Fire Train haymrk 2012-12-31 | A special effects test to create computer generated flame and apply them to a pre recorded video. Rendered animations created in blender. The first rendered flames were made with the "quick smoke" option but they appear quite cartoon like. The next set of flames were made with the particle and physics menu and they appear a lot more realistic the hard part then was trying to get the flames to match the video. The last section on this is simply the original footage without any effects, filmed in Poland by a main line.
Robo. Co-D and the Mantis haymrk 2012-11-17 | A second short episode using my robotic character. Robo. Co-D Plays with magic haymrk 2012-03-13 | A simple robotic character that I have created to allow me to practice and test things within 3D animation. Co-D the robot or Robo. Co-D is quite basic for now but hopefully he will develop over time as I experiment more.The music is a quick mash up of loops made in lmms, it's a little messy so might be best to mute it.

A Tripods Adventure haymrk 2012-01-09 | A Tripod's Adventure a basic hand drawn animation to test movement and motion. The plot is simply about making inanimate object come to life, in this case the objects (characters) are a camera tripod and a fire extinguisher playing on a muddy hill side.The first hand drawn animation I made while participating in an animation work shop a couple of years ago. It probably could of done with a few more in-between frames to smooth out the motion, but this was just a learning exercise.
radio noise haymrk 2011-12-30 | I was bored, so to make myself slightly less bored I went to turn on the radio but I found the random tuning noises to be more entertaining than the shows and bad music on there, though they are boring to watch back. So to disguise its badness I think I can get away with calling it modern art, because everyone knows that modern art is rubbish.
hackerks opening creds haymrk 2011-12-06 | Another old college project that I thought I'd blow the dust off. Looking at it now it seems quite unfinished and roughly cut around the edges. The music with it was meant to sound like a digital phone signal/ internet traffic down a phone line but it doesn't work to well with the video. I might try using the youtube audio swap feature later when I get fed up with how it sounds. The track that I originally had in mind was 'The Ocean' by Led Zeppelin. *update* OK, I got fed up with my digital phone line music so I swapped it for this cover of the ocean by Laura Veirs & Mount Analog.
bluebell locomotive haymrk 2011-10-25 | Just a short clip of the Bluebell railway to test my compact camera video feature that I've never really bothered with before. The quality is quite low. I also though that I'll have a play with the Youtube video editor to see if that makes any difference to quality or output.
boxed robot haymrk 2011-10-10 | A random flash animation I made a couple of years ago to test cycles and other adobe flash tools. I've also added a short sample from a random track I made on LMMS that sounded robotic, mechanical, computerised and noisy to me.

alien invader haymrk 2011-08-16 | My first animation made with blender a free 3D studio. Made after watching a few tutorials online, still need to work on things but it's a start. A simple story of an alien going off to the space invaders battle. Plus I had a quick play in lmms to create some basic music chords to go with the animation.
