The swamps of the South Ural Forest are vital to the region's ecosystem. They act as natural carbon sinks, storing large amounts of carbon dioxide and helping to mitigate climate change. These wetlands are also biodiversity hotspots, providing habitat for a diverse range of plant and animal species, including many endangered and threatened species. Swamps play a crucial role in water filtration and regulation, helping to maintain water quality and prevent flooding. However, human activities such as deforestation, drainage, and pollution pose significant threats to these valuable ecosystems.
Filmmaker Alexey Romanov captured stunning footage of the South Ural Forest in June 2024 using a Z_CAM e2 m4 camera, a Lumix 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 lens, an Atomos V+ monitor- recorder, and a ZOOM H5 audio recorder. This powerful combination of equipment allowed Alexey to capture the breathtaking beauty and natural sounds of the region's swamps and forests. This 4K nature soundscape video could be used for many different purposes. For example, it could be part of a documentary about nature or conservation. It could also be used in schools to teach students about ecosystems or biodiversity. Or, it could be used to promote tourism in the South Ural region. Finally, people could use the footage for their own personal projects, like home videos or social media posts.

Bar Al Hickman is a scenic spot and a fascinating location from both ecological and geological perspectives. It is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its rich biodiversity and importance as a haven for migratory birds. In addition to its wildlife, Bar Al Hickman is known for its unique tidal patterns and expansive intertidal zones. During low tide, vast sandbanks and lagoons are exposed, creating a surreal landscape that shifts with the rhythm of the sea. The clear, shallow waters are teeming with marine life, and the surrounding environment is mostly untouched, offering a rare sense of isolation and tranquility.

Watch vibrant wildflowers bloom amidst a lush green landscape, and listen to the gentle sounds of nature. Also in the video, the filter -Tiffen Black Pro-Mist Filter 77 mm with a Grade 3.
This filter adds a soft, diffused look, reduces contrast, and softens wrinkles and blemishes. The Grade 3 density provides a balance of diffusion and contrast reduction without significantly altering the overall appearance. When used in nature filming, this filter gives the footage a dreamy, cinematic quality by reducing the sharpness of typical camera lenses and creating a more atmospheric effect. Roman used such a strong filter for experimental purposes, aiming to create a dream-like experience similar to a person sleeping and watching sweet summer dreams. Tiffen Black Pro-Mist filters are available in other densities, ranging from Grade 1 for a minimal effect to Grade 5 for a more dramatic look.

Roman Khomlyak, the filmmaker behind this captivating 8K soundscape, had a similar experience on his Redwood National Forest trip in June 2023. Redwood National Forest boasts a unique maritime climate characterized by mild temperatures and abundant rainfall. The coastal location ensures cool summers and relatively mild winters. However, one of the most distinctive features of this region is the phenomenon of "fog drip." This occurs when dense coastal fog rolls inland, becomes trapped within the towering redwood canopy, and condenses into water droplets that drip onto the forest floor. This process is crucial for the forest's ecosystem, providing a consistent moisture source, especially during the drier summer months.
Cinematographer Roman Khomlyak captured the ethereal beauty of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park using a Panasonic GH6. Sunlight filters through a verdant canopy, casting an otherworldly glow on the ancient giants. Every rustle, drip, and whisper of the forest has been meticulously recorded to create a sonic sanctuary. Let the tranquility wash over you as you lose yourself in this 8K masterpiece, perfect for relaxation, meditation, or simply escaping the world.

Hawaii's sunsets are renowned for their breathtaking beauty. The islands' isolated position in the Pacific, far from any landmass, creates an uninterrupted horizon where the sun dramatically sinks into the ocean. The high humidity in the air scatters sunlight, intensifying the vibrant colors that paint the sky. Interestingly, the volcanic dust particles carried by the trade winds contribute to the vividness of these sunsets. As the sun descends, locals often observe an ancient tradition by blowing a conch shell, marking the end of the day and honoring Hawaiian deities. Witnessing a Hawaiian sunset is an unforgettable experience, a symphony of colors that leaves an enduring imprint on the soul.
Our filmmaker Roman Khomlyak captured this stunning footage during his recent trip to Oahu, Hawaii. After a day of shooting on the island's picturesque beaches, he was greeted by a breathtaking sight: the sun's final rays casting a golden glow over the ocean and swaying palm trees. Inspired by this perfect moment, Roman quickly grabbed his Panasonic GH6 camera to record the scene. The result is a mesmerizing video that contrasts the sunset's vibrant hues with the Hawaiian night's deepening shades. Enjoy this cinematic masterpiece and stay relaxed!

The Smith River, flowing through Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, is steeped in both natural and cultural history. Designated as one of the last wild rivers in California, the Smith River is notable for its extraordinary clarity and vibrant emerald hue, which are the result of its pristine watershed protected from urban development. This river has long been a vital resource for local Indigenous tribes, including the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation, who have historically relied on its abundance of fish and other resources.
In addition to its ecological significance, the region surrounding the Smith River has a rich tapestry of history. This area was first explored by European settlers in the mid-19th century, during the period of westward expansion, when the beauty of the redwoods began attracting loggers and tourists alike. One of the park’s namesakes, Jedediah Smith, was an early mountain man and explorer who ventured into northern California in the 1820s. His adventures contributed to the mapping and understanding of this rugged landscape.
The video was filmed by our filmmaker Roman Khomlyak, who traveled to California in the summer of 2023 to capture the beauty of the redwoods. He explored Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park and was drawn to the clear waters of the Smith River. He captured the moment using his Panasonic GH6 camera, showcasing the river’s peaceful atmosphere. This amazing soundscape video also features the calming sounds of the flowing water, inviting viewers to relax and enjoy the park’s serenity. Redwood trees have been around for at least 20 million years, but their survival hinged on a group of dedicated people in the 20th century.
Imagine this - almost 90% of the original redwood forests were logged by the 1960s! Thankfully, a non-profit called the Save the Redwoods League, founded in 1918, stepped in. Through donations and matching funds, they managed to buy over 100,000 acres of redwood forest between 1920 and 1960. Their efforts, along with advocacy from groups like the Sierra Club, ultimately led to the creation of Redwood National Park in 1968. Today, these parks protect nearly half of the remaining old-growth coast redwoods.
So, the next time you stand beneath the towering redwoods, remember the remarkable story of their near-disappearance and the successful fight for their preservation.
This enchanting video was captured in the majestic Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park in June 2023 by our filmmaker, Roman Khomlyak. Roaming through the breathtaking landscapes of the Redwood National Forest, Roman discovered that every corner and angle of his journey held an irresistible charm and allure. Let the worries and stresses of everyday life melt away as you immerse yourself in this mesmerizing 8K soundscape video. The most interesting geological fact about Enderts Beach isn't necessarily about the beach itself, but rather what lies beneath it! Enderts Beach sits atop a geologic formation known as the Klamath Accretionary Wedge. This wedge is a massive collection of ocean floor sediments that were scraped off tectonic plates millions of years ago and then accreted, or stuck, onto the continental margin.
Enderts Beach exposes a fascinating cross-section of these ancient ocean floor sediments. The rocky cliffs and tidepools showcase a variety of rock types like greywacke, shale, and chert, all remnants of past ocean environments. Studying these rocks allows geologists to piece together the history of the Pacific Ocean floor and understand the complex tectonic forces that have shaped the California coastline.
It's no surprise that filmmaker Roman Khomlyak was inspired to capture the beauty and power of the ocean when he discovered this secluded spot not far from the filming location in Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. Roman and his second operator, Mykhailo, stumbled upon this beach after a day of filming redwoods in the park, and the mesmerizing atmosphere immediately caught their attention. Roman ventured down to the water, armed with his Panasonic GH6 camera, to capture this incredible soundscape that offers relaxation, improved sleep, and a wellspring of inspiration for all who seek it.

One interesting fact about Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park is that it holds the title for the world's largest (by diameter) coast redwood, not the tallest. This behemoth measures a staggering 20 feet in diameter and reaches 340 feet tall! While other redwood giants might have surpassed it in height, this one holds the record for sheer width of its trunk. Imagine standing next to a tree that wide – it would be truly awe-inspiring!
Drift away in a sea of redwoods with this stunning 8K soundscape. Filmmaker Roman Khomlyak used a Panasonic GH6 to capture a mesmerizing long shot through Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Dappled sunlight dances through the canopy while the meticulously recorded soundscape – every rustle, gurgle, and whisper of the forest – lulls you into a state of deep relaxation. This 8K escape is your portal to serenity, perfect for sleep, meditation, or simply finding peace beneath the timeless giants.

Redwood trees, the undisputed giants of the Californian temperate rainforest, hold a secret weapon beyond their immense size. Unlike their rainforesty cousins, redwoods don't have the luxury of constant downpours. They thrive in a surprisingly dry climate thanks to a unique fog-intercepting adaptation.
Redwood needles, with their waxy coating, act like millions of tiny fog nets. As coastal fog rolls in, these needles snag the moisture droplets. But here's the fascinating twist: redwoods aren't passive collectors. They can actually condense the fog into even larger drops, essentially creating their own private rainfall right on their branches! This condensed water then drips down, nourishing the root system and creating a lush, damp haven beneath the redwood canopy. It's a testament to the redwood's ingenious water management system, allowing them to reach staggering heights – some surpassing 300 feet! This fog-intercepting ability not only benefits the redwoods themselves, but also creates a unique microclimate for the entire forest ecosystem. The constant moisture drip feeds a thriving carpet of ferns and other moisture-loving plants, fostering a diverse community that flourishes under the redwoods' towering embrace.
In the serene setting of Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park, a captivating video was recorded in the summer of 2023 by the talented filmmaker Roman Khomlyak. Roaming through the stunning landscapes of the Redwood National Forest, Roman was entranced by the charming allure found in every nook and cranny of his exploration. Watch as this enchanting footage whisks you away to a world of fantasy, allowing you to escape the daily grind and lose yourself in the mesmerizing 8K soundscape. Feel your worries dissolve, tensions melt away, and soak in a deep sense of peace and rejuvenation like never before.

The undisputed star of this 4K escape is the Anna's Hummingbird, a tiny marvel with a captivating presence. These iridescent emerald jewels are Washington's year-round residents, unlike most hummingbirds that migrate south. Their short, straight bills are perfectly adapted to extract nectar from a wide variety of flowers, making them vital pollinators for the state's vibrant flora. During the summer months, keep an eye out for the males' dazzling aerial displays. Their rose-red throats flash as they dive and swoop, their wings beating at an incredible speed to create the characteristic hum synonymous with summer in Washington.
Roman Khomlyak's backyard transforms into your personal escape with this stunning 4K UHD video. Sunbeams peek through the vibrant greenery as a hidden chorus of birds creates a calming soundtrack. But the real star isn't a movie star – it's a dazzling Anna’s Hummingbird, perched regally on a branch.
This 4K soundscape video captures the pure relaxation of a summer afternoon. Imagine using it as your personal stress reliever. Listen to the gentle hum of the hummingbird's wings blending with the symphony of birdsong – a natural white noise machine. Breathe deep and let the tension melt away during your yoga session, meditation, or even a workday break. Feeling overwhelmed? Just let the video take over your screen, transforming it into a window to a calming oasis. It's a nature fix on demand, offering a quick escape from the hustle and bustle whenever you need it most.

Jutting out from Oahu's southeastern tip like a dramatic guardian, Makapu'u Lookout offers a breathtaking panorama of the Pacific Ocean. This scenic spot, part of the Makapu'u Point State Wayside Park, treats visitors to turquoise waters, lush mountains, and the silhouette of a historic lighthouse. But Makapu'u's name holds a deeper meaning. In Hawaiian, it translates to "bulging eye". Whales can even be spotted during migration seasons, making it a prime location for stunning sights and a dose of Hawaiian serenity. For the adventurous, the Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail climbs the cliffs, offering even more spectacular vistas and a chance to explore the island's volcanic history.
During winter of 2024, Roman Khomlyak embarked on an extraordinary journey to Makapuʻu Lookout armed with the cutting-edge iPhone 15 Pro Max. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for nature cinematography, Roman harnessed the power of the iPhone's ProRes format to capture the stunning turquoise waters in glorious 4K Ultra HD resolution. The Log profile used by Roman retained the raw beauty of the scene, allowing the editor to enhance and refine the footage with precision. Towering giants of the California redwoods, sequoia trees stand as silent sentinels, their immense presence dwarfing everything around them. These ancient redwoods, some reaching over 300 feet high and thousands of years old, cast dappled sunlight through their emerald canopy. The air itself carries a sense of awe, filled with the fragrant whisper of their needles and the hushed echoes of time.
While the towering sequoias are a breathtaking sight to behold in the redwood forests, they are now largely protected due to their conservation status. Historically, though, redwood lumber was precious. Its unique properties – rot-resistant, insect repellent, and fire retardant – made it a prime choice for a vast array of uses. People built everything from houses and barns to fences and furniture with redwood. It was even used for things like shingles, water pipes, and surprisingly, even packing materials like sawdust! Today, with a focus on preserving these ancient giants, redwood use is much more limited, with a focus on sustainable practices.
In June 2022, filmmaker Roman Khomlyak embarked on a filming expedition to Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park in California. Armed with the Panasonic GH6, Roman set out to capture the serene beauty of the ancient redwood forest. His video goal was to create a relaxing and immersive experience, incorporating elements of sound therapy and the soothing sounds of nature. The resulting footage would serve as an 8K screensaver, perfect for creating peaceful backgrounds in spa and massage centers, offices, business waiting rooms, schools, hospitals, and recovery centers. Roman's vision is to transport viewers to a tranquil and calming oasis, providing a moment of respite and relaxation in their busy lives.

Nestled amidst the towering pines of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, Diamond Lake shimmers like a sapphire at a lofty elevation of over 1,600 meters. This pristine body of water stretches for roughly two miles and boasts an average depth of 200 feet, making it the deepest natural lake in the Cascade Range. Legend has it that the lake was named by pioneer settler John Diamond who spotted it from the summit of Diamond Peak in 1852. The true splendor of Diamond Lake lies in its breathtaking beauty and serene atmosphere. As twilight descends, a gentle hush falls over the scene, broken only by the soft lapping of waves against the shore. This is Diamond Lake at its most peaceful, a place where tranquility reigns supreme and the whispers of the wind carry the scent of pine and tranquility.
The smoke plume rising above the water on the opposite bank serves as a stark reminder of the wildfires raging in Oregon and their continuing impact on the region. Despite the smoky skies, Diamond Lake offers a haven for campers seeking a perfect getaway. Diamond Lake caters to every taste and budget with options ranging from tent sites and RV spots to cozy cabin rentals. Each campsite provides access to various amenities like picnic areas, showers, and restrooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. The lake itself boasts a general store, a restaurant, and a gift shop, allowing visitors to enjoy the comforts of home while surrounded by nature's beauty.
Filmmaker Roman Khomlyak discovered this firsthand. An unexpected wildfire forced him to relocate his filming from Crater Lake National Park to Diamond Lake. Despite the detour, Roman was captivated by the lake's tranquility, welcoming atmosphere, and breathtaking scenery. His Sony Alpha A7S II camera, equipped with the versatile Canon EF 11-24mm F/4L USM lens, captured the beauty of Diamond Lake even under the smoky conditions.

Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, where this video was filmed, along with three other neighboring parks, is designated as a World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve. This dual designation is quite rare and highlights the park's exceptional value. World Heritage Sites are recognized for their cultural or natural significance, while Biosphere Reserves are areas that promote a balanced relationship between humans and the environment. This recognition signifies the park's role in preserving a unique ecosystem and its importance for future generations.
The park is named after Jedediah Smith, a famed explorer who played a pivotal role in opening up the American West. Smith was the first documented non-Native American to reach the California coast overland, and his explorations helped pave the way for westward expansion. However, there's a twist! Despite his role in opening up the region, Smith himself was a strong advocate for the preservation of Native American lands and cultures. He even documented the beauty and diversity of the redwood forests, highlighting their importance. So, the park named after him serves as a testament to both exploration and conservation.
Steeped in the timeless hush of a Californian summer, this 8K soundscape video whisks you away to the heart of Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. Imagine yourself on a moss-carpeted trail, sunlight weaving a tapestry of light and shadow through the towering redwoods. Unlike traditional videos, this isn't a visual spectacle, but an auditory adventure. Each rustle of leaves and chirp of a hidden bird, meticulously captured in pristine 8K by our filmmaker Roman Khomlyak and his Panasonic GH 6 camera, becomes a note in the forest's symphony. This symphony, scientifically proven to lower stress and promote relaxation, acts as a natural tranquilizer, washing away the anxieties of daily life. Close your eyes, and let the sounds transport you. Breathe in the crisp, redwood-scented air of June 2023 as sunlight dances on the forest floor. This isn't a video; it's a portal to a world of serenity, a journey into the ancient heart of the redwoods.

Steeped in the emerald embrace of the Big Island's jungle, filmmaker Roman Khomlyak meticulously crafted this 8K soundscape video in January 2023. His Panasonic GH6 camera captures the jungle's essence – from the sky-scraping grandeur of palms to the hidden ballet of life in the undergrowth. Prepare to be swept away by a symphony of sights and sounds, a mesmerizing invitation to lose yourself in the jungle's secrets. Interesting fact: There's only one native palm species there, the Loulu palm (Pritchardia remota). All the other palm varieties you see swaying in the breeze are actually visitors from other parts of the world! Brought over for their beauty and adaptability, these introduced species include coconut palms, foxtail palms, and many more. So next time you're on the Big Island, you can appreciate the global nature of its palm collection.
