The Possessed Varg is a tricky boss that can be very overwhelming and time consuming due to how many hounds it summons during the fight and the damage it can deal. Though with the technique covered in this video, you can get the Varg killed in under a minute while being "relativily" safe (to each their own deffinition of "safe" lol). Neither the less, this technique requires really low skills for the performance that it gives, making this a really efficient method!I couldn't help myself when recording the Crystal Deerclop video and went ahead and try to figure out a way to do this boss (lost a few hours of sleep over it haha). I'm aware that the Varg also has a stun mechanic similar to the one of Deerclop and Bearger that can be triggered if you hit it enough time while it performs it's "dragon breath" attack. Depths of Duplicity full BREAKDOWN | Dont Starve Together | Guide Warlockadamm 2024-09-25 | In this video, we'll breakdown the entirety of the content from the Depths Of Duplicity update! From the Greater Depth Worm, to the new Ink Blight Rictus, to the Mimicreeps, we'll cover everything that was added to the base game in this update. The update aimed at being the shadow/cave equivalente to Host of Horror! It adds new end game cave content related to shadows and a lot of new challenges in end game. New loot to hunt for and new crafts that highly change the way we'll play like Bridges and the Shadow maul.I've been testing everything since day one of the beta and I've been having so much fun. The new Greater Depth Worm is a really fun fight and it's been a cool challenge to come against. The new Ickers have been keeping me on my toe whenever I go through the caves now! They are a really unique way to impose a challenge on the player. Rictus has been a lot of fun to fight and he's pretty refreshing to have. The regular Ink blights are fine, but having more variety in what to expect when going deeper in the cave is cool. The lurking nightmare have been the bane of my existence. They are really overwhelming and I do not like them hahaha. Maybe I need more practice with them but I feel like they are a little strong. The new mimicreeps are an interesting addition and they have a lot of potential in game breaking possibility imo. The Ornery chests are a really funny mob to me and I love them. They are goofy and are not to crazy to fight which was refreshing from this update. The new Dread crafts are really cool new items and I can't wait to get my hands on all of them in my own worlds. Bridges are a blessing for cave exploration and I'm so glad Klei added an option like that for the caves. The upgraded sawhorse was highly unexpected and I appreciate it for what it brings to the decoration field. Stone furniture for the win! I haven't gotten to test out much of the Rabbit king, but from what I got to try, his trade are really cool. EASY way to fight the GREATER Depth Worm | Depth of Duplicity Beta | Dont Starve Together Warlockadamm 2024-08-25 | In this video, we'll cover a quick, easy and safe way to deal with the new Greater Depth Worm mini-boss. This 5000hp giant beast is a force to recon with that you can encounter during a depth worm attack in a late game world. It can be quite overwhelming to fight and as of the making of this video, doesn't leave much room for error. That's why using the Brightshade Staff with the Enlightment Crown is such a good option for it. It allows you to stay from a far distance from it and dodge most of it's attack!I've been trying to find a few ways to deal with this horrific worm and came up with a few different ones (I might showcase them in the full guide for this update). After further testing it came to me that this technique was the best cost efficient wise, really convenient (you can fight the worm litteraly anywhere in the cave using this without depending on anything else) and that it was extremely fast due to how much damage you actually output on it. Yes it does require some late game items, but as of now the worm is not suppose to be encountered early game. Those little pesky thieves are source to some great loot. From endless supplies of Meat, to easily available Bull kelp stalk and an on land source of message in a bottle, there's loot for all types of players. They can come off as rude and annoying mobs at first, but understanding their behavior is key to manipulate them the way you want.I originally thought about that farm when I discovered they were able to drop messages in a bottle. After making the farm though, I realize it's bigger potential was in the rest of the loot that the Marotters have to give. In my current world, I moved 10 of their den through a total of 6 days in winter using 7 Bootleg getaways. Something that I didn't mention in the video is that, if you have two dens close by together that you want to relocate, you can bump one of them into the Bootleg wormhole before you jump yourselves into with your den. We'll put it to the test against Bee queen and see how quickly it can shred her! Wormwood is a great character to farm/create this hat. He'll be able to create those hat for a Webber or a Wurt to tremendously increase the potential of their armies. For a comparison, the old "Bunnyman vs Bee queen" strat required around 20+ bunnies with armors to be sure to take her down. With this hat, we can do it with only 5 in the fraction of the time!I've been trying to put this hat to use for a bit, came up with some afk spider farms, but I figured out that this hat truly shined in group play. Creating your "mushroom cult" is so cool and the audio of your games litteraly becomes pop corn hahaha. [PATCHED] EASY Scrappy Werepig fight | Scrappy Scavengers Beta | Dont Starve Together Warlockadamm 2024-03-13 | In this video, i showcase how to easily fight the new boss from the "Scrappy Scavenger" the Scrappy Werepig. This fight is a fun one and isn't to overwhelming difficulty wise. But ways to make it simpler, quicker and easy are always welcome as they say. When I saw that the Werepig could only attack you IF he had a weapon in his hand, I wondered if this could be exploited. As such I decided to use Lureplants, a game object use to cheese alot of other bosses like Ancient Fuelweaver, Toadstool, Klaus, etc. and see if it could be put to the test. To my grand suprise it worked like a charm. The Werepig becomes completely harmless using this trick.As of the release of this video, his loot doesn't seem to be quite finish and i can't wait to see what Klei has in store for us. The helmet that he drops seems like a pretty good item when exploring the ocean. Which might make finding some of the stuff out there less of a pain. As for the fight itself I also like that the Scrappy Werepig gain a new attack through game progression. They have a special ability that can render all types of hounds powerless! This makes them a great option when tackling the Possessed Varg, the normal Varg or even hound waves! Depending on the Lunar new year event that is enabled, they are fairly cheap to acquire too. My favorite events to gather lucky gold nuggets is year of the gobbler and year of the catcoon!I was messing around in a test world when it hit me that the Firecrackers were able to stagger certain mobs. After some research and testing, I saw that they could stagger all varieties of hounds. Immediately thought that it could come of help during the Possessed Varg fight. Though I was only using one stack of Firecrackers, which wasn't effective enough. With the help of AleksyPL, we found out that you could place multiple stacks of crackers on the floor to "stack" the stagger effect of each one. On it's own, the staff doesn't deal all that much damage, but combined with other items and in the right moment, the staff becomes the best item you could ever ask for. Ancient Fuelweaver, Armored Bearger, Pirate Monkey raids... all of those will whimp at your sight with the staff!For how cheap it is to repair it, I highly recommend you'd keep one in your inventory. Dont Starve Together | 7 Ways To Exploit Deadly Brightshade | Showcase Warlockadamm 2023-12-26 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~In this video, we'll be covering 7 ways to utilise Deadly Brightshades and turn them into your greatest tool. From spiders to hounds, you can even farm Bee Queen herself with these parasitic plants! Deadly Brightshade can be a base builder worst nightmare, but if you build a few farm across your world, you may be able to to force spawn them where you want and build in peace. After my last videos covering a few other Brightshade farms, I started experimenting in my world with other possibilities to exploit them. I had a few failed attempts that didn't make it into this video. Some of those failed attempts include: -Dragonfly (to much fire damage everywhere, the Brightshade were dying really quickly)-Antlion (she was able to insta-kill the brightshade with her spike attack, really weird behavior)-Mosquitos (neither the mosquitos nor the brightshade would aggro onto one another. My goal was to plant a singular plant near every pond in my swamp to focus the spawn of the Brightshade where I wanted. I don't have many other planted plants accross my world and thus when they spawn they randomly choose plant to corrupt and I need to hunt them down afterward. Mosquito sacks are not that useful, but at least I would of farm something while having my Brightshade in some conveninent spots for me to look after.)-Celestial Champion (his second phase deal way to much damage for the plants to survive)The only thing that makes me reluctant of advocating the Deadly Brightshade is how dangerous they can be. Though I do believe that once you understand how their attack pattern works you can deal with them pretty easily. The only way I found you could safely trigger those farm was from a boat. AleksyPL Warlockadamm 2023-12-06 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~In this video, we'll be covering how to make a farm for "villager" mob-types, those mobs being pigs, merms and bunnymen. My friend AleksyPL discovered a weird feature unique to the Deadly Brightshade. It can be frozen permanently if it spawns ontop of an Ice Crystaleyezer! When he showed me that, I automatically thought of alot of usage this behavior could have and I came up with this farm design. We are aware that this behavior might be a bug, but honestly it allows for some really cool interaction imo. It's also a farm that you can only really set up super late game so we don't think this behavior is too broken either.There's alot of other ways to farm these mobs already, like a fire farm, winona's catapult, etc. but we thought this was original enough to stand out from the other farms. Another point in favor of this farm, is that you'll eventually have to many Spark Arc to know what to do with them if you play in a long term world. Making a Tallbird farm isn’t easy, but with enough patience, you can set up one of your own and you won’t regret it. This guide is meant for really late game world, but i still believe it can be of good use. This farm could also be made using Winona’s catapults. You would make the pen out of statues, to fence off the Tallbirds, and set up a few catapults out of the pen. The only problem that I have with this, is that it’s character specific, meaning you NEED a Winona in your world. It’s still a very valid way to do it though and would give you access to a great food source a bit early on if you had a Winona or you didn’t mind the use of the celestial portal to pick and swap characters.I originally made this farm in my world and I've been using it every chance I get! Tall Scotch Eggs are such a great food item and being able to farm them conveniently has changed my playstyle so much. Pair with the new Polar Bearger Bin, I always have a great food source at hand whether it be for hunger or healing. Thus it is important to know how to fight them conveniently and easily.The brightshade staff was a suprising and very efficient discovery of mine to face them. It makes the fight really easy while also keeping you at a relatively safe distant from the ink blights.-Things that were not show or showcased in the video-1. I didn't mention how to trigger the nightmare rifts. To do so you'll need to defeat Ancient Fuelweaver. Afterward, a hand of beckoning will spawn in the arena and request for 5 dreadstones. Once fulfilled, your caves will spawn a nightmare rift after a few day somewhere in your world. It appears as a red portal icon on your map.2. I didn't showcase the enlightment crown technique, but it is just as efficient. With this trick, you'll be able to earn twice as many tickets as you would usually do per minigame that you play. I’ve been enjoying the beta of “Eye of the Storm'' a lot and I’ve been toying around with a lot of things. The Celestial Champion became one of my favorite bosses to fight. It’s mechanics are super fun and the loot is just grandiose imo. Klei really out did themselves with this boss. Though like anything, cheese and glitches can be found. In this video, I showcase how to easily deal with the last phase of the boss. It’s the trickiest one imo and this glitch can help tremendously with the fight. On to the cheese itself. Champion will perform a certain attack if you are too close to him. Staying inside of the range will make Champion spam this attack. However the range of his attack does not reach the range of where he gets triggered to constantly perform this attack. Exploiting this mechanic, we can try to find the perfect zone to place yourself and to shoot him using blow darts. It just so happens that you can use a Tail o’ Three Cats to position yourself in that zone. The Tail o’ Three Cats is one of the few melee weapons to have a range of 2, which allows you to hit targets from a bit further. So i started testing out a bunch of different methods to see what could work for a solo player to complete the event. After alot of trials and errors, i ended uo with these 3 methods. "The Lureplant method", "The ice-flingo method" and "The wall/bone method". Each of them are all unique in their own ways, are rather quick to set up and are quite efficient. Dont Starve Together | Day 4 Ancient Guardian Speedrun using Wes | Bee technique | 29:02 Warlockadamm 2020-08-29 | Hello and welcome to this video! I wanted to showcase the uses of killer bees during the Ancient Guardian fight, but i thought it would make for a lame video to just showcase me dropping some bees at Guardian and then proceed to kill him. Using killer bees can help you take less hit during the fight, since guardian will most likely try to hit them instead of you. Armor and healing are still recommended. I then decided to turn the showcase into a speed run to show how easy it was to replicate this technique. Problem was, I got obsessed with getting a time that was under day 5. I did many attempts and i would always get around day 5. But after around 10+ tries, I managed to do the run on day 4! I didn't get lucky with finding marble for armor, and i barely had any healing when heading into the ruins... The batbat that i found at the end really saved the run. Ancient guardian hits like a truck (100 damage per hit) so having the bees take some hit from you really is the way to go. Since Klei added the new ocean fishes and the "Fish Scale-O-Matic" in the game, I've been wanting to build an aquarium where i could just have a collection of all the fishes on my main world on Ps4!Since i'm really into basebuilding, i went a step ahead and decided to decorate it alot. Base-building is one of my favorite thing to do, so this project was alot of fun! It took me around an entire in-game year (81days with my settings) to be satisfied with my creation and call it complete. The thing that took the longest time to do was building the flower trail that you can see here and about '^^... Being dependant of random flowers spawn can really push the necessary time you needed for a build :')The fishes are all so colorful and unique, they are really lovely! They seem to me to be a really cool alternative that allows you to have a bit less things to worry about. You won't have to concentrate on dealing damage to Crab King nor try to stop his healing abbility. The only factors you'll need to keep in mind are: Healing your boat, canceling Crab King attacks and killing the imposing claws. This set up allows you to farm crab king without to much stress either. This technic was made possible with Kynoox mod, "The Architect Pack" (link down below). Using this mod, the realisation of this build is not to ressource intensive and provide the same kind of result then the tentacle trap of Wickerbottom! I judge this technic to be mid to late game. The "hardest" part would be to collect the hound teeth. The result are quite efficient and require a minimum of interaction with the player. Different design could definitely give better result too!
