Etta James - At Last (Dancing With The Stars, April 7, 2009) Musica Obscura: Rare Tracks and Performances 2026-09-04 | My restoration of Etta James' final televised performance from 2009, for the TV show, Dancing with the Stars. I was able to remove the majority of the overly loud and distracting applause via MVSEP, and also enhanced the footage slightly as the copy available is very compressed.2009 proved to be James' final year of touring - her last concert was around June and she cancelled all future performances due to illness, before succumbing to leukaemia and other health problems in 2012.

Three thousand copies of the single were pressed on peach vinyl and more were pressed on black vinyl.

A promotional video was also produced, but I do not have it.From Discogs: In 1990, the new Batman movie was coming out and Tiny suggested Mike Pinera rewrite his song ‘Ride Captain Ride’ as ‘Ride Batman Ride.’ Pinera suggested they record a brand new song, ‘Batman Rides Again,’ but by the time it was complete, the Batman soundtrack had been locked-in. They then began working to complete ‘Dick Tracy Rides Again’ shortly after Warren Beatty’s Dick Tracy was announced. When Touchstone Pictures said it wouldn't accept ‘unsolicited’ material, the song was released on the unknown Fresh Squeezed label, with ‘Ready For Love,' another Pinera composition, as the B-side.
