Telltale's The Walking Dead means a lot to me and has been in my life for a long time, I'm glad I could use the song and characters I did in something special! Definitely a series I recommend if you're into zombie stories and don't mind getting hit in the feels a lot

I've been planning to do this reanimation for 3 years now and it's finally here haha, stumbled upon the gif back when season 2 aired and vowed to myself I'd reanimate it as Reigen as soon as whenever episode 1 of season 3 came around if it did (it wasn't for sure back then) but hey! My favorite anime is back so I got to fulfill my vow!

Based the final image on the initial Salt Splash illustration and color picked the colors from that!

Sagutoyas 2022-08-21 | Fun, natural fun!
These are my OCs Freja (long blue) and Runa (small pink) they're trickster sisters and ride-or-die kinda there for each other. Freja is very "no thoughts head empty" with a near constant sinister, unreadable smile, found in weird places looking very excited about it, not to be trusted. Runa is a sinister flirt enjoying the thrill of it but is always genuine towards Freja who is also in return. This mini-AMV is to showcase their dynamic! (These aren't their original colors btw played with the palette for fun) Freja has fangs like Runa but only shows them when about to attack whereas Runa keeps em out.
Although not shown here, a piece of lore drop is that they are sort of vampires which will be explored in future videos along with deeper lore, but for now they dance!

SCRIPT: Title sequence which slowly fades to Crooked kit floating in the water after breaking his jaw. Should be focused not on facial expression but limp body language, Crooked is helpless in the water(s of life haha a metaphor). Shellheart announces that he will no longer be deputy of Riverclan. Hailstar chooses Crookedjaw as his successor because of the squirrel with the broken jaw. Both take place in the camp on the same day.

Idk if I've ever done a part with that many different settings in one before, it was fun tho! I took some liberties with Brambleberry's death bcs she dies off screen between the book and the epilogue so seeing as Willow and the kits both died in the fall I made it winter to keep it visually different plus to show that time had passed. The others i tried to keep it as close to the book as possible tho!

SCRIPT: Closeup of Ivypool’s face with her eyes still closed in the same position as when Bristlefrost went to sleep, then suddenly her eyes shoot open and she raises her head as what we can see of Bristlefrost’s fur has faded away. She looks down at her paws where Bristlefrost once was in absolute grief. (artistic license here, it’s not exactly how she discovers Bristlefrost is gone in the books but it’s more compelling this way for the MAP.

SCRIPT: Ashfur sits down. He starts messing with a small white flower by his paws, make sure to express what you can through this! When he starts talking about how his “skin is forgetful sometimes” move up to his face for lip sync. He’s giving a cute, innocent, little smile as he talks. At the end, show Bramblestar trying to leave / looking away.

SCRIPT: Brokentail lunges forward and fastens himself onto Raggedstar’s back. Raggedstar, shocked, panics and tries to buck him off, but Brokentail is relentless.

I've never animated bucking before but it was fun! Also really fun to work with such lovely people be sure to go give Okami and Keby a bunch of love!! ♡
(the struggle shots are inspired by the taming- and cougar fight scene in Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, go watch that movie if you haven't! it's one of my all time favorites)

SCRIPT: Firestar stands up, his neck wound heals, turning into a scar. He pronounces the lines resolutely and looks at Scourge (Firestar lipsync under "Magnum bullets"). "Closing every door" Show here in excerpts how Firestar runs to Scourge, he turns around, Firestar jumps on the cat from the back (Don't show death and injury itself !!
