DuplEx - Eye of the Storm DuplEx 2021-09-25 | The creation process of this track was quite odd... I wanted to jam out a bit by connecting my bass to an audio card into the pc but apparently if you don't use the proper drivers the sound comes out full of white noises and distortion. I rememberd composers like Mick Gordon and Casey Edwards that use broken synths to give that raw feeling to tracks and I decided to replicate it. I liked the idea of making a track on the concept of tempest and storm so I even added some anti-tornado sirens sound effects to deliver that chaotic and Noise-core vibe to the track. I just loved the Magnamalo hunt and with time it probably became my favorite flagship if not my fav monster ever. His theme is so epic but elegant, badass but dreadful... it's a great mixture of emotions and I kinda wanted to capture that with the remix. I really took my time with this one so I hope it turned out to be worth the wait. And the thing that caught my attention the most was this beautiful mud boy! The design, movements and attacks are so awesome so I decided to try to create a theme for it!I decided to use a lot of heavy percussion as they somehow deliver the vibe of "earth and mud" alongside some japanese-styled instrument to match the vibe of the monster.
