The REAL Source of ch5_inversion_lake_chant.ogg - DELTARUNE Weird Route CrackedMIDI (CM436) 2026-06-29 | I DID NOT FIND THIS!! although it's a fairly simple trick and I think a lot of people would've discovered it on their own eventually.The actual source of ch5_inversion_lake_chant.ogg comes from inverting the phase/reversing the polarity of either the OST or in-game version of Festival and playing it on top of the other one.This completely cancels out everything that is the same between both versions and leaves anything that rendered slightly differently (due to manual changes, random sample offset, release envelopes, etc).The result is also slowed down from 120 BPM to 88 BPM.I've been seeing a lot of speculation about the music and sounds from the weird route, so I wanted to share something that we actually CAN prove for now. I really can't see this having any sort of lore significance but I thought it was neat either way.
