A few years ago I made a video on AE2 Stuff Advanced Inscriber Processor Auto-Crafting, but that mod was discontinued and today we have a mod called AE2 Things which is kind of a modern replacement. However, the Advanced Inscriber works a bit differently this time - I would say to the better.
There is no need to watch the old video prior to this one, but it can be found here as reference:
youtube.com/watch?v=JfHEeODlyTM
Regarding the power issue in the AE2 Stuff, I had a problem providing power through Quartz Fiber. In my old test world I simply placed another energy cell for the subnet, but it should be possible to find a workaround for that. I didn't investigate it further as it's an old mod, but in AE2 Things it's not a problem.
I forgot to mention it in the video, so in case it wasn't obvious I should say that a big difference between the two builds is that the "old" build is only using one channel, making it better for early game. The second requires eight channels as I built it, but is faster when ordering different types of processors at the same time. It would of course be optimal to have one more silicon inscriber (to balance it), or simply increase the amount of printed silicon to have in stock!
Final note is that I want to remind you on the difference in patterns for the two builds. In the first build we only use the base ingredients as the middle steps are handled in the subnet. The second build is "normal" auto-crafting with patterns (and Pattern Providers) for every component.

At this time, I mostly see these cards as useful for specific setups, as most of the time you want to make use of all items you gather. As mentioned in the video, instead of destroying items you might want to condense them, but perhaps not always! Or that you set up a smaller network with specific items and might get a surplus of some items but don't want to send them back to the main network.
In some occations, the combination of these two cards can be really useful, but not for everyone. If you come up with more builds, feel free to share! :)

Make sure to check the previous video first unless you're an AE2 pro and can jump straight into an existing build ;) The video can be found in the AE2 playlist (link below).
I got a few comments on the previous build and also had ideas of my own. Now the build really feels complete! The multiple tier auto-balancing could of course be expanded even further, Compressed Cobblestone (from Extra Utilities, in eight tiers?) directly comes to mind.
In the demonstration I removed 64 ingots from the system, I probably should have pulled nuggets as well to show the balancing in all tiers but trust me - it works ;)

This goes back to an old build from 2015 where I had a crafting CPU to handle the small network. I wanted to improve it and I really think that I did with this build! Also really fun to use the built-in automatic crafting function in the Molecular Assembler :)
The build can probably be expanded to Blocks of Iron/Gold as well, but also for other items you can craft to more compact versions of (Wheat and Hay bale perhaps?). In a modpack you probably have even more possibilities!
A comment regarding that final amount of ingot could go down and up: Let's say you have 8 nuggets in the Assembler and we use up 8 nuggets from the main network in a crafting job. The system will use an ingot to craft 9 nuggets and then place 8 of them in the 64-storage. That final nugget will be sent to the "overflow chest", end up in the Assembler and craft an ingot as it was the final one required. The ingot will be sent back to the main network and we're back on the same amount as before. That's why you could see the final amount jump down and up again at around 20:20.

The only thing I forgot to mention as a downside in this build is the noise from the piston. If this is a problem for you I'm sure you can find another clock that works just as good. I should also mention that if I incresed the speed too much in this piston clock the block sometimes got stuck and separated from the sticky piston. Not sure why this would happen, but maybe it retracted before block ended up in correct place, so I think it's best to keep the clock slow like I have in the video!
The previous video covered the entire brewing setup:
youtube.com/watch?v=GgPVgJmH9q4
Note that this build depends on existing infrastructure, storage, crafting CPUs and main controller. All this has been covered in many other videos already. I wanted this video to only focus on the Water Bottle part, and I did it in a detailed approach with a demonstration build - as I get many requests to not only show an already existing build.
Please excuse my bad voice in this video, I had been sick for a week and believe it or not but the voice had actually been much, much worse! Hope it was not too disturbing!

Well, everything except for the Water Bottles, I don't think it's possible to do with "vanilla" AE2 but if I find out I will make sure to tell you here and in a follow-up video. It's straight-forward with various other mods but as this is an AE2 video I left that part open.

The old growing-seed-in-water system is gone, these days we grow Certus Quartz Crystals on Budding blocks. It took me a little while to make this work, and as mentioned in the video this is my first version of the build. If I think of minor details I'll try to keep the video description updated. In case we come up with a much better build I guess I'll make a new video :)
One reason I made the build to break the budding block after only one tier of decay is that it made my crafting recipe for Flawed Block simpler, otherwise I would need one more auto-crafting pool for blocks.

Overloaded is designed to be an endgame mod with very powerful and expensive blocks and items. In this video I cover roughly half of them: Infinity Storage and Hyper Transfer. There are no blocks for "regular" transfer so I had to use some other mods for my builds - see those as "generic" as most mods with transfer blocks would do the same thing.

As I said in the video: this is actually not a game because it has no game mechanics (meaning a goal or just any win/lose scenario). But with this is as a base it would probably be possible to add such. Please note that I am no programmer, I just tried a few things for fun and it grew into a bigger thing but still only for fun! And because I put quite some time do make this I felt like it deserved to be documented in some form.
I might add more info here but feel free to ask questions or just comment and I might add things based on those - in case I need to clarify anything here.
This is the tileset/spriteset that I used:
merchant-shade.itch.io/16x16-mini-world-sprites
I have modified some of them very slightly, such as adding some colors that I felt was missing. It's an awesome tileset though!

Over time I have received many questions regarding the original build, and most of the time the problem has been a misplaced block or similar, but thanks to some questions/problems we found out about some mod updates and they are solved in this video!
In this video I have gone through the build in even greater detail as some parts in the original video was a bit too fast (based on the many questions I got on stuff that actually was shown in the video). Also, I hope that the colors will make things more obvious as well!
The detail with adding a Chest is something I haven't had time to investigate that much yet but I was told by user Mari_023 that the old design will work if the receiving Interface (from Pattern Provider) can be configured to accept all items from the base recipes and that will remove the need for the chest!

This video is the first recorded in this survival world, but the focus of this series will be to cover as much as possible of a selected few mods in a realistic way. I have covered many of these mods before in pure tutorial videos but those are for earlier versions. I'm learning about small and big changes as I'm playing and will cover as much as possible in tutorial videos like this one (or at least that's the plan). Every video will probably have a slight change to the format depending on what to cover!
I will not focus much on recipes as they change every now depending on versions and modpack configs, but block functionality is usually the same so I will concentrate on how to build and use the different mods. Speaking of mods I reserve the right to change this modpack as I please... :)

You can store entities, yourself and other players in a Spatial Storage Cell. Or is it a Spatial Storage Dimension? I think that makes more sense in a way :) In this video I tried to cover a basic way to run the system but it can be improved I'm sure. Something I'll look more into, and feel free to share your ideas!
After recording this video I made a test with a Cow - storing it in a cell. But it didn't follow back when doing the second swap! However, if I went there myself and was swapped back together with the Cow - it worked. I'm not sure of why this is, but perhaps the Cow is unloaded somehow, so only blocks follow unless there's a player in the dimension as well? Unclear...

This run was submitted to speedrun.com but because it was edited I had to re-post another video with raw footage. It has no commentary and I recommend watching this instead :) But you can find it here:
youtube.com/watch?v=gqZP3eiQvv8
Video posted here:
speedrun.com/rushn_attack
Run begins on frame 1046 (first frame with graphics after intro/black screen) and ends on frame 35562 (first black frame). Please tell me if I got this wrong but this is how I interpreted the "rules" :)
avidemux counts the total time to 9:34.317 and if calculated 35562 frames with 60.1 FPS (according to Mesen) the run is 9:34.309 which seems to align quite well. It also means there is basically no lag in this run. In Vegas (editing software) the run counts to 9:34 and 19 frames which means 9:34:3166666... which corresponds to avidemux so this should be correct. Video is captured in 60fps with OBS.
Livesplit times will always be slightly delayed because of reaction time :) You can deduct around 0.2 seconds from each split to get "real time". Perhaps I should have started the clock 0.2s later to count for that, I'm not sure how other people do though.
Played on emulator on PC using the software "Mesen".
Splits in detail, frame count on when every level end (first black frame after boss fight):
Start: 1046
Lvl 1: 4813
Lvl 2: 9777
Lvl 3: 16223
Lvl 4: 22959
Lvl 5: 28414
End: 35562

Previously, these two blocks was only the Interface, some of the functionality has been moved out from the Interface and placed in the new block Pattern Provider. And by covering the Provider I wanted to cover the Interface how it's used from now on and also give a few examples of how to use it. This is a standalone purchase to the base game - which you of course need to play the DLC. I hope I covered enough of the game content in how to play puzzles without spoiling anything. There are plenty of puzzles so I thought a few should be fine ;)
If you have played the base game before, the 20 tutorial levels should be done quickly and you can start playing other's and then make your own. I can see the fun in both tricky/creative solutions as well as smart/compact builds or tricks!

I have tried it in survival mode but to be honest I find it hard to make Ghasts go where I want them to. I wouldn't say it's impossible though, and the Pylons can resist the projectiles and explosions. Not sure how realistic it is, but it had to be done that way for this video... :)
Power requirement is another problem, you probably need some other mod to help with that part... Make the structure as small as possible to reduce energy requirement!
*SCS = Spatial Containment Structure
If you noticed that the Spatial Storage Cell had a different name in the end you were indeed observant and correct! Due to a bad recording of the first release I had to capture and release a new Ghast.

I have tested this build with both one and two water source blocks, and I had both good and bad results with Formation Plane facing upwards. Before recording I had the issues I mentioned, but after recording I went back to test it again with no problems at all. I recommend testing what works for you, and please share your results in the comments!
Placing Growth Accelerators on bottom should work just fine, the system is as far as I understand designed to be able to handle six accelerators, but that makes it hard to insert the seeds like we do in this video :) Four accelerators makes it fast enough as you can grow lots of seeds at the same time.
At the time of releasing this video I recommend placing the Formation Plane on the side (and accelerator on three sides plus bottom. Both one and two water source blocks seems to work fine though. Annihilation plan of course goes on top, but in case there are issues I could imagine having a bottom source block and then the top water flowing to the side and finally picking items up a few blocks away - either from the side or bottom.

This video was made in part because I am preparing just a little for D2 Resurrected and also wanted to "document" a full run for me and anyone interested. Well, not full-full as in all three difficulties, but at least a normal playthrough with all content! Note that I didn't include any cinematics or speech to add the lore to the video. I think that is better to experience by yourself :)
Regarding the use of PlugY:
I added it to get more stash space to make the playthrough more convenient for both me and you, but the plugin can change much more than that. In a normal game you can't change stats and talents on the fly, and I abused it at one spot after I took my belt off and couldn't get it back on again :)
Find it here: https://plugy.free.fr/
Because I used PlugY and had good money, I could have saved all rings and amulets and do some Cube crafting for better gear. I didn't think of it during the playthrough but in a normal game without PlugY you don't have much storage and the possibilities of saving things for crafting is quite limited.
The old video with all quests included I mentioned is this one:
youtube.com/watch?v=vpwYjRLinQ0
Note that it's not a regular playthrough, rather edited as a "tribute" to the game. There I included most of all speech and quest info in a different way.
My notes in the top right corner is based on a leveling chart I have looked at. It will give some pointers of what level to be in different acts. You can probably find it, but here's a link:
purediablo.com/strategy/diablo-2-guide-level-up-guide-v1-10
As a final note: this game is natively in 800x600 and in the old video I had a working Windows Borderless Gaming profile but for some reason I couldn't get it working now, so image is very slightly zoomed from a Window mode and it was harder than I thought to get it in position. And on top of that every now and then I moved the window by mistake which made it worse. Hopefully it's not too disturbing.

I always liked the manual work in Tinkers Construct, the feeling of "making" so to say. That includes both building tools and smelting/casting things. But after some time it gets repetitive handling the smeltery, automating parts makes it fun again! I don't know how useful this build is, but it's a fun build :)
The key to this build is to only activate the top Import Bus when you really have to. From AE2, the only tool you have at hand is a Level Emitter but on the positive side you can use it with pipes/ducts from other mods. In my first version of this build I used Fluiducts and activated them with Redstone, so there are probably simple ways to make this in your world.
ALSO: You just as well use a Redstone Card in the top Import bus and totally skip the Toggle Bus. I should have mentioned that in the video but I completely forgot. The result is equal and the difference is only the cost of resources (and like 1 AE/t in power drain per Import Bus). I actually didn't compare as I'm so used to work in Creative so I tend to forget that part... If you look carefully on the thumbnail, I had this setup on one side so you can maybe see how it looks!
Thinking about it, you could have two Level Emitters for each Import Bus (one at the top as well), which means you can actually have TWO recipes per drain, as the Import Bus can get a Capacity Card and have two molten metals filtered. As long as they are not alloys and one of the ingredients :)
If you don't know how to fill a bucket (to filter the Import Bus) I suggest watching this video:
youtube.com/watch?v=tO4EGgf0PPY
The drawback of this build is that you can't really do several jobs at the same time, this is no difference from normal Smeltery work but if you include different Ingots in automated recipes there's a risk of them getting ordered at the same time. If you would order, say Tin Ingots. And then at the same time order Bronze (Copper + Tin), both Level Emitters will be turned on and will probably suck out all Tin before the Bronze is finished and you're left with Molten Copper and the Bronze would not finish.
I was looking at some other alloys from other mods as well, such as Signalum, where you need Molten (Destabalized) Redstone. However, not everything can be smelted in the Smeltery. Redstone can (in this pack) only be smelted in Magma Crucible, and if you have those machines (from Thermal Expansion) you might as well make the alloying in the MC instead of in a smeltery.

Text above and headline to be updated when time is beaten! Make sure to notify me when that happens. And I know that this is not fully comparable with NTSC version of the game, but because I currently only own the game as PAL it felt best to play this version to start with as it's the one I'm used to. And to be fully honest: at the time of posting this is the only submitted PAL run. So in "any region" this is not comparable, but it's still not a bad run in my opinion :)
Played on Emulator using the emulator "Mesen". Streamed live on Twitch and was lucky to get this run on first try on stream! Had a great run after this but made a mistake only 30 seconds from finishing the run that would have been a second better... Still something to push for!
This run has one "safe strat" on the third level, skipping that could save between 1 and 2 seconds, I think, which I will push for now!
For some reason I panicked on the level 5 boss and jumped into a shot. I was very lucky to not get hit one or a few frames earlier. If death animation is finished before level ends the character will die. I do this "trick" every now and then, but I try to have more margin! :)
Run starts at frame 1037 and ends on 35772 which in 50 fps means 694.7 seconds or 11:34:70. Game runs in 50 fps on PAL so the final 0.7 seconds is 35 frames. Every frame is 20 ms.
Please note that I'm very new to speedrunning, and I usually don't stream. Probably made many mistakes in recording, timing and all that, so feel free to tell me in a nice and constructive way ;)

For this fight I made sure to have the best bow I could have, and to use at least two types of arrows. Stamina and health potions are also good to have in addition to good armor. I never went into melee range so I don't know how that plays out.
How to find the summon spot was covered in the previous video in this series and how to spawn was shown in this. Three eggs, and I was lucky to have two eggs on this mountain, so you don't always need to find all eggs before you go to the mountain.
The reward makes it possible to move on to the final "age" or "tier" and begin with black metal. Oh, and sailing will be easier as well now :)

I have been spending a lot of time in the mountains, and to be honest it wasn't a big step forward in gameplay. The addition of snow was easily handled with potions until you get your first upgrade. Unless you die, then you need a potion while fetching your stuff.
It was quite fun to find silver at first, and it was easier to gather compared to iron. But after that the mountains quickly grows old, meaning that that first "wow" feels "meh" for the most of the time. Golems and double star wolves makes it harder (and slower) but to be honest I don't think there was much more new stuff that changed gameplay much.
This is the app I used to find the Stone Tower:
https://valheim-map.world/
With almost full silver/wolf gear I'm quite prepared to take on Moder, and that is covered in the next video!

Edit: For 1.17 and newer you use Pattern Provider instead, check updated build here:
youtube.com/watch?v=T-rUqXeVjmk
And for 1.18 they did a minor change that needs an additional fix:
youtube.com/watch?v=fJCYtO02-Hw
Please note that this build is using only vanilla AE2 items and blocks. Don't compare with one-block solutions from mod addons!
After a discussion on Discord I looked into a compact build and got inspired! I haven't built one like that before and wanted to share how it came out. I only watched bits and pieces of the build but I imagine they are very similar!
This is the video that inspired me:
youtube.com/watch?v=tgnYpYLfk30
The two features making things so compact is:
1. Using back side as both in and out
2. Rotating Inscribers

I didn't show it in the video, but the "Vegvisir Bonemass" rune can be found in crypts (in Swamps), and I have covered them in a previous video. By exploring crypts (while getting Iron) you should have found one.
Summon Bonemass by sacrificing 10 Withered Bones, but before rushing to that I recommend preparing the area so you can easily run around without getting stuck or slowed by water pools. I recommend having a quite large area, and perhaps two circles instead of one as I had.
I almost lost the fight in the end when I got poisoned... just because I wanted to end with a nice mace punch! But all ended well, and this was my first time fighting this boss, so I'm quite happy with that!
Perhaps the volume was a bit low during the fight, I forgot to turn it up when my microphone channel was on mute. Sorry :)

I noticed later that the "smoked" debuff might have came from the Cauldron, but it's not impossible that both could cause it. A minor detail though as the damage is hardly noticable. The Cauldron doesn't need to be placed there, and regarding placement you don't need to keep the Fermenter close to the Forge - it's only when placing it!
The comment regarding how many fermenter you "need" was based on keeping a constant production up. Personally, I seem to not use them as fast so the stock of Honey builds up quickly. Will probably be needed later in the game though!

Before going into the swamps, I would highly recommend getting poison resistance potions! Health wouldn't hurt either of course :) I didn't start with potions until after this video was recorded and I can only say that I should have started with that after crafting my first bow.
Swamps are hard to traverse, mostly because I get lost when it's dark, but also because there's water everywhere and I keep ending up in it when fighting mobs and running around. As said in the video, it's a good idea to make paths. It makes it easier to find your way and keeps you safe from leeches.
Sorry about the bumping sounds from my keyboard, I guess it slipped out of position and must have been touching the table in a weird way...

Coming to this fight with almost no clue of what was waiting, and I had to struggle a bit until I found a cheap method that worked. It was kind of a boring fight because of the low dps, and I'm sure there are better ways to take it down! I read afterwards that camp fires on the ground is a way to deal continous damage but I haven't tried it yet. Also, put down a portal not too far away from the "fight area" as I had a bit too long to run.
You might have noticed the screen shaking a lot! This can be turned off in the setting as it's a bit disturbing in such a long fight with many shaking elements.
Instead of just going to the kill directly in the video I wanted to go through the character status just to give an idea of how the fight looks with that level of gear. Was I undergeared? No, I don't think so, but at the same time there might be better or more appropriate gear to use!
I actually died twice before finding the working method, you might have spotted it because I had the tombstone in a different spot after the kill. Rewarded with the swamp key puzzled me but I cheated a bit and know now what it's for ;)

With the pickaxe built in previous video I could start gather copper and tin ores, but they are of no use without a smelter to turn them into ingots. You can make some by cooking food for too long, but it's no long term solution so you pretty much need the kiln built at the same time.
After getting metal, there's a lot of grind to get enough bronze for a full set of upgraded armor and weapons/tools. That said, it's may be not required to do it all to prepare for next boss. I would say that pickaxe and the regular axe are the most important ones! You can manage with upgraded leather armor for quite some time as long as you deal good damage.
I didn't plan for the Troll fight, it was the first time I encountered one so I wanted to include it! There was another fight as well but I cut that part away. After the first 2-3 trolls you learn how to deal with them and they are not so hard if you can keep your distance and don't engage too many other mobs at the same time...

I picked up the game and wanted to try it for the first time during a livestream. I got a lot of good help from Runicrow to get around some , so thanks a lot buddy! It would not have been this smooth (and it was still rough) without you :)
The video is completely uncut, so all learnings and mistakes are still in there. I think this is only relevant for the first part of the game, so if I make more videos they will for sure be cut to speed up the "real" content.

A bit unstructured and spontanous video, but I tried to cover the game in a not too detailed way, but still give an idea of what's in the game from the beginning, in the middle and what you are facing towards the end.
I can understand that the talk about MAMs and the rushed demonstration of the "second layer" can be a bit hard to grasp, but it wouldn't be much easier to understand if I went deeper unless you had played the game up until that point already. So I just wanted to mention them very briefly and tease you with what can be found. Note that none of those things are required to beat the first 26 levels.

Most info are already on-screen and explained during the first 10 minutes, but here below are some additional pieces of info and minor details for the later parts of the game. I have searched a bit for this type of run/summary but the most common search results is how to get infinite lives and to be honest, that info was well-known already during the 80's. This challenge was to find as many lives possible and make it into a challenge to get them all during the same run.
I have seen a TAS on how to get max amount of coins, and by using their techniques you could get lots of lives (if they could be carried out by hand), that's why I added the rule of not grabbing the same coin twice - not even after dying. The run should be "a run" and possible to do by human hand, although a bit hard as some lives are tricky to get even after several tries. This video shows how it could look.
Read comments further down for each level I wanted to add comments for, but at the time of posting this there is only one place I think it's possible to get one more 1-up, but I have not been successful for this recording even though I have a memory of getting it before. I'm not sure how to handle things if anyone posts an instruction of how to do it. And try to enjoy a casual playthrough with a few edits here and there :)
The big question would be why I'm doing this, and there are no good answers, but it started as a challenge to myself to find more secrets than I had ever found before, and I'm presenting you the result knowing that it might still be something missing as I haven't run this with other people. Will I ever try getting all these lives in one run? I'm not sure, but at least I have a starting point! It could be a fun challenge for anyone to try, and it could even be a competitive category in speedrunning even though I very much doubt enough people would be interested!
1-2: It's almost possible to get an extra life early by shooting a koopa shell, but there is one enemy short...
3-1: Skipping the coin heaven was completely new to me before this investigation and it wasn't an obvious choice as there are lots of coins up there. For quite some time I thought it wasn't worth it because it would be very hard to get all coins for next extra life anyway, but as it turns out it was very much possible!
3-2: Made a lame attempt to jump over the flag pole in the end but decided to not try more than once...
4-4: Same thing on the shortcut by jump-dodging through the wall. I didn't want to try more because it would just be lots of editing, although it would be allowed by the rules!
5-1: After grabbing the first 1-up, there's a session with a jumping koopa. This is the place I feel like I have gotten an extra life before but I could not make it as the jumping koopa in the end would only give 8000 and we are again one enemy short. It would be number 30 if we found a way!
5-4: Shoot when leaving the elevator, if too many sprites are on the screen sometimes the fire bar will not spawn and the 6 coins are easy to get. I was lucky this time!
7-1: The coin block near the cannon is very hard to get coins from. Good timing and a bit of luck in the number of Bullet Bills fired is required to get more than 10 coins.
8-1: The life I got in the end was very hard to get and I was not successful when recording the first time. However, I later came up with a way to do it and to be honest I probably spent 10 minutes trying to get it! So after 7-4 it is a separate run recorded a few days later. You can see that the points don't match, but the number of coins are correct as I replayed the game in the same way.
8-2: Again, luck and timing with the coin block near the cannon is required. As this is at a late stage in the game it would be a run killer not getting enough here.
8-3: You need to reach this level with at least 985 coins as there is only one coin block on this level. Every coin closer to 990 makes it more safe to get the final 10-15 for that sweet number 29.

After getting this question a few times I decided to make a video on the subject. Only crafting items from food stuff is rather easy, but when combined with fluids such as water or milk you need one extra step to automate the process. But there are no perfect solutions, and different mods handle fluids in different ways!
AE2 supports fluids but not using fluids from storage in recipes. This mostly means that we use buckets in recipes and we need to fill those buckets outside of the ME system. Pam's Harvestcraft are not using fluids in the recipes, but we need to make the "fluid items" from buckets with fluid.
It's easier to work with Binnie's drinks, but it comes with a cost of complexity.
There might be other mods making food with liquids in other ways, feel free to come with requests!

The most important improvement was the "flaw fix" from previous video where resources sometimes ended up in separate Inscribers. It was actually fixed the very next day thanks to comments! When I built it I felt like I had done something similar before but I didn't think about it when I recorded the first video.
The extra ME Controller in the Inscriber tower (in the "first" setup) was mentioned in the first video but not demonstrated. I felt that I wanted to do that even though I explained how it should have been built. Always makes things a bit more clear!
And the other minor things covered here are just plain bonuses, thanks everyone for commenting and giving feedback, suggestions and ideas :)

I have covered processor auto-crafting before, but how to increase the speed and do some type of "load" or "workload" sharing? These different builds will hopefully give you some advice or inspiration to make a good setup yourself!
The flaw I keep coming back to, is annoying and I didn't have a good way to solve it at the time of recording. However, I still wanted to cover it and highlight what type of problem you might run in to. One idea I had of changing recipes to only even numbers worked better but not perfect, I did a few test runs and one of them got stuck in the same way. I guess this also applies to the first pattern setup, but I didn't have any problems in my many test runs in the beginning when I ordered 2 or more (in even steps), might be just luck. Of course, using only one Inscriber for the last step will work just fine!
I also did a test of increasing the number of Inscribers in the "main" setup by adding a controller and two more Inscribers. This is actually what you see in the thumbnail! Changing priority on the new ones to 2 and 3 is probably important, and it worked fine and was very fast, especially when adding Accelerator cards in them :)

This build took form after some discussions on Discord where I helped out with the AE2 stuff but I decided to finalize the build with my take on it. Also, I had some Thermal stuff in there as well, showing off how to do the same thing with two different mods.
The key topic in this video is the Alveary handling. Exporting frames to them, and automatically empty the alvearies, restock the bees and then handle the products. Producing frames is pretty simple and perhaps I should have prepared the Level Emitter controlled auto-crafting of frames, but I decided to focus on the Alvery side. If you do need help, just ask me in a comment or on Discord!

Honestly I don't know what part was most important with this video: to test the camera overlay or playing more RL2 with the new update.... Most probably the second because I would have done it anyway ;) But I had messed around with a simple greenscreen capture so I wanted to try that as well!
The new content is really fun, the games just continues to delivery. My skills are not where they should be but I'm getting there! This is the first big update with new content in a new zone only teased in the first alpha release. And now more zones are introduced!

It's important to note that this recipe can change with other modpacks or mod selections! This is the standard recipe as far as I know but I can't guarantee them always stay the same.
Regarding the Rich Slag output calculation I had not done it prior to recording the video, and it turns out I was a bit off. The true number is actually better than I thought! Every Auxiliary Sieve will add to the multiplier according to this list (at the time of recording):
1 × 1.18 + 10%
2 × 1.43 + 20%
3 × 1.82 + 30%
4 × 2.5 + 40%
With the base 20% chance we will get 20 x 2.5 = 50% chance of getting Rich Slag! After my test with 30 stacks (1920 pcs) of Redstone I ended up with 15 x 64 + 7 = 967 or 50.4% in my test!
Important detail: Energy cost will go up a lot! Add this on top of the production cost to get Sand, so this is by no means for free, but the simple ore trippling or even quadrupling it if you happen to have a Blaze farm.

We were introduced to AE2 fluids in an addon to AE2 in the form of Extra Cells. The native system is very similar but has a few differences. In this video I'm going through some basic functionality regarding storage, importing, exporting and a bit of auto-crafting as well!
The automated Obsidian production is slightly different from the version had for Extra Cells 2. The formation plane works a bit differently so the solution has a slightly different approach to get the same functionality.
There might be some smart ways to use the Interface that I didn't think about when I recorded this video so I might make new builds and separate videos for those. Make sure to wishlist and explain what you want to do and maybe I can help!

This build is a follow-up from my previous Thermal video, if you haven't seen it I kind of recommend to do it first. But if you know how the Phytogenic Insolator works and all steps related to that you should be prepared for this video.
The previous video can be found here:
youtube.com/watch?v=V-xB_HQyLDw
At around 20:52 I got confused because the system was not behaving as I expected. I kept that part with the text though, and after video was finished I got an explanation to the behavior: It is only possible to output 16 items into an itemduct, and the operation produces 18 (plus sapling, but that's a separate transfer). The machine can output everything into a chest for example, but doing it like in this build 2 will be left behind!
Once the machine fills up to 48 (which means completely full because 18 will not fit in next operation), the machine will output 16 again because it's not busy, making space for 18 more and continue to loop in that region. The servo is therefore not required unless you're bothered by the extra wood in the output slot, nothing will be lost!
If you place 64 saplings and 64 fluxed phyto-gro in a machine the output slot will slowly fill up with 2 each time and then loop between 48 and 32 until all 64 are used up, and after that send out the remaining wood in chunks of 16 untill it's empty. But it will not output those leftover during operation, but a servo can do that! I have seen that the first operation sometimes fails on outputting the first operation like in this video at 20:50 , where the first 18 was still in there for some reason, but next operation would output 16 and leave 2 (to get 20) behind.

Most of the times you make a tree farm you do it to burn wood/charcoal to get power, and this is exactly what this build is also about. The big part of this build is not the Insolator itself, it's rather how to automate the production of fertilizer and configure everything to a stable system.
Note that other mods or modpacks might change recipes, balance or even how items behave. I tried to have few mods in this build and hopefully everything is valid in most packs.

First, I would like to apologize for the audio quality. It turns out that the timeline recording in Vegas for some reason can't maintain quality at all times. I didn't want to record again and say the same things as I discovered it the next day, after uploading...
Second, let's explain the two runs in this video:
1. My first full run where I actually just meant to practice but ended up beating the boss. I think I had beaten the boss with third character as PB before, and this was still meant to just find a game style that works for me. I explored it all, opened chests and got a very good first run considering the exploration! Of course I cut away a lot of this run.
2. My first successful speedrun. A time close to 10 minutes is maybe double the time of what is possible with some castle layout luck, but I'm still very happy with it! Watching the video shows lots of improvements I can do but as this is alpha I won't push things too hard at this time.

If you have played Rogue Legacy before you can imagine what the game is all about. But it's of course still different, with new graphics, challenges, and experiences! Remember that this is early alpha, many things you see in this video might change, even though I don't think they will completely change the first biome/area.
Regarding the boss fight, well... No comment!
