5 deep Mind 12 synth pieces I made from the 30th of September to the 5th of October2025 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-10-06 | Most of the music here is different combinations of square wave derived sounds partly based on music I made in 2021. The first and third pieces in this compilation are extensions of pieces of music I made in 2021, one on the 5th of August and one on the 7th of August. The last one which I made yesterday has to be one of my favourites because of the timing of it and the melody. Also, it uses a different set of sounds that is a unique combination as yet in music I’ve created.
The Prigmone Synth Dream: My composition from the 23rd and 24th of September2025 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-10-05 | This is a composition I made in September in which I didn’t have any metronome and I played it all by ear in terms of the rhythm which is quite liberating because I could make rhythmic patterns that I couldn’t have done using the metronome, some of which involve changing time signature and aren’t always consistent. It’s called the Prigmone synth dream because the event on Tuesday the 23rd of September2025 was Called Fasara Prigmone and I had a lot of dreams that morning that some of the music became associated with that reminded me in some ways of dreams I had many years ago and other things.
Compilation of pieces of music I created between the 29th of July and the 21st of September2025 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-21 | Most of these are pieces I rote weeks ago at different times and I did the last two today. @GDNormalFace002 The last piece of music in this compilation is my arrangement of a piece of music that featured in your Playschool 20 movements airtivity table. 4:12 These 2 pieces were written for a piano sample and some plate samples on the 31th of August. The first one is an unknown tune from the little tykes spinning drum that I have and the second one is an arrangement of a tune I did on the 11th of May2025 in the napvisos squarewave soundfont but only one section of it. The main melody of this is played by a stripey flan dish that resonates in between A and A-flat with the attack length and a bit.

2 very rare Fisher-price Barny Bend a Tune Banjo glitches: Touch speaker recordings from 2021 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-21 | The second of these is better quality than the first, both because it was recorded on a recorder without automatic recording level and because I did it outside so it contains less mains hum. In the time I have had it, the bend a tune banjo has done these glitches a few times, but it’s extremely rare. It seems that one channel is taken away but it still has three voice polyphony in parts so I’m assuming it has four channels, but I’m not sure. These are unlike any other glitch of the Bend a tune banjo in that it plays the tunes normally except parts are missing and even after saying a phrase at the end it’s still glitching like this until it’s reset. What I do notice is that the tunes sound normal only at the very start in the second glitch.

I really like this tune and I felt like arranging it for the Bend a Tune banjo so I did. 
Jam On Toast Blues: a composition I made on the DeepMind 12 synth today Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-17 | As always with these kinds of compositions, I recommend good quality speakers for the full effect, especially for this one because it has a lot of bass to it especially in the midsection which has lots of notes that are quite long and I think that’s my favourite section of this piece because of a certain Cord progression that it has. I was thinking about making a piece of music with a sawtooth based sound and the resonant filter with a certain envelope and I thought the title would be something to do with jam on toast because I associated it with jam and today I got round to doing it And brought so much more into it as well. It’s called jam on toast blues because it features parts based on the blue scale but it has a lot more to it as well and the melody and harmony of it came really easily.
Circuit bent Chico Dough Ray Mi bee: many glitches included! Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-15 | This is the longest toy video I have yet done because this musical bee has a lot of glitches. This time I had it hooked up to the transformer so I could change the voltage because the voltage affects the way it glitches when which happen when the toy is sped up really fast. I also got a lot of samples Isolated. I’m not sure if it just loops them with continuity but it seems this toy can hold notes like the bend a tune toys can. I’m hopefully going to make some tunes with the samples from this although there was a double octave kind of trumpet like sample that I didn’t get in full length but I got it staccato. Sometimes I press the drum on the bee’s head when it is glitching because this tends to make it loop certain samples it has like the piano samples the drum samples and the switching on noise so that is why I have sometimes pressed the drum during when it is glitching because there is no knowing whether or not it will make it do something interesting and sometimes if it’s holding a note, it makes the note release so that it’s not interfering with the rest of the sounds. Also, this definitely isn’t all the glitches this thing can do. It can also slow the tunes down to about a quarter of the speed and there are other glitches it can do in which it loops the tunes, well the first two anyway.
The Happy And Fresh Friday: my most recent Deep Mind 12 synth composition Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-12 | For this piece of music, I really recommend using good quality speakers rather than phone speakers for the full experience as based on how I’ve panned it it sounds a lot less full on the phone speakers for some reason. I composed this all today and the title was inspired because I was thinking about part of what went on to form the melody of it when I was walking and the air was really fresh and smelled really good this morning. Some melodies for this one came really easily. Part of the really high filtered square wave melody reminds me of something similar in Gershon Kingsley‘s peace John Philip Moog.
A Deep Mind 12 synth composition based on a melody from the Niriquab shower event Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-12 | I created this piece of music this week and it is based on a melody I came up with when I was in the shower on the evening of Tuesday the 8th of April 2025 during an event called Shoozaf Niriquab. When I was in the shower that night, I was getting lots and lots of melodies flowing and this piece of music was based on one that stuck with me and it has a lot of other content to it as well. The melody that stuck with me comes in at about 0:36 when the sawtooths come in And play that melody. I had a lot of other tune ideas during that shower event and I recorded it and sung them as best I could so I might revisit that recording and try and create some more tunes from it.
Some relatively disappointing glitches of the Mattel Barny Rockin Tunes Boombox Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-10 | Relative to the other Mattel toys, this is pretty disappointing. I think it must use a different chip or something. I haven’t got much sample isolation and I’ve got no move through glitch. What it does do is play square and sore tooth tones and other sounds. It also does something that sounds like a jump scare glitch. There is a part that’s interesting in which it plays she’ll be coming round the mountain and the sounds that usually play the main melody are playing the accompaniment instead but the sample that sounds like the bend a tune trumpet has a chorus effect and I thought at first it was because it was blending it with the other Sample that sounds a bit like that that is heard in oh my darling Clementine that’s used for the main melody but given it’s only two channels I’m not sure if this is true. I’m glad to say that this toy is safely back together and I’m planning to keep it in storage until November as I have contacted Someone who is willing to put a speed control on it for me after he does another project that is going to take about two months. Then hopefully I can get some better glitches and sample isolation out of it by leaving it on slow stop but I’m not sure if I will. Most of these glitches were caused by touching a part of the circuit board with tinfoil right beside the part that causes it to go slow as it didn’t do nearly as many glitches as the Tigger and Fimbles radios do When I wiggled it about at the slow end. I’m not going to risk glitching it like this again in case I break it. I really hope I get the sound set from this thing because I’d really like to create new arrangements with it. I know it shares some samples with the Blues Clues radio and the banjo sample is higher quality than that like on the Tigger radio but the flute sample sounds lower quality and therefore different than on the Tigger radio. It shares The xylophone and base samples with the Blues Clues radio but the other sounds aside from the sound shared with the Bend a tune Trumpet aren’t shared with any toys that the samples have been isolated on as far as I know. The major and minor chord samples can be extracted from the tunes themselves because they play solo anyway but the guitar sample that accompanies oh my darling Clementine doesn’t play solo and it also has the sample for the main melody in that tune and the other piano sample that I want to get. It’s also got that little hiss sample but that is played solo and as is the sample that sounds like the phonics A to Z that plays the countermelody in I’ve been working on the railroad.
Small toy piano with 23 keys that uses square waves Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-08 | This is one of the toys I had as a child. It has a rubber pad with all the keys and it has six rubber buttons. One button changes it so that each key corresponds to a tune, one turns it off and on, 2 are a set of buttons that are record and play to record a melody in but that’s only monophonic and another plays the tunes in sequence which I’ve done in this video. The other button I can’t figure out what does but it still beeps. This has two channels but it sounds like it has three sometimes because I’m not sure if it’s aliasing or subharmonics or what, but some of the notes in the accompaniment play a tone about 16 semitones lower as well. This toy is long and thin and it takes A G 13 batteries. @thetoycollectorofseville6428 Is your 200 toy ink mini piano anything like this even though it has a different set of tunes?
1999 Mattel Barny Rockin Tunes Boombox: All tunes Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-07 | I successfully got this toy, but unfortunately I can’t get it to glitch because it doesn’t go slow enough when the voltage lowers so I may have to open it up and try and glitch it that way because the sample set extracted would be terrific as it has some samples that aren’t yet isolated from other toys such as the Blues Clues and Tigger radios. @TutorialSuno thanks for letting me know about this thing.
Addo Play tambourine with 2 distinctly different music modes Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-02 | This is a pretty interesting toy. It’s a little tambourine with three buttons. The middle one does animal sounds and as for the other two, one does shorter tunes with percussion in them as well and the other does slow melodies like a soother and it plays continuously. It’s also quite detuned and only seems to use two melody channels. The main melody sound is one of these kinds of sample sets in which it is divided up into two different sounds and the division lies at a certain point so when it goes higher than it, it plays one sound and when it goes lower than it, it plays the other sound. It’s so different to the other music mode that I think it might have two melody ICs in it. @whc2001 @TheBeeshSpweesh do either of you have any theories about this or know anything about the Melody ICs? 
hopello steering wheel toy with music and sound effects Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-02 | This seems to share a vibraphone and piano sample with the little tykes microphone and the piano on both of them sounds a bit like the piano on the happy kid toy groove piano. It makes me wonder where these samples are sourced from. 
Little Tykes microphone with 18 tunes and a low quality recorder Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-02 | I’m really happy that I found another one of these microphones. I had one previously but I opened it up on the 12th of September 2023 to try to get direct audio from it and some of the wires broke off right after I was getting direct audio from it successfully before I could record the tunes. It has 18 tunes, some drum rythms and some recordings of laughing. It also has an extremely bad quality recorder and sometimes it’s really glitchy and records feedback but I couldn’t get it to do that when I had the coil attached to it. It was doing it earlier on in the day and the beep was changing pitch. Some of the tunes on this thing and the sample said it has really remind me of a doorbell in some ways.
I rote a piece with the Deep Mind 12 synth this evening Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-09-01 | I had the melody for the first part of this piece in my head and it really went on to become something. The music gave itself very easily and I’m really happy with the sounds I used in this peace. I’m really bad at naming my pieces of music so I’m sorry this doesn’t have a name. I wouldn’t be sure what to call it if it didn’t have a specific name in the origin thought because my associations with it are so transient. 
Fisher-Price Take Along Toucan from Rain Forest Music and Lights Deluxe Gym Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-31 | This toy has some quite interesting music. I got ChatGPT to do an image search and apparently it was made in 2016 or 2015 as part of a Mattel rainforest lights and sounds deluxe gym. It has two different modes. In one mode, it plays tunes and animal sounds and in the other Mode it plays much longer tunes and the music is continuous kind of like a keyboard demo or I think it’s called a soother in musical toys, correct me if I’m wrong. In this video, the second mode starts right after the elephant sound which is part of the first mode.Sorry if any of you had any comments earlier you couldn’t add, YouTube automatically set this to made for kids annoyingly. I forgot to also say that I cut it off at the end of the last tune because it starts to play Polly Wally doodle again and it plays the tunes in a different order. I plan to leave it on sometime and find out if it would ever stop
A compilation of some of my plates and bowls resonating Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-29 | These are just some of my collection of plates and bowls being hit with my hand, a fidget spinner and a gong beater to produce different resonances. I plan to sample some of these recordings and use them in my music.
Shelcore musical ball: All tunes in direct audio Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-28 | Finally I’ve done this with the help of my dad. The speaker wires came off so we had to attach crocodile clips to them and then attach them to a mini jack cable and we also had to clip the battery wire back in place. Hopefully I’ll be able to glitch this on the transformer later in the year. I love the 2 ragtime tunes in between A and A-flat major on this, one is the Ragtime dance and I don’t know what the other one is yet.Sorry for the glitch in old Mcdonald. I only noticed it after the upload. This toy is a faff to connect up so I’ll do the tunes again when I get it on the transformer.

2009 Happy Kid Toy Groove Piano Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-25 | This is another one that sounds wonky even with new batteries. The first three tunes might have a small amount of coil noise in them because in order to keep them going you have to press a key on the piano or the tune stops. There are several places they can stop so it must be categorised into different sections. The toy has a spinnable ball, a more central button for drum sounds and another lever type thing that all do different things depending on what it is set to and it has a Flipable thing with two modes, one for each side. When you flip that, it makes it play different Tunes. It also has sound effects when it is in the mode in which the piano keys do the music and one sound effect corresponds to each key so I have edited the sound effects into a row near the end of the video. I might try and direct record this at some point And I think it would be cool to circuit bend.
Musical toy guitar with 8 tunes and some sound effects Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-23 | I’ve tried, but can’t seem to find out what the name of this toy is. It has some really good tune arrangements of classical pieces, some of which are from the Nutcracker. It also has a remix it can do which has a chromatic sequence leading up to it. Similar with the B and M piano, there were base notes that I heard in the coil recording but not through the actual speaker. The guitar has eight buttons on the neck, each of which corresponds to a tune. It also has a mode in which you can play sections of the tune with the buttons.
Musical bongo drums Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-23 | This is a musical toy that’s a set of bongo drums with buttons on the side. It plays 4 tunes and has a few sound effects. I know it sounds wonky but I think that’s just the way it sounds because that’s a fresh set of batteries. The tunes loop round and the same button is used to play and stop them. La Bamba didn’t play the whole way through the first time so I thought if I interacted with other parts of the toy when it was playing, it might finish and I was right so it plays again in the video.

Melody from B and M piano toy that I neglected to record  Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-21 | This melody happens when the dog button is pushed twice
B and M musical piano toy Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-21 | This is a very similar design to another piano toy I have made by a brand called Sensory play. It has a handle on the top, a keyboard on the bottom and some buttons in between, including 5 buttons and some drum buttons. One button makes it play tunes, one makes it play the tunes in a different way so that it plays sections of accompaniment and one plays a melody in E-flat major and causes the keys to play different short piano tunes. The long tunes are split up into sections with small gaps in between them and when it’s in the mode in which the keys have to be pressed in order to progress it through the melody, it goes into different sections when it reaches them and until then, it loops round the sections of accompaniment, well what ever section it is on at the time. I was lazy and didn’t record all of the accompanying sections solo, but I can do this if anyone wants me to. I really like the music on this thing and I like the fact that it can do portamento with the sounds which I haven’t heard much on musical toys thus far. I just remembered there is another melody I neglected from this so I’ll upload it in a separate video. The very last melody is a goodbye sound that plays after about two or three minutes when the toy hasn’t been in action but I cut the silence out. Similar goes for the last sounds on the Laptronics car keys and Little Tykes drum.

Little Tykes musical drum that spins Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-19 | This drum has a part that can spin that it can sit on when the drum is facing up and it has two buttons, one of which plays a drum sample and one of which plays the same drum sample then plays the tunes. It also has other sound effects and spinning makes the tune speed change. @TutorialSuno @TheElectronicToyArchive and @thetoycollectorofseville6428Also sorry for some coil noise in the fast speed, you have to spin it over and over again to get that 
Highlights of sound alterations with the Teenaged Engineering sampler from the 4th of April 2025 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-16 | These were sounds I was playing with on the train on the afternoon of Friday, the 4th of April. One of them is a large bowl I’m was recording with water in it that is between G and F-sharp minor originally, a really big one that me and my friend had been using when we were cooking crumble. One of them was The sound of frappe being blown down a straw and there were some beeps, including some square waves that I did and the beep on the train that happens after people bored.
Laptronics my first car keys Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-16 | This toy is a set of car keys with three buttons, two for sound effects and one for tunes. It plays the entertainer and sing a song of sixpence in A major. It sounds really distorted like some toys do when the batteries are low, but those were new batteries so I’m not sure if something else is causing that or if it is just the way it normally sounds.
My compositions the 9th of October2021 to the 5th of February2022 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-16 | This is a compilation of compositions I did between these two dates using the DeepMind 12 and I might be doing similar compilations from other times ahead of that as well. I’m thinking of maybe reviving some of these compositions, as in replicating them and extending them. I also hope to record the Shelcore ball in direct audio soon.
Early generation Microminiatures Harmony32 at speed2, with then without drum effect+some syncopation Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-08-07 | I got this Harmony32 off EBay recently hoping it would have some rare chimes that neither of my h64 boxes have. It has 6. The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Match Of The Day, The A Team, Wheels Cha Cha, the star-wars theme tune and Singing in the Rain. It’s an early generation one, so the accompaniment is really staccato compared to the main melody. It swaps this out to the other channels sometimes when it is syncopating. In this video, all the tunes are played at speed2, 1st with the drum effect then without. I would have done more syncopation with the drum effect but it’s quite hard to get because the toggle switch for the drum effect is temperamental. As was the bank change switch so my dad put banana plugs on the ends of the wires so it’s easier to change the bank. I’ll eventually do all the speeds but not any more for at least a week because I’m going on holiday. I hope all you chime enthusiasts out there enjoy this and I’m sure you will. The drum effect with the staccato notes on this thing sounds terific!

Compilation of resonant objects I recorded near to and in the swing park in Hereford Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-07-31 | 1. The pole that is part of the swing frame. 2. Unknown, possibly a lamp post or part of the park gate, I can’t quite remember. 3. Part of a metal fence. 4. This is the most interesting one to me. It was a lamp post that I found on the way back from the park and it sounds a bit like a zoob tube. Maybe this is because it has cables running down it that shake when it is bashed. I also used my six pointed fidget spinner to ding some of these. I’m going to put some recordings of plates up on the channel as well so that I live up to my name, but I’m not sure if there is as much of a fan club for that kind of thing out there as There is for musical toys and ice cream van chimes. I hope to find out.
Avanti west coast aannouncement chime: Coil recording Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-07-31 | I had to stand on the seat in order to do this because I forgot to bring a roll of tape to tape the pick up coil to the train speaker with and unfortunately I moved the pick up as it was happening so there is a little clunk. 
Rare tunes Microminiatures Harmony64 at speed3 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-07-31 | More people seemed to want this, so I did it before doing speed one with the drum effect I re uploaded this because part of it was clipping slightly, so I had to bring the level down a bit 
My latest squarewave composition in Rea-synth: Started yesterday during Vorpmis Favuna Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-07-26 | I started this piece yesterday and got a lot of creative flow with it like I’ve not had since Vorthanas which was the name for the week that I composed the Cooking Banana Rag during. Coming soon are all the tunes from the rare H64 at speed three.
M and M Ices Harmony32 chimes in Hereford: Includes Match Of The Day syncopating at speed3 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-07-07 | I go to the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford and this ice cream van was hired there on the 3rd of July2025. The driver was really nice and let me go in and use his Harmony32. His main tune was Rigoletto so I changed it back to that before I got out of the van but I went through all the other chimes. I didn’t play most of them for long because I was trying to find out what rare chimes it had. My Dm770 recorder was under the van near the speaker so it could get a clear recording which is this and I was on the other side of the van in the front standing up and using the Harmony32 which was quite near the roof. All the chimes were on the standard H64 list except Here Comes The Bride, Match of the Day and the Good the Bad and the Ugly. The third listed I didn’t get to play for long because I misheard it and only noticed it was there when I was listening to the recording later in the day. I put match of the day up to speed3 and syncopated it with the bank change button. When it was syncopating spinning wheel, I noticed it sounded like there was an extra C in there when that tune doesn’t contain any Cs in there but actually I think it was just a harmonic or some kind of other resonance I was picking up on. If I ever get a go on this box Again, I’d like to record Match Of the Day at all the speeds and try and get different syncopation rates on it and also try and syncopate the good the bad and the ugly. Also there was quite a loud fan noise in the recording and sorry about the compression, it’s an automatic thing the recorder does.
A Deep Mind 12 synth piece I made on Saturday the 21st of June2025 Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-06-30 | This is a lot slower and less busy than the cooking banana rag and I started it about two days before. It was made in a very similar way.

Cooking Banana Rag. My latest composition using the Deep Mind 12 Synth Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-06-25 | I did this piece of music on Monday and Tuesday of this week and I used a variety of different sounds, panning them and putting them slightly out of sink in parts. I also used some reverb. Maybe this was partly inspired by some music from some kids audiobooks and my brain wrote it really naturally. I thought I should give it a name and after it I associated the sounds and the part in between D and D-flat minor With cooking Banana and a large metal bowl you can sit and spinn in. That’s an association I’ve had for many years with that kind of key and those kind of sounds so I’m calling it cooking Banana rag.
Barny Bend A Tune Trumpet samples play Popeye The Sailor Man in between G and F-sharp major Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-06-24 | This was partly inspired by the Kiddy Call organ arrangement and it takes some inspiration from the Harmony 64 the second time it plays the A section.

My composition that I rote in the Napvisos square wave sound font on the evening of Sunday the 14th of February 2021. 3. My composition from Sunday the 4th of July2021, originally written for the Yamaha psr500 keyboard. 4. The Ragtime Dance. (Partly inspired by the arrangement from the Shelcore ball. 5. I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles. 6. My composition from Tuesday the 29th of June2021. 7. Londonderry Air. (Loosely based on how the Bend A Tune Trumpet plays If Your Ears Hang Low and with some extra chromatic notes than usual. This compilation was going to be made longer but I never got round to making more pieces. I’m soon going to be uploading a recording of myself detailing what’s to come for this channel and talking about a few things.
6 compositions played on the Deep Mind 12 using a set of squarewaves I call the Napvisos soundfont Geeden the plate dinging dreamer 2025-05-20 | I favour this combination of square wave based sounds because I used to use it to create tunes in the first half of 2021. It uses two pure square wave sounds with no alteration to the envelope and another two changed by a slider to the left of the pitch shift slider on the synthesiser that brings out different overtones in the square wave. One of the latter sounds is playing mostly the same melodies and chords as the 1st square wave two steps up on the pitch shift slider with some alteration to timing and sometimes octave and note lengths, creating a chorus effect and the other is playing base. Meanwhile, I have the other pure square wave playing counter melodies. This is a pretty basic synth combination compared with what I’ve done in years since but I’ve come back to it because I like those tunes I wrote in the early days of using the synthesiser. These are all original compositions, and I wonder if anyone will be particularly fond of the fifth one. It has quite a ragtime way about it. The first tune was taken from a melody that I made up when I was 10.

It seems to do similar sequences but there is variation in them and there is one sequence for the glitch with the PCM samples and one sequence for the glitch without. There are some more sequences I might upload another time without the PCM samples.
