to separate the books from the author in their own decisions about what to read. Again, that is a personal choice.
