GTA: Online - LSA Operations [All Bonus Objectives, Solo]

Zak Ras 2023-06-24 | Probably the last GTA Online video from me that's gonna have a relaxed formula for a while. These are made up of multiple runs of the LSA Operations missions to include all Bonus Objectives in a "single run" - even if it means using runs with different locations & soundtracks.

What is mildly annoying is putting in the effort to get the Tier 4 Reward from San Andreas Mercenaries, specifically for this (and a yet-to-be-recorded, at time-of-writing) video... only for every mission to force a preset outfit.

GTA: Online - Project Overthrow Missions [Solo, Hard, No Snacks/Armor]

Zak Ras 2023-06-16 | Thus begins the San Andreas Mercenaries update - introducing an entirely new Challenge Tier System with the "Career Progress" tab.

Under the "Contact Missions" tab, all existing "storyline" Contact Missions now feature their own list of challenges, the 3 tasks to unlock Tier 4 - and by extension all previous tiers - are as follows:
- Complete all [storyline] missions on Hard difficulty without using snacks or armor.
- Complete all [storyline] missions taking less than 50% damage.
- Complete all [storyline] missions with over 80% accuracy.

For a while it was a 3 horse race between; hitting $1b, hitting Rank 1000 & GTA Online's 10th Anniversary.

When LSDW launched in December 2022, I had $698m. After 3 months of Acid Lab, Cayo Perico, the Bunker, Nightclub & Daily Vaults, I earned my way to $800m. Then the 3x Auto-Shop week happened and I earned another $100m in just 7 days. Then the 4x Biker Week Happened, much calmer that week only earned $40m. Earning another $10m in my spare time, I took proper break from GTA Online leaving it at $950m... then another 3x Auto-Shop Week happened, and given I earned 100m the first time and only needed 50m to hit the ten figures... waste not, want not.

Metal Gear Solid 2 - Big Boss First Time Playthrough | New Game, No Skips, NGOID

Zak Ras 2023-04-30 | Here it is - what is considered to be the toughest top rank in the franchise. But if I could get Foxhound Rank in MGS3 and then NDS Rank all of Revengeance, then surely after 20 years I could get Big Boss Rank in MGS2? I won't be doing this again.

MGS: Peace Walker - Ultimate ZEKE vs Ground Zeroes Loadout - S RANK

Zak Ras 2023-03-18 | What better way to end the Ground Zeroes 9th Anniversary, than S Ranking the fight against the greatest weapon MSF ever both created & fought, using only the weapons Big Boss could use in MSF's final mission?

RULES:
Unlike in The Phantom Pain part of this challenge where I was using the lowest grade of weapons possible to match their GZ counterparts - here in Peace Walker I'm using the highest grades possible. That's to keep with the idea that Ground Zeroes was MSF at the absolute possible peak they can reach in Peace Walker.

Due to the different Health mechanic, I can freely use HEALTH & PSYCHE Recovery Items.

I can't use MSF's Mother Base Gun Platforms - I can use the Supply Console in the level to save worrying about bringing Supply Markers. This means it's strictly Big Boss & the Ground Zeroes Loadout.

As for ZEKE itself;

Zak Ras 2022-12-24 | Stealth truly is my specialty - no better way to end the Metal Gear franchise, having finally spent the whole game finally living out the Cyborg Ninja fantasy we wanted since 1997, to re-experience the thrills of infiltration & extfiltration that the series was founded on, with the breakout character who having never met him determined he would follow the same advice Big Boss gave in his final moments.

I mean, imagine if the seres ended with some utterly disasterous plotline set in the real far future of something like the 23rd Century that left humanity with no hope if you tried to maintain the continuity of the series.

Zak Ras 2022-12-21 | Resupplying any passive business is not advisable if you're looking to actually make money efficiently - purchasing supplies is worth the time it'll save you otherwise. However, credit where credits due - In the Green Goo mission, if you're wearing any form of gas mask, the game won't prompt you to pickup a gas mask that's placed nearby, it seems most forms of gas masks are intentionally programmed to cancel out the gas during that mission - nice attention to detail, something to keep an eye out for in future updates.

These pay 50k normally IF you perform them perfectly, in a similar fashion as the Payphone Hits. Missions such as Working Remotely have a semi-fail condition where you'll only be paid half if you do not perform the mission correctly. Perform 10 and you will unlock the equipment upgrade for the Acid Lab, allowing you to increase production speed and sale value.

No - you can't go down past the stairs.
Yes - I could have sped it up, but this is a Ranked fight, not peacefully collecting fire extinguishers.
No - I can't imagine how you're supposed to NDS Rank this without the Brown Wig.
Yes - that single fight leaves me with no respect to pay it's the reason I use the FOX Blade for this chapter.

Sam VR Mission 4 relies on the luck of enemy decision making... Chapter 4, Ranked 2 is nothing but top-tier bad design.

🎅🦊 Metal Gear Solid 3 - Santa Claus Foxhound Run (No Glitches)

Zak Ras 2022-12-01 | There's only one man who can get around all the houses of the world in one night... and it ain't Santa Snake, he can barely get through a small area of the Russian jungle in 3 days.

Just like my Raiden challenge, I go for no glitches. Specifically; no silent grenade step and not windowing Volgin's torture. Also a few areas throughout the motorcycle section I have to take off the Downloaded camo - knowing that info from my Raiden run, I don't actually know if those crashes are tied to S.Wood or ALL the Downloaded Camo's and I didn't bother to test.

Zak Ras 2022-11-10 | As predicted, just a year earlier than when it happened, Cayo Perico received 2 nerfs - a 2 hour and 24 minute cooldown if you complete the Heist solo before you can pay the setup costs to launch another one and a 72 hour cooldown on Primary Targets.

However, the 72 hour Primary Cooldown comes with the bonus of Tequila boosting all Secondary Target values by 20% - combined with the Elite Challenge and Coke, you can walk away with almost an extra $200,000 than before.

Zak Ras 2022-11-03 | I've only done Heist videos twice, once for my first time run in 2015, again in 2017 during a Double Money event... but that was pre-Gunrunning. Now in 2022, the game has changed significantly and Heists have had their payouts increased... that and there's decisions I made in the 2017 series I made when I know I knew better.

So this time, other than having to do it with randoms, no half measures. Correct outfits, correct vehicles, correct... well, I did intend on doing the NOOSE truck method going in, but I spent 4 days going through countless teams that completely refused to listen or co-operate with me in the slightest - then I discovered the difference not failing this mission at any point makes... not that it mattered.

GTA: Online - Lamar Missions [💲x4 Money, Hard, Solo, No Deaths, Loadout Challenge] | Xbox Series X

What better way to start off my Series X videos of GTA Online than going right back to the 2013 basics with Lamar's Contact Missions... but this time with 2 twists. Quadruple bonus money and doing an LD Organics themed Loadout Challenge. EDIT: Which I only realise about a week after scheduling this vid I should've used the Micro SMG with the Organics Finish instead of the Machine Pistol.

All these missions are paying out the full 16+ minute tier payout - no, they do not actually take anywhere near that long to complete. No, it is not worth actually waiting all that time - I did it purely for getting the stupid numbers on the payout screen.
