The Corwen Special 1st June 2023 Nicholas Tozer 2023-06-02 | On the 1st June 2023 I was lucky enough to be invited to travel on the 'Official' first train to the new station at Corwen. The re-opening of the line to Corwen is the culmination of the dream of the founders of the Llangollen Railway and it was appropriate that the locomotive used on the first public train in 1981 was leading the first train to Corwen on this day.
