Welcome to my video about the stamina Dragonknight for the Flames of Ambition patch. Quite a few things did change from markarth to now, and so did some stuff for the stam DK. Please note that this video will not cover everything in detail, since I covered some stuff already in the previous video, so i recommend to check that out aswell.
The performance on this PTS was not that good most of the times, so with better game-, but also better player performance, every here shown setup still has more potential of higher dps.
Even though the stamina Dragonknight stays as on of the lowest parsing classes, it is still a very solid choice of playing, and is still super fun to me.
Please make sure to check out other videos aswell, such as those from Liko or Rosskag since there are multiple ways to play the dragonknight, and different PoV's are always nice. I would also recommend you the aweseome website liko.gg , since it will list a ton of ESO related content, including builds to any class.
---- Potions ---- Weapon Power (Stamina, Major Brutality and Savagery)
---- Buffood ---- For parsing, you should use Lava Foot soup. You could also use that in a raid, but usually you should be able to sustain bi-stat food, which also gives you a little bit better max stats.

It felt weird to run 2h without stampede, but I just could't fit it. Maybe it would've been worth to drop noxious breath, or maybe even go double 2h, but then you would miss cloak. If stagger is already provided you might want to slot whip, drop talons and then use stampede instead or somthing like that. But that's nothing I tested/calculated. Pretty sure you could improve this concept a bit further. The rest ist just the current dummy meta setup with zaan, pillar and rele - only swapped the main and backbar weapons around basically.
Having access to executioner might make it actually worth to run over dual wield, in some encounters with long execute phases like for example Lord Falgraven in Kynes Aegis, but that is nothing I explored further yet.
Keep in mind, that all of my parses aren't top-end gameplay parses, so on a perfect rotation and flawless gameplay you can easily add a bit of damage on all of them.

Aside from a still pretty classic dragonknight tanks, DK's are pretty potent damage dealers in the recent patches again. Since in this game there are a lot of sets, which will benefit your entire group, you want to fit some of them on your damage dealers aswell - classics are Z'en and in some situations also alkosh. They pair pretty well together, as the DoT from alkosh also counts towards the stacks of Z'en. In addition to those 2 sets, you might want to add stone giant for stagger, and engulfing flames for a flame damage taken debuff or molten weapons for groupwide major brutality/sorcery. Those skills will often be ran by a tank, but if not, you should consider bringing them on a DD.
if you decide to run engulfing flames, I kinda doubt you will be able to sustain talons, so you would need to replace this skill.
Besides the support sets alkosh and z'en, you run a monster set and a mythic. For both slots you have more to choose from than just the examples here. Adjust them depending on your encounters.

Gear changed a bit aswell. Previously I often used Zaan already, since it felt better than Kjalnar or Stormfist, atleast on DK. So we use that here. The biggest change is not using an arena weapon. We are running two 5 piece sets - pillar and rele, since arena weapons got nerfed a bit. Pillar backbar works pretty well, but that is nothing new, it also does since quite some time. Relequen front bar used to be flagged as a no-go some time ago, but nowadays it is actually not too bad, you barely lose any damage from it. Both whip and stone giant felt pretty potent, but whip will for sure be better in content if stone giant is already provided.
I think CMX is not calculating the new 15% crit dmg on the dummy, that's why it looks like I am under cap.
I also tried a 5222222222221 setup, feat. maelstrom dual wield, but got only about 113k with it.

We got some teaser information about a few combat changes, and a lot of endgame oriented players thought it will be a very bad idea. Thankfully it turned out even worse than expected. First of, not everything is terrible. The patch drops some adjustments to classes, which is ok, even though a lot is up for a few more changes, because a lot of stuff got nerfed too hard, or is changed in an unhealthy way.
Now the main combat changes. There are 2 big things. 1 adressing light and heavy attacks, the oder dot durations, both dmg and heal.
Even though I don't really agree on the light attack change, I think it will be fine. Ye we lost damage there, but whatever, we eventually get it back by other ways.
But there is one thing I absolutely hate, and I simply can't understand how anybody would want this. It is one thing, that the damage per cast is higher and the dps lower, but also ground AoE now tick every 2 seconds instead of once per second. Aswell as most dots now lasting 20 seconds as base, with stuff like wall of elements or endless hail 30seconds. or the dk dots 24 seconds. This obviously somewhat achieves what they want - easier rotations so "not so experienced players" have better access to the content. bullshit. Yes, it makes the rotation itself easier, but the problem isn't that rotations are so hard lol. You have simple ways of easy rotations while maintaining a lot of DPS. This change is so delusional, I can't understand how anybody thinks this will keep the gameplay fun for anybody born with hands.
It is sad to see that being good at the game, investing time, is a bad thing, and needs to be punished, so some no hand flower pickers can eventually come closer. Ignoring the fact that this won't even be the case with the changes.

That means we seperated the first boss (we started with full nuke, but it felt kinda inconsistent), didn't go upstairs on second boss (as if anybody does that), second pad on spider because we were missing some damage for full nuke, classic committee burn and simple assembly general.
My job was applying a lot of debuffs like z'en, alkosh, stagger. That was quite some fun, even though that obviously massacred my damage. My personal performance in this run was also pretty bad to be honest, so my damage is pretty low compared to my usual runs.

Recently Dragonknights got a huge hit on their combustion passive, which will cost them alot of sustain, which they had plenty of before. Now, magicka Dragonknights need to watch out a bit, but stamina Dragonknights have a hard time sustaining the whip as spammabe. Since FoO and Eruption are basically must-have skills, you already have some magicka drain. I messed around a bit and was simply too annoyed to contiune trying to make whip work. So I just went with the good old stone giant. On live, I already struggle to sustain Whip in some encounters, while running magicka restore potions, so I am not really optimistic that it will work out after the nerfs, but we shall see.
Skills aren't really special here, just some classic skills. If stone giant is already provided you probably can just use rapid strikes/bloodthirst. Crossbow from Fighters Guild is also ok, but is a bit cringe because dragonknights cast alot of spammables.
Gear is almost the same as already known, just that, since coral riptide got a nice buff, we swapped relequen to coral. That doesn't make relequen a bad set, it is still super strong. Actually, I doubt you will use Coral in quite some raids, like Kynes or Rockgrove, since you need to block quite a bit there, and dying because of too low stamina is not very nice.
I haven't had a look at the new AoE relequen 'Whorl', but that seems to be pretty solid aswell, according to some others that did the test.

Just some scenes from 2 Battelgrounds I had, playing in solo queue. I am still over- and/or undercasting my skills, or going to agressive not watching my ressources and/or defense.
The build I am running is nothing special. Front bar kynmarcher's maces, backbar daedric trickery 2h. Magma Incarnate as monster set, death dealer's as mythic and 1pc trainee. I also tried bloodspawn, plaguebreak and markyn mythic in different combinations. All of those felt pretty decent, but this was something that felt pretty decent on both offense and defense, which it still helps the group a bit since I am providing some debuffs, very little cross heal and magma incarnate.
I also tried not being a stage 3 vampire at first, but I don't think you really have a choice on that. It felt so much better as soon as I became a vampire.

Not really a lot of major changes, especially on the dragonknight itself. Engulfing Flames debuff got nerfed, a few CP nodes got nerfed. Some new Sets were introduced and 2 new CP nodes, but by now nothing really interesting for the dragonknight on the dummy.
With this setup I lost a few thousands of dps compared to the live server, but on some others I lost way more. Not sure if it's just me being pepega or something else. Anyway, this is just a quick parse after messing around a little bit. There might be a different set/skill combination that hits harder, but that's the highest I got so far.
I will mess around with some more setup in the upcoming weeks, including some more meme like parses I guess, but for now that seems like an ok review of how much dmg loss on the dummy the stamina dragonknight would experience.

Compared to dual wield, the sheer stats you get are quite a bit less. Dual wield can provide 2 different traits, which enables some nice combinations of different stats. Yes, traits on 1 dual wield weapon are 50% of the value from a 2h weapon, but having a charged off-hand is super strong, especially on dragonknights with burning and poisoned. In addition to that, there is no crit chance two handed weapon, so you have to use the weapon damage one in most cases. Sadly the passives from two handed are slightly worse than the one from dual wield aswell.
Anyway, two handed front bar is for sure not a terrible choice, and probably even better in some niche situations. I went with an inferno back bar because why not, but I also tested black rose dual wield back for a very short time, but the damage was much less, for me at least.
Also tried with AY on front bar instead of the 5/2/2/2/2/1 combination, and it was basically the same dps.
Doesn't matter if you go with stone giant, wrecking blow or whip I went with stone giant since it provides a higher ult gen thanks to the earthern heart passives, which lines up pretty well with the timing on the dummy. Whip would also be impossible to sustain if you go with an inferno staff.

You still kinda want to have a DD using supportive sets for your group. A long time classic is Z'en, and now, because of a lot of different changes in current and last DLC's, Alkosh can be pretty useful for not only stamina groups.
In this parse, I combined both of the above mentioned sets, and since I am a masochist, I also added Stagger to that. Please note that this parse is not tryharded to fully optimise the dummy dps, it is simply just to show an idea how you could utilize this kind of a setup. Alkosh is a freaking wet noodle on the dummy, since you can only snack 1 synergy every 20 seconds, so in a raid the damage of the set should at least be doubled.
Please keep in mind to adjust gear, skills and whatever depending on your needs. You have a lot of wiggle room here. You could swap alkosh to body, and use an arena set on your front/back bar. You can swap to engulfing flames to support your group if its needed. It is more damage than noxious breath anyway, I just kept noxious because I am lazy.

Since I want to have an arena set on my frontbar, I chose to go with a 5/2/2/2/1 setup, those feel best if you want to have an arena set. Gear didn't really change, but I used a little different skill setup. Whip, to help my sustain till 50% boss HP, and having a nice passive weapon damage boost. Engulfing, since I have alot of free magicka, and it is better than noxious breath, since it is flame damage. You can tweak your skills depending on your needs, for example, you could probably go with talons and/or blade cloak, and not use eruption and/or engulfing then.
I am pretty sure on a crit lucky parse, with a flawlesss rotation you can easily add another 3-5k dps, but for my purposes this was enough.
Make sure to check out other videos aswell, since this is only my point of view. Other people might see different stuff which I didn't.

In this video I'll show, that even with basegame or not really favored sets you can still reach decent damage numbers.
There are a lot of different sets, which are not really used, since they are simply worse than BiS options, but are solid overall considering they are easy to get, so perfect to get started with.
I chose Leviathan and Viper's String with Selene's, since all 3 sets are dropping in pretty easy base game dungeons. You can easily get more damage by using DLC dungeon sets, like tzogvin, kinras, pillar of nirn and so on. There are also good craftable sets like mechanical acuity, heartland conqueror, hundings rage. Getting some trial sets is also not as hard as some people might think. Like, farming non perfected relequen in craglorn nCR+3 runs is pretty decent, and then you would already have a very strong set.
I hope this video helps some people to see, that full meta gear is not mandatory to hit some numbers which will get you through content.

As always, I keep coming back to the good old Maelstrom Dual Wield, and test if it might be worth running again, and I got surprised.
I had to do the tests with Heroism Potions, since sustain on the magicka side is pretty rough on the dummy, this might be better during actual raids. Could also go with Jesters Buffood for Max Stamina and Magicka Recovery, instead of only Max Stamina Food as shown here.
There is nothing really special here tho. Try to only cast your ST dots when you have the cruel flurry buff, and cast stuff like stampede or FoO whenever. I tried Noxious Breath instead of Eruption first, and mag sustain was obviously better, but eruption is a very strong AoE skill, so it ended up being slightly better (~1k). Sadly Maelstrom Dual Wield doesn't apply to sets like relequen or Maelstrom Two-Handed, that would make this very strong, but it is kinda competitive still.

Hybrid Dragonknight PvE - 120k+ DPS | Ascending Tide PTS | ESOLordReaper9872022-02-19 | Week 3 of Ascending Tide pts. "Stam" dk now has access to strong eruption and burning talons, which is a great addition tbh, even though that makes it basically a budget magdk sadge.
Please keep in mind, that this is not a perfect parse, as you can see in the CMX at the end of the video. I missed light attacks, dropped stagger a few times and probably messed up skill priority a few times aswell. So obviously there is more potential. I'd guess a proper parser could see at least 3k more dps with this. I just couldn't get bothered to farm for a more flawless parse with better crits. This should be enough to get a rough idea what is possible with the new tools the sDK got access to.
Anyway, with a little bit of testing, a more traditional setup of rele and kinras seemed to work better than that 522222222221 meme like setup, since it buffs 2 powerful new skills, which I mentioned above. The meme setup did do pretty solid aswell still, with only a few k behind, but that was also only with even fewer parses. So overall, either setup should be fine. I went with stone giant here, since there is no way to sustain talons, eruption, foo and whip. Even without whip it was kinda rough. I also like SG more than flurry, but either of flurry's morphs should be decent enough aswell.

On week 1 for the Ascending Tide dlc PTS, they did some changes alot of people are malding about, but that's not the topic. They also did some small interesting changes featuring specific skills. In this case, Power Slam and it's morphs. They do now count, fitting the name, as Bash abilities, means they get buffed by bash dmg multipliers.
I also wanted to something with that Deadlands Demolisher set, even though it should be pretty obvious it isn't really good. (the active part did ~1k dps) Anyway, I didn't do optimised testing with that, so it's just what I quickly came up with. Pretty sure you could push SnB dmg a bit higher, with maybe Kinras or smth though.

However, it was much fun to finally play my stamina Dragonknight in raids again, and the overall damage output wasn't too bad either, even though in this run, as always, my dps was worse than on the previous tries. Anyway, we did it after just a couple of weeks progging. Of course the time with 25min isn't really fast nowadays, but since we went for some more safer strats, and had to wait a few times till everyone was ready lul, it is still pretty decent imo.

In this video I'll showcase EXAMPLES of how you could setup your character, if you are needed to run a support set for your group. Please note that all setups can easily parse higher, if you have a more flawless rotation than I do.
For stamina groups the best and most desired ones are z'en, alkosh and morag tong, but I did also a parse with war machine. I would not use war machine on anything other than people who run the colossus ultimate, so necromancers. However, the damage difference between zen, alkosh and tong was so low, that you can easily run either of those. Keep in mind that Alkosh would be slightly stronger in raids, since on the dummy you only get one synergy every 20 seconds. I did not cover stuff like PA, EC, etc, because 1. I don't have those and 2. It is pretty wasted to run on a dd DK. If you need EC in your stam group and cant fit it on a support role, maybe consider a necromancer. PA could be done by using caltrops on your backbar, but the uptime would require you to use it twice in a row, which is pretty bad since it has no upfront damage.
On all showcased setups you could easily fit Stone Giant in aswell if you are needed to, but for just showcasing I did not choose to run it. Just drop Rending Slashes/Shadow Silk for SG.
Z'EN: In this setup I played z'en on my backbar only. This left me with the opportunity to run BRP DW front bar. You could also easily run vMA 2h backbar and z'en frontbar instead. I chose kilt + 1 light kragh to get the pen value I need on the dummy, and get free weapon crit chance/damage. But I guess you could also run a Monster set instead. You should easily have enough dots that count towards z'en, as you can see by the tracker I used here.
ALKOSH: Here I played it front bar, because my stats are better there, so the synergies and the alkosh proc hit harder, but it's also easier to utilize since I am mostly on this bar anyway. Feel free to swap your bar and arena weapon around as you like it better, similar to the z'en setup. I doubt it would be worth it, but I played with the idea of harmony jewelry, to increase you synergy damage from boneyard, shadow silk, orb, standard, etc. But usually bloodthirsty is too strong, and stam groups miss a steady synergy flow.
MORAG TONG: This is also pretty simple. You apply direct damage and your enemy is debuffed for 5 seconds. Since 5 seconds are quite short, I decided to play this on my front bar, but you can probably also play it on your backbar if you prefer so. Damage was pretty good aswell, and I used shadow silk instead of rending slashes to meme around a bit lol. Sadly I didn't record a 109k parse I did, but I'll add this here.
WAR MACHINE: Don't use this on your DK. It is nice for solo arenas, but not for optimised group content. Either you have a RoJo healer, or you let tank/healer/necros run this set. However, the damage wasn't that bad. I ran it on my backbar, since I only need it there, since I only use standard anyway.

Please check out other videos aswell, since this is only my point of view and other people might see different stuff that I missed.
Ok so, in this video I will cover 5 different Single Target oriented Setups, with one being a flexible meta setup for raids, and some alternatives for niche situations or simply decent altrernatives. Please note, that all parses here have potential for more damage, if your rotation and weaving is more flawless than mine, so you can probably add a few K's on all of those if you play better than I do.
Since this video was alot of work, I'd highly appreciate if you could drop some feedback in the comments below :D
In the Deadlands DLC the dragonknights got some interesting changes, even though the stamDK was kind off left behind a bit. We did get the opportunity to run the molten whip on stam now aswell, which results in nice sustain on both of our ressources, if we build correctly. So that's for sure something nice and also pretty unique.
I tried to cover the most important stuff in the video, but I am human, so if I missed something, please feel free to ask in the comments, and I will be happy to answer you as best as I can.

With the Deadlands DLC the Dragonknight class got some nice changes mostly affecting PvE dps. So I thought I should also do a video for the mag DK again, since the last one was a loong time ago. In this video I'll showcase 2 setups, 1 support setup with the famous Z'en set, and one purely damage focused with Advancing Yokeda (Berserking Warrior).
Please note, that both here shown parses are really not the limit. A proper parser, with better LA and Bahsei (magicka) management can probably shave another 2k dps (for example rosskag and sofa already showcased 115k).
In both parses I used the Heroism Potions (non hero pots was roughly 2k less dps)
---- Gear ---- If you can, your main set will always be bahseis, since that set is simply the best you can get if you are able to manage your magicka properly. AY is one of the best sheer damage sets you can get, but there are very good alternatives, with one being for example Kinras. Kinras is pretty much the same dps as AY, but also helps your group with the minor berserk uptime, so that set might be favored for raids. I would not play either of both mentioned sets for dungeons though. You could for example run Bahseis + Medusa/BSW or some other sets, that's obviously up to you ;D If you sustain is too good in raids, which might be the case if you have enough sustain help from supports and alot of adds you can proc burning on, then you can always consider running another piece of medium armor (for example medium slimecraw) since that would increase your damage but lower your sustain. If you are in a situation where kilt is not really good to use, you can go for a monster set like Maw of the Infernal, since those can now crit again, causing them to be really strong, but kilt is still better if you can keep it up.
If you want an overview of good set alternatives, I can recommend you the summary from Skinny Cheeks, he went over alot of good sets and also explained a bit in what situations you might wanna prefer one over the other. youtube.com/watch?v=4iin7gOEX28
---- Traits ---- Traits did not really change, but there is one important note. Charged got buffed by an insane amount. Previously Dragonknights could easily use charged to help with the sustain while also having strong damage output. Now, that trait got buffed even more, so you always want to have 1 charged if you are playing dual wield, but using charged on your staff or both dual wields is also very strong. I still think that precise on staff, and nirn/charged wil be the favored combination for raid scenarios. The rest is the same, so 7 divines and 3 bloodthirsty.
---- Skills ---- Nothing special here. All the skills are the same people used in previous patches. For raids you would want to replace degeneration with mystic orb, but that's already it. Seething Fury duration got increased to 10 seconds, so it is much easier to play around with those stacks in your rotation. Another nice skill that nobody seems to care about is Flame Reach. It's damage isn't that insane, but it also always applies the burning status on the upfront dmg of the skill, so pretty nice in some situations.

Betriebssystem: Microsoft Windows 10 HomeStamina Dragonknight PvE - 116k+ DPS | Deadlands DLC PTS | ESOLordReaper9872021-10-17 | Hello and welcome to my video about the stamina Dragonknight in the Deadlands DLC pts week 4. Today, I show you some pretty cool setup featuring the skill with the desired group buff - Stonegiant. I know, alot of people don't like using this skill, but it is still very valuable. Even though Whip and Wrecking Blow would result in more DPS, I wanted to do smth with that skill.
Please keep in mind that a more flawless parse, and some better crit luck would result in more DPS, so I guess a better player could see 118k+ with that specific setup.
---- Gear ----
During the current PTS weeks, people tested alot of different stuff. One of that being the Maelstrom 2h on your backbar, since stampede procs that effect on cooldown, and that set can now crit. For that you put your old backbar set, Blackrose Dualwield, on your frontbar. That leaves you with the nice opportunity to run nirn and charged trait and have 2 status proccing glyphs, while getting alot of weapon dmg from your berserker glyph on your back bar. Charged trait got buffed by a pretty huge amount, so you are proccing status effects like crazy (burning, poisoned, hemorraghe, sundered,..) Interesting is also that we only use 1 5piece set with relequen. The other sets are Maw of the Infernal, MA 2h/BRP DW, kilt and 2pc offensive pen, to be close to the pen cap on dummy parses. Kjalnar should be more dmg than maw, but it kinda felt better on that stone giant setup, idk, maybe it's just a me issue.
---- Skills ----
In that scenario you don't use the very strong execute from your 2h line, cause you obviously can't play it on your main bar, and your stats on your backbar and not really worth spamming executioner. Whirling Blades is a pretty bad execute, so it is better to just continue with your normal rotation and fit another skill on your bars instead. We have Molten Whip on our backbar to get those nice seething fury stacks, which now last longer, so it's a nice passive weapon dmg gain. Stampede and Carve are simply too strong, so you dont want to miss them (stampede is needed for MA 2h anyway). Noxious Breath is a kinda weak skill, but decent enough since it provides a seething fury stack. Eruption is some kind of flex spot, but it's some nice long skill, which costs mag and helps in sustain (what I actually needed here) and still does good dmg per cast.

Betriebssystem: Microsoft Windows 10 HomeStamina Dragonknight - Whip tests on PTS Week 1 U32 | Deadlands DLC PTS | ESOLordReaper9872021-09-23 | Hello and welcome to my video about the stamina Dragonknight for the Deadlands PTS Week 1. This pts week introduced a "new" spammable for stamina Dragonknights, since the well known whip now scales dynamicly, which means that it will use our weapon damage and stamina stats, while it still costs magicka, similar to Flames of Oblivion.
Even though it gets memed, I actually prefer that change over a boring poison whip that's requested by some people. Anyway, how did the tests work out so far?
---- Skills ---- Using whip as you spammable is pretty mag intensive, and in combination with Flames of Oblivion it is impossible to sustain on a basic setup. However, with the insanely buffed charged trait, you get alot of burning procs and then magicka from your combustion passive. This leaves us with just enough of magicka regeneration on the dummy that we can sustain both whip and FoO, while still having a strong dmg output. Actually, charged seems like a very strong choice that is atleast competing with precise. Getting alot of burning, poison and hemhorrage procs out of it makes it pretty nice. The rest is kinda the same skill wise. Carve, stampede and executioner cause 2h is stupidly strong. Backbar Blackrose prison DW with all 3 seething fury skills and whip to get the buffs. You could probably drop whip for something else and change the morph to the off balance one, but that felt like it is simply less dmg, even though it was much fun to use the changed skill.
---- Gear ---- With the change of most sets being able to crit again, and sets also having hybrid stats on weapon/spell dmg, penetration and crit, some stuff became much more interesting. However, right now it seems like the BiS sets from before (rele, AY, kilt), are still very dominant, but in my tests I actually had more success with Pillar of Nirn instead of AY. That doesn't mean that it is always better than AY, but it atleast felt so on the few parses I did.
I did test some sets, like calurion, rele, yandir, ay, pillar, viper, z'en, alkosh and a few more. Alkosh was a bit worse than z'en actually, but that might have been because I played worse there. In raid it should be slightly better with enough synergies.
Monster sets seemed to be roughly 4-6k less dps than what you get with kilt. I tested Maw, Kjalnaar, Selenes, Valkyn and maybe 1 or 2 more.
I will have multiple CMX' further down in the discription.

Betriebssystem: Microsoft Windows 10 HomeStamina Dragonknight - 109k+ dps Parse Update, sorry my bad :( | Waking Flame DLC | ESOLordReaper9872021-08-18 | Hey people, sorry for that, but I had a huge mistake in my rotation I uploaded in my latest video about the stam dk in Waking Flame. During the showcased 2h parse, I did refresh Carve way to early, which is free dps I did throw away (I refreshed it before the shield ran out, rather than the actual dot). In this video now, I had a result of roughly 109k, but with an Inferno staff backbar instead of dual wield. This was already a nice tool last patch, and I wanted to show that here aswell. Dual Wield should still be higher potential damage, but can be tricky to sustain, so you actually might want to replace molten whip and noxious breath with soul trap and/or eruption.
The setup shown here is slightly different aswell, with 1 light kraghs and AY greatsword, but the classic 1x slime + AY Maul showed roughly the same results for me.
Please note, that there is still alot of room of improvement, especially since I am very bad at weaving Wrecking blow, but I've seen Kortekk parsing 113k on 2h/Dual Wield !!
Once again sorry for not noticing the mistake before, but I hope this video now solves the problem^^

Betriebssystem: Microsoft Windows 10 HomeStamina Dragonknight PvE - 106k+ DPS | Waking Flame | ESOLordReaper9872021-08-14 | UPDATE: I've uploaded a new video showcasing the 2h parse, since I had a major mistake in the one shown here. In that one here, I recasted Carve way too early, which is basically free dps I have thrown away.
Welcome to my video about the stamina Dragonknight for the Waking Flames patch. Not much has changed from previous patch, but still enough to showcase 2 new parses. If you want more information about the stamina Dragonknight, make sure to check out my previous videos, and also other content creators, since there are probably different playstyles with different results.
Please note that both here showcased parses are not hyper tryharded, so with less flaws in the rotation and a bit of crit luck you can easily achieve a few k more dps. Also, the here showcased setups can be used like that in raids, but please keep in mind that certain bosses and group setups require different gear, skills and whatever, so don't just blindly copy any setup.
Sadly the stamina Dragonknight stays as one of the worst stamina characters in terms of pure dps, but it is not overall bad.
I would also appreciate if you could drop some feedback down in the comments below, so I can improve for the next video.
-------------- Weapons --------------
The highest potential dmg offers a two handed setup thanks to the great skills in it's tree, even though it has pretty bad dmg passives. You can easily replace wrecking blow with Stone Giant if you want so, the dmg loss is actually only roughly 1-2k, but you provide a strong debuff on your enemy, if you don't have a tank running it.
Dual Wield has good passives, but not so strong active abilities, causing it to fall behind Two Handed, but still being more than viable to play. Sadly vMA dual wield is even on a dual wield setup bad, sinc you can't run that set + two 5 piece sets, since you also want to run the kilt.
Bow setups can also pull decent enough dmg and have insane sustain thanks to the combustion passive from DK.
2h: Greatsword, Maul if you need pen DW: Daggers, Mace if you need pen Bow: ... Bow.
-------------- Rotation --------------
As always, I am using a dynamic rotation. I pre-buff my seething fury stacks from molten whip with using Flames of Oblivion 3 times before entering combat, then I place barbed trap, LA cast deadly cloak into venomous claw into noxious breath, swap to front bar, cast stampede and carve, swap bars to use my ultimate and keep seething stacks a bit longer. From there I just use wrecking blow and cast all dots after they ran out. Make sure to not drop Carve stacks, so recast it 1-2 seconds before it runs out. While parsing, I always try to play around a bit with seething fury stacks, or I delay some casts on skills to have more comfortable bar swaps. You replace wrecking blow with executioner at around 32-31% health (in this video I started a bit too early), and keep every other skill up during execute. You can also drop noxious breath in execute, but it was roughly the same for me anyway. At like 7% boss health don't recast anything but deadly cloak if it runs out (in this video I recastet claw at the very end, which was probably a mistake = dmg loss).

Betriebssystem: Microsoft Windows 10 HomeMaelstrom Arena - Magicka Dragonknight (595k Score) | Flames of Ambition DLC | ESOLordReaper9872021-05-22 | Here is my run which resulted in being the #1 run for Dragonknights in the Flames of Ambitition dlc (at the time this was recorded). I did not want to swap a ton of setups for each arena and/ or boss, so I went with one which seemed to work decent overall. For the first arena I have dawnbreaker slottet, to get the ultigen passive from Fighter's Guild, since I could not drop destro on the daedroth and the boss without. And I prefered to sacrifice shooting star instead of orb/scalding.
I still did not do too many vMA runs in my ESO playtime, but I practised some smaller things here and there. I lose a lot of potential time because I am sometimes kinda slow on bosses, but even more because I simply can't remember as many trigger spawns as I would want to. So as you can see, there is still alot of room for improvement.
(I do run vAS Inferno here, but NO it is not meta)
The gear setup I ran here looks a bit weird, I admit, but it worked pretty well for me. But I'd guess just running Mechanical Acuity, Mother's Sorrow or Burning Spellweave instead of Willpower, 2pc Slime and AS Inferno would also work pretty good.

I still make a lot of little mistakes, especially on the minotaur boss, during blue portals and so on. My gear and skillsetup could probably easily improve aswell, but this is what I enjoyed to run with, and since I am not aiming to push for an insane score, it is doing its job and helps me going kinda chilled through vVH. I also have a shield slotted, because sometimes I am pepega and fail to avoid or kill stuff fast enough, so it is just a little backup to prevent me from tilting because of a stupid death. I do sacrifice a little bit of extra damage for it, but this trade is worth it for me.

This was a kinda messy run, but in the end all worked out. On Stage 2, I replaced my backbar Flames of Oblivion with Poison Injection, to not have some random projectiles shooting at the netches. Stage 3 last boss was kinda unlucky, since after the gearswap I had my front bar skills also on my back bar, which caused the fight to be more messy than it should've been. On the last arena I replaced my backbar Ballista with the Standard of Might, because all adds in there are kinda dangerous, which is why I wanted to have a stronger AoE ultimate.

Betriebssystem: Microsoft Windows 10 HomeESO MagDK PvE 88k+ [Stonethorn]LordReaper9872020-09-03 | Hello and welcome to my video about the magicka Dragonknight in the Stonethorn patch. This video will start with a parse I did, followed by CMX data to the parse, CMX to another parse (88.151) with the same setup, and an alternative Setup with Elf Bane (85.641). Keep in mind, that all of my parses could get higher, with a more flawless rotation and better LA/s. Make sure to check out other videos aswell, since there are multiple options to play the magicka Dragonknight.
Magicka Dragonknights have some great cleave dmg, but can also do some decent single target DPS. Sadly the sustain is not the best, so you will need either spell symmetry, heavy attacks or an absorb magicka glyph to be able to sustain a decent dummy parse. In an actualy raid environment, the sustain isn't that bad, since you most likely have multiple stuff to procc your burning on, and have better sustain threw sets of your supports [Hollowfang, Master Resto, Symphony, etc.]
Even tho parsing with Mother's Sorrow caused better results than Elf Bane, in a raid Elf Bane is probably still the way to go.
--Gear-- Monster Sets: Maw, Illambris, Grothdar, Domihaus 5pc Sets: Elf Bane, Siroria, False God Devotion, Mother's Sorrow, Elemental Succesion, Mechanical Acuity. Most common choices are probably: Elf Bane + Siroria/False God + Ilambris/Grothdar You always want a Maelstrom Staff on your backbar.
--Mundus-- For the parsing I use the Shadow, since the crit chance is kinda high, but for an Elf Bane setup with for example Siroria, the Thief might be the better choice.
--Rotation and Skills-- I start the rotation with 3x FoO to prebuff my Molten Whip stacks and then swap bars to place the Barbed Trap. After that it is:
After that, you refresh every dot when it runs out, if there are no dots to reapply then use molten whip. Sometimes when your magicka gets a bit low, squeeze a spell symmetry in, if you use it. Make sure to recast the trap about 1.5 - 2 seconds earlier, since it needs a little bit to activate. Degeneration is only for parsing, in an actual raid, you'd want Mystic orb or maybe Burning Talons if you run Elf Bane. There is also different ways to use your ultimates during parsing, like
Standard - shooting star - standard - standard or standard - standard - standard - shooting star.
For me it didn't make huge differences, but for a raid you basically always want to drop standard. Also consider Elemental Rage in fights where you can't take benefit from a full standard, or simply just want more burst dmg.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to weave as best as you can, since it is free DPS [weaving:Do light attacks after your skill-casts within the global cooldown]
--Buffood and Potions-- For parsing you want to use ghastly eye bowl (Mag, magrecovery), while in a raid or dungeons you would want either Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl (Bistat) or Clockwork Citrus Filet (Mag, Health, Magrecovery) For potions you want Spellpower pots ( Magicka, major intellect, major prophecy, major sorcery) You can either craft or buy those. The alliance pots also work, they are pretty much the same.
--Races-- In this video my character is a Darkelf(Dunmer) BiS Races is Highelf, but good alternatives are Darkelf, Khajit, Breton
